Había mucha gente pero nos sentamos enseguida. El plato de bacalao muy bueno y sopas ricas. Es un restaurante pequeño y sencillo pero con comida rica y buen de precio.

Después de tres días en Oporto probando sitios de precio prohibitivo para las cantidades que ponían, que eran escuetas, hemos dado con este sitio de casualidad. La comida de una calidad bastante aceptable, muy buen trato, postres caseros y un ambiente familiar y acogedor. Recomendado para no gastarte un ojo de la cara en Oporto, y prácticamente en el centro.

La verdad es que el sitio es muy típico portugués una tasquiña de toda la vida , nosotros pedimos pulpo a La brasa que estaba espectacular

Tiene comida típica portuguesa, son rápidos al servir. Tienen opciones SIN GLUTEN, pescado fresco. Comí bacalao con patatas y cebollas. Estaba muy rico

A proper family run traditional taberna, very friendly owner and staff who are only happy to help. Food was very good, served quickly and enjoyed every bit. The octopus and rice was the best we had, and the veal in port very good also. Sat outside, plenty of space but did fill up after about 19:30. Also has an inside space.

Our AirBnB host recommended this restaurant and it was a very good recommendation. The food was delicious, very traditional, and fairly priced. The service was awesome. It was my birthday and they gave me a traditional dessert for free which was so yummy. Thank you all for a great night and for the wonderful food. We sat outside so I'm not sure what the atmosphere was like inside. Very central location, easy to get to.

We had a wonderful dinner in the city center and were so glad we stumbled upon this place. The *bacalhau à Braga* was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We paired it with *Água das Pedras* and the *vinho da casa*, both of which complemented the meal perfectly. The food was excellent, typical Portuguese cuisine at its best—rich in flavor, comforting, and made with care. What really made the evening special was the staff. They were extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We didn’t even need a reservation, which was a pleasant surprise in such a central and popular spot. A cozy, authentic experience with amazing food and warm hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!

Good food at reasonable prices! For lunch I took fried cod with rice, my wife just cod as appetizer. Very tasty and huge portions - mine could have been enough for both. Half a liter of white wine - of mediocre quality - and all that for slightly above Eur 20. Service was good, fast, efficient. We were sitting inside - it was ok, though we preferred to sit outside but there was no free table…

We tried the pataniscas de bacalhau com Arroz de tomate and it was delicious. Took less than 10 minutes to arrive. The waitress was very polite and attentive.

Restaurante típico portugués, con platos tradicionales. Estaban muy buenos y las raciones son grandes. Es acogedor y tranquilo, al menos en la temporada que fuimos nosotros. No siempre tienen tripas de Oporto, ya que fuimos ahí para probarlas y ese día no tenían.

Cenamos allí, la cena muy rica y el servicio amable. La comida estaba buena , estuvimos en el salón de dentro porque la terraza estaba llena. Recomendable .

Al entrar las espectativas no eran muy altas, pero si hemos estado muy bien, la comida bien, la atencion bien y el precio mejor que en muchos otros sitios. La mesa un poco justa para 4 personas, pero bien.

Cozy and laidback spot to eat portugal food! Came for a late lunch. Got octopus rice/fried sardine/the traditional cake dessert. The food was tasty overall, especially the fried sardine, which was so good! although I wish I got more octopus in the rice. The staff and the owner were friendly, but the older lady who also served sometimes was not super friendly, but the overall experience was good!

The food is almost on par with home cooking, serving hearty and delicious dishes. The portions are generous, the service is quick, and the prices are pretty reasonable. The seating is not comfortable so this is a place to eat and go.

Nice service, traditional environment and Fair price. The roasted veal had too much fat and the tomato rice was a bit too aqueous. However I highly recommend trying the pataniscas if you wanna have an authentic experience of the real Portuguese culinary!

The waiters are not that kind and friendly, the place inside looks nice and typical, although the kitchen is very very dirty and messy and there are dirty dishes spread everywhere. It's almost disgusting. The price/quality and quantity ratio is very solid, the food wasn't bad at all: the sardines were quite good, the rice was a little bit overcooked but tasted not bad. The patanisca of Cod fish were a little bit too heavy and the least good thing we ate. We spent 12 euro each and ate a lot, the portions are quite big. It's a good place to eat typical food, at a decent quality and to get out full.

El trato ha sido correcto en todo momento y el lugar bastante bien sin embargo el bacalao que hemos pedido estaba excesivamente salado, yo soy una persona que suele pedir sal en todos los restaurantes porque todo me parece soso,sin embargo el plato me ha resultado muy difícil de comer, aunque se lo hemos comentado a la camarera que ha estado muy amable en todo momento, me ha comentado que quizás sea una percepción personal, que ya digo yo que no, pero bueno..., repetiría el sitio, el trato fue amable y correcto y seguro que la opción de comida de hoy no la escogería.

No repetiría. Fue el sitio que menos nos gustó de Oporto. Entramos por las buenas reseñas y qué decepción. Es cierto que el personal es muy agradable y atento, pero la comida deja mucho que desear. Pedimos un plato y luego nos dijeron que no quedaba. Finalmente comimos picaña (no dejaba de ser un filete de ternera muy reseco con arroz blanco) y bacalao a la portuguesa. El bacalao era un despropósito, estaba tieso y recalentado una y otra vez, cebolla quemada y la salsa sin ningún sabor, pues solo era ACEITE. Una pena con lo delicioso que es este plato en otros sitios, como Laurear. Para colmo, fue el sitio más CARO en el que comimos en los 6 días que estuvimos en Oporto.

Apparently there was only one guy as the server for like 30 tables. I get that if you're alone you have to do a lot of things at once but PLEASE hire more staff or it would result in a terrible service! it's surely not the waiter's fault if he was left alone AT 12 pm, but still he was sweating and asked our orders in such rush that he did not even asked us what we wanted to drink. Terrible service, food was great
