⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Carnival Restaurant, Bahamas My husband and I decided to try Carnival and were truly impressed. Although the restaurant has been open for just about a year, it already feels confident, well-designed, and welcoming. The spacious green terrace offers a beautiful view of the bridge and yachts, complemented by a stylish bar and a large indoor dining area with modern décor and very comfortable seating. The atmosphere is relaxed, refined, and inviting. The service was excellent — professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. We felt well looked after throughout the evening. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the fish stew and fish tacos — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The presentation was elegant, and the tableware was thoughtfully chosen, adding a refined and cohesive touch to the overall dining experience. Soft music, the sound of the water, and the cozy ambiance completed a wonderful evening. We will definitely return to try more of their freshly prepared seafood. Highly recommended, and wishing the Carnival team continued success. Happy customer from Montreal, Canada
Good food, it has a Spanish/ Brazilian vibe. Lots of central/ South American dishes. Everything we got was good. Not knock your socks off but some of the best food we had on paradise island. Service was great; kind and friendly staff. The empanadas were my favorite thing we got. Fish stew was good and filling. Mahi mahi was nice and flavorful.
Carnivale was a wonderful surprise - food was fresh and the ambience was excellent. This restaurant is also a perfect choice for big groups. They apparently also have nights with live music. Would definitely come back.
Wonderful find! Such a colorful, upbeat atmosphere, right on the water. Our server offered excellent suggestions with warmth and wit. The food and drinks were delicious. A short walk from Atlantis resort, we will definitely be back!
Family trip to Atlantis. We made the short walk to Carnival, twice. The food and service is top notch. Price might be a touch cheaper than off resort but not much. Live Jazz music on the Sunday we're here. I would say go for it!
We had an amazing meal here, the red sapper was on point. We had a small hiccup paying with our Amex. Mark the manager was extremely patient and explained the process. Kudos to Mark for stepping up and being a great leader for his team. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Really good food and the owner was very nice. Lots of different selections to pick from. Didn’t like that they charge 12 dollars for fat water. Other than that it was good. Brand new restaurant.
We had a wonderful experience! Our food was all very yummy. We had the guacamole (kind of small portion for the price but super yummy), rojo vieja (also yummy), elote, rice and beans, quesadillas (a table favorite), fish tacos (perfect size and good flavor - ordered by 3 at our table), snapper ceviche (fresh with good flavor), skirt steak (great), grouper (excellent). We also had the red sangria (great flavor) and smugglers drink (husband favorite if you like whiskey). We stayed at Atlantis and it is a short, safe walk over! Great atmosphere! We unfortunately missed salsa night but would highly recommend the short walk over for something off property! Completely forgot to take photos of the food but the decor is lovely! They have a beautiful private room for large parties!
Five-Star Experience at Carnivale Bahamas! We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Carnivale! Our party of seven was impressed from start to finish — from the flavorful appetizers to the perfectly prepared entrées and delicious desserts, every bite was a treat. The food was fantastic, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Just a reminder — you’re on island time here, so relax, unwind, and enjoy the laid-back vibe. One of the highlights for me was spending quality time with my granddaughter, who had an absolute blast at the outdoor kids play center. It’s such a thoughtful touch for families and made the evening even more special. If you’re in the area, Carnivale is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
Really nice and helpful servers. The politest in the whole of paradise island. Chicken sandwich, mahi mahi, and vegan paella. All very delicious. The mahi mahi was incredible.
The food was truly delicious. The staff is extremely unfriendly. I can't explain why. Friendliness costs nothing and would double revenue.
Carnivale delivers! From Cameron, the general manager, to their wait staff and bartenders, I’ve never seen better service or brighter smiles anywhere in the Bahamas in the 15 years I’ve lived here. I’ve been to nearly every restaurant in the Bahamas, and Carnivale hands-down has the best service. As for the location, parking is a bit scarce. They have a beautiful setting and parking lot, but spaces are limited. If you’re here during a busy time, you might need to use the parking garage across the street, a short 1–2 minute walk. The grounds are stunning, located in an upscale marina surrounded by expensive boats and yachts. The bar overlooks the water and watercraft, crafted from intricately cut quartz that resembles gemstone-like material—think of those rocks sliced in half revealing beautiful, articulate crystals and stones. Look at the pictures; my description doesn’t do it justice. The rest of the grounds are beautifully landscaped with awesome outdoor seating for events, music, and more. Now, the food: the menu appears to be a work in progress, featuring a mix of Cuban, Bahamian, and even some Asian-inspired dishes. The general manager is constantly tweaking it, making it more unique and better. But how does it taste? It’s incredible, matching the exceptional service. Anyone who visits or lives in the Bahamas knows that incredible service is as rare as catching a marlin, and incredible food is as rare as winning a million dollars on a slot machine. I don’t usually take the time to write detailed reviews like this for a place I’ve only visited once, but let me tell you, it won’t be my last time, I’ll be a regular eating there, that’s for sure. I highly recommend treating yourself to Carnivale. They offer happy hour daily from 4–7 PM, a Sunday brunch, and daily specials. The menu includes very affordable dishes as well as higher-end options up to around $95, but if you’ve been to any upscale restaurant in the Bahamas, that’s a steal. This location, right across from Atlantis and Harbourside next to Margaritaville, outshines any other spot on the island for what you get. I’ve been to the most exclusive restaurants and hole-in-the-wall spots alike, and this new hidden treasure tucked among the yachts on the water is definitely a must-try. Enjoy!
Our server Rajiv was very friendly and helpful. He made recommendations on what’s good and did an excellent job following up to make sure our experience was great. The atmosphere was amazing. We went during lunch, but it had to be absolutely beautiful at night. The food was very tasty and my wife and I were both happy. We will definitely be going back again.
Patrick was our server. He was attentive and made great reccomendations. The atmosphere was relaxing next to the marina. If you are in the area feel free to stop by. It has parking so no need to pay.
Hands down the best food we had on our trip when we stayed at Atlantis. It is not an Atlantis restaurant so it is not advertised. It was a 2 minute walk from the Marina village and was easy to get to (even with a stroller!). The vibe inside the restaurant is so cool and fun. The outside area was very open and on the water. I got the mahi mahi and it was very fresh and cooked perfect. My husband had the burger which was huge and delicious. The service was great and our waiter was so nice. Definitely take the time to make a reservation here on your next trip to paradise island! It is a newer restaurant and they just opened about 6 months ago!
Great dining Not too busy you can walk in even on weekends. - clear ice cubes for drinks that’s huge - the sauted garlic shrimp is solid - art and stuff hanging around which is awesome. - kids games outside Skirt steak was fire
This restaurant is definitely a vibe! They have indoor and outdoor seating with an outside bar as well!! The menu did not disappoint. The staff was very courteous and attentive. It was our anniversary and they gave us dessert and a song!! Even when we thought our lil bootleg rental broke down, they were a tremendous help!! On our next visit, we will definitely make this our first stop!!
I dined her for lunch and enjoyed an amazing lunch. The flavors from my dish touched my entire palette from sweet to savory. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff was gracious. I would definately recommend Carnivale to anyone looking for something different, tropical and delicious.
Being new visitors to Paradise Island Bahamas and not wanting the whole Atlantis experience, we happened upon Carnivale. Happy Hour drinks and food were fabulous. Right on a beautiful marina with terrific sunsets. Inside, the owner, Billy, was kind enough to show us two price dining rooms which tribute Sydney Portier.
Absolutely phenomenal!! Ok so we have stayed at Atlantis multiple times and the one complaint we always have is the food at Atlantis is always meh, but let me tell you, the food at Carnivale is AMAZING. This is seriously the best restaurant on the island. We came with 8 people, 3 kids and there was something on the menu for everyone. Grouper prepared perfectly, pork belly, tomahawk steak, also we got the family size Paella and it was so good. We are definitely coming back!
Finally a place on paradise island where the food and ambiance matches the cost. After overpaying for mediocre food at Atlantis w. Bland surroundings and atmosphere, carnivale was an inspiration. We finally felt like we were enjoying an island meal. Bright colors, rhythmic music and fresh and tantalizing tasting food.
We have been at the Atlantis for a few days now, went to the expensive restaurants there and was consistent disappointed. Decided to walk over to to Carnival and I'm so happy we did. Best meals of our trip by far. The Peruvian chicken and Guacamole were amazing. Looks like I found dinner for tomorrow night too! I think the Paella is next up. Can't wait to be back.
Ok, Davard and Zane get a 👍. This place is awesome. The food is still a work in progress and they’re working on making sure the mains aren’t overcooked. That said, the tacos were AMAZING! You have to order all of the Taco Tuesday tacos. In general this place is fantastic! The staff is amazing, the General is awesome, can’t say enough good about this place! Definitely need to check it out!
Went on vacation and we had to stop to this restaurant and we went back a few times of how great the food was!
Recently dined out with my family of 4. Food was delicious, cheeseburger was delicious! Welcoming festive atmosphere. Our server. Andrew, was so nice and friendly. My son said Andrew was the best waiter in the Bahamas!!!!!!
Came in today to grab dinner and was surprised how beautiful this place was. The bar setting is amazing and Zane was even better! He was super attentive and just made our experience 100 times better!! Thank you so much Zane I’ll be back, I wish I discovered this restaurant before cause this is the last day of my trip. The mahi mahi and fried rice was 10/10 and so was the chicken wings! Don’t hesitate to check this place out!
We just ate at Carnivale with my family. This was the best restaurant we dined at in the Bahamas by FAR. I ate a delicious fish stew dish which had a terrific sauce. The waiter (Ron) was first class - he offered us a unique pepper sauce to try, he brought a lot of enthusiasm, and he took a family photo for us at the end. A++++ I strongly recommend this place to any families who are vacationing at the Atlantis resorts.
Great Tacos!! Came on a Taco Tuesday ate at the awesome open air bar. Had a sampler of all the tacos. All really good. The cheese taco and fish taco were standout. Service was awesome, the water-side patio is pristine
Been here twice since on PI abs it was great both times. Foodd is really good and the staff is great. Zale at the bar and Richard our server were both really good. I would recommend to anyone in the area.
Happened upon this place when my husband and I were staying in the Bahamas for a week. Came back twice! Food is great. Service was great. Live band was there the second time we went. Highly recommend!
I wanted to take my husband somewhere special for his birthday and someone recommended this place, I did not know what to expect. The first thing I loved about the place was the ambiance, we were greeted with a colourful landscape of tables and chairs and cutlery, beautiful-vibrant artwork plus the cutest smile from the hostess. Rajiv was our waiter and he did an excellent job, he set our expectations high describing the menu and he did not disappoint. We appreciate how attentive he was and how he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for my hubby's birthday. The food was really good, we didn't eat many of the shellfish or pork options on the menu but we didn't feel limited in our selections. My hubby said it was the best chicken sandwich he had and I think the lamb was cook just right. Props to the chef, Rajiv, our waiter and the bartender as my drink was excellent too.
We stayed at Atlantis which can be a bit pricey so we ventured outside of the property to the paradise harbor side. We found Carnivale what a delightful eatery on the water. The outdoor seating is spot on and they do other some music some nights. The menu has lots of Bahamian food choices which all were outstanding. Prices were reasonable as well, not to mention our servers and staff were super helpful and pleasant. Stop by for some good eats within walking distance of Atlantis resort you won’t regret it. You can also take in a sunset dinner, enjoy.
We visited twice on our short trip to Paradise Island. The food was consistently delicious, especially the apps/shareables! We enjoyed Taco Tuesday and tried a number of the foods offered. Sunday brunch choices looked great, though we opted for the lunch menu. This is such a nice space, colourfully decorated and the staff are wonderful. Sitting outside with a view of the marina and green space for kids is a vacation goal for sure! The owner kindly gave my kids cotton candy to go (“best night ever!” Says my 6 yr old). I was also offered a tour by the owner, it never happened but I’m so curious—- what would I have seen?!
Carnival Restaurant is a gem for anyone on New Providence, and absolutely worth taking the bridge over. If you are staying at Atlantis, it is a must. It is about a minute from the Marina exit, so it is an easy walk and a great option when you want something better than the resort restaurants. The space is beautiful and welcoming, with a spacious green terrace overlooking the bridge and yachts, plus a stylish bar and very comfortable indoor seating. The atmosphere feels relaxed and refined. It is also genuinely great for kids. Ours had the best time playing outside, and they loved the toys and the crayons and coloring, which made the whole meal easy and enjoyable. Service was excellent: attentive, professional, and warm. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the conch appetizers and the catch of the day. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We will definitely be back.
Highly recommend especially if you’re staying on Paradise Island. A short walk for one of the best meals we had during our whole stay. Beautiful atmosphere too with lovely paintings all around, a pretty courtyard, and a live band. Lots of kids menu options. Our food came a bit late and they offered us a drink on the house for the wait. Was a lovely atmosphere and the kids had their food so was no problem. The staff were really nice and very attentive. Really great service. Definitely go here! Oh also the burger with the lobster and pork belly was really good and the sangrias are delicious!!
Our family visited Paradise Island this past week and we found this gem and loved it so much, we went twice! The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. It is very close to Atlantis and for the money was way better quality for everything. We will definitely go back when we are in the Bahamas!
Taco Tuesday was amazing! Such a great deal and the food did not disappoint. The pork and fish tacos were absolutely fantastic. Huge shoutout to Zane for being an awesome server—super friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back!
The place is beautifully decorated colorful with a lot of painted by local - Bahamian artists The theme is Latin but there not much Latin food on the menu. I’ve asked for some tacos and the server said that I had to order that form the bar outside and not from the restaurant, however, tacos photos are posted on their Instagram account The three reefs is their most popular cocktails and it’s vodka with passion fruit juice, but the presentation of a pink cotton candy is what makes it spectacular Server was very friendly Please keep in mind that the posted prices do not include taxes nor gratuities. You will notice the final account is way higher than expected. 1 single persona (1 regular burger + 2 cocktails) for $77 dollars I’ve loved the playlists of musicians including Juan Luis Guerra from the Dominican Republic🇩🇴 It worth the try. I will be back with the team.
We didn’t like any of our food except the local catch snapper 2.5 pounder! It was great and had crab like flavor! The local draft IPA tasted like water. Service is interesting. They don’t argue with you and very polite but you have to double check. For example our prices didn’t match the receipt and they promised to make modification and then unless it turns into deal breaker they won’t honor it.
It’s a beautiful spot on Paradise Island in Nassau — definitely worth checking out. The food was decent, but there’s room for improvement: the chicken was overcooked and the churros were under. That said, we did get to see a Junkanoo band (a celebration of Bahamian culture and history), which was a really cool experience. Tip: There’s no self-parking on the island, but complimentary valet is available — just bring a few dollars for a tip. Also, there’s a $2 toll to cross the bridge onto the island
The only disappointment was that we were really looking forward to fish that day, but they said that the catch of the day, Mahi, didn't come in that day, but there was enough other options that we were able to choose another option. And, the service was great. We had a 2yr old w/ us and they were able to cater to our needs
Great environment for having drinks and appetisers while hanging out with friends. My best friend and I sat at the bar and were attended by Talon and Terry - they both provided excellent service. Talon served us most of the night and made us Whiskey Old Fashioned, Amaretto Sour, and, their house special, Three Reefs. The drinks were delicious and strong. We also ordered calamari and fries - they were delicious. Terry made us shots and a drink called Porn Star Martini - they were yummy. We were there on Friday for Happy Hour and then stayed for Carnivale Nights. I don't know what makes Happy Hour special as our drinks and food were not discounted, but okay. We enjoyed the trivia and music as the trivia host and DJ made it fun. If I was to go to Happy Hour again, I'd ask for clarification on what makes it so. Also, the menu prices are a bit on the high side - so be mindful of that. Nonetheless, we had a great time and I'd visit again.
This was an experience I will never forget. We all left starving. The drinks and the ambiance is however 7/10 but the food was extremely disappointing. I will not be going back and will never recommend. Someone was smoking directly beside my kid so I was not pleased with that at all. The price for the food was ridiculous.
The service was very slow and our waiter was not attentive at all. I ordered a fish sandwich that was a little above the size of a white castle burger, and it cost $28 before vat and 18% grats!
Food was mediocre at best. The margaritas tasted strange. This is my second visit with the same result. Beautiful property but their food was disappointing 😞
Ate here for dinner our first night arriving and it was incredibly overpriced and underwhelming. We got the seafood casuela, the chicken with lemon butter, guacamole, two Kalik, and a water and it cost over 150 dollars before gratuity. The water itself was like 15 dollars. Nothing tasted great. The guacamole was pretty good just a little underseasoned. The sauce for the chicken was so lemony that it was overpowering ; it also had spilt all over the fries and salad so they tasted like lemon as well . The seafood dish didn’t taste disgusting overall-very coconut milk heavy and creamy. However, some of the seafood in the dish (particularly the squid and mussels) didn’t taste fresh at all. The wait staff were very friendly and did their best—though the kitchen was incredibly slow in getting the food out (I should also note that we went there at like 6 on a weeknight and there were only two other tables). I would avoid .
The serving sizes of the food are so small and if you compare the restaurants in USA it will feel like kids meals. Taste is ok but it is very very expensive. Customer service and atmosphere is good but don't expect a satisfying food and experience here.
Our dinner was delicious, I had the fish Mahi Mahi burger. However our dinners did not come out at the same time and the restaurant wasn't busy. When we received our bills there was a 20% service charge then another 18% service charge. We should not have to be watching our bills for a scam. Beers were also $9.00 for a Sands. Buyer beware.
All our food was overcooked, the waiter tried his best, but our experience was very negative. We were a party of 8 and the last person received her food 20 minutes after we had finished our food. Wit all of this they took our two bottles water of the bill but charged us full service fee of 18%. Not a nice experience at all!
We were looking forward to a new experience to celebrate our birthdays but this was not the experience we hoped for. Started off with limited to no parking, we were served our beverages on time but waited nearly 2 hours for just appetizers and main course that never came. We had to leave to actually get food somewhere else. This restaurant really needs to get it together. I feel catfished from seeing their social media pages and what reality actually is with this place. I will never waste my time coming here or recommending anyone to Carnivale.
