The roasted avocado toast was the best I've had!! Highly recommend trying it, the toast was light and fluffy, the avocado mash was perfectly seasoned and the toppings were so uniquely tasty. Coffee and service great as usual. Chilaquiles were also spot on! Must try for breakfast!

Really nice shop and experience! Came here with a few friends on a weekday morning and it was a little busy, but our food and coffee still came out within 10 minutes. I ordered the veggie burrito and enjoyed it so much!! The oat milk latte hot was also tasty. I would come back.

In the running for one of the tastiest Latte’s I’ve ever had. Rarely am I completely satisfied with a $6 latte but this one was such a great experience. I ordered their Lavender Latte with Oat Milk and it was creamy and flavorful. It was super packed but the quality was not hindered. I’d come back in a heartbeat! Seating was an issue. It was crowded and I don’t think I’d get any work done in the coffee shop. Maybe a good place to chat with a friend and have a cup of coffee.

Innovative Constructions

This coffee shop was wonderful. Coffee and tea that we got was great and the environment was good as well. I would definitely stop by here again if I needed work done on my laptop or if I wanted some good coffee and tea and some pastries. The coffee shop is pretty large so there’s lots of room for everybody. Would definitely recommend Copa Vita.

I ordered a latte with almond milk. The flavor was great and the temperature was just right. Overall and excellent coffee to start off the day. Make sure to say “to go” or the default is in a glass cup and saucer. I’d definitely come back to try their other menu items. The interior is large with numerous areas to sit and bring a laptop.

Yü Wu

Copa Vida is a great spot to grab coffee and food in old town Pasadena. The store has a convivial vibe with ample indoor seatings that are great for friends meeting up or working by yourself, there are a few tables outside too. Coffee at Copa Vida is on point, but food is the key reason I come here from time to time. Their breakfast sandwich is fresh and tasty; the burrito is even better with flavorful mix of eggs, sausage, and hash in thin tortilla wrap.

The food was exceptional! Stumbled into to this place while driving through the downtown Pasadena. We saw a line that went out the door and couldn’t resist. - The french toast was a classic; fluffy yet crunchy on the sides, sweet yet not overwhelming, and it had such a beautiful presentation. - The bacon burrito was scrumptious; a hearty and flavorful delicacy. The arugula and the hash browns were a great pairing. - The Croque Madame was incredible; everything fit so perfectly. The tomato soup was probably the best soup I’ve ever had for a side dish.

This was a great breakfast spot to hit up early morning before heading out into the city. I was staying at a hotel nearby for a wedding and wanted to try this place out after looking up reviews. The restaurant is spacious and well organized with cute merchandise, coffee and teas for sale near the register. I picked up a couple of the glass Copa Vida cups for my iced coffee at home. I ordered the Chilaquiles for breakfast with an iced coffee. It’s was so good and not just because I was starving. It was actually really great food. Just the right amount of spices, delicious verde sauce and queso. I ate my portion and the rest of my partners order! When I come back home to Cali, I will be stopping by here for more coffee and yummy breakfast.

-1 star only because they charge $1 for milk alternatives, which is so backward imo. Vegan breakfast sandwich was delicious! Iced vanilla latte tasted great too. Plenty of seating, fast and friendly service. Bike rack outside.

Food is delicious! Coffee very flavorful and service outstanding. Only bad thing is the smell inside the place, it’s lacking some windows or better AC. Ask for Adam whom is the best employee there, he is always laughing and providing good tips of the food.

I have been a customer for years and have always liked the location and the general atmosphere. However, in recent times, the condition of the coffee shop has become frankly abominable. Every single surface is grimy and covered with dust and dirt. Even the shelves on which their merchandise is displayed have a thick layer of dust and coffee grains. All the chairs, windowsills, walls, and even equipment are dirty (please look at the pictures I have taken on the 8th of Jan 2026 ). I am not saying that they should buy new furniture or repaint, or anything like that, but to simply clean the place is well within everyone's reach, in my opinion. I feel like keeping the place in such a condition is disrespectful to the paying customers, who come to rest and enjoy their time, and instead see dirt everywhere they look. How the managers don't see it, I can't comprehend. Or do they see it and think it is all good enough, and the customers should be okay with this? Additionally, the condition of the place raises sanitary concerns. If the main area that customers can see is in such a state, what is going on in the kitchen? Is it even safe to eat here? Maybe it will be worth my while to file an official complaint with the Environmental Health Services Division. Basically, I would recommend avoiding the place until they adopt a different attitude to sanitation to avoid potential health issues and spoiling your mood. I feel strongly about the places where customers pay money to uphold at least the bare minimum of cleanliness and respect for their customers.

The place has bathrooms that are worst than truck stops and smells of sewage even at tables by the front window like someone peed on the floor. The staff may be rocking out, but the sound level is loud with speakers throughout the place The size of drinks is 12 oz. and lfot arger common espresso drinks like americanos or lattes you simply have to buy two Looks nice, but I would not recommend!
