Personalized traditional American dinner place with super friendly and caring waitresses. The price is affordable and reasonable in today’s inflated economy. Super-healthy and tasty kids menu to keep my kids enjoying their fine dinning experience at a cozy restaurant. Same price range like Cheese Cake Factory with less sugar, fat and salt. A adults and kids friendly place for a nice eat-out. My recommended dish is grilled shrimp and strawberry salad! Healthy, colorful, and tasty.

The food here was good and the service was very friendly. Our server was knowledgeable. The steaks were flavorful. The decor and ambiance is nice and welcoming. I enjoyed the seared tuna quite a bit. We had a short wait, maybe 10-15 minutes. One thing to note is that even though the soup or potato dishes are flavorful, they may make you feel full quite fast.

Please read the entirety of this comment. Here is my SCORE: 1) Atmosphere: 5/5 2) Service: 4.9/5 3) Flavor: 4.5/5 4) Cost: 4.8/5 Total Score: 4.8 (4.875/5). This restaurant is awesome. I really enjoyed the relax tones of cafe and cabin looking like architecture with wood beams and stone touches. The elegant décor, soft lighting, and thoughtfully designed seating make it ideal for everything from intimate dinners to celebratory gatherings. The open kitchen adds a lively and engaging touch, allowing guests to see the cooks in action. The service was impeccable. From the moment I walked in, the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They offered excellent recommendations and ensured every detail of the dining experience was handled with care. Plates were cleared seamlessly, drinks were promptly refilled, and the timing between courses was perfect. Firebird sets a high standard for hospitality. The food at Firebird is nothing short of exceptional. Every dish showcased a mastery of flavors and textures, with bold yet balanced combinations. They serve you the most delicious complementary bread warm from the oven. Highlights included the perfectly filet steak with mashed potatoes and sparragus, their Caesar salad (a must try), and their cheese cake brûlée. Their decadent bread pudding was a bit of a disappointment (but not. A huge deal). Please read my comments to management for more details. Total Score: 4.8 (4.875/5) Nonetheless, this place I s an exceptional restaurant that delivers on almost every front. From its innovative dishes to its outstanding service, it’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended! ————— A note to management: the temperatures for the butter, the plates and the steaks are all different. Please take this feedback to ensure there is a more cohesive temperature control. It does make a difference. Also, one of my plates had a terrible stain and I just think that could’ve been avoided if there was more attention to detail. Please also check on the bread pudding recipe, they gave us a raspberry syrup that was not only felt out of place, was just not the right flavor combination. Perhaps a caramel syrup, bourbon, cardamom? Please revise this dish flavor profile.

Me and my fiancée dined here for our anniversary, and our server David was hands down the best server we have ever had. He was attentive, respectful, and for our first time being at Firebirds he made the expirence that much better. The 16oz Ribeye was amazing and the Au Gratin potatoes were delicious. The tomahawk pork chop is also amazing and was very tasty. Overall great experience, I can’t wait to go back !

We had date night here the other night. The staff at the bar was great! Prompt, and made great drinks. We moved to a booth when our reservation was ready, the table was clean and tidy

This was our first time coming here and we truly enjoyed our first visit!! Chris did an amazing job as our server and went above and beyond. The food was delicious, plating was great and the weather was perfect for seating outside on their patio. My mom had the Tomahawk pork chops and I had their seasonal Seared Grouper; both amazing entrees. The ingredients were fresh and cooked well! We’ll definitely be back!

Outstanding service and the food was excellent. Tomahawk Pork chop with carrots 🥕 was amazing. Sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli 🥦 was delicious.

Food was fantastic 😋 average wait for food to cook and be served. Good service 👍🏻 made reservations online for best outcome, recommend making reservations and not walking in as you'll definitely have to wait. They even pack your leftovers for you.

Service was exceptional! Jeff went above and beyond to make sure our order was perfect. His recommendations were spot on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I suggest the Roasted chicken with citrus sauce. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be requesting Jeff!

Hidden gem....you have to try this place! We had two salads, two filets, two lobster tails, four shrimp, two salads, two glasses of wine and everything wax PERFECT! We were visiting from Atlanta and accustomed to paying downtown prices, so a bill of less than $150 for all of this was just a crazy good deal! Steaks were so tender and delicious, and generous portions, too.

Love this restaurant, I ordered the Filet and my wife got the sea base and both were delicious. She had a salad and I had the chili both were good, I had hoped they would have clam chowder but not available. The double black diamond pineapple martinis were great, love those drinks. Bread was good. I ordered my steak medium, but it came rare to medium rare, but was still delicious. The fish was cooked perfect. We will be back.

Service was amazing. Host was a little shy but whomever the young lady was that seated us had great energy. Our server Dyvine was top tier from the time he introduced himself til the time we left. He had the drink suggests & menu down. Also, shout out to the manager on duty as well. He sold me on those desserts.

The food was delicious and the service was even better! Zach was our server and he was so attentive - our glasses were never empty and he checked on us often. The manager even came over to just make sure our experience was great. Can't wait to eat here again!

That wasn’t dinner, it was an experience! The shrimp with pesto and goat cheese appetizer was the star of the evening in my opinion but everything was perfect. The food, the service. We had the sea bass and the ribeye, GET THE SIDE OF CARROTS WITH YOUR STEAK! Trust me! Wow!!! Plus we got there a little early and they had an amazing vodka infused with pineapple house cocktail at a great happy hour price. We had a great time and we’ll be back!

I recently dined at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Peoria, AZ, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Located at 16067 N Arrowhead Fountains Center Dr, this spot offers a warm, upscale atmosphere paired with top-notch food that truly stands out. One of the highlights of my meal was the deviled eggs. These weren’t your average deviled eggs—they came topped with housemade candied bacon, a slice of jalapeño, and a drizzle of sriracha. The combination of creamy, smoky, sweet, and spicy was absolutely spot-on. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and they set the tone for the rest of the meal. Then came the Smokehouse Burger, and wow, it did not disappoint. Made with a half-pound of fresh, never-frozen beef grilled over a wood fire, it had that perfect smoky char that elevated the whole thing. Topped with Java BBQ sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, smoked cheddar, and red onion on a toasted brioche bun, it was juicy, bold, and packed with that rich, savory goodness I crave in a burger. The side of seasoned steak fries was a great match, crispy and flavorful. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe—complete with an indoor fireplace—made it feel cozy yet refined. If you’re in Peoria and looking for a standout meal, Firebirds is a must-visit. The deviled eggs and Smokehouse Burger alone are worth the trip!

Sept 2025: We come to Firebirds frequently but had to write another review specifically for the tomahawk pork chop! 🔥 It was the best pork chop I’ve ever had! The hot honey glaze, pico and the charred carrots with feta cheese and green onions were spectacular 🤌🏽 (See photos and videos attached) Amazing food and service as always! Tomahawk pork chop 🔥10/10 Charred carrots 🥕 10/10 NY strip 10/10 2022: All I can say is wow! This was our first time visiting and we were completely blown away by the service and food! Our waitress Rachel was super friendly and attentive and Matt made sure to check on us to make sure we had an exceptional experience. We ordered the wings, lobster and spinach queso, grilled salmon, au gratin potatoes and ribs and all of it was cooked to perfection! Everything was seasoned perfect and we loved the wood fire grill “smoked” flavor! Great prices and portions as well! Overall we had a top tier experience and can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu! A must visit if you are in the area! 👌🏽🫶🏽❤️

Very nice place! Seems like on Father's Day, they only took reservations, or you could sit in the bar. The chairs were comfortable enough but I don't much care for high seats. Our server was super enthusiastic. Almost to the point of annoying. But he was great!

We had a great experience at this restaurant. Our server, Alyssa, took great care of us. We were visited by two different managers, both of which were very friendly but respectful of our time eating. The food was excellent. Steaks were perfectly prepared for the three different ways we ordered them. Sides were also all very tasty. We were full, so skipped trying desserts.

Came for dinner and to watch football. Sat at the bar, it wasn't too busy. Bartender was great, attentive to everyone, cracking jokes and making sure everything he put in to the kitchen came out timely. Ordered my food and it came out just how I ordered it. Beverages were great. Their lemonade is delish!! I'll be back for sure.

The food is always excellent although I can only speak to a handful of menu items. I am partial to a hamburger and theirs is so good that I am reluctant to order anything else. But I will say that the pasta is very good as well. One minor complaint is that apparently just anyone can walk in and take your online order from the shelves just inside the door. This happened to me last time but the staff quickly remade my order while I waited. The wait wasn't too long but I thought it would have been a nice token to offer a free dessert or something for the inconvenience. I will certainly continue to eat there nonetheless.

All 5 stars that about covers this restaurant. Had lunch for two. 2 sandwiches with salads $18.00 each.1 steak fries plus sear tuna for appit.plus two ice teas. Food & tip just under 100. 5th time in two different locations always great. Hope you have a great experience too.

My wife and I went here for first time for our anniversary. My wife wasn't sure if she would like it or not. But, after all said and done. Food was great and our server Cheri was amazing. She checked on us regularly was very polite, courteous, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Firebirds and Cheri...

We went to Arrowhead Firebirds after a really bad experience at the Surprise location. Wow!!! What a complete difference. Our Server Jeff was amazing, Very tentative to our vist. Made recommendations and explained everything in detail. Excellent Service. The Manager Donny came over and Thanked us for giving them a try and apologized for the other locations lack of service. I highly recommend Jeff and Donny at this location. Keep up the great work!!

We had a great experience at Firebirds, and a big part of that was our server, Drew. His service was excellent—very respectful, attentive, and he kept a great attitude the entire time. He really made us feel welcome and taken care of. The food was solid as well. The ribs were very good, cooked well and full of flavor, and I’d definitely recommend the garden salad—it was fresh and a great complement to the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable visit thanks to great service and good food. We’ll definitely be back.

The food at Firebirds is always very good. Our food was very good, and the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, and he gave us enough time to enjoy our appetizer before serving our main course. The restaurant was very busy for a Tuesday evening. The Creme Brûlée dessert was excellent too. I had a Lemon Drop martini, and it was a bit sour but better than being too sweet. This drink is hard to make. My husband and I had just arrived in the Peroria area and wanted a nice meal. This fit the bill. We have eaten here several times.

We celebrated my birthday here on Saturday the 24th. Our server Divine was absolutely Divine!!! I am not easily impressed and he did absolutely amazing. We had difficult orders and people lol, but he handled it like an absolute star and smiled the entire time. I highly suggest going here. We drove from the downtown Phoenix area and it was worth the drive. It was a perfect experience. Thank you Divine and all the staff. We will be back.

A great overall quality experience. Jeff was our server and he was top notch. He was extremely helpful explaining flavor profiles and different enhancements options to help us narrow down to end up being presented with a delicious meal. He suggested ‘Pittsburgh’ style for our ribeye, which made the steak absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and had exquisite flavor. Thank you Jeff for your great suggestions! Atmosphere is very spacious and open concept. We were seated near the kitchen and enjoyed the open aspect, being able to sneak peeks at other dishes as they were prepped. Quality through and through! Thank you Firebirds for your kind staff, wonderful food, and enticing atmosphere. We will be back for sure!

The staff were friendly and helpful in accomodations for seating. Our server John was extremely nice and an excellent representation for quality. The food, second to none, my compliments to the chefs. Started with the deviled eggs. Honestly, the bacon could be its own appetizer, but is amazing with the eggs and jalapenos. While the garlic sirloin I got was a tad over medium rare, it was still absolutely delicious. It pairs very well with the port mushrooms. For the drink, I enjoyed the cherry old fashioned. Garnished with orange peel, this drink is a definite go to for full body flavor and spices. Highly recommend!!!

2nd time here and it keeps getting better. Showed up on Valentine's Day, no reservation and after a decent wait was seated. Food was delcious, service was prompt and drinks were mixed well. Becoming one of our favorite date night spots. Recommend the honey chicken and Cajun ribeye

First time there. Went there with my dad. This establishment is incredible! There was ample open parking spaces apon arrival. We were greeted by very friendly staff members who made us feel welcome. Immediately after being seated, our knowledgeable and beautiful waitress got our drink order. We had the house wine which went perfectly with both of our completely different meals. Dad had the Salmon I had the Parmesan chicken. Decent sized portions and the wait wasn't that long. We enjoyed the homemade bread while we waited for our entrees. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We will be returning for sure! I recommend this place to everyone!

I chose this restaurant for date night with my husband. Everything about our experience was exceptional. The service was personal and efficient. The food was amazing, especially the filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy and absolutely everything that I would’ve wanted for my husband and I do experience I would definitely come here again and recommend it to others as well. Also, a special shout out to Zach who was our server who did an amazing job.

THE BUSINESS REVIEWER

When you walk into Firebirds Wood Fired Grill you are immediately hit with the wonderful smell of wood fire cooking!! We came here for a Sunday brunch and left happy and satisfied! Our server was Ava and she was pleasant and really good at her job! They started us off with the bread service and I loved it! We started off with the lobster queso with fresh and warm tortilla chips and we both really loved it. Its a bit fishy but we sti liked it! For the main entree We went with the steak and eggs bowl and it was good but not great. They main reason for a 4 star review is because of the potatoes in this bowl were not freshly cooked. They were definitely from a box or a bag and warmed up and put in this plate. The steak was cooked to perfection and the eggs were good. We loved the horseradish sauce! It all went together nicely!!For the dessert we went with the special chocolate bread pudding with hot fudge!! This sounded amazing!! And we also had to get the carrot cake with the Carmel sauce drizzle to go! To start off I'm a HUGE!! BREAD PUDDING FAN!! So I had high expectations!! I'm sad to say that this bread pudding was the worst I've ever had. The carrot cake on the other hand was pretty good!! All in all it was a good experience but I think they could have done better.

My bestie and I came here for our monthly girls' night. I suggest a reservation for a Friday or Saturday night dinner. Looking online, it seemed like a dressy place. I came and saw quite a few in jeans and casual wear, so I definitely felt overdressed for the occasion. Our server was super sweet and gave us our space. We got to just chat and enjoy the atmosphere. We loved the lodge steakhouse. Despite being busy, it wasn't too loud where we couldn't talk. Everything we are was delicious there was a small mistake with our order but it was fixed very quickly. I love they actually know how to cook a steak correctly, many places struggle with bleu. This is a lovely place to enjoy date night or celebrate a special occasion. While they have a kids' menu, I'm not sure kids would appreciate the meals.

I might be too critical about dry aged steaks. I had the 21 day aged ribeye. It was missing that unique dry aged texture that I expected, however the steak was still good for the money. If you like baked potatoes, the loaded baked potato is a great option. The grilled street corn has a delightful texture and a fantastic range of flavors. They also have a good selection of wine, sides and desserts. Our server Cheri was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. I also appreciated the visit from Dave, the bar manager.

T
Thomas Burch

Steaks and seafood were above average. We had wings as an appetizer. Wife had the prime rib, I had the Cajun steak with lobster 🦞 tail, vegetables and a Cesar salad. Lobster was a bit over cooked, but still tasty. We sat at the bar, John and Kent were great. Made everyone in the restaurant drinks, and did not miss a bit with us either. Waitress were really friendly too and knew the items on the menu. I find for the price of the food, it was a little pricey. If you want to drop over 200 on just food there are other options, but for me, the services, portion size, and atmosphere are worth it.

When our waiter, Ken, brought our meals he said the gentleman inspecting the dishes felt my fish was overcooked so they made me another one. The original piece was actually cooked just right. The rice pilaf dish was amazing but I didn't realize it had quinoa. When I explained my allergy, he replaced that as well. Everything is fresh and high quality ingredients. The caramel sauce for the brownie sundae is amazing. I don't give many 5s, so this was an exceptional experience.

Great parking, nicely layed out restaurant - first time there, late night dining. Great decor, ample seating. Food was decent, with the exception of our appetizer (deviled eggs, which had no flavor & did not taste like eggs). Waiter was courteous. Drinks were great & mixed well. Prices for some items were a little over the top. I don't mind paying higher prices but the quality of our meal did not match the pricing at all. Probably will not revisit.

Our waitress was kind and professional but I asked her if my meatloaf came with 2 slices like a picture I presented. She said yes but only one slice was served. It tasted just ok like cafeteria meatloaf. The gravy was good. Mushrooms are very sweet like marsala. Mashed potatoes are dense, sticky and a little sour. I wondered if they were from the previous day. The burger had several positive reviews although it was basic. Looked and tasted like a frozen patty. It was Marti Monday. The lemon martini was awesome and only $7.00

We visited at 615p.. busy, no doubt. But to tell everyone that it'll be a 10-15 minute wait is ridiculous when you know that isn't true. Be honest so people can make informed decisions. After 30 minutes, we were seated. We received drinks within about 10 minutes but the nearly 40 minute wait after that on our food was unacceptable. The staff was kind and did comp us a cup of chili to go, which was appreciated. But definitely make reservations if you can.

The bartenders- Angelina and Brigitte were super great! Very nice , excellent service. Drinks were really good! But the steaks... my boyfriend ordered Ribeye medium rare and I ordered sirloin medium well done. We both felt like we were chewing rubber... the steaks were TERRIBLE.... hardly edible, we did not finish them. Mine was wayyy over cooked.. absolutely no pink inside. But even the boyfriends steak at medium rare was hard for him to chew. Flavor good, but the chewyness was not. I dont recommend for steaks. The wings next to us smelled super good.

We have gove to Firbirds regularly and had take out many times always to give you a 5 star rating. Food is normally hot even for the carry out/ pickup. We ordered at 1223 and were told about 20 minutes. Arrived at the pick up curbside as we have always done. At 1248 the text went out here and got the "Welcome" and that the food would be right out. Mind you this is a steak salad and a chili. Not hard to fill. Finally at 1310 I got frustrated and went in and asked the hostess about it. She went back to the kitchen. A minute or so later I look around and on a lower shelf is a bag for Kim R. No one bothered to bring it out to the curb or bothered to look when I asked. When she came back I told her it was right there and pointed to it as I grabbed it only to here "oh sorry" Please train tour people better. WHEN I got home, mind you 2 1/2 miles is all, the food was luke warm including the salad that should be cold. Not happy at all and I know this not the norm but still. 5 bucks was added for a tip. For what? I did the work your staff failed to do. I hope a manager get this and takes time to retrain staff on looking at the orders if they sit more than a few minutes and be aware and investigate. Hope the next visit is better. A 2 star is generous becuase the bread was fine and were the cookies. Hope for a better visit next time so I can change the review.

Honestly, service and atmosphere were terrific. It’s a beautiful restaurant that makes you feel like you’re in for a delightful meal. But the quality of the steaks were sadly similar to what Black Angus offers. At this price point I expected there to be a considerable step up in calibre of beef vs BA. Got the Filet Mignon and it was simply ‘ok’. For a $43 7oz steak I was just anticipating more.. our waitress, and all staff we interacted with could not have been better. What I fear is that too much resources are put into the brick & mortar (the space is huuuuge) & the establishment presentation, that the quality of ingredients take a hit. Final note (totally personal opinion): a quality steak should not be wrapped in bacon. A good cut filet mignon should stand on its own and not need the support of such an inferior meat. (I understand you can order it without bacon, but my assertion is that the bacon is there to mask the disappointing steak).

Donald J

They had a very weak app menu. Drinks are very expensive.. $13 for a sub par mule. Their Labor Day rib special was kind of disappointing. It was $22 with tax. When our order showed up it looked like a kids meal. A small handful of frys, a tiny ramican of fruit, and the smallest rack of ribs you have ever seen. Service was terrible too, but that has already been taken care of by the lovely kitchen manager lady.

It was my birthday, I have been wanting to return here after having an amazing blue cheese steak a few years ago. My family met up there this evening and made reservations. They did have Shiraz wine. Which made me happy as it is very hard to find at most restaurants. We ordered our food and it took over an hour (It was super busy for a Wednesday). When we finally received our food, it was not prepared correctly. Over cooked for him.and undercooked for me. While they made it right, the meat was not tender...not sure why that would be...then took an additional 30 min to get our replacements. It took almost 3 hours to get out of there. I dont know if tonight was a fluke, but I would not recommend this place only because of the meat served, didnt meet the price charged. It was like I was eating a chuck roast and not a filet. Display was very nice tho.

I have been to Firebirds before, but it has been years. Have still heard good things, so we went to check it out. Not good at all, save your money. Worst Srip steak I've ever had out to eat. It was cooked decent enough, medium rare and had a good nicely flavored sear on it, but was chewy, full of veiny cartilage is what it seemed like. The (loaded) potato it came with was overcooked and dry, couldn't eat the skin, it was like shoe leather. My wife had the filet which had to be sent back because it was rarer than rare, still cold in the middle and she ordered it medium. It came back properly cooked, she said it was just ok. She had broccoli which was way overcooked and flavorless and her potato was also overcooked and dry with shoe leather skin. Our server was Jeff and he wasnt around very often, pushed us three times to order a drink and when we said no each time, seemed like we hardly existed after that, had to get the attention of 2 other servers to get more water and help with my wife's poorly cooked steak. $100 for what I would consider a $40 tavern meal. Save your money.

My first (& last) time at Firebirds was disappointing. I had heard it was good. Had a reservation - got there & had to stand & wait for half an hour for a table. Why even make a reservation? After we were seated had to wait an hour and a half before getting dinner. Loaded baked potato was not loaded. I could count about 7 strands of cheese , about a teaspoon of sour cream, no butter, a couple of tiny pieces of bacon & maybe 1/4 tsp. chives. I ordered my filet medium rare. It was so raw I was waiting to hear "moo". I could not eat it. I've never gotten a medium rare steak that uncooked, it was not even warm inside. It looked like it had been taken out of a fridge, & tossed on the broiler a few seconds, even the bacon was raw. I do like medium rare, but there was no medium about this. I did not eat it & took it home to cook. Meal was extremely expensive, & comes with one side. If you get a potato, you don't get any other vegetable. Atmosphere is cold & chairs are uncomfortable, wobbly table, it's extremely loud so you can't even hold a conversation. Only positive was the server who was very sweet. I would not go back to this restaurant. 7:30 pm reservation & got our food about 9:30pm. Very disappointing.

We have been here many times, and normally we make a reservation as I did this time. We were 15 minutes early, checked in, the young lady stated if would be at the 5:15 reservation time. I said ok. I got my wife a wine from the bar for the wait, the time reached 5:15, I waited patiently, then we watched three different groups come in and be seated before us. I went back up and asked the young lady what the hold up was and did mention the other people that just went in before us. She then asked me what my name was again, she said I had one table before us. It was now 5:45, thirty minutes after our reservation time. I do believe the purpose of a reservation is to ensure you have a table at the prescribed time you reserve. Needless to say we were not happy about the long wait. No apologies for the delay, on a good note our server (Grace) was fantastic and of course the food was great as always. As a long time customer, to the management team, do better! Do not have children running the front check in desk.
