Food was very authentic and delicious. Staff was also friendly. We got kabab platter, goat karahi and beef nihari. Everything was tasty! Naans were also fresh and fluffy
One of the best places in Plano for truly authentic Pakistani food. The flavors are rich, well-balanced, and taste just like home. Everything we ordered was fresh, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent—staff were welcoming, attentive, and happy to explain the dishes. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, making it a great spot for both family dinners and casual outings. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine with great service.
I ordered the Chicken Karara and Beef Haleem, and both dishes were great. The Chicken Karara was just the right amount of spice, bursting with flavor in every bite. The Beef Haleem was beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Overall, a delicious and satisfying meal.
Lahore Kabab in Frisco is a true gem for anyone craving genuine Pakistani flavors. From the very first bite, you can tell the food is made with heart and heritage! The Halwa Puri was a perfect weekend treat — crispy puris, soft and flavorful halwa, and chana cooked to perfection. The Paya and Beef Nihari were nothing short of incredible — rich, aromatic, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, just like you’d find in the streets of Lahore. And don’t leave without trying their Meethi Lassi — it’s smooth, creamy, and the perfect way to end a hearty meal. The staff is warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. Whether you’re visiting for brunch or dinner, this place captures the true spirit of Pakistani comfort food. Highly recommended! 🇵🇰❤️
I had an excellent experience at this desi restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff greeted us with genuine hospitality. The service was attentive without being rushed, which made the entire dining experience very comfortable. The food was the real highlight here—absolutely 10/10! The biryani was perfectly cooked with rich spices, aromatic rice, and just the right balance of flavors that really reminded me of authentic home-style cooking. The kebabs were juicy, tender, and clearly made with fresh meat, which made a huge difference in taste. And to top it all off, the chai ☕️ was served hot, flavorful, and soothing—the best way to end the meal. What I truly loved about this place is that you’re going to remember the desi flavor long after you leave. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentic. It’s rare to find a spot that gets all three right—food, service, and atmosphere—but this restaurant really does. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best desi food experience in town!
I ordered Chicken Karara - chicken pieces with bone, marinated with chicken tikka masala. There was an overdose of Masala but it was nicely char-coaled with 1 lightly buttered naan. I ordered an extra naan. There were about 6 to 8 small to medium sized pieces served with some lettuce, raw onions and sliced green chili (serrano)., along with raita (yogurt with cilantro). I also took bottle of water. The total came out to be $23 (inclusive of tax and tip). Also the restaurant closes earlier than the times mentioned on here and there is no buffet. I went in at Dinner time. The seating arrangement is modest but nice.
Cheap set up and the guy was not friendly. He just tried to get us to order more so he could make a buck. I asked him for 2 little kids if 1 chicken kabobs sandwich would be good. He said no and I ordered 2...they came out and 1 was more than enough for 1 kid. We will not be going here again.
We went to Lahori Kabab in Plano. The Haleem and Goat Karahi were very tasty. The Chicken Tikka Masala was good too. But the food took a long time to come out, and the portions were small. The restaurant didn’t look very clean, and we saw that some buffet items from the morning were still out at night and not cleaned up properly. This was our second visit. The first time, we actually found a staple in the food, which was really bad. We came back because the food tastes good, but they really need to improve the cleanliness, service, and portion sizes.
Chicken Karara used to be good, but the last order was salty and smelled off. Chicken Malai Tikka seemed frozen and hard. After 4 orders in 2 weeks with inconsistent quality, I’m done.
Ordered two days in a row because had guests over and they wanted nihari and karahi ghost. I know nihari and this was not nihari. They need to really get the flavor and taste right. This was a real disappointment. Meat was ok but there was no taste in nihari. Was excited that there was a Desi supposedly Pakistani nihari place near here. But will stick to the original Al Markaz nihari and karahi and Lal Qila. They are definitely worth the drive. Really wanted this to be good. So disappointed. Hate giving bad reviews but please guys if you read this please YouTube nihari and karahi and get it right.
I've been coming to this place for a long time as a takeout, never really had issues except they never had Goat Biryani anytime I asked for it. Tonight is my first time dining in, & the service was some of the worst I've encountered in a long time. The water pitcher looked nasty & looked so dirty & wasn't cleaned properly. We had to ask for cups & napkins, & it wasn't given to us as most restaurants would provide. For a free dessert, they ask you write a good review for them. I asked for a Kulfi, & they didn't have it. So got Gulab Jamun instead. My wife ordered Gulab Jamun as well. I wrote the review, & got the dessert. However, the guy who was serving us named Sam S on our receipt was so forgetful, he forgot my wife's dessert. She reminded him again, & he misunderstood us & got us extra Gulab Jamun. My free dessert came with 2 Gulab Jamuns. My wife's came with 6. My wife said that we ordered 2 servings of the Gulab Jamun, 2 pieces for me & 2 for my wife. The guy misunderstood us & gave us 6 pieces. I explained this to him, & he waived off the prices of the Desserts. The guy wasn't really attentive & displayed a poor attitude towards us too. If you have to ask your customers to write a good review for you, then probably means your service is really bad as displayed here tonight.
IN 2025 THEY WERE SHUT DOWN AND SEALED UP BY CITY OF PLANO INSPECTORS. THERE WAS ROACH INFESTATION IN THE KITCHEN. RAW MEAT WERE LEFT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. THERE WERE RATS ON THE PREMISES. THERE WERE MANY HORRIBLE THINGS FOUND IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY. U CAN GOOGLE AND FIND A COPY OF THE INSPECTION REPORT THAT SHUT THEM DOWN. I LOVED THEIR FOOD AND WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER. NKW I AM DISGUSTED TO LEARN HOW HORRIBLE AND CARELESS THE OWNER WAS AND HOW HE WAS FEEDING NASTY FOOD TO ME AND MY FAMILY WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Update: I made a quick visit after they reopened to inspect the restaurant. This time the kitchen door was shut closed. Obviously they don’t want to see what’s going on in the kitchen. Before they were shut down, there was no kitchen door. Also, I used the men’s restroom and found The soap does not dispense and the hand dryer does not work. Seems like the owner is still running things in his careless and negligible way. I wanted to reevaluate them to order again, but after seeing these, I just couldn’t order food and eat here anymore.
Last year, I ordered nihari turned out 4/5 Bihari kabab, turned out 4.5/5. Yesterday I ordered two chicken rolls (wraps) in naan. The chicken tasted like It was microwaved. And the green chutney on the side went bad. ^^ a couple of months ago. Edit: 3/10/2025 Nihari went down to below average. It's edible but has no taste. Color was dark brown rather than reddish brown. They overcooked the nihari. Doesn't break as easily as it should. There's a test you can do, take a naan piece and press it down against the meat, if it's cooked properly, it'll be soft and break easily. If it's overcooked, pressing down won't do anything, it'll just stay together. I asked for lemons, onions and cilantro. What they gave me was raw onions for some reason, not even fried, lemons were tiny, barely got any juice out of it, and they gave lettuce instead of cilantro. The lettuce isn't even fresh. Naan was more on the crisp side than the soft, stretchy side. Chai was decent. Also saw the veggies plate had sugar on the bottom. Either it was an accident or they gave me a dirty plate. Well I'll stop coming here. Not worth the 24 bucks for nihari, chai, and 2 naans.
