Un restaurante perfecto para comer o cenar en Oviedo. Separado de la multitud. Tienen un cachopo minero muy creativo y diferente al resto, es minero bañado en tinta de calamar. Sus escalopes también están riquísimos. De entrante pedimos sus chopitos. En el postre ni lo dudes, pedid el arroz con leche y la tarta de queso. Buenísima atención al cliente. Volveré.

Cachopo Campeón de 2016 es más jugoso, está perfecto y calidad estable. Sin embargo, no nos gustó la tarta de queso ya que es tipo gelatina. En total está bonísimo el cachopo , probaré uno a uno otros tipos

Fuimos a comer y la experiencia fue estupenda. Pedimos un cachopo que estaba muy bueno, bien hecho y con muchísimo sabor. También probamos unas croquetas de cabrales, cremosas y deliciosas. Además, pedimos escalopines con salsa cabrales, y estaban espectaculares, la salsa muy sabrosa y perfecta para mojar pan. Mención especial para Gloria, la camarera que nos atendió: fue súper simpática, atenta y nos hizo sentir muy a gusto durante toda la cena. Sin duda, un sitio para repetir. 😋 Posdata: No hubo tiempo para la foto del cachopo

Mady was our waitress and she was great. She was attentive and made sure we were taking care of. After having lived in Oviedo for over a year, we have tried a lot of cachopos and this one was a standout. Amazing! Highly recommend. We ordered a half and half order of croquetas of cabrales / apple with raisins and pistachios; some of the best croquetas I have tried. Then the cachopos: the miner cachopo and the champion cachopo. Both incredible.

Mady was our waitress and gave us excellent service. The food was astounding, the best quality on Asturias gastronomy and worth every penny. We shared a pote asturiano, fabada asturiana and cachopo (cabrales cheese version), a snapshot of Asturias traditional cuisine.

This place lives up to having the best cachopo in Asturias. It was well made and tasted delicious. The downside for us was we had to sit on the patio in the cold, which I understand so I’m not sad about that, we just wish the heaters were dispersed through the patio. Would recommend and come back.

Bien en rasgos generales. Probamos el cachopo minero y una ensalada de pollo, estaba rico, el servicio fue rápido. La cuenta con sangria de sidra y agua sin postres fue de 57€.

Para comenzar el 2026, disfrutamos de unas croquetas variadas ( de jamón y de cabrales) y el punto fuerte lo dio un sabroso cachopo minero. Buen inicio de año! 😋

The cachopo is extremely good! We tried the champion of 2016 and it was totally worth it. The service is not perfect, but overall it's a must to visit this place.

Teníamos reserva a las 20.30h Hemos llegado 20min antes y mientras hemos pedido para beber. A las 20.30h hemos tenido que levantarnos nosotras a coger la carta porque no nos atendían (estábamos solas en el local y las camareras hablando en la barra...). A las 20.35h hemos tenido que hacerles señas para que vinieran a tomar nota. (Seguíamos solas en el local). La simpatía brillaba por su ausencia igual que la profesionalidad. Y el cachopo estaba bueno.

Buen cachopo. Recomendable el cachopo premio de Asturias 2016. También probamos el cachopo minero, original (empanado negro porque añaden tinta de calamar). De entrantes pedimos unas croquetas de jamón y cabrales (muy normalitas). No reservar por Internet, no está enlazado con el restaurante. Reservamos así, nos llegó correo de confirmación y luego resultó que en el local no sabían nada de nuestra reserva. La camarera, muy maja, nos ubicó en una mesa de la terraza de fuera, pero fue pura suerte, el local estaba lleno.

The food was very good. The cachopo was amazing. We also took a vegan dish with soy protein, which was very good. The problem was the time we spent waiting. We waited for too long, like more than 1h, and we booked it in advance. My advice is, if you have no problem with the waiting time, it is a good place coz the food is very good.

Had the celebrated cachopo. If you are British, think Fish and Chips with other fillings instead of fish. I had the traditional. Thin batter, thin chewy beef and cheese. And chips . Plenty of it, mind you.

Bastante que desear. Pedimos los cachopos con premio 2016 y 2019. La carne poco hecha, sin una pizca de sal. El rebozado mediocre. Las patatas congeladas. Bastante decepcionado con la calidad de la comida. Además de un servicio lento, no podíamos escanciar la sidra de pie, teníamos que hacerlo encima de la mesa (y no tienen escanciador). El pote estaba muy bueno, aunque la cantidad tampoco era exagerada.

Looked at reviews before going but cachopo over cooked and very dry. Cut into it and no cheese becase it was over cooked. Dont think we got the same service because we were scottish to be honest...cold croquetas...asked for water never got it...sure the waiter was only interested in his own image than his customers...wont be back

Unfortunately the cachopo was a huge disappointment. We were very excited to try it especially because of all of the awards it had received but it was not edible. The crust was so hard and the meat very over cooked and the group next to us had the same issue. Left hungry and did not get a refund. The waitress was really lovely and tried to help but it was not her fault.
