Drinks were great, food was better, and my date was the best 🫶🏽. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation the hostess was welcoming she had us wait at the bar, the bartender was friendly and he made great drinks. Once seated at our table our server was just ok, but the food made up for it. The blue fin and the wagyu were our favorites. My husband booked this and told them it was my birthday, the hostess said hbd, but the waitress forgot and came by after the check and said so sorry just realized it was your bday would you like your dessert now, umm no thank you! We will go back but hopefully not sit in her section.

KAI did not disappoint. Alyssa took great care of us & perfectly took us through the menu. Again, listen to the servers...they've tried all of the food. Be adventurous; everyone has had a CA roll before. Sunny's roll & shishitos to start. Uni & oyster sake shooters, then Lobster Dim Sum. Salmon sashimi & Crispy rice(server suggested) finished the evening. Well done, Alyssa & Brandon. We will be back

I attended a networking event at Kai. We had our own section of the restaurant to ourselves. The staff were wondering, they were fast and efficient, remembering everyone's orders. The atmosphere was pleasant the only issue was it felt very hot in our section of the restaurant and I was not the only attendee that noticed.

Such a beautiful restaurant in Legacy West. Every room is decorated unique and gorgeous. Great color scheme throughout. The food was so good. We went early so the restaurant was only about a third full. For some reason, the hostess kept us waiting 20 minutes, even though we had reservations that we were on time for. When we asked how much longer it would be, she said I'll let you know and walked away. We waited 10 more minutes and went up to say we were leaving and suddenly we were seated.

Cute nice place for a date or special event. I ordered the California sushi rolls which were delicious, and the pork boa buns, which were also good but the pork seemed a little dry for my taste. My husband ordered the Korean spicy lamp chops which he said was good but he's had better , he also got the wok mixed vegetables which had a good grilled taste and a side of white rice which he said was also good . All and all I think we spent $89.00 for the two of us . The atmosphere was romantic and cute depending on where you are seated , they have different rooms , and a bar as well . The service was good and friendly, in general a nice place to have a bite to eat .

We came here for quick bites and drinks. It’s a nice place for it. Great views and decor. However I did not care for the food. The sweet Thai chili sauce on the edamame was not good, also the bbq sauce in the shishito peppers did not mesh well. We didn’t eat it. The calamari was good. I would come back for the ambiance and drinks.

Kai at Legacy West nails it. It’s sleek, lively, and layered with an Asian-inspired vibe that makes you feel like you’re somewhere special. The menu might make you pause when you see the prices, but Kai’s experience is worth the splurge. The restaurant is gorgeous, server was great. Food was mediocre to me at least, I was expecting more because of how nice everything else was. Presentation was beautiful though! (Prices were not as high as I was expecting so that is a bonus.) There is valet, which is also good because parking at legacy can be a hassle. They brought my group a stand for our purses which was very considerate. It can get kind of loud in here. There is an elevator! Again, food wasn't anything crazy, the chicken was a bit rubbery, but the vibe is still worth it.

Unfortunately the food has gone down significantly. Fired rice is way too salty. Salmon in the salad was frozen - although the flavors with the dragon fruit were amazing. Lobster tacos and chicken were fabulous but bread pudding was burnt. Presentation is stellar. Atmosphere is so fun. Service is top notch. So sad - this used to be one of our favorites!!

Love trying new restaurants but every now and again you return to a classic. Me and a friend made a last-minute decision to visit Kāi for sushi and perhaps live music. The food is good but be prepared for smaller portions. The margarita, however is next level. There are two choices: $18 and $42. The difference in price depends on which size you choose. I chose the smaller of the two; beautiful presentation (see review pics). Me and my friend had the best seats in the house. We were situated between the restaurant and the lounge and could easily see people coming and going. I recommend going for food then staying for the music.

I made reservations at KAI to celebrate my anniversary, and I was a little disappointed with the overall experience. At most places, special occasions are acknowledged in some way, but nothing was mentioned here. The seating was also very tight. The tables were so close together that it felt like we were part of a party of six even though it was just the two of us, which made it hard to enjoy a private, intimate evening. As for the food, it wasn’t the best and definitely didn’t match the price point. I don’t mind paying more for a great experience, but this one didn’t feel worth it.

Extremely disappointing and disrespectful experience. We dined here and spent over $500 on dinner. After paying the bill, we stayed for barely 5-10 minutes just to finish our conversation - and suddenly the waiter came over and said, “My manager said they need the table.” We had literally just paid and were wrapping up. It was shocking and honestly very embarrassing. We went to speak with the manager, ALYSA CLARK, and she was completely unapologetic and not pleasant at all. When we asked to speak to her manager, ASHLEY REEVES, we were told that “they do this sometimes,” like it was totally normal to rush out guests who just spent hundreds of dollars. This is extremely disrespectful customer service. I have never felt so unwelcome after paying that much for a meal. It completely ruined the evening for me and my guest. I honestly can’t say why we were treated this way, but the whole situation made us feel singled out and very uncomfortable - almost like we were being targeted. That feeling alone is unacceptable. We will never return, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect after dining.

Sushi !!

I could give it zero stars! I ordered a take out. Fried rice was very stale and lacked flavor. It was an egg fried rice, I could barely find any egg in it. Eggplant miso was very bland and oily, it didn’t taste good at all. One of the worst restaurants to try in legacy west.
