La comida es muy buena, el servicio ok (aunque no entienden cuando dices sin cebolla), la ubicación perfecta (al lado de la catedral) pero es muy pesado que la conversación sea interrumpida por mendigos cada 5 minutos y molestada por músicos de la calle. Ósea en solo un almuerzo, habían 10 mendigos y tres músicos..

Las cemitas y el chocolate, deliciosos! Muy rico sazón! El único detalle es que solo hay dos meseros y cuando está lleno hay que esperar, pero es muy tranquilo el lugar y sabroso! Los paquetes de desayuno, comida y a la carta es delicioso!

*Pros: precio, porciones, ubicación. *Contras: contaminación auditiva, tráfico vehicular (excepto algunos días). *Ni muy muy ni tan tan: el sabor. La verdad es que los chilaquiles y las enchiladas no son inolvidables. La salsa roja aunque pica un poco es la que vale la pena. El café no sabe espantoso, pero no es bueno. This place is brightly lit, and looks like a fast food joint, so I was I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food. The consumeche (soup) really hit the spot!

It's located to the west side of the Zocalo or to the right if facing the cathedral. We ate here twice and both times the food all tasted good. The first time was in the evening and the staff could tell we we're having difficulty understanding the menu. Are waitress even brought over a sample of chilaquies. My wife was hooked. Would recommend for a quick bite of snack size Mexican food.

A really delicious experience if you taste Consomé Meche, is a house dish for this Fondita. An other dish that you need to taste is Chipotles Rellenos of Chicken or White Cheese, those have a unique taste and you can’t compare with any other dish, and only here in Puebla you will found this special and traditional “Chiles Chipotles Rellenos” The beverage of Rompope Water is an other good drink to taste. Es una buena opción para comer al lado de la plaza principal, el servicio y la comida en general está aceptable, aunque podría mejorar el tamaño de las porciones. La cemita le faltó sabor, hay mejores opciones, aunque en general bien.

Tortas Meche (que actualmente afuera sólo dice "Meche") es un lugar con muchos años en la gastronomía de Puebla, pero de eso, sólo queda el recuerdo. La comida es regular, es un lugar caro, con un servicio menos que regular (estar atento a que devuelvan el cambio). Es el clásico de como te ven te tratan. Lo lamentable es que no se puede comer a gusto: hay mucho ruido de los payasos y de los sitios de junto. Lo que me extraña es cómo un lugar tan emblemático como los portales poblanos se haya convertido en este 2023 en un espacio del ruido. Lo bueno de "Meche" es su torta de pierna y su consome de pollo con arroz. Ojo: no sirve su baño en pleno Centro Histórico.

El lugar se ve acogedor y pintoresco, pero la experiencia no fue la mejor. Pedimos todos al mismo tiempo y trajeron los platillos de todos… menos el mío. Tardaron alrededor de 30 minutos en servírmelo, justo cuando los demás ya habían terminado de comer. A otro acompañante incluso le llevaron su bebida hasta que ya había terminado. Walking by the Zocalo there are plenty of restaurants to choose from and on this morning while walking around the waiter asked us to give them a try. We sat outside under a tent and you can see the restaurant on one side and the Zocalo on the other side. We asked for coffee, torta cemita and divorced eggs. The last are called divorced eggs because they have two different sauces, one side green and the other has red. Anyway, the table was dirty so had to ask for it to be cleaned. As for the food, it was ok a bit overpriced but nothing to complain about. on the other hand the coffee was not good at all. Had to leave it and bought it somewhere else. The service was ok since there was not many people in the morning at the restaurant. I hope the coffee improves since neither one of us liked it. The cemita needed the flavor of the papalo which this makes the cemita.

Pésimo servicio por parte de la encargada, me entregaron los chilaquiles más vacíos, cuando pedí que le pusieran más, personas que no era de cocina, se lo pusieron directamente con la mano. Pedí cambio de chilaquiles, la gerente me hizo caras y me entregaron unos chilaquiles que eran más salsa que nada. Siempre tengo problemas con ellos pero es la primera vez que digo algo y fue un pésimo servicio.
