Walked in without a reservation, but was sat no problem. They served us bread and a tapas with our drinks, they have Mahou on tap, we ordered a salad and seafood paella for two to share. The portions were generous, prices were fair and everything tasted great! That the service of the staff made this a great choice for dinner.

A very good restaurant in La Pedreña, opposite Santander (you can get there by car or by taking the boat that makes the Santander-Pedreña-Somo-El Puntal crossing). It has beautiful views of the Bay of Santander and they have an extensive menu of Cantabrian dishes, all very good and at reasonable prices. We ate the portions, all very delicious. They served us a delicious Cabrales-style cheese as a starter. I recommend making a reservation, as even though it's large, it can get crowded.

Pleasant restaurant with a simple dining room. Attentive service and very good seafood paella. The artichoke hearts were delicious. The cheesecake was average. A bit pricey but recommended.

The food was delicious. The place was neat and clean. Good atmosphere. The service was very good, except for when after we finished, it took 20 minutes for us to get our bill, and then a man with a shaved head came over and didn't even say hello when he approached our table. He was more concerned about the dining room than paying us. The tiny lady at the reception desk would check in with the customers and chat for 10 minutes, I imagine because they knew each other, being from the area. A small gesture from the gentleman that we didn't like...

With stunning views of the Bay of Santander, we ate at this family restaurant, a traditional homemade meal with lots of flavor, generous portions (you can order a plate for two), and very fresh ingredients. They give you a free wedge of Cabrales cheese before your meal. The dining room is small, but there are tables outside at the entrance. The wines are good. The quality and price are good, as the products are fresh.

We went for lunch, three of us: two adults and a five-year-old child. To save time and be direct, here are the key points of my experience: Food: Mussels: In my opinion, the portion was too small for three people. They were large but excessively spicy, which made them difficult to enjoy. Croquettes: Ten pieces presented as small balls. The flavor was decent, although they were too coated in breadcrumbs for my taste. Grilled octopus: Very tasty, but the excessive amount of hot paprika prevented me from enjoying it as much as I expected. Scallops: Definitely the best. Eight pieces, large and very flavorful. Highly recommended. Service: We were served by a waitress named Anjana. Very attentive, polite, and pleasant. A positive point about the restaurant. Atmosphere: The restaurant is spacious and well-lit. Some reviews mention a beach view, but we only saw a photo on a wall of the beach. I don't know if there's another dining room with an actual view. Details to note: Except for the mussels (and the clams we saw on another table), the rest of the dishes seemed to be of adequate portion size. The spiciness level in several dishes (mussels and octopus) was excessive for my taste. I'm not a fan of spicy food, and although I understand that each region has its own style, I would have appreciated it being indicated on the menu. Bread: You'll find it on the table when you sit down, and it costs €1 per person. We didn't order it, and, as in all my reviews, I criticize charging for something you didn't request. Also, the bread was quite dry. Summary: Except for the mussels and clams (we didn't order the latter, but we saw them on the next table), the rest of the dishes were of a suitable size. Personally, I found both the mussels and the octopus too spicy. I'm not a fan of spicy food, and although it's usually indicated on the menu, I didn't see it in this case. I understand that cooking methods vary from region to region, but this is my experience and opinion. One detail I didn't like: bread is already on the table when you sit down. We didn't order it, but they charge €1 per person. You could say they're charging you €1 just for sitting down. As I do in all my reviews, I criticize this kind of practice. Furthermore, the bread wasn't particularly noteworthy: it was quite dry for my taste.

Disappointing. Small, lukewarm portions. Barely served, but no special attention to detail. 148 euros for two people, and not even a thank you or goodbye. We won't be back, and we're from Cantabria.

Hola buenas, La verdad que la primera vez que fui me sorprendió todo muy bueno, y hoy! Hoy me a vuelto a sorprender! Pero a mal, desastre, agresividad en los precios y poca calidad, 6 langostinos 17€., Ensalada 8,50, merluza ala plancha 19€.UN ATRACO! con el abuso de precios. Pd:Recomiendo no ir. Los postres decentes.

Hemos comido bien, eso si el ambiente es de español rancio y fascista. Fuimos por los buenos comentarios de la comida, que nos gustó pero de haber sabido que tienen retratos de primo de rivera y franco colgados en la pared no hubiésemos ni pisado el sitio. No volveremos. Demócratas huid de este sitio.

I didn't like it much; the octopus was a bit salty. I did like the Roquefort cheese, which was very good, and the bread too. We then asked for more bread, and they charged us one euro per piece, not informing customers that they were charging three euros per basket. You had to be on top of the waiters for them to pay attention. Well, the food was expensive and average, with little variation in the fried fish. I don't recommend it.
