Great spot for a quick delicious bite. Food always tastes fresh (you seem them cooking it right there on the grill, not just sitting under a heat lamp). You don't feel bad after eating it either (like some other fast food spots).

I like this location because the staff here is quick and the chicken is always on the grill already. I've noticed with other locations it could be a 35 min wait but not here. The location is in a shared parking lot with other businesses adjacent to PCC. Will definitely return.

Just had the Chipotle Chicken Burrito Combo (came with chips, salsa, and drink). Also had a Crunchy Taco, $15 bucks and change. They also accept EBT. The meal was great, I am most definitely full. Well worth the dough.

This place was great. I ordered the 5 dollar nacho combo and it was done and bagged before I even had my drink filled at the fountain. The cashier was nice and it looked like the manager was finishing meals on his own. They were fully staffed even with one man taking a break. There is no drive through and I prefer going inside. Very nice

We put in a large order from this El Pollo Loco location for an employee thank you luncheon/combined with a memorial service at an assisted living facility. It worked out great. I chose to order by phone with the manager. The process was easy and he had helpful suggestions regarding quantity for 50 people. Everyone had positive feedback - the food was delicious!

Pretty great. The location is pretty always solid. The app is bad which can make certain situations kind la difficult and time consuming. But the staff is overall very very good. The managers get the job done, very professional, and the cashier's clear issues quick. The cooks get down and would definitely recommend this location. Just make sure if you want a chicken meal or chicken in general you get there atleast 8pm. Literythe minute after they stop making chicken. You can order other items but if you came for a say $20 family meal. Could be all bad. But great location in all hours of operation.

The restaurant is a small place in a strip located near Hill and Colorado Blvd with few employees. The service is quick when I walked in. Parking is a bit tight so make sure to go there during non peak hours. One good thing about the location it is within walking distance to other popular food chains including a Boba place next to it. 😝

I walked down 7 blocks to go there because the parking is not the best. I picked up the classic taco salad, which was good, however I would have like their house salsa, but they only had the pico. Disappointing.

I really like the food at most of these places but it seems since the pandemic their food and service has deteriorated. Not as good as it should be. But I do like their food most of the time. Service is always great along with the parking.

New, 5/9 better everything today, plus I had $5 coupon Loved my meal but the avocado salsa and Pico had a super short shelf life almost rotten. I guess you have to be careful in the heat.

Great spot for lunch - they have $5 combo meals. I highly recommend the double chicken avocado salad. This place is also good if you're too lazy to cook like me and want to pick up some quick dinner. I always found El Pollo Loco chicken to taste better than KFC.

The food is great, the prices are good, and the best part... The staff is always friendly. Again, I like the area... But people need to chill. It's only a salsa bar, and it's for everyone! Enjoy

Good quick service and good deals. Tried the new nachos and they're pretty good. Double-chicken pollo bowl is still my current favorite here. Parking is always dicey here.

El Pollo Loco is located at 1449 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena California 91106. It's in a small shopping area that has about three or four stores. It is located near the corner of Hill Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. It is also adjacent to Pasadena City college. It is very popular for lunch and dinner. Students as well families in the area frequent this location. This is a no frills fast food place. Food is always consistent when I have been there and ordered for takeout. There is a small seating area for customers who decide to eat inside. Walking is the best way to get to this establishment. The staff was helpful and friendly when I was there. I appreciated their help as there were a lot of items on the menu. I decided to order Spicy Chicken Nachos, double chicken tostada salad, Chipotle burrito, and 5 piece chicken à la carte. After a short wait the order was completed and I was on my way home. When I got home I was pleased that everything had been packed very carefully. I was eager to try the chicken pieces first. The chicken was good with great flavor and was moist. I even enjoyed some cold the next day. The double tostada salad was filled with chicken pieces and a great selection of lettuce, tomato and spices. The tortilla bowl was crisp and tasty. The Nachos had a nice flavor and spice. I did add some salsa as I was eating. The Chipotle Burrito had a nice flavor was more than one meal. There are other items on the menu that I intend to order the next time I'm there. The chicken bowls, the chips and guacamole are top on the list. Worth the price. But it's definitely a takeout type place.

Very nice staff and you get your order very fast. The restaurant is clean and many seats. Over all a good place to get really good chicken.

It was ok. I'm visiting from out of town and tried the double chicken avocado salad. The chicken was dry and the amount of lettuce was way too much that the other ingredients seemed minimal.

Food was old , dont go into the restaurant 30 before closing because they will sell you old cooked chicken or recooked hard chicken.

Good food, friendly staff, clean dining room, but both restrooms are nasty. They need deep cleaning, better lighting & ventilation. Also, the shared parking lots is very small & always crowded. Try parking nearby on one of the side streets instead.

3 stars for food. But not clean and poorly managed. Same condition, did went to this one 2 years ago. They need to focus on cleanliness. Today there was a bad smell near fountain drink

Foods good. Waits long and orders always wrong (cold slaw instead of Side salad) Told me if I wanted lemons I had to park and come inside and get them myself. I drive too far for this!

The problem with this chain is that the CEO and the rest of the management team don't get it yet. The chiquen is tasteless , nothing out of the extraordinary, but sometimes they come up with a good idea to spice it up, like the chicken enchilada, but it doesn't last long, and many times they have nasty ideas like the queso fresco tostadas that thanks God also doesn't last long. I picture this company with a bunch of but kissers telling management the idea is good, but how about doing more research to find out what people really want????. Or Pollo Loco is what the name says, "Loco".

Bad parking. I would think twice about coming here in a large vehicle. Inside it is set up kinda like a cafeteria. Not many windows and not very welcoming. Food at the one time I was there left something to be desired.

For good, however, workers suck. They don't care how you feel or what you want to order. It's like hurry order so you can get out.

This is the worst Pollo Loco or chicken place I have been to. The chicken is overcooked and dry and he has a classic chicken burrito special because the chicken with rancheros sauce is supper dry all chewed up texture and not fresh tasting. Check your food. The quality is well below other Pollo Locos. I wish I had since I was afraid to eat it plus it's all dry and crumbly.

Never any parking. I paid forty dollars for a mixed chicken family meal and got the smallest pieces I have ever seen in my life. Literally I have bought wings that were bigger then the legs at this place. I will not return unless my pregnant wife makes me go.

Do not bother with this location after 10pm. Currently working on getting the hours listed here changed. Their exterior sign claims to have a drive thru open until 11pm but they clearly have no space for one. Employees that were visible just shrugged and said they were closed.

Rise was old and hard . Chicken don’t taste fresh ….. I call and they say they would give me a discount for next time , It wont be a next time !!!!

So even though I was extremely kind and polite to the staff. They gave me some cold chicken on my double chicken tostada bowl. Not only was the chicken cold. But it also had lil hairs all over the plastic top. Very disgusting. Never coming back.
