I highly recommend this restaurant! Delicious home made flavor, whatever you order is great! Tasty and affordable. Great friendly service. My favorites are Beef stew, Menudo and the chicharron burrito. Gotta try it!

Delicious food and excellent service! Some of the best guacamole I’ve ever had. Also, the cactus topping for tacos is so good, definitely add some to your tacos. The fresh tacos are delicious. You can also order them to take with you. I’m glad I was able to bring some back with me so I can enjoy a bit of Marilu’s delicious food at home.

Excellent and inexpensive AUTHENTIC Mexican food. The menu here is geared toward local citizens and not toward expats and tourists. That said, everyone is welcome. Plan on simple food with great flavor. Marilu's started as a tortillaria and you should make sure you try their tortillas while here. Both the corn and flour varieties are excellent. Try a double burrito of your choice and you won't need another meal for awhile! The Menudo here is excellent. So are the various stews. They have about the best chilies rellenos in town.

I was recommended to visit here and it was a great recommendation. The service was excellent as well as the food and prices are local prices. We ordered an omelet and chilequles with carne asado. I certainly will return and visit here again away from the touristy area.

Nice hole in the wall spot, Food is very home like at Nanna, but lacks in service. New guy possibly, I wanted menudo without the hominy, and unfortunately the pansa was tuff to eat, and could not enjoy it. The chilaquiles were very tasty, defenetly would get that next time. Had to wave down someone to get coffee refilled.

Pros: Fast service, very friendly and attentive staff Cons: The food was nothing special and it was a little hard to get to the restaurant also they were playing Christian music the whole time. The tortillas de harina the one thing they are known for were a let down.

Chiles rellenos, beans and rice all needed salt. My husband ordered menudo and it was delicious. I wouldn't recommend the chiles rellenos, but their fresh tortillas are fire
