Amazing place of many coffees, teas and hot chocolate. My friends in Kansas City always ask me to bring back a bag of the Major Dickasons. One of their best sellers. They also have assorted snack items to complement their beverages. A Berkeley original that has blossomed into a huge success

Went there with my wife, daughter, and friends they all love the darker roasts. My dauggter likes their hot chocolate. I don't drik coffee, but the pastries are very good, esp the lemon bread

Great coffee and a place in the Pleasant Hill Square with fire pit. Great baristas and food and movie theater and shopping right next door. Zack's pizza if you great Chicago pizza.Plunty of parking and cool atmosphere.

Great service and very helpful. The french toast request was perfect. Must be that the machines for my request are the best in town. My coffee is perfect every morning. I'll be back. Very knowledgeable folks.

This peets is fantastic! Excellent service, exceptional baristas, and a pleasant atmosphere inside and out. Plenty of easy access parking. Great location close to the highway.

Should this be a review for Pete or should it be for the breakfast sandwich that has my heart a friend of mine introduced me to the waffle chicken sandwich I have to admit I have a problem. Besides my new recent addiction this place was clean. Service was fast. Coffee was hotand I am completely satisfied, but I can’t stop thinking about this chicken waffle sandwich if it were cheaper I would buy it in a six pack.

A grateful place to have a business meeting. They have wifi and great indoor and outdoor seating. They have lots of snacks and goodies to make your coffee They way you want it. This location has a nice calm environment (unless busy) and the service is fast and friendly. A great spot to have a cup of coffee

It's always great coffee... and even better service. Every time I go, the staff is friendly, eager to serve, and always provides exceptional customer service! Petes is always my go-to coffee full of flavor and always the perfect caffeine dose... usually double or triple shot! 😉

Fairly small coffee shop, and doesn't have too many outlets to plug your computer in, but has a good ambiance and isn't too loud. I prefer Peets over Starbucks as the drinks seem to be more consistent. Prices are about the same and taste is subjective, but comparing iced mocha drinks, Peets is less sweet (which I prefer)

I prefer Peet's over Starbucks. Coffee seems fresher and definitely has more of a kick to it. Perfect for my afternoon crash. Overpriced, of course, but worth it for pick me up once in awhile.

I hate to admit it but Im showing a bit of bias on this one. Peets is my favorite coffee and the only better for me is my own or some local shops. Very good pasteries and they hire quality people.

starbucks is preferred but Pete's is up there . if you really want a good coffee experience visit a Dutch Brothers.

Used to work here. Since they have gone public they seem to have lost their focus on the purity of the coffee bean. They have an open air display for the baked goods and I have seen flies land on the croissant I was going to buy, luckily they still had some in the back. The coffee still tastes great.

While this place is typically packed an a line out the door. Since they now require proof of vaccine or a negative test to enter…for coffee. There’s like no one inside. So if you want to get coffee with no lines. This is your place I guess. But don’t worry. The hair salon next door doesn’t require it.

The crew was friendly, energetic...but my mocha was warm, not hot. I guess it's aPeet's thing, because I've never recieved a "hot" beverage, even though it is a "hot" beverage...they are always just warm..

There was something wrong with the drip coffee but I did not have time to go back and complain. Tasted like flavored water. Scone was good, but I went for coffee.

Been going to this location for years. Last year we got a puppy which I would carry under my arm (7 lbs) while in the store and order my coffee and leave immediately once I received my order. Never a problem or anything said to me - until last week when the manager told me I had to wait outside. Not sure if it's the law but disappointed and not feeling welcome there anymore. Sad.

Coffee and Tea is good, but the staff is unbelievable. There was a very long line and while I entered there were two cashiers and one barista. While the line got longer one of the cashiers decided to pack coffee instead of serving the crowd. But my personal highlight was the fourth person (obviously at the end of her shift) leaving with her Starbucks mug. If you don't stand behind your company, why work there? After this experience I also switch back to Starbucks. This was my first and last Peets.

Worst Remodel of any Peets I’ve ever seen! Bizarre layout of tables with chairs intruding into pickup and order space. Lines for orders start at end of store creating a logjam of coming and going! Long shelf in middle taking up open space! Whoever signed off on this design should be fired! Total embarrassment that’s not comfortable to relax in! Next time I’ll go to Concord.

This coffee shop is one of our most frequently visited places—sometimes we come here 4-5 times a week. Recently, after the renovations, the furniture was replaced, which is acceptable. However, the worst part is that, unlike before, where customers could walk straight to the cashier upon entering, now they have to go around a loop. It's incredibly cramped and chaotic. Sitting by the window feels uncomfortable, as it seems like everyone is scrutinizing what's on our computer screens. The constant weaving and crowding of customers make the place feel messy and disorganized. Because of this, we prefer going to the nearby French dessert shop instead. Today, we overheard several customers saying the new layout has turned the shop into a chaotic mess. Hopefully, it can be reverted soon.

B) They have only 2 outlets for the entire store which are hardly accessible, which is very inconvenient and despite this branch being open for many years seems like, their customer's comfort is least of their concerns otherwise this issue would have been addressed by now. C) Once I was sitting there working, the barista kept coming a couple of inches from me showing in the chairs (inches from me) or making adjustments to the stuff around me (within very close approximately), like my privacy was unimportant or my comfort did not matter. (or maybe I would have been considered important or a legit customer have I been White and not middle eastern) Overall not a pleasant experience and it is obvious customers are not concerned about this branch whatsoever based on the reasons mentioned above. I would appreciate if the leaders that are going to respond to this review, instead of using cliche tactics or excuses such as arguing why the restrooms should have a lock to prevent the homeless from camping there, be more reasonable with their responses and do something to improve customers experience!

Not great. 30 minutes for coffee is way too long. Arrived at 10am - granted this was a Saturday. Waited in line for 10 minutes to place our order. Tried to use the bathroom - it was filthy, no headgaskets, no toilet paper, no towels, no soap, no sanitizer. That should have been a tip off to cancel our order and leave! Waited another 20 minutes for our order. Finally gave up. We had a hard stop at 10:30 and had to leave w/o our order. It was NOT a complicated order!!! This location is horribly understaffed.

They close at 7pm but closes the restrooms @ 6:30pm because they already cleaned them. Feels like very poor customer service/lazy employees.

I was looking forward to grabbing a coffee on my day off. However, there were two people smoking on the bench right outside the front entrance. As a severe asthmatic, I couldn’t even get a coffee, as cigarette smoke triggers asthma attacks for me. Severely disappointed.

As I sit here watching the 3 young lady's behind the counter talking about their favorite shows, food and activities I notice the overfilled trash can, filthy floors and dirty dishes laying around. To top it off they customers ahead of me are walking out disappointed with there coffee and I am left to wonder what mine will come out like, whenever that happens, i have been waiting for 14 minutes now. Not a good experience nor a place I would like to revisit. Maybe the next crew will pick up the pace.

As I sit here watching the 3 young lady's behind the counter talking about their favorite shows, food and activities I notice the overfilled trash can, filthy floors and dirty dishes laying around. To top it off they customers ahead of me are walking out disappointed with there coffee and I am left to wonder what mine will come out like, whenever that happens, i have been waiting for 14 minutes now. Not a good experience nor a place I would like to revisit. Maybe the next crew will pick up the pace.

While this has happened several times in the past at this branch (yes, only at this branch), today is the last straw (no pun intended). We won't be coming back to this branch.

It's no wonder peets is closing 30 locations this year, have a better system in place for the employees job duties so they aren't constantly bouncing around.
