Alla Toscana is an authentic place, where, in my opinion, they make the most underrated pizza by the slice in Milan. I see many strengths in their pizza by the slice, and few weaknesses. - It stays crispy despite not being greasy, like many competitors. - The dough is tasty, not too thick. - The ingredients are high-quality. - The large one is really generously sized. Among the weaknesses are perhaps the idea of ​​putting oregano in the tomato sauce and the mozzarella not up to par with the dough (subjective opinions). The farinata is a good way to start. I found it tasty, but one flaw is that I think it was reheated in the microwave and not in a wood-fired oven. The prices are excellent. The location, however, could be improved. Let's hope more authentic places like this are preserved, with local owners ready to get their hands dirty and have a truly enjoyable chat about the history of pizza by the slice in Milan. Pizza by the slice that knows how to respect, and that can be loved by all the regular customers who loudly wish for an opening that is not exclusive to lunch.

The Margherita pizza was cooked very well and was tasty. The oil used wasn't bad either. The girls in the dining room were young and friendly, and also prompt. With the change in management, I was hoping for an improvement in the product. I found the pizza undercooked on the inside and too hard on the bottom. It was difficult to cut, and it also lacked a nice crispy crust on the edge.

A BIG FALSEHOOD ON THE MENU! The menu clearly states small, medium, or large pizza. I chose two small pizzas for takeout, but instead they gave me two small slices when I arrived. Clearly, the marketing they use at this place is unfair. Leaving aside the owner, who isn't rude, but more so! He even insulted me and told me he didn't care about my reviews. NEVER GO THERE! I ordered a pizza with broccoli rabe for €11 per kg, I think...639g. Total €7.50 and no receipt. The broccoli rabe was old and added cold, and the sausage was awful. Sausage and broccoli rabe with tomato sauce was already clearly rubbish. Never again. I should point out that 500 meters away as the crow flies, there's another pizzeria serving by the slice where you can get a good pizza made with healthy ingredients.
