Consistency is key and they execute it well here, my burgers are always what I expect them to be, friendly service is always a plus

The food served is definitely fresh, but its rather expensive. You can easily spend $30 on 2 burgers and 2 fries for 2 people there. The fries are made in peanut oil instead of vegetable oil. Definitely better tasting. Also, there is free refills on the fountain drink. Good food, but expensive.

Great Five Guys location. They responded to the pandemic early and were doing phone orders in like March. Really commend them for adapting with the times and keeping the establishment clean and aired out.

Their hamburgers put Mc Donald's & Burger King to shame! It's heaven on a bun!! 😋 They are a little pricey, but worth every penny. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. A pleasant place to enjoy a meal.

I always love coming to any five guys. The food is always scrumptious, and the fries are to die for, simply amazing. I come rarely, because it's pricey. For 2 people to eat, your looking at close to $35-$40, but it's worth it for the treat. A major plus with me is that they have my all time favorite drink, Melow (Mellow) Yellow. I highly recommend this place to anyone of any age.

Always good service and a great burger cooked fresh. Wait time is a little longer but its because they have to cook to order. Fries are fresh cut and cooked fresh and you get alot extra. For two we get the little fry size and its plenty. I did get a shake today and it was ok.

This is by far the best place I've ever eaten a burger and fries! The fries are super fresh and hot because they are made to order and from real potatoes. The burgers....just awesome ! The shakes are amazing, I love their peanutbutter milkshakes, OMG! They are very reasonably priced and the wait isn't long at all, I'm telling you, I am seriously picky and I have never found anything negative to say other than my belly hurt from being too full!

The best kosher style hotdog. Missing the sauerkraut and nyc style onions but still good. They have the best french fries and they give you a ton of them. Love the diet soda combos they offer and of course free refills. All of the restaurants are clean.

By far a very epic experience. I ate and then left. But beforehand my friend and I ate peanuts for 25 minutes and gave up on our other friend ever showing up, i hope hes ok. But wait, he did, WOWZA! We all got glizzys with extra grease and I poured salt all over my cuts it was cool as heck. The burger i ate was a very good burger that tasted like burger. I heard it was Zagat rated and i was very intrigued.

Phenomenal customer service at this location. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered a couple of milkshakes and they had no problem remaking one of the shakes for us when we pointed out there was too much flavoring mixed in.

If you've been to Five Guys, you know what I'm going to say. If you haven't, you should give one a try. They definitely make the burgers fresh, always well done, and come with two patties by default. If that's one too much, ask for the little burgers. The option for bacon burgers is a definite plus. Hotdogs (also available with bacon) for those not looking for a burger. Milkshakes (with bacon) and fountain drinks are available, along with bottled water. They offer regular and Cajun spice fries and are always made to order. They'll even wait until you pick up your online order to make they fries so that they are hot and fresh. Last time I was there I had a bacon burger (that's two patties) with grilled mushrooms, grilled jalapeños, and BBQ sauce (all toppings are free!). Chocolate milkshake with Oreo cookies, and regular fries. Go get you some!

Went in the other day and ordered a little cheeseburger with just ketchup. Sometimes I feel judged for having such a “basic” order...not at Poughkeepsie Five Guys! Rocío on the register was extremely professional and friendly! She even complimented me which was appreciated since I’d had a long day. I’m always crossing my fingers she is working when I go in!! A boy named Josiah made my burger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had by a long shot! Finally an employee named Luke handed me my order and told me to have a good day with such confidence and leadership skills I couldn’t believe my ears when he said he wasn’t a manager! I asked these 3 for their names specifically to leave this review..best employees I’ve ever seen in my life, no exaggeration. Rocío, Josiah and Luke would make me leave 10 stars if I could!!!! The manager Sylvia was awesome too! She’s clearly doing something right.

Five guys never disappoints. The burgers and fries are made to order and are excellent. They offer peanuts while you wait for your food. Every location I have been to is very good food is always consistent across the chain. I find the french fries too salty to my liking. They never complained when I ask for no salt on my French fries. They offer toppings galore. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, cheese, mushrooms. They offer shakes which I have never had but hear are extremely good. The soda machine offers many many different choices, refills are never a problem. All locations are very quick, clean with very nice staff. The bathrooms are very clean. No wonder they consistently are named the best cheap eats in many publications. Two meals for twelve dollars is certainly a bargain. Will happily return ... Many more times.

Five guys, to put it simply, is one of the very best fast food joints in the country. Its reasonably priced for what the food is, the fries are delicious and come in generous portions, and the bugs are each shaped by hand, and lack that awful "factory" feel most fast food has. Just don't eat here if you: A): are allergic to peanuts, as this place will wind up being a serious hazard for you, (They serve free peanuts and use peanut oil to fry their fries) Or B) are looking for anything remotely healthy. Delicious it may be, good for you it ain't.

Been a few years since I’ve been to a Five Guys. Was glad to see it’s still actual food and not what all the other places are doing. Was also clean and the staff was super nice.

It reminds me of when I was a kid at a 4th of July celebration waiting for that cheese burger then you get it and it's like...OH MY GOD the grilled burgers, melted cheese ketchup and bun. So simple so good. Thank you it's wonderful when food brings back good memories.

Of all the fast food joints that I have eaten, Five Guys is the only fast food that I can digest within somewhat of a reasonable amount of time. The bacon cheeseburger was juicy and had a lot of taste. The taste of beef was good, the taste of bacon was good, and the taste of the cheese was good. There was no blandness. The chocolate milkshake was thick and had a good taste. The staff was friendly and hard working.

You pay more here, but you get more here. Sure, you can get a burger and fries and McDonald's for cheaper, but it's also cheaper quality. This restaurant location is the favorite burger spot for my group of friends and family. Always clean, service is fast, except when it is busy (obviously). Pick times wisely because a popular place like this has been known to have a line out the door at peak serving hours. Ordering ahead online/over the phone can greatly reduce wait times. If you do so, be sure that they know when you get there! If you don't speak up at the pick-up counter they may not ask you if you have received food, made that mistake once. Just give whoever is there a friendly heads up about your online/phone order. They will wait to cook your fries until you do arrive so that they are still hot and fresh, which is worth a two-minute wait while you grab your drink or milkshake. I've never had a bad experience with the staff, they are always helpful and friendly. I give 5 stars because this place does exactly what it's designed to do in a friendly way for prices that are reasonable.

The fries are why I go there. The burgers and diy soda are ok. But the Shakes are AWFUL!!! The staff can't be next, though.

One of my top five burger places...burgers are juicy and any topping is included in the cost of burger which is a bit more pricy than other burger places but worth it...the small single patty cheeseburger is perfect for me but hubby prefers the double patty bacon cheeseburger which is substantial. Fries are something else...tendency to be flimsy not crisp and when you add the vinegar and salt they're limp!..I prefer the all you can eat peanuts.

If you want a fancy burger that's healthy for you, this place isn't it. The grease soaks the bag, but don't mistake me, this by no means is a bad review. I ENJOYED my BURGER. It's the kinda burger perfection you get from a grill and the greasy fries to go with it. This place is my absolute guilty pleasure and I wouldn't go there unless I'm serious about some "feel good" food.

This Five Guys was awesome, especially being my first time at one. Ordered a cheesburger with mushrooms and then cooked it really well. But they give you a mountain of fries which i had to dig my burger out of. Overall great food

Always great if you want a good burger, at a decent price. Their milkshakes, and fries are fantastic. I like their business model. Not too much on the menu, but its all good. Their soda machine is cool too. Touchscreen, and more variety than most fast food places. Where else do you find mr pibb with 4 choices? I'm not crazy for it, but having the option makes a difference. If you have to wait a bit snag some peanuts, because they get busy.

Never seems to disappoint. I've heard that Five Guys is expensive but don't agree. Their burgers are consistent and are on par or better than most local establishments. As far as fast food they dont even compare with the big three, and when you get a meal at any of those franchises it is the same price. The Poughkeepsie Five Guys is always clean and quick to make your food. Online ordering is a breeze. Plenty if seating and peanuts.

This may be somewhat of a controversial take,but to my experience,the burgers I purchased in the Poughkeepsie location vary somewhat from the Fishkill store. Don't get me wrong,any Five Guys visit is absolute heaven. The flavor profile of their burgers is something that can't be duplicated by any diner or typical fast food venue. It's just that when I brought home my dinner from the Poughkeepsie location,I discovered that the burgers had a slightly more greasier subsistence. I will add another crucial point.The customer service staff is outstanding.I filled out a survey after a previous visit where I indicated a slight issue with missing toppings. I didn't expect anything to come of it,and didn't want to.One day after completion of the survey,I received a Email from the Head of Customer service stating their profound apologies,AND sent me gift cards for the ENTIRE PRICE OF MY LAST PURCHASE. That is just a gesture you rarely see these days.True valuation of a retail customer is hard to come by,and seldom felt by me. This attention was an act that will absolutely retain me as a loyal client. Enjoy!

Five Guys has the best fries, hands down. You just can’t beat fresh, hand cut fries. Their burgers are awesome too and if you haven’t tried their milkshakes you are missing out. Their delivery service was really good as well. The driver was polite and even got to us early. I will definitely use it again. My only issue with any of these delivery services and corporate restaurants is the price. I got a plain cheeseburger, a bacon cheeseburger and a large fry and it cost me $50!! To me that is crazy. It’s so expensive, in fact, that I rarely use any delivery services. You pay a service fee, a delivery fee and a tip for the driver. What really blew my mind is that their suggested tip was 30%. Really?! That’s more than what you tip a waiter for a sit down meal in a restaurant. What is the service charge for anyway?? The food is already expensive to begin with. If you guys can’t cover your operating expenses charging $11 for a plain cheeseburger then something is wrong with your business model. All of the corporate restaurants are getting to be as bad a Ticketmaster or Big Pharma. You want to sell more burgers? Make it more affordable. You have an excellent product, the burgers sell themselves so stop with all the ridiculous fees.

Burgers are very good, being juicy and a good flavor. The vegetable sandwich is delicious, but the veggies are cut so small it's hard to keep them from falling out. The majority of French fries were limp vs. crispy. The store is maintained well and the staff is very pleasant.

My wife and I visit Five Guys weekly. The hamburgers are better than the typical fast food hamburgers. We generally spend about twenty dollars for two hamburgers and a small fry. Service is mediocre, generally high school kids trying to get through their shift. We order food using their app., the order is normally correct. Food is usually ready by the time we arrive. I’d rate the food a six out of ten.

Interesting flavor combination today, plus all in all a good value: a grilled cheese sandwich from Five Guys, & tuna on wheat from Subway. Pepper jack cheese gets lost on a tuna sandwich [the question remains, where did the swiss go & why, Subway corporate?]. And though toasted buttered american is usually lovely, I found it wasn't a good palate cleanser at the end of the meal, leaving a strange oily taste in my mouth. I've been a casual fan of both places over the years. Meals better taken individually!

I don’t make it a habit to get Five Guys, because I over do it. I absolutely love their fries, and their burgers are great as well. They are far from being cheap, but the old saying is. You get why you pay for. I heard a lot about their milkshakes. I never had one, but I’ll check to see if they have dairy free options.

Not consistent. My experience is much better during the day, no complaints however during the evening hours is a different story. My order is usually missing an ingredient on my burger (sometimes it's the person entering the order and other times it's the person making the order. The cajun spice seasoning on fries is very light or barely any as well as smaller portion of fries which" just" fills the cup. I have come to love the overfilled cup that spills over into the bag. lastly the ketchup runs out often.

Abit pricey for a burger joint. Good size juicy burgers, REAL fries from fresh potatoes is a plus! But, cost of $24 for burger, fries n soda for a place with no waitstaff is overpriced in my opinion.

This particular location was a let down. Fries were limp and soggy. Burger was ok. For $15-17 for a cheeseburger, fries and drink, I feel there are better options. Possibly even Red Robin 3 doors down. That's sit-down restaurant pricing in a crappy warehouse fast-food setting, in my opinion.

I went into five guys to get food. The food was ok but the stores floor was a complete mess. I couldn’t believe how dirty it was. there was a ton of crumbs, food, hair, and stuff everywhere. I will never go back. I couldn’t believe how dirty the place was 😳😐

I had five guys food for the first time and that same night i was having bad stomach pains. A week later i was in the hospital and couldn’t move whatsoever. This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

This particular Five Guys took 45 minutes to provide a simple order of one burger and fries. We were not the only people having this problem, and some people had been waiting longer than us.

This place may have permanently closed. Signs do indicate remodeling; however, with the unannounced closer this week it does not give any firm assurance that this place may reopen. How does an establishment just close there doors with no advanced notice of remodeling? Unlike McDonald’s, in Wappingers, that sent a notice of remodeling several months out, this place just slammed the doors on their burger fans. At least there’s another 5 Guys in Fishkill to get your burger cravings! Known for: Great burgers and fries. Food is somewhat greasy but worth it if you need a boost in your LDL's! Fresh food and friendly staff. Bathrooms clean. Open kitchen. Free refills. Pricey but better than many other fast food restaurants. Don't forget the milkshakes and all you can eat nuts!

What time are you actually open? The website says 10am, but I tried to place an online pick up order at 10:15 and it said it was closed until 11:15.

Keeping up with higher meat costs Five Guys is quickly pricing themselves out of the fast food market. If you don't count tip prices are up there with a sit down restaurant. We paid the same for a similar meal at Red Robin next door and got served. Update. This location continues to be a pure money grab. Small hamburger $10, "little fries" $6. Better food and value next door at the Subway.
