The food is delicious, we can't wait to go back. Their salsa is fresh with just enough spice. The homemade corn tortillas are so soft. Service is okay. It's not bad. The atmosphere is pretty run down. The location is not the best spot. Definition of a hole in the wall restaurant, which means they have some of the best foods.

This place has real authentic Mexican flavor. I ordered a classic dish for breakfast “Barbacoa” and it was extremely good. You can tell immediately by seeing that they slow cook it in aluminum foil. It’s not greasy and it’s right at its best tender point. It came with a big consome (broth) plate and side onion with cilantro. The red salsa is on point since it’s actually hot and tasty. They also serve unlimited coffee if you are in need of some caffeine for your day. Do not forget about the HAND MADE corn tortillas, hard to find places like this. I definitely recommend this place, the service was 5 starts and the cleanliness maintained top notch even after having so many clients coming in and out, they are quite busy and no wonder why. Keep up the amazing and professional job Azteca, I’ll be coming back soon for some chilaquiles!

Delicious food, worth the wait, food was fresh. They have great birria, hand-made tortillas and the Azteca platter which comes with shrimp cooked 5 difficult ways. Definitely will be back.

Came in for some Menudo and was greatly surprised at how large the bowl is! Had more than my filling and I couldn't stop. The homemade tortillas added to the experience. Also the Huevos Rancheros was pretty good too. I recommend it for some good and quick eats

Best Mexican food! Haven’t had food that tastes home made. The mixed alambres I have to say is one of the best things on the menu. We arrived one hour before closing and never felt rushed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Nice little restaurant, very clean! Went on a busy Sunday morning and waited no longer than 10 minutes for a table. Ordered micheladas, very good! For breakfast our table ordered huevos rancheros and chilequiles divorciados, the huevos rancheros were the best. The only thing that was lacking was our waitress barely spoke a word to us and had an overall unfriendly demeanor.

The food was good, however we have little ones and wanted to enjoy an early dinner with them after a nice day. Having a restroom for guest's is important and for guest's with little ones is even more. My wife had to leave with two of our little ones to use the bathroom because it was closed. Very inconvenient, since we planned to have dinner together not separate.

I got the carne asada gordita and the meat was very bland. It had little to no seasoning the breading was burnt from the outside. The only good thing was the size of it, but for the $10 that's overpriced. I also got the carne asada burrito it was ok, the size was decent, but the meat once again was very bland little to no seasoning. Overall this was a disappointment since I saw some decent reviews before visiting and it looks like an authentic Mexican restaurant inside. But the food is not worth the blandness that you get.

A week ago we had lunch here, I had a asada torta with a side of rice and my husband had two handmade chorizo tacos and a hurrache, it was delicious, amazing we enjoyed our meal. Today we came back and it was horrible, we ordered same thing from last visit and the carne asada was horrible, they served us the nerve endings of the carne asada, like it had very little meat and the rest was chopped up nerve endings of the carne asada, it was unappetizing as well as you can't chew it, we will not be back, my husband didn't eat his hurrache, he did eat his tacos, they were carnitas, and I left half of the torta with the picked out nerve endings. We were not discounted and was very disappointed in the quality of meat, it was not like last time. The kicker is the cook said they have been serving this all day, and he was totally offended that we complained, we did see a few ppl come in to pick up orders, hopefully they didn't order carne asada because they will be disappointed as we were when they get home and find nerve endings and not meat in their carne asada. We will not be back again and hopefully this review helps someone else, beware of the carne asada. I even hyped them up on Instagram, it's a absolute shame. The pictures are from the first visit not this last visit which took place on 6/9/25.

Honestly I used to like this place but recently the food has not been great . I order a burrito de asada to go with veggies and they gave me veggies and the meat taste like it was boiled meat not cook how they normally do . And they’re very stingy with giving salsa. Only two small chiles . I would’ve went back but I got it before going to work . I was going to eat half before work but I don’t even like it . Won’t be going there for awhile .

2 stars for the employees the employees are not at fault for the poor quality food. They were all nice individuals. the food was hard to swallow and I can tell you a thing or 2 about swallowing! I like big things but this is big bad quality The environment was also really run down/cold this is the hallway to go to the bathroom I should not feel threatened when trying to look for a bathroom.
