Our dining experience at Canela in Mallorca, Spain, was a memorable one, filled with both highs and a notable low. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the kindest and most welcoming bartender, Luis, who immediately made us feel at home. His warmth set a positive tone for the evening. Shortly thereafter, we were met by the manager, Magali, who informed us of a time limit on our dining due to not having a reservation. This wasn't an issue for us as we had plans to catch a show an hour later, so a quick dinner fit perfectly into our schedule. We were seated at the chef's table and met our incredible server, Camila. She truly elevated our dining experience by explaining each dish with extreme detail and passion. Her attentiveness and knowledge made the meal feel special and personalized. However, our experience was somewhat marred by the behavior of Magali. Despite being warned about the time limit, we overheard her instructing both our server and the kitchen to rush our meals, speaking loudly enough for us to hear each directive. This was unnecessary, especially since there were eight empty chairs next to us, and it made us feel rushed and unwelcome. We finished our meal ahead of the required time, but the rushed atmosphere created by Magali was unpleasant. Although she attempted to smooth things over at the end, the damage was done. Despite this, the rest of the staff, especially Camila and Luis, were beyond amazing and hospitable. The food itself was spectacular, showcasing the culinary talents of the chefs and the high quality of the ingredients used. In summary, I highly recommend dining at Canela for the incredible food and outstanding service from Luis and Camila. However, I strongly suggest making a reservation to avoid the unwelcoming behavior of the manager, Magali, which unfortunately tainted an otherwise fantastic experience. We look forward to returning, hopefully when Magali is not working, to fully enjoy the wonderful hospitality and cuisine that Canela has to offer.

In for a drink here but ended up having two drinks because one was not enough. Violet Fields and Aperol Spritz were neat. Luis and attendees were super attentive and friendly. Definitely my favourite now.

We had a wonderful evening in Canela, starting with the welcoming service, great atmosphere and of course tasted a lot of delicious Spanish tapas with a twist! ❤️ P.S Grilled octopus and Mango gazpacho are definitely a must try! 👌 Can’t wait to be back!

This restaurant may be my favorite restaurant of all time. It’s BEYOND incredible… from the food, presentation, service, cocktails to ambience. Our server was Daniel and he was very professional and knowledgeable and made sure we were taken care of all night. Highly recommend and to be honest this place should be a Michelin star restaurant!

This place is lovely. They have a relatively new chef who is outstanding. The ambiance wonderful for a date or a family or a large group. The food was outstanding. I wish I had taken a picture of the beet ravioli. It was one of the best dishes I've ever had. And it is not a pasta ravioli. The drinks were also excellent. Our waitress gave us plenty of attention and some wonderful food suggestions. Out of everything we ate we only thought one thing was not very good and that was the shrimp tacos. The flavoring was fine, but nothing exceptional. But the taco shell was lame. I was surprised because everything else we had was truly spectacular. The chef kind of does a little bit of a spin on a dish that makes it unique and flavorful. But not when it came to the taco. That's the only reason I took one star away. This restaurant is also located in a fantastic section of downtown Palma. You can walk around and get lost in the little street.

Our meal here was our favorite of the trip. We were really excited to try Spanish/Asian fusion cuisine and had a truly wonderful experience! We got the tuna tataki, zucchini flower, soft shell crab, grilled octopus, and the mango gazpacho. The flavors in each dish were distinct, and they developed and blended together in a subtle and sophisticated way. We sat at the bar, so we got to watch Chef Marcos and his team in action. He was curious to hear our thoughts on the food, and we enjoyed chatting with him. The staff were all very attentive and kind. It was an amazing dinner that made our stay even more special. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience!

We sat at the chef’s table, and I highly recommend this spot—it offers a fantastic view of the chef and his talented team working seamlessly together. The food was incredible, especially the steak tartare on brioche, which was my personal favorite. However, every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Congratulations to the chef and the team!

HEAR ME OUT !!! This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I’m not even kidding…I actually shed a tear because the food was that good. I knew it was serious the moment I ordered bread and butter… and it came with the softest, most delicate, beautifully shaped butter I’ve ever tasted. And I’m French, so that means something. Then came the signature cocktails? Perfect. Every single dish looked incredible and tasted like a full-on flavour explosion, everything was so well balanced. Like… cauliflower with white chocolate? Olives with vermouth jelly?? Beetroot and raspberry??? And don’t even get me started on the desserts… Everything was just perfect. The service? Amazing. The playlist? On point. I’m genuinely considering flying back to Mallorca just to eat there again. That’s how serious this is. Thank you for the incredible dinner. And to the chefs, I love you.

Wow! What a nice restaurant experience! The vibe & service were amazing! We got 2 starters and 2 mains and that was more than enough. The refined taste of the dishes and little twist it comes with it sometimes were very cool! We loved the sweet potato and the fish! Very recommending this place!

The staff is really friendly and the service was faultless. the food was lovely and full of flavors. Mediterranean Asian fusion tapas. I would recommend to seat at the bar to have an open view of the kitchen. Can’t wait to be back to try everything else on the menu.

The upstairs cocktail haven was a wonderful experience. Had some of the most creative and delicious drinks thanks to our mixologist Alba. Bartender would be selling it short, she is nothing but a true professional and a master at her craft. There were some cocktails she was still in the midst of perfecting to be able to place on the menu that she let us try however they were already perfection. Creative, elegant, balanced, flavorful cocktails! Beautiful gatsby-esque decor with a a wonderful vibe that made it feel elevated and intimate.
