Delicious food! The brisket sandwich is yum!! Anything here really is so good. A bit pricey but definitely worth it! Oh try the fried pickles also! :)

Honestly, one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life. I felt welcomed and encouraged to explore the variety on the menu. The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the Texas Twinkies, The Panchitos and The Potato with meat. $50 it came out but it was all worth it, taste was just sublime.

My order was 4 street tacos, 2 brisket and 2 pork. They had run out of pork but the manager provided me the chicken tacos option instead that was not the menu for the inconvenience. Great customer service.

As always, Bar-B-Cuties has done an outstanding job! The staff was on point and attentive and the food was excellent. I had the mild bbq wings and boy were they great. Perfectly cooked and crisp. I also had a chopped brisket sandwich that was steaming hot. 10/10 will go again.

Fast food barbecue that's really good! Chicken wings were juicy, tasty and hot. Wet brisket was smoked, tasty and moist. I gotta say, if you want it Fast and you expect good this is your place. If you order the basket of fries bring your appetite because it's huge!

The drive thru service this evening was perfect. There was a man who was very careful and specific to my order, also he was very polite. That is how fast food cashiers must be. Nice worker and I will be back here again knowing my order will be under full control.

I did drive thru this weekend and it was Great BBQ for quick service. I was offered their version of puppuccino with pulled pork and bacon bits !!! My puppies loved it . The menu has many added items which was good to see . Will definitely be back to try other non bbq items and more puppuccinos !!!!

Kinda loud but the food was good. 1st brisket I have had that wasn't dry and stringy. Wife had baked potato with chopped brisket. It was more than she could eat. We enjoyed the food.

Went here for a birthday celebration, and it was great. I had the turkey panchos and it had a bit too much cheese for me and not enough tortilla chips. Everything else was great!

I had the Victor burger(brisket, sausage and cheese) and it is just the perfect serving size. Not to mention delicious and at a very reasonable price for a BBQ place.

You never feel like there was not enough bbq on the plate. Plus they had 2 bbq sauces on the table but when you mix them together that makes 3 kinds of bbq sauces to eat with.

I always get the beef ponchos with beans on the side(will get soggy fast) always delicious and they always put extra onions jalapeños and bbq sauce like I ask. I eat here often. Ponchos are big enough for leftovers or to share

Chicken was cooked to perfection!! Juice and flavorful all the way. Potatoe salad was really good too. Drive thru line was long during lunch but it went by really quick and staff was friendly.

OMG! 😱 I finally found Peach Cobbler made exactly the way I like it ❤️🙌🫶🏻 with a crispy crust 😋 and of course the Brisket was crazy good. The staff was very friendly and the dining area was clean. We really enjoyed our dining experience overall 💥🙌😋🫶🏻❤️

My wife and I were in the area and decided to have lunch. All we wanted was a brisket sandwich. As we walk in we were welcomed very warmly. The young lady that assisted us gave us recommendations. My wife had the brisket and sausage without cheese. I had the El Jefe. It was a grounded brisket burger. It was super good. I had it with 2 very crisp and delicious fresh jalapeños. The tea was fresh and delicious. I love the ice. As we walk out we had many staff members wish us a great day and thank us for dinning there. We enjoyed the clean dinning room and warm atmosphere. Thank you folks.

The Brisket is so good here I come here twice a week for take out. I always order the moist Brisket and it is so delicious. Their potato salad, coleslaw, fried pickles, and Mac & cheese are all good too. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

It's usually fairly consistent in quality and taste. Standard brisket. Only thing is, it is always cold, whether you order it to eat there or to go, it will never be hot, sometimes it's warm.

Brisket was a solid 8.5 / 10, it was delicious just not that "moist". The st louis ribs were chewy, not tender and poorly seasoned. The place is nice, clean, good service and atmosphere.

The service and food were both amazing. The prices seem a little high for this type of concept, but good BBQ is worth it. I would skip the Mac’n’cheese because that was the only disappointing part of our meal. Spare ribs and brisket sandwich were great.

The food is great. My personal favorite is a sandwhich called "The Victor." Very delicious. However, the service lacks a lot. At the drive-thru, the lady was slightly rude and even forgot my drink. Overall though, their food beats their employees attitudes so it's all good.

Food was cold. I think they forgot about it. One of the employees seemed bothered when she walked by and asked for a box to go. Then.. asked for another one.. and she said okay..in a bothered way. And just never brought it..she must have been having a bad day. I love to come here for the turkey ponchos, brisket cheese fries and chamoy margaritas.

Tasty BBQ food , friendly/helpful staff members, family atmosphere. Also, it is easy on the pocketbook.

Had to stop by and give it a shot, and it wasn’t bad at all. I enjoyed my Turkey and my wife enjoyed her loaded spud.

Staff is very friendly, answer questions about the menu with ease. Food came to us less than 5 minutes (store was semi pack) came out hot and was very good. Turkey was moist in the center. Potato was good and had a lot of cheese! Salad surprisedly very good with brisket on it.over all I would recommend visiting if you have time to enjoy

Brisket was very delicious and tender. Was full of flavor. The picture is of brisket lean. Im my opinion the brisket was better than Rudys. The potatoe salad had good flavor and was not overwhelmed by mayonnaise nor the other ingredients, it was just well balanced. Sausage was very tasteful as well. The reason for the 4 and not 5 star, was the fact that the coleslaw was just a tad dry, in my opinion. If it weren’t for that the 5 star would had been a no brainer. Establishment was also very clean and staff was very friendly. I saw Sanitation was being performed during my whole visit. Definitely coming back to this place again very soon.

The food was okay it needed more flavor. Mixed feeling about getting panchos, salsa and charro beans at a BBQ joint. But we did get a good R almost X rated show, when one of the male employees, looked like management was fondling, Canoodling, necking, another female employee right at the counter just 3 feet from us while another employee took our order.

I dont know this is my second time there. In such a long time. I guess next time I'll eat there because I got some panchos and from traveling there to my house which was 10 minutes the tortilla chips were all soggy. As for the baby back ribs seemed to dry.

Food is alright. Sides are 2.49 for a small portion. If you choose 2 that's $5 dollars on top of meal. Usually spend around $15 bucks on half bird with 2 sides and drink. Expect to spend more on brisket or Ribs.

First time here the cashier didn’t greet us ordered the food and when our order came to the table it was just placed on the side of the table. The order was not labeled since we order different type of cut the food was also cold. The food was taken to the front and they just warmed it up in the microwave. Will not recommend this place for a family the lights are very dim for the people at the bar. Will not be coming by this place any time soon sorry!

The brisket is pretty good, I wouldn't say exceptional but pretty good! The service on the other hand is extremely lacking especially if you go through the drive-thru. Never fails to be anything but disappointing! You will never feel like you are doing anything but inconveniencing them by stopping by and providing them your business. No warm greeting, definitely no helpful attitude, and they will rush you bye asking you literally verbatim "Is that it!" or "Is that all!" After every portion of your order. The tone at which it said is definitely implying hurry up and spit out whatever you want so I don't have to deal with you! Last time I know I got someone in some type of leadership and it was no difference! Absolutely shameful customer service! If I didn't like the barbecue so much and reasonable price and close proximity to my place definitely would choose to go somewhere else!

This is a hit or miss lunch time brisket sandwich. Either you get a fresh yummy one or a dark left over one! So I don't want to take a chance,so I take my business some where else. And worst of all I rarely get a hot brisket sandwich. Brisket is cold and bun is worse! Manager try eating what you serve to customers than I would like to read your true honest review .if your sales are down wonder why?? Sorry but clean up your act.your competition surrounds you!!

The fajita tacos had been served with reheated flour tortillas. And the fajitas were not seasoned very well. The seasoning wasn't bad but it lacked a little flavor. The brisket sandwich is among my favorites. I wasn't very disappointed.

Food was delicious but there was small black little flies everywhere. Tables were dirty. Didn't get to enjoy food and had to cover drinks. The bartender sprayed some type of spray in bar area as there were so many flies.

Ordered delivery thru Uber eats and never again, who wants bbq with no sauce??!! Aside from that we were given a baggie with 4 pickle slices? For 4 sandwiches that doesn’t seem sufficient unless we all want one pickle. Just ridiculous overall. Convenience isn’t worth the aggravation, I’ll order from elsewhere in the future

Firstly, my experience was for take out. The brisket was dry and flavorless. We paid about $8 for 1/2lb. The mac-n-cheese was cooked well, but was also flavorless. Overall, above average prices for below average food.

I usually go once a month. the food is good. but it's pretty expensive. Unfortunately, the customer service is a hit or miss. Mostly a miss. The manager is very friendly but the regular employees not so much. Today I went in and after being stuck behind a group of very slow ordering people, the employees walked away. They didn't greet me, not even a "we will be with you in a moment.." Nothing. But the driver through girl was content sipping on her ice tea and just stand there watching other people work (there were no customers in drive through). The expo Coordinator gave trays to pass out to the cashier, then walked away. Having spent a number of years in the restaurant industry I know, no self respecting business owner would appreciate their staff turning their backs on their customers with out even saying a word. There is a clear lack of either cross training or team work attitude. Either way it's the customer that suffers. What's worse when started to walk out they did not even try to rectify the situation. They just watched me walk away. Maybe I'm the jerk for not waiting for it to be convenient for THEM to take take my money, either way I won't be returning. Especially since this is not the first time this has happened.

I didn't really like this place. It's not a real BBQ place at all. All they sell is chicken, pork ribs and brisket. I went early at opening and the food was cold. The ribs were cold and tasted like nothing. The chicken had no seasoning. It was my first time there and I can definitely say its my last.

Experience was terrible this time. The sign clearly says chopped sandwich 3.99. Told they no longer accepted that offer. So why the sign. O.K, still ordered 2 with mac and asked them to put it in separate bags. Got home, no mac, no bbq sauce. People don't know how to divide 2.

It's such a shame. The prices go up and they give you less food. I remember paying $10 for panchos, and they would serve you really well. It was always enough for 2 people. Now, you pay $13.99, $4 more, and they give you less food. That doesn't make sense. I use to go almost twice a month, but now I probably go every 3-4 months. I went today expecting a well served plate, and I was very disappointed. I understand inflation is a serious problem right now, but still don't raise prices and give less food.

Food is great! But, if your planning on just stopping by for a drink you might want to plan ahead. Bartender is never around during lunchtime. Expect 15-30 minutes to even be acknowledged if you just head straight to the bar. I highly recommend their BBQ sauce. 4 great flavors!

I had their brisket Chilli. It was just a cup of corn with some brisket sprinkled on top. No cornbread in the side and for some reason they added a lemon wedge. Horrible

This place does not know what smoked meat should taste like. I had brisket and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich. Neither one of us ate our entire meal. I have a smoker and have been smoking different kinds of meats for years and the best I can tell is there meat is not smoked long enough because I could barely taste the smoke.

I have tried to like the dishes, but once you have had real delicious bbq, this place is generic. I know people that love this place. To me it's okay.

2nd time in a row, where i order a beef panchos, and the cook serves this and keeps the beef. Wth , i went drive thru. Checked it the time i got home. Not a good experience. Now i have to check their work everytime.

Worst BBQ I have had in Texas. Meats are dry and half pound of the meats are all over $10. Really really disappointing quality and quantity. McAllen really doesn't have a good place eat.

Food tasted like tap water, even the sauces available had any flavor. The brownies and fried pickles were fine. Only things I'd actually buy again. Service was good, but over all food was bland and not really worth the hype. Would still come again for the pickles.

Food came out quick but it was cold. Took it to the front and they heated it up in the microwave causing the pulled pork and moist brisket to get dry. Ordered the platter with Mac n cheese and rice, Guessing the rice had just gotten out of the microwave because that was the only thing warm, unfortunately the Mac was cold too. Service was okay, could tell the cashier and the cooks didn’t care about the cold food.

Ok so we ate ribs and we where not impressed.,they tasted like they where made in the oven at home and not a SMOKE HOUSE. The baked potatoe was under cooked. I feel like it was a lot of money for what it was. We love food and when we go out to eat we expect something wow,something that we can't cook up real fast at home. Like I said NOT IMPRESSED

The food simply isn’t the same anymore, the brisket seems of cheaper quality now, no flavor and it just feels very dry, rubbery or overcooked… it also seems like they’ve switched the sauces, just not the same anymore.

Brisket was horrible, no flavor. Asked for sliced brisket sandwich, they served me whst looked like just cut up pieces of Brisket and no flavor to the meat. This isn't the first time this happen, don't know why I went back. Not going back at all!! Too bad for me, cus I love good Brisket BBQ.

I bought a fully loaded potato worst decision I've ever made. I figured I'd stop by and pick it up cuz it's easier just to drive up and cook at home. The potato was overcooked nasty.🧐 The brisket was disappointing. About a half a pound of brisket I did not even look like half a pound didn't even weigh like half a pound. Bad experience, order a chopped and lean brisket sandwich... got a coldlean brisket sandwich.... Returned it... Requested a chopped lean brisket.... Had to go ask if it was ready.... Had been sitting there.... All they did was chopped it... I did get a new sandwich... Tables were dirty... Employees were in a bad mood... Placed order online to be ready by 5:20 and still waiting in the parking lot, its 5:50. No one answers the phones and when they do they just hang up. I got off to ask whats going on and they said my food would be out in 10 mins that was at 5:30. Its been 20 mins and still no food. We see workers just talking and laughing. We are just gonna leave. Food is great but customer service sucks.

Came to eat and the restaurant was dirty and the tables were sticky.. there was no pickles n onions and Flys all around the empty containers. The workers need to learn customer service. They are very rude and unorganized. They need to be trained all over again.

The ribs were disappointing. I expected them to be moist and juicy. NOT salty and dry - difficult to chew, why??? We're they yesterday's? So sad. The cheese & chips were agreeable but I think I am done.

This has to be the worst location ever. This restaurant and its staff will straight up lie to you and steal your money. I had placed an online order on 9/12/24, which included a smoked potato with meat and set the pick up for 9:30pm. When I was in the drive thru line and notified the staff that I was there to pick up my order, they informed me to go to the pick up window. There were two cars ahead of me so no big deal. As I was waiting in line and a couple of minutes AFTER 9:30 (my pick up time) I get a call from the restaurant and I’m assuming the woman I spoke to was a manager, stated they were out of potatoes. She offered to replace the potato with another menu item, but I just wanted a refund. She said she would get the refund done for me. It’s been a month now and I never received a refund, so on top of me being out dinner that night, they stole my money. They will also lie to you about what items they have available. I tried to order the Extra Wild Bill sandwich that I had ordered before at this location, but they stated they never made it at this location and it was only made at their location in McAllen on 10th street. But I even have the receipt from their location with that sandwich on there? I hate this location. I will never, ever recommend this location to anyone. It’s full of thieves and liars. Avoid this location if you can, their food and service are honestly NOT worth it.

Update: Management said owner is aware of the problem but the upcharge is not shown anywhere on the menu or any sign anywhere. Deaceptive practice at best. Tried to order a 3 Meat Combo, they tried to upcharge me because I was ordering two beef meats. Told me it's a new policy, one that didn't exist last week when I dropped by with my wife. It's written nowhere. My policy is places that try to screw customers no longer get my business. There are PLENTY of other places to spend my money at.

Very bad experience, my son send half pound of beef brisket and half rack of moist ribs for Father’s Day. A total of 40.19 dolls, we didn’t like the brisket it had to much fat and ribs very dry and flavorless. We did not eat the meal. Talk to a manager and he did not take care of situation sort. I stick with Ruddies.

My friend and I Ordered online at 11:15 and arrived there at 11:35. We only had an hour for lunch so we ordered ahead for it to be ready or at least almost ready. There was more people in line and getting their food even though they had ordered after us. We waited until 12:15 and just asked for a refund because we had 15 minutes left for lunch. Food is good but terrible service. Girls didn’t even seem to care or give us an estimate time of when the food would be ready. 😡😡😡

We don't normally go to this location, and I'm not sure we ever will again. Although the food is good, the manager is very unprofessional. I had a question that the cashier could not answer, so another employee helped, the female manager then came to me very aggressive and confrontational asking what I needed, for some odd reason she seemed to grow upset when I let her know the other employee had helped me, perhaps because she had to make the walk from the back of the store to the front with customers. The attitude with which she approached me shocks me that she could have ever been selected for a managerial position. The other two employees were kind and helpful, unlike the manager.

First time in and the last time..I ordered a Smoke Fajita plate. 🤨 not even Bar B QUE.. Oven done not on grill..lol

Placed an order for lunch which was moist brisket tacos and was given 4 tortillas with very little meat and a load of pickled onions which I told them to leave off and also the brisket tasted like it was left over from yesterday that's how hard it was . I usually don't call and complain but today I felt like I needed to . I called ask for the manager who greeted me very nicely and was told that she was the one who packed the order and I asked her how she could let food out of her store of this quality and she stated again how she packed this order and it was correct. I asked her if she wanted me to take the food back. She then stated that she would replace the meal and I responded that it was OK and it wasn't needed .but that I would never return to the store again. The quality of food she was letting out was horrible

First and last time buying food in this restaurant. We order 1/2 lb of brisket and 3 sides for $24.72, we wanted to try the food that everyone was talking about and what a shame! Brisket was soo grease, uneatable. My husband is a big fan of brisket and we wanted to give it a try that's way we order very little and it was a good decision. Food wasn't good at all. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I would NOT recommend pre ordering online. I did thinking I would save myself some time. But boy was I wrong. I called when I arrived for my family pack and 20 min later, it's still not ready. I don't think they check online ordering. What a waste of my time. I called again and someone else answered and sounded confused. This is ridiculous!

I ordered 1-1/2 pounds of lean brisket through the drive thru and the lady at the window had told me the wrong order after I tried to correct her. She said hold on and slammed the window on me and eventually came back with my food that I did order. I went back a week or so later and I ordered the same thing and it was the same lady who was in the drive thru and she had done the same thing except tried to charge me 40 bucks for a chicken sandwich which was not what I ordered. She did eventually come back with my brisket. I think she needs to work on her customer service skills.7-28-25.

Ordered online. Went to the curbside for pick up and the phone wasn’t working. Got home and some of our order was missing, but the phone doesn’t work so I couldn’t even call to complain! They did remember to give us a loaf of bread tho! 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️
