Comida de peregrino estupenda con zamburiñas i buen pulpo. Todos los platós sabrosos. Hay que destacar la atencion de David que nos atendió muy bien. Y nos aconsejó correctamente sobre qué vino está el más adecuado a los platos que pedimos. Super para una larga caminata.

Llegamos a Puerto Marin y Cenamos allí, Puedes disfrutar de Pulpo Asado y a la Gallega, también tienen Salmon y scallops Estuvo Rico, lo mejor fue el pulpo a la gallega... Esta ubicado en la calle principal. Buen servicio y precios justos.

He comido hoy en el restaurante Xoanes y la experiencia ha sido excelente. El pulpo estaba espectacular, en su punto y con un sabor increíble. Quiero destacar especialmente la atención de David y Liz: ambos muy profesionales y atentos. David destaca por su cercanía y por la energía tan positiva que transmite, una vibra de esas que te alegran la comida. Liz, por su parte, demuestra una gran elegancia y profesionalidad en su trato. Un equipo fantástico que hace que te sientas realmente bien atendido. ¡Enhorabuena al restaurante!

Comimos el chuletón de ternera y fue increíble!!! Ensalada perfecta y la tortilla perfecta! La atención muy especial y los precios razonables. Me encantó y lo recomiendo, están abiertos mas tiempo de lo que usualmente hay en la zona. David muchas gracias por tu atención la pasamos increíbles

Restaurante Xoanes, comida y carta exquisita, servicio amable y rápido y gran ambiente. Para el mediodia comimos chuletón vaca (buenísimo) acompañado de la tortilla de patata estilo Betanzos (un 10). Para la cena quisimos probar sus zamburiñas, el pulpo con queso y puré de patata y la tarta de queso. Recomendable 💯

Every dish at this restaurant was delicious, and they can customize the dishes according to personal preferences. Since the supermarket was closed that day, we couldn’t buy the eggs we wanted. The restaurant was extremely kind and sold us 16 eggs at the supermarket price. We are extremely grateful for their help.

David is amazing asset for the restaurant and adds the last youch of the good food and atmosphere which are making this place standing above the others around.

While we had a wonderful and tasty dinner, our first impression was not the best. We met early in the day the owner of the place who isn't the most welcoming person. My recommendation would be for the owner to shout less and be more appreciative. A smile on your face wouldn't hurt. We almost didn't give the place a chance because of the owner, but we didn't regret our decision to actually go there. Our waiter David made us forget about the earlier bad encounter. He was great, attentive, friendly, and always with a big happy smile on his face. The owner is lucky to have such amazing employees. We also want to compliment the chef's cooking. We wiped our dishes clean, because it was so tasty.

The rib eye steak was absolutely amazing! We got fries and soup. The special recipe sangria was powerful. Our server was excellent. Because we were celebrating a special occasion he gave us two dessert drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant. It deserves all the amazing reviews l.

We had our first visit to Xoanes for dinner after our first day of the camino walk. The restaurant was busy but we got seats right away. The food blew us away - we didn't expect much for a small town but the secret pork was amazing. The charcoal flavour seeped through the whole pork. The pulpo was the most tender that we had throughout the 6 day walk as well. It was so amazing we decided to come back a second time after we finished the walk specifically to try their ribeye steak which was priced at a very reasonable rate. We came back for lunch and were one of the first customers that day. Ribeye did not disappoint but the pork was not as good as the first time unfortunately - not to say that it was not flavourful, but it wasn't as perfect as the first time around. We also got some complimentary shots after the lunch, possibly since they're not as busy as the first time around. We definitely would come back but maybe for dinner the next time to get another shot on the delicious secret pork!

wonderful experience. I stopped for a light meal after my trek from Sarria. I just had a soup and wine ( and nice chat with the host). I saw and smelled the Rib Eye special; the hot assured me that the small (1kg) steak was doable for one with a nice wine to meld with the meal :-) I came back for that for dinner. And it was great! Top of list of steaks I've had. All the staff were great, the host in particular was just great, conversant , while doing a great job balancing seating, and keeping the flow.... very good .. It was quite busy this time of year, so maybe a madhouse during prime season, but darn good!

Amazing food, wonderful staff, all around top notch experience after a long hike in the Camino. There were smokers at the adjacent table and our server pleasantly asked the smokers to smoke away from their table. The Albariño and pulpo gallega were delicious. The best octopus I’ve ver had. Do not hesitate to visit Sit down relax and enjoy a wonderful meal!

Amazing steak, pimientos de padron, good wine. After 14.5 miles on the Camino it’s the perfect dinner. Steak is served on a hot grill so you can finish it to perfect temperature! Extra points for the enthusiastic service and complimentary shot!

Perfect place to eat after a long day walking on the Camino. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was great and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Comida auténtica de la zona. Fuimos un grupo de peregrinos de 4 personas, la comida estuvo buena, en particular, lo que más nos gustó de este local fue el raxo y la tarta de orujo (recomendamos que la prueben). Las raciones podrían ser un poco más grandes, pero en general todo muy bien.

Almorzamos dos personas casi a las 16H y nos acogieron igualmente sin problema. La comida está bien. Y el personal muy agradable y atento. Por cortesía de la casa nos regalaron 2 chupitos. Además está en un buen entorno, centro del pueblo, y con terraza exterior. Lo recomiendo.

Totalmente recomendado. La tortilla está espectacular y las croquetas también aunque le faltan cremosidad. Si vas a Portomarín es un acierto comer en este restaurante.

Very friendly staffs with delicious food for lunch after walking from Sarria to Portomarin. Beautiful location next to the chapel while enjoy the food and wine!
