Ottimo ristorante! Scelto un po' a caso, ma felice di averlo fatto. Ambiente molto accogliente. Personale squisito con cui dialogare anche un po' . Piatti molto buoni. Le mie linguine con baccalà fresco forse non si sentiva molto il pesce. Mia moglie soddisfattissima del tonno alla piastra, e io del baccalà alla vicentina. Prezzo adeguato ai prodotti. Da tornare durante i frequenti tour di Padova. 👏👍🍾🍾

Un locale molto ben ristrutturato, design contemporaneo per spazi accoglienti e comodi arredi. Il Servizio perfetto e la cordialità del personale hanno completato la nostra soddisfazione per le ottime pizze, perfette per i nostri gusti. Chi apprezza la pasta sottile e leggera non può perderle, ne gusterà tutta la leggerezza che sa far posto a ricche farciture di ottima qualità. Noi torneremo a gustarle!

Conoscevo questo locale dai tempi dell’università e mi ci sono fermata per una piccola pausa a Padova. Sempre ottima la pizza, il personale e’ molto molto gentile e i prezzi sono super onesti. Ero con i miei due figli e i camerieri sono stati super pazienti e hanno giocato con entrambi… davvero 5 stelle meritatissime.

siamo stati in questo ristorante (conosciamo i proprietari da anni sempre gentili) in 4 il 26 aprile 2025 locale moderno, rinnovato, illuminato molto bene. un assaggio di schiacciatina al pomodoro (spettacolo) poi 4 primi: 2 Chitarrine al ragù chioggiotto (cozze e vongole in sugo rosso) poi una Tagliatella agli asparagi bianchi (piatto di stagione) e una carbonara. secondo: un Baccalà condito con una cremetta saporita e spettacolare e l'altro secondo polipetti al sugo con polenta morbida. dolce: un sorbetto al limone e una fetta di torta al cioccolato accompagnato con mascarpone. esperienza perfetta come sempre per non parlare del personale sempre a disposizione e gentile CONSIGLIATO A TUTTI❤️

Siamo arrivati per caso al ristorante pizzeria “Al Santo” e, nonostante fosse sabato sera e fossimo in 11 senza prenotazione, siamo stati da subito accolti con gentilezza e disponibilità riuscendo a trovarci un tavolo in pochi minuti. Locale molto carino e accogliente, tutto il personale molto gentile e simpatico, ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa! Pizze ottime e insalatona molto abbondante. Ci ritorneremo!! Trovato per caso vicino al nostro alloggio, io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati accolti da tanta simpatia in un locale carino e luminoso. Il primo con il ragù padovano buonissimo, e anche sui dolci impeccabili (peccato fossero finiti gli zaeti, ma capibile). Non c'è stata attesa (per cui si sono pure scusati senza bisogno) e ci hanno gentilmente offerto un ottimo limoncello. Veramente consigliatissimi per bontà e simpatia 🤩

This review is for the restaurant. In my five days in Padova I ate three times at Al Santo. It would have been four but they're closed on Tuesdays. Twice I had the pasta and fagioli soup. It was wonderful. I also.had the house-made macaroni with baccala and artichokes. Very good.. Dessert each time,.twice with the cake of the day. The restaurant has a clean,.modern feel..The staff are very friendly. The food is great and it seems that lots of locals eat.there. Al.Santo is just steps from the basilica.

We (two adults, two children 5&2 years) came here to eat one Sunday evening after mass and a visit at St Antonio tomb and reliquary. We did not stay in the hotel but ate at the restaurant. So my review for Room, Service and Locationnis rated accordingly. Room is in reference to the atmosphere and ambiance inside the restaurant which was beautiful, nice art, great lighting and decor, good layout, and nice music - not loud that you can’t speak over dinner. Everything was very clean and tidy. They pay attention to details, and tables were laid out simply with clean lines, colourful glasses and appropriately considering the cuisine. Floors were clean, seats were clean with no crumbs and table was clean and not sticky like other places. I had to use the baby changing facility which was extremely clean, tidy and had a baby changing table. WC didn’t stink at all! My only request would be for paper towels in the bathroom, and a step stool for a small child to use the sink. Service was excellent, friendly staff speaking English and Italian and very kind and helpful. Our table was tended to frequently (booth) and they always asked if we needed any food or drink which always arrived promptly. They were willing to answer our cuisine questions and offered us complementary bread. The children were very hungry so this was a real bonus while we waited for our order. Our food did arrive very quickly. The pizzas were huge and very tasty, and my beef with spinach, Parmesan and cherry tomatoes was excellent! The house white was fresh and sparkly- and deserts were delicious, not overly decadent or too rich in consistency. We had the equivalent to cream brûlée and a cheesecake (modern light style) not overly flavoured or pretentious- also excellent! ALL the staff were friendly and patient with my 2 year old who just wanted to be on the floor and was at the end of her day. This honestly made such a difference because it’s always hard to manage restaurant visits with little ones but not here!! So thank you for the staffs attitude towards little children. We walked in off the street, into this restaurant, seeing that it looked nice inside. It was already getting dark outside so we were invited by the nice looking lighting and warm ambiance. We had our very large double sport Thule with us (wheelchair size) the helped us get in, place our Thule somewhere safe inside and showed us to our seat without any problem! The location as a 1 -2min walk from the bascillica and maybe an answer to prayer as we looked for a decent quite FLY FREE place near by. The prices were excellent considering portion sizes and taste was superb! Serious - I would recommend this to everyone! If we were staying another night we would come back again! Sadly I didn’t take any photos but the photos on their page do not do it justice!

Two Sheds

We really like it. The room was lovely. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bathroom wasn’t huge but that didn’t bother us. The bed and pillows were perfect too.. The dinner was terrific. Like, really good. We couldn’t fault the food and wine. The staff were a little irritated that we arrived so late. We’d got lost in the town. But, they served us nicely. Breakfast next day was a treat as well and it is in such a lovely courtyard area. The lady at the front desk and the younger male hotel/restaurant manager were delightful too. They couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. We loved Padua and loved this hotel too. We’ll come back to both for sure!

I stayed at the Hotel Al Santo mid December 2017. Many reviews from other customers are very positive, as is mine. First, my room in general was clean; in particular the bed, bed sheets and bathroom were too. But, I believe that the rooms are dated and could use some refreshing. Both at the reception and the hotel restaurant the staff were very friendly! Speaking the language always goes a long way. And lastly, the food from the restaurant was delicious. I had pizza (obviously), and it was really well prepared. Kudos to the chef 🍕😍

We didn't stay at a hotel but we were dining at the restaurant. Very nice and cozy place with tasty food and reasonable prices. The staff was pleasant and polite - though a waiter couldn't speak English very well it was possible to communicate. Without any doubt I can recommend this place.

Lovely old hotel in the centre of Padova. My room had a fantastic view of the Basilica. This hotel has a great balance between modern (rooms) and old-fashioned (service), which I really enjoyed. Too many hotels now are impersonal and functional, but this hotel is exactly the opposite. Great breakfast too.

Most important info: the wifi is snappy, and works everywhere except for some parts of the lobby and the breakfast room. Hotel Al Santo is nestled in a great part of Padua, near the Cathedral de San Francesco. Our room was roomy and looked out towards a serene, leafy terrace. The furniture was old school, but quite fine. Our service was cordial. The front desk helped us do everything from grabbing bus tickets to finding parking. Al Santo is absolutely a solid hotel. You won't go wrong here.

Servizio veloce e piatti abbondanti. Abbiamo preso una primo con merluzzo e uno con zucchine e gamberi. Senza infamia e senza lode. Prezzi un po' alti rispetto la media. Se cercate un locale autentico Padova opterei per altro.

Need to say pay parking off-site and no access for auto as it it's in historical district. Conventioned parking is not adequate description of parking availability. Great location after you parked 6 blocks away carrying luggage and paid for parking. Nice room with private bath and we had to pay for breakfast.
