We had an amazing time. The food was ssoo delicious, but the best part was the wonderful service we got especially from Oscar. He was friendly and went over the top to ensure we were happy!
My husband and I enjoyed a meal at Riccio’s on our first night in Palm Springs. We arrived at 6pm on a Monday and got sat right away. The crowd started to arrive shortly after. Our waiter was on point with the bread, drinks, and taking our order. We ordered the filet and the Paella. Everything was great and perfectly seasoned. We really enjoyed it here.
Old-school Italian steakhouse. Service is warm, inviting, responsive without hovering. Just as it should be. This is not avant-garde presentation but is comfort food, expertly prepared. Prices are very reasonable for the value. We'll definitely be back.
We came here last night to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. It’s a super cute little place with a classy but unpretentious vibe. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the employees and seated immediately. Service here was above and beyond — I forgot to take a coloring book for my 3 year old, and our server brought out some plain paper and highlighters before coming out with some cute printed coloring sheets for her. This was super kind! To start, we ordered Caesar salads, minestrone soup and oysters. The oysters served were blue points — nice and fresh. For entree, I ordered the filet mignon with truffle butter. The steak came with a side of rosemary potatoes and vegetables — my steak was perfectly cooked medium and so delicious. The meat was tender and the truffle butter was a great addition and brought everything together. My partner loved their chicken Marsala and my daughter enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. For dessert, cannolis were brought out for my dad and we sang happy birthday. We also ordered the chocolate cake and cheesecake — both were great although I really loved the cheesecake. The cheesecake was so good — well balanced and soft. Thank you to Riccio’s for a wonderful birthday dinner for my dad!
Great service and great food. Tried the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Filet Mignon. Good selection of beer and wine.
A wonderful dining experience! The scallops and salmon were cooked PERFECTLY and the linguine and clams were so flavorful and refreshing. Our server Oscar was absolutely wonderful and so friendly and kind. The tiramisu was so yummy. Grandma gave her stamp of approval!
This place has been around for years but my wife and I just discovered it, and we will definitely return. We had lunch on a Friday. The menu is similar to the dinner menu. I had linguini with clams and white wine sauce. It was delightful, plenty of clams and garlic chunks. Also it was served steaming hot which I appreciate, cooled off pasta is no fun. My wife had the soup and half sandwich combo, with clam chowder and chicken salad. She was pleased. We also opted for some dessert, the lemon sorbet was delicious and refreshing. I topped off my meal with espresso and Sambuca, a classic finish.

Everyone has a favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. This is ours. We love everything about this hidden gem of a restaurant. The food was super fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious from the first bite to the last. The owner Danny, bartender Hector, and the rest of the crew are like one big family who enjoy inviting guests into their home for dinner. Each night (three so far!) we shared a shrimp scampi app and wedge salad, which isn’t the typical quarter head of iceberg lettuce but more flavorful romaine leaves. I had the best grilled scallops (without the port sauce) I’ve had in years, Alex had linguini clams white sauce one night, red sauce the next. We both chose pasta dishes the third night. Did I say Riccio’s quickly became our go-to dinner destination? We tried other options in town but nothing worked as well for us.
Great indoor and outdoor dining. I had scallops which were perfect with perfectly cooked veggies. And the Cosmo was excellent with the extra pour in ice on the side.. My friend started with a Caesar salad which he said was very fresh then had fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. He said the sauce was very rich but delicious. Only 4 grilled shrimp though. Server was attentive and the manager (at least I think he was the manager) checked on us a couple of times to see if everything was satisfactory. Clearly a restaurant that wants its diners to be happy.
We walkwd past here for years and finally came in for dinner. Evwrything was amazing so now I wonder why we waited! Jaime was terrific. The calamari order is huge. Shrimp risotto could not be better. Steak was perfectly cooked and so tender it cut with a butter knife. Do not miss this amazing restaurant.
the minute you are seated the wait staff is extremely friendly and helpful!!! Excellent waiters!!! very comfortable atmosphere. fresh delicous food!! Filet fish and chicken dishes are fresh and delicous. Cheese cake and cannoli a must!!
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Riccio’s on October 7, 2025. Our first time there and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. The next time we visit Palm Springs dining there will be a must. Randy and Ellie Gieser

Best Italian food in palm springs. Friendly and professional staff, with an excellent menu. Also has the best Tiramisu we've had since Italy.

My husband and I enjoyed a very romantic calm dinner here! We loved every moment! Greeted at the door and seated immediately and our waitress was amazing! Food came out quick and was over the top! Definitely recommend if you are wanting a calmer dining experience or a date night!
I tried Riccio's — a restaurant new to me — last week with some friends. My first impression on entering was positive...loved the ambiance. I had the lobster ravioli, one friend ordered the filet mignon, and another had the chicken Riccio. For dessert, we shared the cassata cake. Everything was delightful. I’m not usually a red-meat fan, but I tried a bite of the filet mignon and was impressed. We found the prices reasonable, and our server (Hector) was both engaging and helpful. We all enjoyed the ambiance, our meals and the service, and we’ll definitely be back.
Great vibe and location. Ambience was amazing and gave a real Italian feel. Including the olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette with bread. My friends spaghetti was amazing. He said. Hit the spot and was exactly what he wanted. My fettuccine Alfredo was OK. Pasta was cooked correctly, but the Alfredo sauce was a little soupy/runny and very buttery. Not to my liking personally. But it wasn’t horrible. I would come again and try something else as everything else about this place was great.
I went and visted my bestfriend and we came to eat here. The food was very good and I specifically loved the ceasar salad. The atmosphere was nice and the vibe was nice. I felt very fancy.
The atmosphere was pleasant, good vibe. I think my waiter was Albert can't remember but he was impressive. Just the right amount of paying attention without hounding us. Definitely will go back if I'm in the area.
The clams casino was delicious but my pasta didn’t do it for me. I really like thick sauces and fresh noodles, so this didn’t do it for me. But the flavor was fantastic of the sauce. Lots of kick. And it’s if people do like thinner sauces so don’t rely on my personal preference. Aside from the clams casino being delicious, there is a big reason to go here. They have amazing prices on their wine. You can get a bottle of silver oak for $140. That’s unheard of at a restaurant. I would absolutely come back for appetizers and wine, but I likely wouldn’t do dinner again. Just not my personal taste, but other people love it. Riccio’s is definitely worth checking out.
The food was excellent and menu has plenty seasonal options. Service is slow, the restaurant is busy but overall we had a great dining experience.

First time visiting. Went on a Thursday afternoon around noonish. I had driven around down town Palm Springs looking for a good brunch spot but after 10minutes of searching for a parking spot and trying not to hit never-ending slow pace moving pedestrians, Google gave me the option of Riccio. It was perfect! Riccio had designated parking for their customers! Freaking amazing!!! Yes please! Walking in it wasn’t crowded so I was seated right away, my waiters were on point with my drinks and my food and the outside patio were refreshing and perfect to enjoy the scenery of beautiful Palm Springs. I highly recommend especially for first timers who just want to seat and eat already!
We dined as a group of four and had a very mixed experience. Unfortunately, several dishes fell short. One baked potato was clearly a day old. The replacement mashed potatoes were extremely runny — more like soup than mashed potatoes. The ribeye was very gristly, which made it difficult to enjoy, and the pasta was bland and lacked seasoning or depth of flavor. The salmon was also disappointing — overly fatty and not prepared in a way that balanced that richness. The Arnold Palmer was another letdown. It tasted like it was made with powdered mix (similar to Nestea). The first one served to me was so concentrated it tasted like it had an excessive amount of powder mixed with very little water. On a positive note, the halibut was excellent — well prepared and flavorful. The Mediterranean seafood dish was also quite good. Overall, while a couple of items were enjoyable, the quality and consistency across the meal were uneven, especially given the expectations for this type of restaurant.
Good service but food lacked flavor. Chicken Parmigiana sauce tasted like tomato sauce. That’s it, just tomato sauce. Chicken itself was fine. Expected herbs and perhaps some onion and garlic in the sauce. Likewise, the sauce for the clams and mussels was watery and lacked depth. Very disappointed.
The room is too bright. The menu, which apparently once had things like cioppino, linguine with clams, paella, and chicken Parmagiano, is quite small and limited. None of those things are on the menu anymore. The halibut special was dry. Service was perfunctory. Disappointed.
Disappointed by service and food quality We came as a family — two adults and three children — dressed respectfully and excited to enjoy dinner. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. We were greeted with strange looks by the hosts, which made us feel unwelcome. After ordering, we were surprisingly asked to pay the full bill before our food arrived — something we’ve never experienced at any other restaurant, especially after dining at places like Gordon Ramsay’s in Las Vegas, where the bill was double the price and the hospitality was outstanding. The total was about $350, and while we paid it without issue, the service felt judgmental and cold. The children’s burger was particularly bad — the patty was completely dry, something I wouldn’t even serve at home. We had hoped for a pleasant, family-friendly evening, but sadly this place fell far short of expectations. We will not return and would not recommend it to families.

My friend and I came from a steak dinner, service was quite and wonderful - the steak was not cooked as we asked. It was basically rare and seemed pan fried. We did tell the waiter but there wasn’t anything they could do to make it much better. Sadly we would not recommend this for a steak dinner.
