Drive thru was fast, even during lunch!

5 stars obviously not for the food. But compared to most McDonald’s the staff was great. The lady working drive thru 12/18/22 around 2pm deserves a raise!

I ordered McDonald's this morning on doordash, and they forgot to include my happy meal. the manager personally brought me the happy meal because they forgot to put it in the bag. He also threw in a few cookies for the kids. liberty McDonald rocks. If I could give you guys a 100 stars, I would.

The food tastes great, and is always the right temperature. The cookies are always fresh out of the oven. Service varies by the day, but is usually very good. Most of the employees are very nice and some put extra effort into serving customers, double and triple-checking to make sure they have your order correct. The only negative here that I've experienced is how crowded it can get, which I believe confirms how well this McDonald's is run.

I have to give a big thank-you to Shanea. She was kind, friendly, and had the sweetest smile. If people could give their customers the service that she did; dining out would be great. What a true sweetheart. I was extremely impressed with this young woman. Thank you again for your awesome service.

I go to this McDonalds because of the friendly staff and the reasonable prices. Keep up the great work.

So I had a really long day of doing deliveries and I was about to do my last deliver but my phone died which I needed to complete my delivery. I had no charger and realized I was also hungry and I saw the golden arches. I walked in and the place was very busy and was greeted by lovely woman named ayesha. I asked her if there was any possible way someone had a charger I could use to charge my phone while I eat my dinner. She not only plugged my phone in for me and kept an eye on it, she made sure my order was correct and was very courteous and caring while managing the dinner rush. I finished my meal which hit the spot and my phone had just enough charge to get me to my next delivery. I have worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years and was so impressed by how she managed the floor with elegance and kindness. Not only did I leave happy, she helped me so I could also finish my work and go home not stressed. She really runs the place well and definitely deserves a raise. It really meant a lot to me.

I want to recognize Manager Edwin at the McDonald’s on Main Street in Poughkeepsie for his outstanding service. I had a small issue with an order of fries, and Edwin handled it with incredible kindness, professionalism, and respect. He immediately made it right and made sure I left completely satisfied. His gracious and humble attitude turned a minor concern into a great experience. McDonald’s is lucky to have someone like Edwin leading the team!

Mcdonald's is Mcdonald's, reliable and always the same. Only the drive thru was open, but we were traveling so that was fine. I got the mcmuffin and my wife ordered the burritos. They were good and perfect for traveling. Mcdonald's is not the best, but it's far from the worst, and the price is reasonable, especially it you have coupons. It's called fast food for a reason.

This restaurant has gotten a lot better since the remodel and it stays busy so be ready to wait a little while for your food during the peak times of the day. It's kinda small on the inside but is a great place to grab food and run.

I'd give 5 stars but there is this one lady there in the mornings who has horrible customer service skills and is very, very rude. She didn't even let me finish my order. Service at night is super slow as well.

I like the look and improve of somethings on the menu, more choices and flexible prices. Most of all, a clean looking store. Would be great if people using the restroom, would use them respectfully.

Drive-thru was very busy. They have two lanes. Some confusion by people pulling in they didn't know which lane to go in. I don't know why. The Wendy's has two lanes and nobody gets confused over there but they have more space than the McDonalds. That time of day all the fast food places had lines out into Main Street because it was about five or six in the evening and apparently everybody wanted fast food that night. Generally a pretty good McDonalds. They used to have a lot of problems with kids and people vandalizing inside when they were skipping school. I don't know since the virus if that has changed. They're owned by the same people that own the McDonald's on the other side of the county where I live.

This place is always crazy busy 90% of the time but for the most part they are very quick with getting orders done. Ever since they rebuilt this place it's been much cleaner and the food is always good.

Not crazy about them interrupting you when you're giving them your order. And they shut the window before you have a chance to ask for ketchup, salt. I know you are busy... But slow down just a smidge to give better service. Food is always good.

The quality is not always consistent. However, if they forget to give you an item they are sure to make it right.

I do not eat here myself so i can only speak on behalf of my grandson. He loves it.. He gets the kids meal. I noticed they have lowered their prices which makes it easier for a family to actually eat here now.. Years ago it would cost an arm and leg to eat here, now they have a bunch of menus to make it possible for families to enjoy. Good job... I still have old McDonald's toys they gave out at Christmas time... 101 Dalmatians... Bring back the old customs...

Look, for McDonald's it's what it is it's not anything more, sometimes there is a burger that you get that isn't as warm but I will say that the quarter pounder is usually right on the money, I'm not as thrilled about the fries as I used to be in comparison to another company which begins with a w and I don't expect anything more then a fast food atmosphere. Having said that I do give them four stars because 95% of the time the service is courteous the experiences I would I would expect I'm getting fast food

I miss the old 90s model. This place has plenty of parking. McDonalds is McDonalds. Fast food is good but never have been considered the best for ya. I still go when I can’t afford spending a lot of money. I also love their ice cream.

We have been to this location many times. Usually we have great customer service and food. Once in a while our order will be wrong. So we always check everything before we pull away from the drivethru.

I enjoy the food at this place. The only problem I have with it is that sometimes the workers there may get my order wrong. It's nothing too big, though. Sometimes, they might put something I didn't ask for on my burger. I don't really mind, though.

It's fast food spot so there are its ups and downs. It's the only McDonald's besides the one by Marist college. The interactions I've had with the staff have always been friendly and I am always so pleased by them. The food overall is good and my order has always been right so far. Overall the drive thru is a hit or a miss in terms of traffic, the food is pretty good, and the staff is nice. I'd say it's worth the stop.

I have been to this location a few times. Most times I have not had any real issues. I decided to stop by for lunch. I ordered a burger, nuggets & fries. I did not receive my burger. Unfortunately, I made it back to the office before I realized I did not have it. When I went in the store there were no customers and the drive thru had no customer either. Next time I will be sure to check the bag.

Regular fast food place. It was clear and nice. Refill station doesn’t do any ice, so ask the cashier for a cup with one. Service wasn’t great as the packed dine-in order as to-go and were slow on drinks.

Thank you Ronald McDonald House for all the good work you do. You only get a 3 star however because people don't need to be eating most of what's on the menue. Especially our kids. Too much additive and dead food.

McDonald's quality has gone down over the years with its microwave cooking of eggs. Everyone knows microwave kills nutrients in food. The oatmeal is good and fruit .Hamburgers taste like chemicals to me

Well it's McDonald's so regarding the food 99% of the populations knows if they like it or don't. Rating strictly on the service at this particular restaurant. While the drive-thru staff was pleasant, the atmosphere seemed a bit chaotic. But in all fairness this McDonald's is VERY busy. Wait times longer than average. My order seemed 'thrown together' unlike others McDonald's where orders are more carefully made. I suspect this restaurant is under staffed.

Stop.making me park for drive through when no one else is in line, no one believes you're making food in 12 seconds. This stupid timing system only serves to annoy customers

The staff are all wonderful, friendly and go out of their way to make each visit a nice one. Sometimes they can't keep up with a busy drive-through and a busy restaurant, so they get backed up and wait times can be pretty long. The drive through area where you order food does not have protection from rain or snow so you end up a little wet when you open your window to order. It seems to take a long time to fix things that break down, like the ice cream machine.

They just can't seem to get an order correct. Should I check the bag every time before pulling away? Yes though I shouldn't have to. When my teenager goes through the drive thru, she never remembers to check first and inevitably something is missing.

I ordered a Chicken Big Mac and received a regular one. I was temporarily flummoxed but I got over it.

Great location however i believe some of the staff could be a little more friendly including manors. I totally get that during lunch/dinner hours can be hectic but there's no excuse for bad manors. Great food though

This McDonald's need to work on 2 things. 1. Getting the order right. When a customer ask for a PLAIN DOUBLE cheeseburger it should not come with ketchup and pickles and onions every time I go the order is wrong.2. When you go to pick up your order there are a couple of employees that refuse to repeat back to you what you have in your bag they just hand you the bag with an attitude that needs to change effective immediately.

So I just had a annoying experience unfortunately. I was at the mid Hudson center macdonalds ordering on the app and after hitting pay. It let me know it was locked into the main st one. And I had to go over 10 mins out of my way going home. To get what I ordered. Money's tight right now. Waiting to get approved from medical leave with covid recently I came here tonight. Cause I really don't have alot of money I redeem points. That part of the order my points. You guys mishandled. I specifically ordered it up cause I did it myself. No cheese on my quarter pounder. And what do I find? Thick cheese covering both sides. I'm not gonna eat this and make myself sick because you guys don't wanna read a screne but I'll just add this. I work with the public I actually have to PAY attention to what I'm doing on I'm sacked at my job. I know days can be hard. And stressful. But when muiltple locations give me this same experience over and over again and I'm in no mood for it right now. Your gonna hear about it. I'm not happy with how this played out. If your listen I'd like you to reach out because this is ridiculous that I did half the job for you ordering it up myself. And you still toss me incorrect stuff. It's just not right

Employees are extremely rude. Your order is right probably 6/10 times. And you're lucky if they even get the order right. Disappointing, this McDonald's should think about hiring some new people.

The staff here is great, especially one lady who is always so helpful, positive and sunny. I hate that there's a time limit to how long you can be there by principle. I also hate how you must ask a staff member to buzz you to use the restroom.

If i could give no stars i would. I came from 30 mins away to get the release of "schezuan sauce" which was suppose to drop at 2 pm. But instead the employs gave all of it out hours earlier. Leaving myself and about 70 others disappointed and angry.

I do not like leaving negative reviews. But this McDonald’s sucks Mcballs. They never get the orders right. The drive thru is slow as hell and when you go and try to get the order corrected, they do not want to help.

The person at the first window was rude and it wasnt appreciated. It wasnt the first time he was rude however i will not be giving this McDonald's location on Main st Pok NY another chance .

Went to get a chip ahoy flurry and lady was very rude at speaker and was rude again at the window and then when I got my McFlurry It almost no ice cream at all the whole thing was basically cookies, was very disappointed. Never have these issues at mid Hudson

I ordered at the electronic kiosk. There was no receipt to indicate my order number. While waiting for my order, someone came in from the drive through with someone else's order they'd been given. Also, someone came up asking for the bathroom to be unlocked. This is the only McDonald's I've ever seen where they keep the bathrooms locked. After a long wait, I finally got my meal which contained two fish filet sandwiches and other items. When I got home, I went to eat the second fish filet and when I opened the box the fish filet already had a bite taken out of it. So I had to throw it away. I have no explanation why it would the sandwich they gave me had a bite taken out of it.

If you step one foot off the property you will be windshield booted immediately and forced to pay nearly 500$ to get your car back. Don’t give this place any money. Scamming local residents and visitors is not a good way to get buisness. Go to wendys or taco bell one block down the road that isn’t screwing people over something so stupid as parking.

the worst part of this is how this location treats minorities . As a black man , i have visited it several times ( the first time i thought it was just me ) and the people i was with experienced the most snide , rude looks from the staff . i started my second agency in the hudson valley years ago and this location does not treat People of Color with respect or dignity . last month one of the workers looked at my co worker as if he was beneath her and another kept glaring at our table from the high chair table by the soda fountain . if you have a nubian McDonalds worker behind the register you will get some level of personal interaction , the rest of them ( barely speak english ) you have to ask to repeat themselves and when you do that they act like its your fault . even if you go to this location as a professional , ie in a suit and tie , and are not white you will get the same look of disgust from the non NUBIAN ( black ) staff . if i could give this location a lower rating than a 1 star id happily do so . so BE AWARE . this is NOT how you treat human beings .

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever used. I ordered Chicken McNuggets and asked for extra sauce. When I drove up to the pick up window and looked in the bag I did not see the four packs of sauce I requested, when I informed the girl at the window I did not see my requested sauces, she stated in a indignant manner "they are at the bottom of the bag". Since I was in a rush I took her word for it and drove home. When I got home, not only was I short on my requested sauces, I did not have ketchup for my fries, or straws for my drinks. When I called to complain, a worker named Miriam, told me she packed my bag and evrything was there except the straws-- like I had nothing to do but leave my meal to get cold while I took the time to call McDonalds to tell a big lie about my service. I am a business owner and the last thing I would do is tell one of my customers that their sense of dissatisfaction as a customer is not valid. This place needs staff that are better trained and managed. I can only imagine how the food is handled.

I did not enjoy the drive thru today because I went to get my son chicken nuggets and a drink and as I got the nuggets along with the drink. I saw the woman drink out of the nexts person’s drinks. It was unsanitary and disgusting. I was worried that she drank out of my son’s drink, so I did not give it to him. This happened at around 7:45.

Its 24hrs so service should be 24hrs. However the girl that worked tonight 7/23/18 approx 1am was a real witch and just RUDE! She was condescending while taking the order and when I went to the next window for my food a guy stood there restocking the cups and didnt acknowledge me. Whoever took my order never showed up and it was horrible. So I left. Go to the one by Marist. The service is waaaay better and you are actually comfortable with eating your food. Location is everything and I guess if you go to that one on main street you get what you get. Just saying!

I went here Monday and called myself ordering a number 1 big mac combo. I ate and left and about 15 minutes into my driving I had to pull over because i had to throw up. I been sick ever since.

With the staff that's there now. 1 great manager The rest can kick rocks. This is the night shift. Somebody gonna get hurt. I Had loved it so much I was taking my family every night. Went there at 10:20am on September 30th for a simple breakfast sandwich. I was told by the cashier that breakfast was not being served anymore and that lunch was currently being served. I went home and checked because I do recall ordering the same item from a different McDonald’s in the area around the same time and having my order full filled without an issue. McDonalds breakfast ends at 10:30am to 11am according to many accredited sites. In my opinion this was completely unprofessional and uncalled for behavior from the cashier. Ordered two mchickens and large fries with a sprite and 4 piece nuggets, the chicken sandwiches were cold and soggy and fries were cold also. The chicken nuggets were uncooked. I ordered a sprite and instead gave me a Diet Coke. Don’t understand why their service is terrible when it’s just simple orders. I also asked for some sauces and they gave me none so I went in side and asked for them with the receipt and they just gave me 1 BBQ. Terrible food and service👎

Quite possibly the worst location I've ever visited. I watched as staff blatantly ignored a customer waiting to order for at least 10 minutes. They frequently mess up my orders and today lost my order (that I saw listed up on the screen for pickup!) and refused to assist in the situation or admit their fault!!! Instead told me I should just cancel it. Management was incredibly rude and condescending. I would NEVER recommend this location. Better off going to one of the many other burger places around.

I'm done with this place! Ordered a McRib and a Big Mac. Neither one had sauce on it. You really need to experience these two things dry to appreciate BAD. I don't know if they are just trying to save money or they are just incompetent. Any other McD in the area smothers these with sauce. This latest gastronomic snafu on top of their long history of order mistakes has finally driven me elsewhere. I'm now willing to drive the extra 6 or 7 miles.

This Mc Donald said they are not participating in teachers appreciation week, is May 6-10th, 2024. They are not giving teachers a free breakfast👎🏻you know how many times over the years I've come here for breakfast and lunch.

Saturday, September 26th, 2020. I placed a order on Gubhub because I had a taste for McDonald's, I ordered 2 Apple Pies, 2 Stawberry & Cream, 1 Large Fries and 4 Filet of Fish Sandwiches never got my order at all. The wrong order was delivered to me that had 3 Happy Meals, 3 Large Fries 4 different sandwiches. So I called McDonald's to let them know that I was delivered the wrong order. The Manager that I was talking to was very Unprofessional and telling me to bad you can't get your money or order, and what was delivered to you oh well not his problem and he could CARELESS. I was not rude to his person at all. I just wanted to understand how can you get a order wrong and then get mad at the customer for calling and explaining that the order was not right? And then on top of that it was a drive-thru order that was delivered to me. McDonald's need to train their Managers over and show them how to talk to customers when a problem needs to be solved. All I want was my correct order that's was all. Not to be disrespected on the phone by a McDonald's Manager.

It’s disgusting in here Floors are always sticky found a fruit fly in my mc chicken asked to speak to the manager and he was nothing but rude to me 10/10 would not recommend my niece also had a job here one year and seen employees dropping buns and still using them. They need to shut this place down it deserves a grade F.

Worst attitude received from the cashier and the manager today. I order the 6pcs chicken nuggets with small fries bundle and a large coke. The male cashier only heard the 6pcs chicken nuggets and large coke and charge me for $4.21. When I realized the order was wrong I ask the cashier and he came back from the manager and said if I want fries then I have to pay extra $1.69 for it. Why would pay extra $1.69 for the small fries when I did say I wanted the bundle which is only $3 total. The cashier and manager yelled back at me said I should have order it right at the first time and give me the worst look. 😡😡😡 I know it’s only a McDonald’s but still shouldn’t be giving that kind of attitude and look to a customer.

Today 11/30/2020 went to the drive through, gave my order was told to pull over fries weren’t done. Ok manager came to my car with what I thought was my order. Got all the way home and someone else order ! My bad for not looking but being trusting, went back got my order , only to get home and find out burgers were RAW!! Went back again now got a refund and won’t be going back again lol. Second time this week this happened to me last time only went back once .

Poor customer service. Young blonde manager gave me so much attitude. My kids autistic and they must up his order. She said i would either have to go around and order again or leave. I went around again and waited 15 mins to get my food and her attitude was worse.

Came two hours away for the sauce as well as over 100 people. I get giving stuff out early to gain hype BUT NOT ALL OF IT AND NOT WHEN YOU ARE THE ONLY LOCATION TO CARRY IT FOR MILES! I got yelled at today by an employee who stated he personally packed my bag and a missing item was in there when it was not. I waited twenty minutes parked in the rain, had to call over two people to try to get it corrected, and then the third one came out with the item and yelled at me. I then got home, searched my front seat, because who knows, maybe it fell out? If that was the case, I would have felt terrible I inconvenienced him. Nope, not there. It was just not packed in the first place. I don't appreciate the rudeness of that employee, bad day or not. I understand it was busy, but I just wanted the food I had paid for. To have an employee yell at a customer, for any reason, is absurd.

ordering breakfast here feels like asking for too much. I pull up to the drive-thru tryna get a simple meal, and it’s like I interrupted a block party, music blasting like they DJ’ing instead of working the headset. Every single time, the order’s wrong. Every. Time. Then I gotta pull back around like I’m the problem, like I messed up my own order. And the energy I get? Like I just asked them to rewrite the Constitution. Nah, fam, I just wanted a sausage, egg & cheese. At this point, I don’t know if I’m ordering food or starring in a hidden camera prank show. Breakfast shift needs a team meeting, or a reboot.

My husband and I went through the drive through today at our local Mac Donald’s. I’d like to know what kind of training or care goes into hiring the people that work here?? What ever happened to young people that represent your company being trained in common courtesy and being polite. What ever happened to “hello and thank you”?? Or maybe “have a good day” ?? We have never experienced such rude and money grabbing service individuals or the nasty “move along” behavior we experienced in our lives! And what ever happened to a couple of lousy bags of ketchup in the bag?? The prices have become ridiculous at these ‘supposedly cheaper fast food’ faster, but no ketchup?? Really?? Mac Donald’s has become a shadow of the idea and ideals of how it began many years ago. We won’t be going back!!

I placed a $15 taco order and asked for a cup for some water. I was told NO. The owner changed the policy, and told the employees to no longer give out cups for water . I didn't want the calories from Soda, so I had to have my lunch dry.

I ask for 2 fish filets and a large mcflurry, they fail to tell me theres only 1 size mcflurry and half of it is empty in the middle. I ask about it and the girl at the drive thru tells me thats just how they make it and gets nasty when i ask if they can fill it at least somewhat close to the top. Ten minutes of waiting for the fish filets yet there were 3 people in the drive thru window hanging around doing nothing. This mcdonalds location never fails to disappoint, and im surprised they actually got the items in the order right this time. Its sad that there is only 1 mcdonalds in the area that gets the orders correct and has friendly employees and its the one on freedom plains rd in lagrange

I ordered a coffee at the drive thru with some added bits, paid for it, then when it was handed to me, I noticed it was straight black and nothing else. I pointed it out and they said they would remake it with what I had ordered, I parked where they told me (which was a dangerous spot to park with many cars rushing past), and waited. After 5 minutes I was ready to just leave because I was going to be late, but someone came out and handed me my coffee. I didn't get the time to check it since I didn't want to be late, but it was still straight black. I ended up giving it to a coworker. I don't think I will be back. I'd rather invest in my own coffee machine.

This is the 2nd time they have done this!! They didn’t do anything to fix it either. So I’m out the $$ and food. Wasn’t even for me but for my son, so thank you Main St Poughkeepsie Location. Absolutely the worst McDonald’s hands down. Staff is rude, messy and unprofessional- not to mention they can’t make their food correctly. Soggy, old cold fries, missing a BURGER, and gave me a warm chocolate milk. I’d give no stars if I could- definitely doesn’t deserve any stars.
