Seriously amazing experience. We sat at the bar and got to watch all the dishes being prepared; every chefs was so focused and seemed to be truly enjoying themselves while delivering beautiful, delicious food. No detail went unnoticed. Service was thoughtful - helpful without being overbearing. Would definitely recommend to make your TCI trip complete with a nice night out.
What an unforgettable experience! This was hands down the best meal we had during our trip to Grace Bay. Every bite was packed with creativity and flavor — you can really taste the passion behind the menu. If you can, grab a seat near the kitchen. Watching the chefs in action adds a whole new level of appreciation for the artistry and hard work that go into every dish. Truly a must-visit spot in Grace Bay!
We tried Chef’s Tasting Menu and it was an unforgettable experience! Each dish was a perfect blend of flavors, showcasing the restaurant's French influence. Presentation was stunning!!! Variety of courses kept me excited for what was coming next. From the fresh seafood to the delicate popping in your mouth chocolate dessert - everything was prepared with care and precision. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere made it feel like a special occasion. I enjoyed watching the Chef and his team prepare the food for us! It was a fantastic way to experience the best of what Provence has to offer.
Provence features in my opinion the best, most elevated and carefully curated dishes on the island. The menu offers options that are refreshing, off the beaten path of other dining experiences I’ve had here so far. The balance of flavors is incredibly smart, the presentation is intentional and beautiful. Lovely service, relaxed and in full control. I highly recommend sharing multiple plates to sample more dishes!
We had the most wonderful meal at Provence by Eric. We sat at the chefs table, open to the kitchen so we could watch the chef prepare our meal. Chef Eric was lovely. He was personable and funny and made the meal even more enjoyable. The staff and our server were amazing as well. We did a blind tasting menu with wine pairings and after discussing our preferences with the server, received 6 surprise courses. It was an incredible experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back next time we are in Turks and Caicos!
Provence by Eric in Turks and Caicos offers a truly memorable dining experience. The food is a beautiful mix of French and Caribbean influences, with each dish carefully crafted and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—upscale yet relaxed, with a cozy, intimate vibe that makes it ideal for a special evening. If you're looking for a top-tier meal in a welcoming setting, this place is definitely worth a visit. As a side note, I highly recommend the Porc Iberico La Pluma—it’s a standout on the menu. Tender, perfectly cooked pork that’s, packed with flavor. It’s a dish that showcases the chef’s skill in balancing rich, savory tastes with a bit of unexpected zest. The combination of spices and the unique preparation makes it a must-try. You won’t be disappointed!
My husband and I had just the most incredible experience enjoying the chefs menu at the counter. Expensive but worth the price. The service was incredible, the food immaculate. This was a top 5 meals of all time. We hope to return soon!
We had the chef experience and it was so worth it. The flavors of every item were so well balanced, beautifully served, quick, and just Michelin level. Definitely worth a stop of you love great quality food.
Wesner was fantastic and the food and wine is amazing as usual. Well flavored and elegant dishes. A must try while on island.
This is by far the best restaurant I have been to in Turks. Most hotel concierge staff will recommend the other more notorious establishments, but none come close to what Eric is offering at this marvelous place. If you are on the island, Provence should be on top of your list. The food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere at the chef’s table is very cool.
Very much enjoyed dining at the chef’s table at Provence. So much fun observing the very talented chef and his assistants at work, and seeing the love that goes into every beautifully crafted dish. The menu is extensive, and it’s not easy to choose ;) Everything we ordered (lobster/tuna tartar, foie gras crème brûlée, wagyu skirt steak, grouper & death-by-chocolate dessert) was superb. The service was great too; Jerry, our server, was very knowledgeable about every dish. We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
The Chef’s Table is a MUST do. Chef & his staff were incredible. The food and atmosphere are unparalleled! The highlight of our trip to T&C. We will be back!
We had great service and great food ! Honestly so far the best culinary experience we have had so far ! I recommend going there with an open mind and ordering the tasting menu. It is great value, and really showcase the talents of the chef and his sous chefs. The quality of the ingredients was undeniable. The chef table was a great way to truly understand how much effort and energy is put into each dish. It is impressive and I can't imagine how exausting it can be ! The chefs have great passion !
A true fine dining experience in Provo. Inventive, fresh, meticulously presented dishes. Eating here was a real treat. Would rather dine here than any of the hotel restaurants along the beach. Loved my experience here and will definitely be back!
Amazing culinary arts at Provence! The flavor combinations are delicious and the presentation lavishly impeccable. The service matches the quality and this is one of the best meals that we have encountered in many years of traveling. Highly recommend this to anyone who has a taste for excellent cuisine.
Do the chefs table experience! Up close to all the action. Would recommend: tasting menu, scallops, ceviche, wagyu steak, and cannoli.
This was our favorite experience on the island! Each course was fresh, creative, and impeccably crafted. A wonderful memory for our 10th anniversary!!
We splurged for the chefs table and were delighted we did. Watching chef Eric execute our sublime food. Everything was absolutely delicious. Every dish had such an amazing balance of flavor.
This place is really good. The best meal I've had in Turks & Caicos across three visits. Great attention to detail (even the bread and sauces are great). Nice setting and attentive service too. I'd recommend sitting by the chef's counter to get a better view of these artists at work!
Superb. The food was so delicious and creative. We loved sitting at the chef’s table. Chef Eric was so kind and welcoming. The food was not only beautiful but it was soooooooo tasty too. I just can’t say enough about how yummy everything was. If you come to Turks this is a MUST visit! Definitely recommend sitting at the chef’s table because it is a great experience.
Impromptu trip to PLS from NYC. We come to Provo 2x a year and our go-to is coco bistro. No reservations available so we decided to try Provence. Mind blown. Seriously, mind blown. We had the 5 course tasting menu. This chef is crazy talented. The best food on the island IMO. Service was great, our server did a fantastic job explaining every course. Better than many tasting menus we’ve had in NYC. We have a new go-to restaurant in Provo. I’m so excited!
We decided to eat here on Thanksgiving and it blew us away, so we returned the next night for another fantastic meal. The food - every dish we ordered arrived with the "wow" factor - beautiful presentation, extremely creative combinations of flavors, and absolutely fresh and delicious. Every bite was different because Chef Eric designs his dishes with so many unique facets to each item. Even the various plates/dishes he uses are beautiful (check out the photos to see how amazing the dishes are). The service - we were welcomed warmly by several of the staff and were seated in Vanessa's section. She is an excellent server and a lovely person - we enjoyed her so much that we requested her on our second night there. In addition, everyone on the staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and professional - the chef has prepared them well. The atmosphere - we chose to sit outside both nights. The tables are well-spaced so you have privacy and can chat without hearing other guests. Also, the way they set up the outside with the lighting, etc. is romantic and relaxing. Both evenings we were there, there was a beautiful breeze which added to the experience.
Beautiful meal. By far the best restaurant throughput the islands. Rivals quality French cooking with Caribbean flare in Us and Europe. Friendly staff!!! Favorites included scallops and crab cakes, butternut ravioli, tuna , bone in pork chop, Kobe steak.... list goes on!!! Thank you chef!!!
We wanted to have a high-end dinner for my son’s 12th birthday - he wants to be a Chef one day. We highly recommend sitting at the chef’s table - allows you a view to the detail and care the team of chefs take in creating their masterpieces, some of which are shown here. Goat cheese croquette amuse-bouche, mediterranean sushi rolls, spicy salmon salad, lamb dish/jus, angus ribeye on toasted potatoes and creamed spinach, Lobster/pasta Taglioni. Everything was prepared to their exacting standards - a worthwhile visit for discriminating guests.
Such an amazing meal. Everything was fantastic. Lobster linguine, lobster gnocchi, crab salad, butternut squash ravioli, Pekin duck, wagyu steak, grilled lobster and crab risotto! Larger appetizer portions than expected!
OUTSTANDING!! We had dinner as a group and tried each other’s dishes - everything was absolutely incredible!! The steaks were perfectly cooked with a buttery smooth texture and bite, putting them at the top of the best steaks I’ve ever tasted. The fish and shrimp dishes were so fresh and deliciously prepared; the waiter highly recommended their snapper and I was not disappointed! The portions were large and filling, and the waiters were friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to go back!
The food, the food, the food. Just go, get an EARLY reservation and have an experience. I will remember every dish we had tonight for a very long time. Service was great! Server knew everything on the menu. Chef Eric was IN the kitchen. As he is every night from what we were told. You can taste that passion in the food. This place is a gem. I can’t wait to see where they are in a couple of years.
We hadn’t originally planned to go here but are we glad we changed our minds! The food was a big cut above anything else we’ve had on the island during our stay. Not cheap but quality rarely is :-) Highly recommended! Oh BTW the bread was to die for 👍
We ate here twice during our stay in Turks and Caicos, it was wonderful on both visits. Our meals were fantastic every time and our service was spectacular. The drinks, mojitos, martinis, rum old fashioned, were all fantastic. Provence also strikes a great balance, seemingly often missing from Caribbean from dining, of bringing in the best ingredients from elsewhere while also embracing elevated local cuisine! Our server Koronzo (KD) was spectacular, we have enjoyed fine dining around the world from Japan, Spain, and France, and I can say without hesitation that Koronzo has a rare gift for hospitality not many match.
Easily some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. Service was excellent and I will definitely be back! I had the tuna tartare and 4 courses of lobster, followed by a pineapple dessert.
Exquisite food! Who knew that vegetables could taste so good. The chefs at Provence create a masterpiece in every meal that is served. The lobster specials were prepared with cooking perfection! The lobster cooked had just the right amount of crisp. Beautifully prepared. A dab of mash potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. Service was impeccable. Professional and just enough. Chefs bread was straight out of Europe. The air holes the crunch of crust. Perfect. Wine list provided excellent selections.
Definitely the best food experience on the island. Certainly one of the best places to eat I've come across as a global traveller and lover of good food. I've eaten at some of the top ranked restaurants in the world and would include the chef's selection at Provence as memorable as those meals.
Bougie place but worth it! Drinks were high quality, service was nice and friendly. Butternut squash ravioli and black grouper were the best meals we had on the island! The pineapple desert was good but different. Worth coming!
Toward the end of the business strip in Grace Bay, you will find, on the bay side, a newly constructed two level strip mall. In this, out of the way location, is Provence: by Eric. The food is carefully thought-out, prepared and delivered. His interpretation on melon and prosciutto proffers a sensory of flavors and 'takes on' how to present an array of profiles. As a main, the pekin duck two ways is simple in its form and sublime in what your palate will experience. The only detraction, was the greens acidity positioned atop the confit, it did not pair well with the duck. Treat yourself, ask the chef to prepare something special if he has the time and you have the means.
We just had one of the best meals ever! We were going to go to Milano for a pizza but they were only doing take out so we went to Provence. The staff were really nice to us and the meals were exceptional. We had a great time. This is one of the best resraurants I have ever been to. I'm only nine years old but I have to say this was my best meal ever.👍👍
Hands down one of the top 3 restaurants we have ever been to! We were there the last week of June. It was so good the first time that we had to go back a second time. The first night we sat at the chef’s table where we watched Chef Eric and his staff in front of us working their magic as a team creating meals with amazing attention to detail. The presentation of everything we ordered was fantastic but how incredible the food looked was bested by how delicious they tasted. No matter what we ordered over two nights, the appetizers (yes several), the entrees and deserts were insanely good! The menu was different the second night and it didn’t matter. It was just as good. Btw, do not leave without eating the desserts especially the Death By Chocolate. Whoever gives Provence a bad review either has issues or has an underlying nefarious reason.
Sat at the counter and had an amazing meal. Eric and his team are simply amazing. Am absolute find in TCI
One of the best dinners I ever had. Chef Eric has talent and an old world charm. Sit at the Chef Table to see all the action. I must return.
My kids (...yes, I said my kids) can’t go by without their risotto!!! ...and they don’t touch it back in NYC. What else can I say! Second year in TCI and this place is a two night per out stay a must!
Phenomenal food: Quality, Taste, Presentation. One of the best on the island. Highly recommand !!
We ate at the Chefs Table and it was delicious from beginning to end. Truly remarkable dining, all made in front of you, I’d recommend this to anyone coming to TCI that enjoys fine dining.
This place was absolutely amazing!! The chef was so friendly. The food exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was so attentive. My husband did the chefs blind tasting menu and I ordered a dish from the menu. I highly recommend this place!! I can’t say enough good things about it.
We really enjoyed our chefs table seating . The food was delicious and it was very enjoyable to see the expert team at work . Thank you for the great dinner !
Best food we had on the island. Chef knows their stuff. Arctic char with the champagne sauce was chef's kiss. Friendly servers. sit at the chefs table or inside just to watch the kitchen work. Excellent wine selection as well. Priciest meal we had (without lobster) but worth it. Would come back when on the island.
I first just need to quickly address some of the negative reviews I read because I don't know how it was possible to have a bad experience here. This is by far the best restaurant on the island! I knew this was going to be a great meal based on the black olive tuna spread they give you for the bread before the meal even starts. Chefs Table is the way to go. Eric the Chef was his staff in the kitchen were so pleasant and a joy to talk to during the experience. Food flavor was outstanding and presentation is exactly what you would expect. My only regret was not ordering multiple dishes and sharing. Unbelievable on so many levels! Must try if you are into gastronomic experiences. I will be back for sure. BRAVO!
The most recent review I read here was highly negative and about four weeks old. I hope both of those things have changed by the time you read this, because our experience was excellent. Chef Eric, his son Younes, his brother-in-law, and his daughter (who ran the floor) were all wonderful. We chose the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The evening wasn’t absolutely flawless, slight service gaps and forgotten utensils, but every dish that came out was. Watching Chef Eric and his team in the open kitchen was a treat, seeing the care that goes into each step of the prep, plating, and service. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough, even if you’re staying at a hotel or resort with meals included. This is a superb night out, perfect for a special person or a great group of friends. If you enjoy French cuisine and wines (and Italian as well), this place will impress. Well done, Chef Eric, to you, your family, and your entire team. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
The service is regular, the food was great! The duck is the best! The only thing I have concerned is the environment seems not the best condition for a lovely dinner, flies are around the bar table and the olive oil comes a little dirty outside of the bottle too.. other than that it’s a good restaurant!
My wife and I had a very disappointing meal last night. Once we ordered our meals, we did not see our server again for almost two hours. This resulted in us having to order a desert and ask for a check from other waiters walking by. We were never asked for drink or water refills during the duration of our meal. I am assuming they are understaffed like most places but would recommend the restaurant align their number of reservations with their staffs capacity. Looking around the restaurant, many tables seemed to be in similar position. It is a shame to spend $300 and get mostly cold food and wait for so long to eat. The food was good. The mushroom and spinach raviolis were one of the better appetizers we’ve had in a while. I got the Iberico braised pork belly, which had great fat rendering and flavor, unfortunately, it came out pretty cold. It also came with steak that looked like trimmings of steak tips on top that were so raw I couldn’t even cut with a steak knife. Not sure what that was about. The desert was very tasty but the presentation left a lot to be desired. They are also too strict with substitutions. The truffle Yukon potatoes looked good so I asked for them with my meal. I was met with a stern “no substitutions” and figured it was because of the presentation of the dish I ordered. So I did let out a little chuckle when the side of potatoes that came with the dish, came out on a separate tiny dish. Very odd I couldn’t swap out two types of mashed potatoes. In itself, this is no big deal but think it is representative of what this place thinks it is, not what they are. Assuming they just had an off night but wish our obviously poor experience would have been noticed by one of the staff in advance.
We went to this restaurant thinking we were going to eat at the Chefs table. When we arrived we were checked in by the host and told to wait. Once we say a few more people arrive and be seated we asked the host and manager about why we had not been seated yet and they said that we never checked in. The host that checked us in lied and said she never checked us in even though on the computer it said we had been seated. We were then offered a table outside under the extremely bright strip mall lights which we did not want and instead took the two top in front of the Chefs counter. The manager offered us a cocktail for the confusion and wait and then we chose the Chef tasting menu. As we waited the food runner brought out a dish by accident that was not meant for us. Eventually we received the first course and after the third course we were introduced to who we thought was a food runner but turned out was our server. During our time there we say multiple fires being put out by the front of the house staff due to lack of organization and systems put into place. Having been a training manager for the restaurant business I could immediately feel and sense the chaos at the front of the house. The chefs and sous chefs are doing their part but the front of the house is in chaos. By the end of the evening a customer came up to complain to the Chef about how unorganized their dinner was and he started yelling at her in return. We finally got our bill which was over $400 for two people tasting menu and were asked to give more tip to the person when then finally found out was our server. We had expected this bill but left feeling frustrated from the chaos at the front of the house. At these prices they can afford to bring a front of the house consultant to help create systems and procedures to improve the front, a great chef can not do both. I understand it is a family business and the front of the house is run by a family member but some standard training and systems could really help the lives of the staff that are constantly running around putting out fires as some of these recent reviewers have stated. Go for the food and lower your expectations on the dining experience which is Dineresque.
I regret coming here. Atrocious on every level. Food was hardly edible. Tuscan pasta dish was boiling hot in places while white beans were undercooked and crunchy. Scallops came out burned and charred but cold/raw inside with room temperature mash potatoes. Just unpleasant overall and really just disgusting. I asked them to take the scallops back after a few bites of the dish but it was still included on the bill.
