Posto molto carino e particolare. Piatti molto buoni, e primi particolari. Consigliato, prezzi comunque nella norma e non troppo esagerati.

Location fantastica…. Ex frantoio risalente al 1100 praticamente si cena in una stanza scavata nella roccia , Cibo eccezionale, abbiamo degustato 6 portate uniche, e una meglio dell’altra . Gentilezza,simpatia e cortesia … CONSIGLIATISSIMO !!!

Nel locale, un ex frantoio ipogeo, c'è un'atmosfera davvero affascinante con luci soffuse e attenzione al dettaglio. I titolari sono molto gentili e attenti alle esigenze del cliente. Ho ordinato un carpaccio di salmone ai sali pregiati con ginepro che era davvero squisito, si scioglieva in bocca. Come primo ho scelto la pasta Calamarata con calamari e pomodori ciliegino, il cui sapore delicato mi ha davvero colpita. Tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino consigliato dal titolare. Degna di nota è anche la cheesecake. Assolutamente consigliato.

Ad una location eccezionale si affianca un'ottima cucina. Pochi coperti permettono di garantire una cucina deliziosa, ricercata e buonissima.

Fabulous food in extraordinary surroundings! This family-run restaurant has to be a must when in Ostuni. The food is lovingly prepared and cooked by the husband and wife team, who are also very engaging. Excellent local wines pair beautifully with the dishes.

An extraordinary dinner experience in a cave in Ostuni. A husband & wife team (no other staff) - doors locked and only entry if prebooked guests. The food was so delicious cooked by Mrs. and Mr. was a fantastic & funny Maitre’D. The smoked swordfish, smoked salmon with juniper and beef carpaccio were out of this world! We had a few bottles of delicious rose’. Mains included beef fillet, gnocchi, seared tuna, lamb shanks and slow roast beef - all were delicious! Our dessert included the most delicious tiramisu and orange cake to celebrate a special Birthday. The most wonderful end to an Italian holiday of a lifetime! Grazie - Gary & Sandie, WA, Australia

When you talk to the owners/chefs Fabrizio & Donatella, you can tell they are both passionate about the quality of their food and it shows in the way their food tastes. Everything we ordered was simply excellent. The spaghetti with octopus and onion was so flavorful. The sweetness of the onions complemented the octopus beautifully. The Ragu special was a standout- sauce slowly cooked for three hours with tender beef strips. The flavors were unbelievable and went well with the orecchiette pasta as all the sauce was nicely captured in each bite. The desserts were equally fantastic….the pan-a cotta with cherries and tiramisu were the best we had in Italy. The food was so good, we dined there for two consecutive nights!Definitely a must visit to this restaurant while in Ostuni!

This was our best meal in Ostuni. The 24-hour slow-cooked lamb was exceptional — incredibly tender and full of flavor. The orecchiette was excellent too, and the artichoke with truffle and Parmesan was a really unique and delicious starter. Wine options by the glass were great, and the pricing overall felt very fair, especially for the quality. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. It seems to be run by a couple who take real care in what they do — once we were seated, the service was warm and attentive. A bit of an unusual arrival (the door was locked at first!), but once inside, it made sense — they prefer to cook for just a few guests at a time, and it really shows in the food and the experience. Highly recommended.

We had the best dinner in Ostuni last night. We absolutely LOVED the beautiful space, the incredible service by the chef and his team and of course, the food. The freshest and most local ingredients (the lobster we had was from the 5 minutes we asked for it to what it took to cook it). The amberjack and veal carpaccio were just spectacular. Soft, tasty. Such an amazing cave venue with super friendly staff who take pride in their restaurant, hard to beat! The food was authentic pugliese and we had really nice local wine. It was all really tasty and the staff were really helpful and kind. Would recommend and would 100% go back!!

We found this restaurant by accident. It turned out to be one of the greatest restaurant experiences in Puglia. Every dish was special, well made with love and experience! Wine was also a great recommendation and the owners a sweet and caring couple. The restaurant itself is a beauty and although interior only a nice spot even on hot days. A visit is highly recommended, don’t miss it (because it’s a hidden treasure)!

Had a lovely time with fantastic food, authentic ambience and great conversations with the owner and the chef. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, so I really don’t understand why the negative reviews directed to the people there. Yes they don’t put everything on the menu but with a little trust in them our dinning experience was elevated, and we only paid the usual price. They are not trying to make more money by hiding items from the menu. Ultimately, a decent local restaurant with passionate hospitality. What’s not to like?

This restaurant is a standout for quality, ambiance, service and value. A few steps away from the main square, the main dining room is within a spacious cave with a small window to the kitchen (which is spotlessly clean!). It is run by a husband (on the floor) and wife (at the stove) team delivering warm service (with good enough English for this non Italian speaker) and seriously delicious food (the souffle and pasta with mussells were standouts). Excellent wines available by the glass rounded out an excellent meal. Places like this help explain why Italy is revered for its food.

How this place doesn’t have 5 stars every time is a mystery to me. My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch when we arrived to Ostuni and LOVED it! We actually went back for dinner the following night. The staff was very friendly and both our pasta dishes were amazing. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Buonissimo!

Great food and excellent service. Two appetizers, one artichoke and another eggplant was delicious. The gnocchi with clams was different from what I had in the past, but it was great combination.

Bella location in centro di Ostuni, locale molto curato e affascinante, romantico... piatti ben lavorati e presentati, staff cordiale e ospitale... prezzi giusti per rapporto qualità/prezzo/quantità... 2 antipasti tra carne e pesce, 2 primi di pesce, 2 dolci, caffè e amaro offerti, 1 bottiglia di vino... 93 euro... consigliato siamo stati benissimo... L unico cavillo: i tempi un po’ sopra le righe ma nulla di catastrofico... ottimo!

Ristorante incantevole, molto suggestivo... Romantico ma anche per famiglie! Menu non molto ricco di pietanze ... Ma molto alto come qualità! Personale molto accogliente... Anche se un po' impacciato durante le comande (ecco il motivo delle 4 stelle)! Paghi come mangi... Consigliata la prenotazione!

Un ristorante tipicamente ostunese, con la chef preparata e molto disponibile nell'accontentare i propri clienti. La location è molto bella (in pietra ostunese) e ha pochi tavoli, ciò quindi rende l'ambiente molto elegante ed intimo. La qualità del cibo è alta (materie prime eccezionali). I prezzi sono assolutamente in linea con il mercato della località e per la bontà dei piatti. Lo consigliamo a chi apprezza la buona tavola.

Ambiente piacevole, cucina buona, ma con poche varianti rispetto alla carta di pochi mesi fa. Assolutamente tutto molto curato, anche se ho notato un po' di disorientamento quando molti tavoli sono occupati. Insomma, molto gradevole, ma un po' ripetitivo.

We had a gorgoeus evening at this restaurant last Thursday. The owners were hospitable and friendly. We loved their quiet confidence in recommending gorgeous wine and tailored food to our liking. We had fresh gnocchi, pasta, catch of the day. The interior cave design and nonchalance of wine around the restaurant felt effortless and beautiful. Questo posto ci è stato consigliato da un’amica. Appena entrati siamo rimasti a bocca aperta perché il posto è stupendo, è situato nella roccia naturale. Infatti ci aspettavamo grandi cose per il cibo. Il servizio era nella media, niente di che. Il cibo, come si può vedere nelle foto, è molto semplice. La materia prima era molto buona, ma per il prezzo dei piatti non ne valeva la pena. In due abbiamo preso due naturali, due calici di rosso, due antipasti e due secondi. In totale abbiamo speso €97. Non penso ci ritorneremo

La location è davvero suggestiva: il ristorante è ricavato nella roccia naturale, e l’atmosfera che si respira è unica, sicuramente uno dei punti forti del locale. Dal punto di vista gastronomico, però, l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. Il servizio nella media, con un cameriere piuttosto respingente e poco accogliente. I piatti (come si vede dalle foto) erano molto semplici: la materia prima buona, ma cucinata con un gusto eccessivamente saporito che ne copriva la qualità naturale. Abbiamo preso due antipasti e due primi, senza vino, spendendo 85 euro in due: un prezzo che, per l’esperienza complessiva, non riteniamo giustificato. 👉 In sintesi: bellissima location, ma cibo e servizio non sono stati all’altezza. Non lo consiglierei.

One of the worst restaurants in Ostuni! The owner is rude and he tried to convince us that he is serving authentic food! Wines on the menu are not available the available ones are not good and full of acidity and not local. Best you can do with his wines is to use them as salad dressing. We sent back two bottles and we accepted the third one as we didn’t want to discuss and we’re eager to enjoy our evening. As the main dishes came we were forced to admit that the fish is frozen the carpaccio is not made of raw meat and is dried meat instead. He decided to bring first and second course at once to have less work. The lady chef in the kitchen has probably lost her sense of her taste over the years. They should close the place and learn how to cook. As we complained about the quality and paid the bill called the police on us for nothing. This place serving blend food and not worth a visit not even for a second. Disgusting and disgrace to Italian cuisine.
