We've been going & ordering from this Ihop location since they first opened their doors. Are they EXTREMELY busy? YES! Do they seat us, crank out our in house or take out order as fast & efficiently as humanly possible? Again, YES! MacDonald's doesn't come close to the quality of IHOP's food but if you want faster try there.
I called today late at night after placing an Uber order so I could customize it. The phone was answered quickly and the lady who answered was very pleasant and kind. Excellent manners. She even gave me extra syrup. Never been treated this nicely by an IHOP employee; she deserves a gold star :) 🌟 💫 ⭐️
It was wonderful to visit with an old friend while enjoying breakfast. The staff is both caring and efficient. Both of us enjoyed breakfast combos that were exactly how we wanted them prepared. We were able to stay and talk after our breakfast, and our waitress continued to keep the coffee coming. Thank you!
George on the overnight shift at the Silverlake location was wonderful. He was the cook and the food was yummy. He was also our server and was so nice! Didn’t disappoint coming in at 4am. Thanks Jorge’ !
First time visiting this Ihop and must say we had such a pleasant experience. We were greeted with a warm smile by the hostess. Our server Maria provided exceptional service. She was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. Our food came out hot and fresh.
Always a decent place to go for breakfast lunch or dinner service is always okay it could be a little better and the atmosphere is okay for what the restaurant is giving I mean you have elderly people who come and eat I take my kids there late night so it's more of a relaxed family breakfast dinner type of spot!
After running early morning errands, I ordered a special breakfast to take home for the love of my life. The food is packaged perfectly - it was a hit!!

Our family visited this IHOP location in Pearland on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, immediately after Hurricane Beryl, and we received 5 star service from the manager, Jorge, and Chef Carina. Jorge was working the floor all by himself, and people just kept coming into the restaurant. Jorge took care of everyone like a true professional and kept a smile on his face the entire time. Not once did he appear to be under pressure in spite of all the patrons. Moreover, the food was fresh and delicious, and our family was so grateful for the outstanding work the limited staff provided. Jorge, you and your staff deserve the highest recognition from IHOP for your dedicated service and professionalism!

I haven't been to IHOP in quite some time. I came in for a meal after my long shift at work and Miranda made this experience absolutely wonderful. Being in customer service, I am a big stickler on good customer service. And she displayed every top quality that I look for in a person. She was very friendly, made great suggestions, and made sure that my dining experience was no less than top tier. She gives me a reason to come back to IHOP again and again and again.
I haven't been to this location in a long time. They always had a steady flow of customers, but the service always felt rushed. Something has shifted. This morning (a busy Saturday) was a lovely experience. We got seated fairly quickly. Drink orders were taken right away. The manager came to check on our table to make sure things were good. Our server was kind and didn't seem flustered or rushed. She took our orders and remembered all our extra asks. The food is always reliable. This was one of my best IHOP experiences, and I have been an IHOP loyalist for decades.
I was there to meet someone who was running late. I had coffee with a quick side of pancakes. My connection showed and so left after only drinking part of the coffee the waitress brought to table. At checkout i was offered coffee to go at no additional cost. I appreciated that. Was my first time in an IHOP but will go again.

We went during off peak time so super quiet. Service was good and so was the food. Appreciated during the rough day we had.
We are so glad we gave this location a second chance. The food was exactly as pictured in the menu, and it was delicious! Our server, Ricardo, was attentive, friendly, and had a heart for service.
Everything was great server was awesome. No major complaints other than when I arrived it looked closed. But I enjoyed I was there alone and it was peaceful and quiet till a family arrived with a screaming fussy beautiful toddler. lol then my peace was gone cause they sat 1 table away from me.. then my meal arrived.
The same person who sat me took my order and brought my food. It seemed like maybe a couple of folks weren’t taking care of business, but Jenifer stepped up and took proper care of me—for which I was appreciative. She’d said my server would be with me, when she sat me, but after a while she just came back and took my order. She ended up bringing my food too. She exhibited a great energy, positive vibes, and didn’t have to repeat myself. Also, she checked on me at least three times—something I haven’t seen at IHOPs in my last dozen or so visits. Whoever was on the grill today did a great job with my eggs over easy, crispy hash browns, and medium sirloin tips 🤌🏾 🤤 This was my first time at this location and it was pleasantly satisfying. It’s not often I give a restaurant 5 stars, but Jenifer earned it!
After the show from NRG stadium, seeing Reda. We came here to get something to eat. Both of us were very hungry. First thing you notice is the place is very cold in temperature and I love that! I'm a very warm body, so I love it cold. The service, I believe there were only two ppl working that night. One host/server and one cook. But they did a incredible job. The food was great too, I ordered the spicy poblano eggs benedict. If anyone wants to know, it's not that spicy. Just fwi. I love heat to my food and my girl (which doesn't like heat) probably could have eaten that. Just add hot sauce if you need to. But overall, our experience was very great here and I would love to come again.

During my frequent visits to the IHOP restaurant, approximately three times per week, I noticed a recurring issue with the manager regarding my seating preference. As a solo diner, I prefer the corner table for privacy and comfort. However, upon requesting this specific table, the manager would display annoyance and insist on seating me in the center of the dining area, surrounded by other customers. Due to this unpleasant experience, I decided to discontinue my patronage of the IHOP and instead opted for Denny's, a restaurant located a short distance away. The service at Denny's was satisfactory, with one exceptional server and the others providing average service.
I like the fact we went on a slow day and hour. The food was good and hot, and the waitress was very nice and punctual with our drinks.
Ihop may just be one of the most criticized chain restaurants that i have heard of, and there are some bad ones, but the Pearland location is consistently good every time we go. We live much closer to another location and come to this one. Keep up the good work and friendly service!
Food was excellent! I would recommend the steak 😋 we were seated in an area where there was water leaking from the ceiling. I advised them and we switched seats. Then, the next family was seated in the same booth. Get it together peeps!
Server was very attentive for it too be a holiday. Appetizer was served before actual meal like asked . All servers should have all condiments on table once customers have placed order. When a customer has to wait on ketchup for hash browns it takes away enjoyment of eating with family.
My family and I came in on this passed Tuesday morning, the 26th, and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by what I have to assume was the manager, there was no name and she didn’t give it to us, but she was great! She took us to our seat and let us know someone would be with us shortly and not soon after our server Kenna came. Now she was amazing too!! Our food came out hot and Kenna was very nice and timely with refills and just asking if we were ok. The one who I assume is the manager, was there singing along with the songs while cleaning off tables, even stopped and asked if our dining experience went ok. I just want to say it was a pleasant morning out for breakfast. Thank you IHOP, Kenna, and Ms. Manager!

Food was ok at best, service not so great. Some things came out wrong, and we got ignored for quite a while. (Not just us, other tables too)
Initially, when we walked in, it was relatively cool. We were seated under an AC vent, and it got cold fast! We noticed plates got smaller, and the food shrunk too. Service was ok, waiter never came back for refill orders and the toast came out not buttered with no jelly offered. Hard times hit for sure.
The prices have gone up BUT the portions and quality have gone down! My husband bought me breakfast for my birthday today. He got home and still decided to cook fresh bacon for me because the slices that came with the plate were beyond thin. They were so thin, it looked like they sliced 1 piece in half and called it 2. Prices up, Quality and Quantity down!
This IHOP location is great, but in the mornings it gets way too packed and loud to really enjoy. Service usually isn’t as good then either and it’s hard to get refills or check-ins. At night it’s a totally different experience. The servers are attentive, super sweet, and you can tell they actually care about the service they’re giving.
Was crazy packed but there were like 4 servers just standing and playing around behind the counter and we could clearly see our food in the pass. We kept looking to attempt to get their attention but they just kept ignoring us. We finally got a more seasoned server as she was passing to call for our food and server. Our server seemed overwhelmed because she was working several sections. Took us another 20 minutes to get check & Togo boxes. It was 1/17 Sat. 10am.
I can only start at the beginning. I walked in the door and a man at the desk looked up and asked me "what do you want". I was floored. I sat and observed interaction with this guy and guest that were of African decent. Won't be back. Pancakes were not cooked completely in the center. Eggs tasted like powdered eggs.

Poor customer service. Unusually long wait time for a breakfast for dinner night. The restaurant was fairly low with customers at 7:30. I see why! If the waitress would not have been on the closed side of the restaurant on her phone , our eggs may not have been cold.
Food was okay. We found sugar ants crawling on the wall and table of our booth which destroyed any semblance of any positive feedback I can give. I understand it was during one of the Spring Breaks, however, cleanliness and customer service should never be compromised.

Multiple times we have come to do a curbside pickup order and something there is always wrong. We waited over 10min after checking in on the app; call and finally he the manager who brings out the food and when we check; its missing something so we have to wait again. By the time we get home the food is soggy and cold. It's ok if it was only once but 3 times.
Me and my boyfriend came out for veterans day and while waiting, the host avoided us waiting and decided to take the people behind us. Which was rude from get go. We got our food cold! and late! This has to be one of the worst IHOP in America, we ordered shredded beef tacos, coffee cake pancakes and fries and the typical eggs and hash. The tacos were so greasy it was like a poor man's attempt at birria tacos. The pancakes rip apart like a worn shoe with sandpaper sauce. The fries might of been hard enough to border your windows for hurricane season. When we called for a refund, we were told by the "manager" that only the GM can issue refunds. Needless to say I'm from now on riding down Broadway from this point on. Silverlake location is terrible.
They can improve by not forgetting people's order and not taking about 2-3 hours when we ordered please please don't forget our order again and please improved.

We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes, and we never got our food. The waiter gave us the excuse that the system had crashed and the order wasn't submitted, but me and my friends kept seeing ppl coming in and leaving the place and they were getting their food before us and we just decided to walk out because the customer wasn't good at all this is my favorite ihop and I got a bad experience already!!! At least 6 ppl got their food before me and my friends, and they had just berly ordered. It seems to me that the waiter had forgotten about me and my friends!!!

I was charged for the food the never came to our table. The waitress intentionally try to hide the charge from the receipt by folding the recipient. After I figured out what she did, she already charged my credit card and told me that her manager will refund the difference and I will see the credit back in a week. This is already a month now and no refund shows up.
The food took over 20 minutes to come out and when it arrived it was cold. We decided to not eat and we left.
If I could have given a zero I would have. HORRIBLE SERVICE Dulce is the rudest and the managers do not intervene to make their wrong right. It’s as if they think they are doing you a favor instead of realizing people coming pays their salary helping them. DO NOT SUPPORT OR VISIT this location. Service is very slow, but some of the staff are polite. The restaurant isn’t very clean and there were roachs around our table and bits of food particles on the utensils and inside of the beverages/ cups. The manager isn’t very polite she didn’t come out to meet us and from what she told the server to tell us seems as if she had an attitude. We chose to leave without eating any of our food it was not the best way to start the day. I would not come back to this location and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else just by how unfriendly they are and how dirty the place is.
The worst restaurant! Customer service is horrible and it smells like sewer every time we go there. I left my debit card there valentines night after trying to eat there again because it was late and we just wanted to grab something quickly, but again couldn’t because food was horrible and smell was awful. However the server was okay this go around. But when trying to call once I got home and noticed my card was not in my purse, no answer. I waiting until the next morning 2/15/2025 to call to speak with a manager about my bank card being left, first the manager on duty did not want to get on the phone and told a server to tell me she would text the manager from last night. I stated that I wanted to speak with the manager. Finally the manager gets on the phone and tells me that she was told I left my card but there’s nothing she can do!!! I asked Do You Not Have A Lost And Found For Customer Who Leave There Bank Cards? She replied yes but if we do not know that you really left it, why would I go look… this is why I have to wait for the night manager to call me back! I said oh wow 😮 do you think I’m calling just to call. As I continue to explained to the horrible manager on duty, she says let me go look! Not even 30 seconds later a young lady gets on the phone and says we don’t have it! I said you went and looked that quick , the young lady said… That’s what my manager told me to tell you! I said oh wow let me speak to the manager, the young lady hung up and stop 🛑 answering my call. Beware of this place and its employees 😡
Me and my friend went today we was seated at 5:32pm. We waited for our server to show up he did not show up to take our order until 5:46pm. It turned out to be the young guy that seated us. He never introduced himself he just simply said "oh yall ready" and that was after disappearing for 14 minutes. We than ordered out food. Here is where I should add we were the only people in the restaurant. We then watched as our food sit in the window ready to be served for 8 minutes our server no where to be found. He only popped back up once a family of 4 and a to go order came in the door. We than had to wait for him to sit the family and server the to go orders before we got our food and while serving us he coughed on my friend food. Here I should add we never got asked for a refill or asked if everything was good we were never checked on by our server he was nowhere to be found. It was until the family of four started asking for a server is when we seen him again and still no check in with our table. Once he served the family he was gone again. Me and my friend finished our food and sat with out empty dishes piled up waiting for the check. We both had to get up after 20 minutes of waiting to ask the kitchen staff if they knew where our server was. After that he showed up and again said "oh u ready". We said yes and I then asked if there was a manager on duty he never responded walked off than came back printed out our check and waited for us to pay and gave us our receipt and walked off to God knows where. No manager showed up and I found his name on our receipt. The whole meal we never knew his name. His name is Kayleb W. This was the worst experience I have ever had at this location. I always have a great experience but because of today I do not think I will be back. I don't know what type of training this young man has had be he need to be trained again because for the place to be empty it was no reason service could not have been better.
There is a lot wrong with this location, untrained staff and management. Salty food with human hair in it, dirty table and chair. I called the guy at the door to fix the chair, he did as if he doesn't care. I showed the lady that attended to me the hair in the pancake, she called the manager and he/she never showed. It was a bad and trauma breakfast.
Is this IHOP GOING OUT OF business? Place was almost empty but no sitting allowed and food was bad. We went there June 9th at 10:30 pm and no sitting allowed because no waiter. There were only 7 people sitting. Only allowed to take out order. We ordered 2 Spicy Pavlanos togo and only got two tea spoon of meet in our Pavlanos. I have the order receipt. Manager was not available. My family and I have been coming here 7 years now and 20 years in IHOP and never seen this kind of low quality service and food. If they don't change the manager or owner of this place we may have to think switching to Denis or Waffle House.
Will never ever go to a IHOP again! My family and I came at 1am or so to have a nice warm meal. Since with had family emergency all day, all we wanted is to find a restaurant and seat down to eat but as soon as we walked in, we were stop and told that in a hour they were going to close. Togo only! What happen the open 24/7??? Is this the new way IHOP runs it's restaurant? "IF WE DONT WANT TO WORK LET'S TELL THE CUSTOMERS WE'RE CLOSING" IHOP do something about this! Came in to pickup an order, 15 mins after it should have been ready. The hostess said it wasn’t ready yet and another lady said they’re new and they don’t know how to cook and the cook just arrived. Why is a restaurant open without a cook on the shift? Worst of all the cook wasn’t even wearing a hair net and it looked like she rolled out of bed. Terrible and I won’t be back.
I was in IHOP in Silverlake in Pearland. and we waited 45 mins for our food and they just made our food. The manager said our food order was just put in 29 mins ago. And then when we finally got our food. It was 6 people and 1 person didn't get their food at all. So the manager said he wasn't charging for the one meal and that wasn't the problem. The problem was the customer service and us having to wait for our food and it still was correct. Everybody will be finished eating before I get my meal. Nobody meal was correct. We are so frustrated. I have never seen this before
So there was a lady named Miriam V and she gave the wost customer service ever . She kept getting my vanilla foam ice coffee wrong. Also , she gave it all bitter and watery worst experience . Her name was Miriam V she needs to get fired

Unbelievable... there's a picture with the hours on the door. This server informed me that no one else is inside so he going to wait until 6 to open the lobby... I'm also not the only one who got turned away. I would've rated 0 stars, but you have to get one for a review. Do better Pearland IHOP.
When we walked in all employees was standing around each other talking . Never greeted us after 5 mins I started talking crap on how trashy this place is. Rude employees, never will come again to here. Floors are dirty as hell trash everywhere.
Terrible experience. We were never attended to, and they were cleaning the grill with smoke trapped inside the restaurant. The staff were all teenagers focused on chatting with each other. We left the restaurant without them even noticing us leaving. Never have I've been so dissatisfied in my life.
I came to the Ihop as it was already my last option to eat because I have had bad experiences here before but hey thought I give it another try. Low behold it was the worst and after being seated no one came to our table. We sit for about 5 minutes and this server came over cleaning off the table next to us. I ask her was she our server she said no and I didn’t realize they had gave me a table. But wow! You see us just sitting here. Finally she say I will take your drink order and go find out who your server is. Well she came back as our server and took our order. Basically just wasn’t friendly at all quite frank she act like we was a bother. If you don’t like your job quit nobody ask you to work there. Then if all food came out and I was given someone else’s order. Ha everything was a joke I guess. No apology or anything. Brings out the correct food and then someone come out with the check a totally different server as if we were being rushed out. Didn’t get that fast service when we got there but rushing us to pay. The unprofessional rude person brought our ticket didn’t ask if we needed a to go or anything just walk away. I had to go find someone to get us a to go and I ask for the manager and they tell me oh she busy. I said ok find Them as I get up here come the same lady that brought out the wrong food to tell me that she was the manager. The entire process was embarrassing and distasteful to me and my family. As a person who been in the hospitality field for over 20plus years know how a person is supposed to be treated. No apology or anything but what is it that you like for me to do. A apology would have been nice but instead I guess she thought I was looking for something free. It is the little things that matter not everyone is looking for a free hand out. My family was not happy at all that our perfect morning turned into a disaster. I would hope that a manager will reach out because the manager you have there ruining your establishment is horrible and I will not be back.
This location has no knowledge of what customer service is. Been to this location multiple times and it has never changed. Our last visit the server brought our food out and 2 melts were completely wrong, after mentioning the server got our order wrong the lady rudely commented that she didn't mess up and in fact it was the cooks fault. We got our checks and in was proven 100% it was the servers fault as she put in the order wrong. the food is decent here, but the we like IHOP so we drive to a different location if we want it unless we are short of time.
We all paces our order. I took the little one to the rest room and came back to a family sitting behind us. I wasn’t sitting down 10 minutes when I realized that family was eating their food and we were still waiting. The server had come 5 minutes before then and said he had told the kitchen about our order. I had to ask for our order and still took 10 more minutes to get it. I had a 2 year old that had to watch people eat because it took about 30 minutes to get our food. I don’t play when it comes to my grand babies getting their food. Idk if it’s a racial thing or the kitchen just didn’t fix orders in order. This location will not be recommended be me. Oh yeah it was so much butter in my grits that when I mixed them up I still couldn’t eat them.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband is a firefighter and just got off and had been craving ihop. My family of 5 went to this location and waited for over 30 minutes to be seen. We still were NEVER seen or even asked what drinks we wanted. I understand an establishment can be busy. However, another family of lighter complexion came in 15 min. after us and was seen before us and also had gotten their drinks. We decided to leave and not accept bad service. This was very disappointing. Please do better!

The worst breakfast I have ever had. We asked for scrambled eggs with cheese in it. It was pieces of cheese in the scrambled eggs? Hmmm🤔 so I asked why was the cheese like that the waitress says oh we can fix it, but why was it like that in the first place? I understand it was crowded but the waiter that was waiting on the other families around us was on it. We had to keep trying to find our waitress to refill our coffee, to get the check. Over all I will never go back to this IHOP. Oh and the food was cold when we got it. It was not a good experience going to this location. This is the first time I have had a bad experience at IHOP. I would not recommend to eat at this location.
DO NOT come to this IHOP!!!! My family came to eat here after a procedure and sat us down good but we waiting for a few minutes to take out drinks then another 3 people sat next to us and attended to them first. I wonder because the staff there were young girls and the 3 people were men. And my family was a mixture of men and women. So keep in mind if young girls are working there and you are a man you will get serviced quickly but for a family of women and men not so good. And especially if you are women wait for at least 45 minutes to get serviced!!
Horrible service except for 1 waitress can't remember her name, but when we found a hair in our food the manager Miranda said she would comp his meal and proceeded to come back and tell us she took the steak off I was like why just the steak? She stormed off and ended up taking his whole meal off as she should have from get go..never going back. Miranda needs to make sure she does something about her nose she had a mask on but had snot running down on to the mask...just gross
The service is terrible. Waited almost 10 minutes for help and even still I had to ask several people before I got an answer and they I still had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my takeout order.
Called at 8:08 and asked if they were still doing the Veterans Day meal. They said yes. Drove in from Alvin, arrived shy 8:23. Got desired to be told by the same girl I spoke to on the phone that they stopped at 7:00 pm!!!! No wonder there wasn’t a single person there! This was supposedly the manager’s decision.
ordered togo and my meal was completely wrong i spoke with tye jacob’s and she wanted me to bring back the wrong order back to the restaurant. i asked for eggs fried hard and got scrambled i asked for banana foster french toast and got plain french toast. she didn’t want to refund me my order over the phone because she insisted on me bringing my food back but this order was brought to me by someone else so i had no way of bringing it back i offered her a picture of the wrong order and she still refused.
January 3 2024 A quick trip to start our day at our local ihop. I ordered my usual, eggs Benedict classic, but it went downhill from there. Hubby ordered 2x2x2 which was the usual fare. My eggs benny were not cooked and the sauce had separated so it looked almost like melted cheese….almost. The eggs were not cooked; I like poached eggs but not eggs so runny that there was still water in the eggs. Hubby also lost his appetite. The manager apologized and was ready to redo the plate. We were however on a short time line so the acceptable solution was not to charge us for it. It seems that checks and balances were not working today; a plate that should not have seen set out by the chef should not have been brought out to the table by the waitress (see picture #3). We will probably be back….but not for a while. December 2023. It’s an iHop. The food is decent diner food and our server was pleasant and friendly. We were here for breakfast on Saturday morning so of course it was very busy and very loud. It did get a little quiet between rushes but overall it’s an iHop with a good selection.
