Raising Cane’s in Palm Springs is a super convenient stop, perfectly located near Starbucks, Walmart, Petco, and other nearby shops. The restaurant has a fun, flashy ambiance with disco balls and quirky décor, including a cut-out board of Flavor Flav that adds a playful touch. Everything was very clean, from the dining area to the restrooms, which is always appreciated. There’s also an outside terrace, making it a nice spot to sit and enjoy your food when the weather is good. Overall, a clean, lively location with a great vibe and an easy stop while running errands or shopping nearby.

11/12/2024 1:49 am Having driven by this place countless times, and tonight happened to be the night I stopped by. I ended up being one of those last-minute customers who showed up before closing. At the drive-thru, I made a joke about being that guy, and they sounded sincere that I wasn’t a bother. I asked what one of the freshest items last made, and they assured me that everything was fresh. That being said, I ordered The 3 Finger Combo. Yes, it was fresh and tasty… and the girls were fast, friendly, and efficient. You can’t go wrong when your food is 100% at closing.

My food is always fresh and the workers are always friendly! Shoutout to the manager for checking on ever table and making sure everyone has a great experience and that the food was fresh! And thank you for the canes doggy for my daughter! That made her day!!

Drove to PS from Indio to check out the new place in town. I've heard about Raising Cane's, so I figured it's worth a try. Did not disappoint! The chicken is plump and moist. The menu is limited to a few items, like In-N-Out. But they do it 👍

Going to be honest right from the start, this review is a family review. I say that because me personally I am not wowed by the food. It isn’t bad and the service has always been good when we go, just for me it is mid. Personal taste. That being said, my four boys enjoy the chicken. We all aren’t huge fans of the fries but they are cooked right and taste like fries. So I think you can see where I am going with this review. We aren’t wowed but we also can’t knock them stars as they are doing what they do really well. We just prefer a lot of other stuff to Canes. In my opinion you won’t go there and be disgusted, or feel disappointed with the service. Those reasons are why they get 5 stars. I don’t rate on personal preference.

Good customer service. Although the chicken is scrumptious and the sauce is stellar, it is a bit pricey and not a great value.

They have not let me down yet!! 10 visits so far and counting! Their chicken is always fresh and tender. A lot of places overcook their chicken tender like all fast food places.. lol.. Customer has always been great to me. I gave no stars for atmosphere, because I go to drive thru every time.

5 stars, not because the experience was perfect, as my visit was a fail as my order was messed up, but 5 stars for the quick response to make it right. It’s fast food, it’s minimum wage, and everything is in a rush. Orders are going to get screwed up, and the one for my family did. On my next visit, I calmly explained the issue and was immediately given an apology and an offer to resolve it in a way that I was pleased. 5 stars for acknowledging the mistake and for a quick resolution.

I feel like the chicken strip sizes have gotten smaller across the chain, but this is my favorite Raising Cane‘s location. No one ever has an attitude - always friendly, happy, energetic and upbeat.. They don’t care if you forgot a menu item name or if you have questions , they’re helpful. Clean inside and out.

**The best chicken fingers in the Coachella Valley** We chose to park and go inside instead of waiting in the drive thru line that was a good 30 cars deep. After tasting the chicken fingers, I would wait in a line 60 cars deep! Yes, it's.busy and yes, there may be some things to work out... like any new restaurant... but the chicken fingers did not disappoint! Go with the expectation you will have a wait and make sure you order extra dipping sauce for the fries!

Go big or go home! Caniac combo all day but my son was only good to eat 5 out of the 6 strips so helped him out. Couldn't believe how fast our order was ready inside considering how long the 2 drive through lines were. Happy we are inside. So full! Lol

I been to Dave's hot chicken when came to cat city, wasn't impressed with the prices and no drink with a combo. Raising canes is so much better. Chicken skin isn't greasy, the combos are cheaper and comes with a drink. Service has been fast.

I was so excited to visit raising canes whilst I was in America and I am so glad this is the location we chose. The young girl serving us was great, very enthusiastic and sweet. We stopped here as part of a large, semi-organized group after a local youth sports competition. Despite being overrun by tired parents, amped up kids of all ages, and scattered locals just trying to grab a late dinner, the staff were extraordinarily polite and efficient and all the orders came out promptly and accurately. The food was delicious!

N

Consistently quality. Consistently tasty. Consistently fresh. What else would you expect from such a consistent chain? I have been to many locations in Southern California and none disappointed! The chicken is crisp and of good quality. The fries are great. The sauce is one of the best of any chain-specific sauces. And the bread brings the whole experience together! Will I go back? Absolutely I would!

It may just be me but, the chicken taste like a greatly improved version of KFC. The food is delicious! Also, the drive-thru experience reminds me of Chick-fil-A. Same parent company, Idk 🤷 doesn't matter, it's off the hook.

I recently visited Palm Springs for a 2.5-day vacation from Santa Monica and decided to check out Raising Cane’s, as we don’t have one in LA. I ordered the Sandwich Combo and the Three Chicken Fingers Combo, which come with a fountain drink and free refills—great value for the price! I paid $24.78 for everything, which I found very reasonable. The food was fresh, the chicken crispy and the portions were satisfying. This place is a solid choice for a quick bite with great flavor and excellent value!

This was my first time at Raising Cane's. I've seen these places popping up all over the place and have been dying to see what all the hype is about. From ordering to receiving the order everyone was extremely pleasant. I must say that everything was packed nicely with all the needed sauces. The Chicken fingers and Chicken sandwich were delicious. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. And, the Cane's sauce was addictively tasty. I look forward to coming again.

Visited late at night and the restaurant was surprisingly busy. Despite this, the service was very friendly and fast. The music was not too loud and the restaurant was clean and being maintained as customers left. For a chicken restaurant, I found the chicken fingers to be a bit underwhelming but by no means bad. Everything else on the menu was great, with the Texas Toast being a highlight.

On Aug.21 after 8pm I like to give a shout out to Andrew & Manny. They had a excellent 👏🏼 customer service. Andrew(believe his a mgr.) He told my son try mixing the sauce with the hot sauce they carry. O my it was delicious with the chicken. I'm not a spicy person but we all ❤️ it. Thank you Andrew 😊. They both had great service and we will continue coming back even though it's a 45 min. drive. It's worth the drive. Great job to you both. Thank you 🙌🏼🙌🏼👏🏼🔥

*Review is based on a Fast Food scale. I’d never been to Raising Canes, my cousin said it was a must-try, especially their famous sauce. •Service 5/5: friendly, helpful staff. •Cane’s Sauce 5/5: the rumors are true, the sauce is great. It’s like a peppery mayo, which I thoroughly enjoyed and understand why it’s so popular. •Chicken Sandwich 5/5: the chicken far exceeded my expectations! I was afraid of getting some greasy, fatty, salty mess, but thank goodness, this was far from it! Chicken was crisp, juicy, perfectly seasoned. The bun was soft and fresh, and crisp lettuce was an added bonus. *Pro tip: ask for extra sauce! •Fries 3.25/5: they’re ok, nothing special. •3 Finger Combo 5/5: my family ordered these with extra sauce, they’d had this before and knew it’d be good. •Overall: the quality of the chicken and how perfectly cooked it was far exceeded what I expected from fast food. I’d definitely eat here again and recommend others try!

My husband listened to a podcast about the success of this fast food restaurant so we had to visit from Canada. Place did not disappoint, I can see why the hype! Chicken fingers not overly deep fried, bun from the chicken sandwich was the best part, and sauce was good tasting. Their fries was also crisp and not too oily. Service was friendly. Didn’t come during busy time so was able to find seats no problem.

Very good place when you're looking for chicken strips made perfectly. Very limited menu options - chicken strips, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and iced tea, lemonade, and soda. The menu is basically various number of strips that you want. Made to order so everything is hot and fresh. Great service. Nice ambiance. Plenty of parking. Overall, a great place to eat.

Come here at least once every two weeks and usually receive good employee service. Typically kind and friendly but unfortunately as of recently I’ve had two bad interactions with a female presenting person with a beard and mustache facial hair. Never really met an employee here that seemed in such a bad mood. No thank you given, barely attentive, didn’t give me sauce that I had ordered specifically and gave me attitude for asking for it. Closes window in my face without saying anything. She’s he’s got to adjust their work attitude. ):

M
Me Simplicity

Just another "fast food" chicken joint. The parking lot entrance is somewhat chaotic with tight turns into the neighboring business along with a two wide drive-thru tends to gum up accessibility. They have their unique chicken flavor profiles so if that's what you want that's what you want.

D
DAVID SCHANHALS

I went to see what all they hype was about. The chicken was good, the tenders were kind of small in my opinion but still tasted good. I love the fries and wanted more Texas toast.

D
Danielle Danielle

Great quality of food as usual and Hot and ready but one thing I’m going to say is that is a bad location and the chaos with trying to get in the drive-through parking the traffic from Walmart the one way in One way out bad location, it was so intense and dramatic, there is a man directing traffic but it’s really a bad spot probably better going inside and eating the drive thru is a mess.

M
MrEdmonddantes89

It would be a five star but quite frankly it’s overpriced. I know that’s a corporate issue and not something specific to this location but it’s still running those prices.

D

Gotta love that Cane's sauce! Such a simple menu but they do it well. Seasoned crispy fried chicken tenders dipped in a spicy thousand island-like dressing. Yum.

I
Ice Qu

Food and service are 5 stars, for sure! Fresh and crispy fries and chicken fingers served by an enthusiastic, cooperative team in a clean and well run establishment. Why one less star? Because parking lot ingress (as in if you want to park and go inside to order) is almost impossible when there are more than a few cars in the drive-thru. It is just not a very good design, but hey, that may not even be their fault. Might be just the best that could be done in the space allotted. Anyway, we love visiting Raising Cane's for a fun lunch. Thanks for the goodness!

P
Pelumi Olaleye

First time visiting. Quick and friendly service. Conveniently located near Walmart and Starbucks. Some seats were dirty and I could tell the chicken fingers have been sitting because of warm like temperature compared to other locations that make theirs fresh and it hot off the fryer.

G
Greg B

I think of Cane's as healthier fast food. The breading on the chicken is much lighter than typical chicken strips, and the chicken is always tender. The dipping sauce has a bit of a zing and is really tasty. Their fries are good, but I usually substitute them with coleslaw, which is delicious. I even like the Texas toast. But I don't like when they sometimes forget to add it to the combo I always get. It's happened a few times, and that's the only reason for the 4 stars. For fast food, this place tops my list. Hopefully they'll add a couple more locations to the valley soon.

B
Brian W

The service was excellent: patient, professional, and polite. The chicken fingers were good. I don't know what I was expecting, but I didn't think they were out of this world good just very good. I'm not a huge french fries fan, and I think it was either french fries or coleslaw so I got the french fries and they were OK. I ordered the lemonade for my beverage. I think that mighr The The signature beverage, and it was very good. Like the Chicken strips, not out of this world good, but very good. I was finished with the lemonade in a few fast swallows, and I wondered if there were free refills since the lemonade was filled behind the counter. They answer to my two part question was yes, there are refills, but no, they are not free. The Refill for a few more slurps was $1.40. The basic meal I ordered, I thought, was priced enough that they might've thrown in a lemonade refill. The table is set up could have been wiped, but overall, the dining room was presentable. I will visit again. Very good is good enough for me.

Driving back into Palm Springs yesterday from a quick weekend trip to San Diego, I was so hungry that I stopped at Raising Cane after getting gas in the same parking area. Was I ever surprised at the speed and smoothness of their drive-thru service. Having never been there, I was amazed at from the time I ordered to driving away from pickup window was less than 5 minutes, with 4 cars ahead of me. Robots couldn't have done better! My chicken sandwich with hot, freshly cooked fries and sweet tea was on my ride home. The sandwich was delicious, though a little messy due to the size of it with 2 huge chicken tenders and the good sauce, huge! Not too enthused over drive thru windows but will return to RC's to experience an on premises lunch. I hope tomato/lettuce is available!

I visited Cane’s after hearing many positive reviews about their chicken, and I was not disappointed. Although I typically do not order combo meals because I do not drink soda, the staff was very accommodating. Manny kindly offered me a sample of their fresh-made lemonade, which was pleasantly refreshing and not overly sweet. I ordered the 3-piece meal, and every item exceeded expectations. The chicken was light, tender, and cooked perfectly without being dry. The signature sauce had an excellent tang, the crinkle-cut fries were crisp and well-seasoned, and the Texas toast was warm, buttery, and crunchy. The restaurant itself was clean, well-maintained, and welcoming, with a fun disco-themed décor that added to the overall atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Cane’s delivered on both quality food and service, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

I was a skeptic, how good could chicken tenders be? You charge for an extra dipping sauce? Whats this tiny slice of bread thing? I love Cane's! Its in the full rotation. Chicken, sweet and tender, not greasy or stale tasting! That slice of bread, oh my! Yeah its a little more money, but oh so much more in quality and taste. And its obvious by the problem to find a parking space in the small lot, but pro tip, the WalMart parking is just feet away and always available, and skip the trip around the Cane's parking lot, the spaces are too small anyway. Staff, very friendly. Sometimes scary friendly, one hello is adequate. Most of the staff really cares. They wipe the tables. Holly molly. Yeah, I am a fan, and I am now a regular. Lunch time is crazy there. Don't go the day before Coachella, you wont get in the door. Build more. Everywhere.

Awesome chicken fingers and Texas toast. The only issue why it wasn't 5 stars is that on my second visit the Chicken fingers were significantly smaller and not as juicy. I would advise to dine in and enjoy that fresh taste. Takeout here just doesn't do it justice. Staff was wonderful and don't forget the Sweet Tea!

First time eating at raising canes. I figured since they opened one close to home id give it a try. Drive through line was long so we decided to dine it. Wait time wasn't long as they were pretty good with putting out the orders. I stuffed my texas toast almost making like a hotdog but with chicken, sauce, and coleslaw. I say you get extra toast and fries. Make sure you don't skip out on your experience. Overall food was amazing and staff did a great job.

Decent place but if you hold up the drive thru line even if you only ask a question that'll take 5 seconds to ask, you can see them get upset that we don't move along the line fast enough. Basically they're in zero mood to do anything other than throw the bag of food at you.

If you ever wondered to yourself "Gee, I wonder what the most average chicken in the world tastes like." You should go to Raising Canes. It's fitting that it's right next to Walmart, the most mediocre store on earth. If you are ever stuck here, just remember there are worse places to be.

I don't understand the hype. The chicken was great, but limited sauce options for customers with a sensitivity to dairy. The staff shut down any inquiries quickly and made it clear ketchup was the only other option. The food tasted great, but it's hard to enjoy chicken strip without sauce options.

Mitchell Hennings

The chicken was moist and tender but bland. The sauce was okay but only one choice. The fries and toast were good the coleslaw mushy and need a more zing

Fries or extra salty, we couldn’t eat them, food is now expensive and so not eating half. The meal was a complete waste of money.

Chicken is usually fresh and juicy with an appropriate amount of batter for crust. But the fries are usually cold and hard or just going through rigor mortis by the time I open the container. Coleslaw is sour tasting next to Kentucky's slaw! Just tweak it! The service is good, the dipping sauce isn't the greatest flavor and their bread or toast is the best when its fresh!

In this case scenario... Where's the chicken? I found a slither of it. The chicken tenders have more bread then chicken itself. No wonder a picky eater would like these! For the amount you pay and wait, it's not worth it. But if your craving the Sweet Tea and their toast, I get it.

It wasn’t crowded it s a good location the food was good I would say it’s one of the good raising canes with good service and fresh food 🔥 I like how it wasn’t packed I got my food under 5 min

The chicken is great. Tender and moist, not dry like most places that deep fry. Get extra dipping sauce. The drawback for me is it’s a busy place and the staff doesn’t pay enough attention to keeping the tables and seats wiped down after previous diners have left. And it wasn’t just our table. It looked like a frequent problem.

Food is consistent in comparison with other locations. The staff is hit and miss with competence. Some you can tell appreciate the job and others seem to loathe being there. The left lane had more order takers therefor moves twice as fast which is frustrating if you're in the right lane. I won't be returning, I'll keep it the treat it always was at other more well thought out locations with much better employees.

It's always packed. I dont know why? The tenders are flavorless with no crunch. The sauce the sauce. It's all about the sauce. Yall focused on the wrong thing. You think people flocked to KFC for decades for the gravy. It's clean and the service is prompt and professional. I'd rather have Tower Market, or Alberstons, or Ralph's chicken before I spend here. My nephew enjoys it. Otherwise I wouldn't bother. The fries are good.

The chicken tastes fresher than anywhere else and although they fry it it’s not greasy and the oil they cool it in must be fresh because the chicken tastes fresh. The slaw is great, the “fries” are terrific and if you get the meal with the garlic bread that’s fresh and not over buttery or over garlicky.

In Palm Springs this particular Cane's is always busy especially during lunch and dinner hours. In this occasion I ordered two of the 3 finger Combos with extra sauces. Based off my personal experience, when ordering through the drive thru: #1) make sure your order is correct and complete before driving away. #2) do not allow the staff to hurry you. You are paying for a service so make sure you get what you pay for (at times they will already have another order at the window before you even get to drive away) #3)When ordering extra sauces make sure they're in your order (at times they come inside the box, at times just in the bag) make sure to check. (You are being charged $50 cents pero sauce) #4)Count your chicken tenders if you have any you will regret it if you Don't. If you dine inside be aware it will be highly crowded during lunch and dinner hours so make sure to anticipate yourself. Parking is limited in the Cane's parking lot so you might have to walk a bit. There has been instances where my soda is flat and the ice dispenser has no ice. Do not be shy and make sure to take your time to get in line to go ask for ice (and when given to little ice don't be shy either and ask for at least a half cup of ice they will count your ice cubes if they have limited amount) If your soda is flat make sure to get in line and ask them for soda personally they will and always have provided extra attention for this so just ask. Missing sauces? Just ask them ( particularly I think they shouldn't charge if they're Always missing sauces which you pay for) Nice hip & rétro looking dinning area . Enjoy your chicken! Anticipate that sodas have been flat for the last 3 weeks in the front dining room.

Chicken Fingers are a must here. The true standout. The chicken sandwich is good.....but the fingers ......they rock! Love they soda choices too! Really fun place to eat......esp on the patio!

The Chicken fingers here are quite tasty, but do not include any “secret spices” that I could detect. The best part is that they are very moist inside. My wife and Grandkids also stated that the sauc…

I must have been there at the wrong time. I ordered two box combos through the drive thru. The food was cold and the chicken-fingers were dry. They looked more like a serving of chicken toes! The fries were soggy. I have been there twice before but this was truly a disappointment. I spent 30 hard earned dollars on a rare treat of eating out. For this " I am raising cane"

I’ve never been. Remind me to spend my hard earned money on In and Out. Crinkle cut fries were crap. I ordered unsweetened tea. They gave me sweetened tea. So couldn’t drink it. The girl taking the orders over the microphone couldn’t seem to hear. She gave my name as Gabby. The food is so mediocre and over priced. Even the sauce isn’t good

I ordered 3 meals and all 3 the chicken had fat and grizzle. Couldn't eat meals.

This was my 1st experience and visit to a Canes 8-19-22 around 640pm ....and sadly I will bever return to this location. I ordered two sandwich combos and let the cashier know that I couldn't have seeds on the bun because of a medical condition. The cashier offered the Texas Toast instead of the bun so I got that. Also asked for fries well done for both combos. Low and behold the Texas toast also has seeds on it...I explained to the tall older gentleman that I thought was the manager whom was handing me my food the situation and asked if there was any bread with no seeds....he simply said "oh Noooooo" and that was it. No apology for messing up the order or for their employees not knowing the menu correctly. No offer to switch it to a different item ....nothing..... I took a seat and picked off all the seeds one by one and ate it...The only reason you got a second star is because I am fair minded and the taste of the chicken was good and fresh. The fries however were not well done like I asked for .....so they didn't do that either. This place needs a serious lesson in customer service management.....we were so excited to try you out....so disappointed. In my long life I have only not given 5 stars to a place maybe 4 times...but they earned thier bad rating today.

I come here all the time I love coming here, but as I was walking in to the restaurant, a young man bumped into me and told me to watch out I was able to read his name tag, and his name was Miguel. He was a tall than Hispanic boy with curly hair. I didn’t understand why the behavior but maybe this is just a type of people that Kane has working for them I feel like he or anyone there should have better customer service than this. I don’t appreciate it, and I don’t plan on coming back. I’m hoping to take this to corporate because the way that he treated me was not fair.

I went to Canes to get a 3 piece combo and an Arnold Palmer instead I was giving 1 1/2 good pieces and a nugget of another piece. Canes quality control at this location is lacking and I wouldn’t bother coming here to eat without checking your order. Next time I’m not leaving the drive thru line until every piece looks good. I hope to slow down your lines. Photos included my order with receipt and A Reddit showing to how much Chicken and fries Canes waste instead of hooking up their paying Customers.

I like this place but when I can't even order because my gift card (with $100 on it btw) declines multiple times and then I'm told they can't try anything else. I didn't have any other forms of payment and this was going to be my only meal of the day. Either train the cashier's better or put out a sign saying that you can't accept it.

Soggy food! This place has gone down hill! Used to be good. Staff serve cold old food. Not cooked fresh to order. It’s this location. Terrible. Tatted up women and her short haired friend beyond rude!!!!!

Never, ever have I gotten a correct order so ask me why I thought they'd get a Caniac correct?! No syrup in the coke, missing cole slaw, no sauce, 1 full can tender, on half, four little nuggets and maybe 20 fries. 😆😆 Can't do.

Just got home and opened my canes box very excited for lunch. Ordered 6 piece with coleslaw and only got 4 strips no coleslaw and only one sauce. Unfortunately you are to out of my way to go back so I’m stuck with this meal… do love your food but this is the 2nd time something like this happens. $19 for 4 pieces and a handful of fries is shameful.

***UPDATE: 12/22/2025 @ 6:30 pm *** I want to take a moment to recognize DJ, the District Manager, for his outstanding professionalism and customer service. I’ve been a loyal Raising Cane’s customer in Palm Springs since the location opened, and for years I’ve always purchased a gallon of tea made half-unsweet and half-sweet. A while back, a shift manager deja refused to sell it to me, so I reached out to DJ. He listened, understood the situation immediately, and handled it with care and respect. Thanks to him, everything was smooth for months afterward — even the store manager Ashley continued preparing it for me without issue. Unfortunately, during a recent visit today 12/22/2025, a shift manager named Leilani again refused to sell the tea and spoke to me with unnecessary attitude. When I informed DJ, he expressed disappointment that his prior memo wasn’t being followed and assured me he would address the misunderstanding. I truly appreciate DJ’s consistency, professionalism, and customer-focused approach. He represents Raising Cane’s extremely well. I hope the Palm Springs team can follow his example — customers shouldn’t feel like they’re dealing with the “tea police,” especially when the company should be supporting reasonable requests and making sales. Thank you again to DJ for setting the standard. Way to go DJ make that money it’s kinda crazy I spend spend $20 worth on JUST TEA. It’s a shame your young employees don’t understand business and money. The Original message: Little shift manager named Deja, it’s amazing that people cannot be nice. Customer service friendly. I’ve been purchasing iced tea from Cane‘s by the gallon. I go in in order have in half of the Iced Teas half sweet and half insweet and all of a sudden tonight little shift manager Deja thought she was the iced tea Police never before has canes or anybody at Cane‘s had a problem with a half and half iced tea. Will you know spending eight dollars almost for a gallon of tea you think any business would want that but today days I was The iced tea Police and I hope it makes you feel good to say no because that’s the only thing you can exercise authority on. I guess it never occurred to little Deja that you work at a fast food place hello
