We sat at the bar for lunch and had an amazing meal with a great conversation with the bartender. I got the earl and was blown away by the flavor. Came back the next day and all I wanted was the same thing but I tried the beef on Weck and again blown away with an amazing meal. Whenever I’m in Pulaski this will be a must stop

The Staff and the service was outstanding when my family visited yesterday. The upper outside patio was amazing on a rare beautiful Sunday afternoon Menu had a lot of choices at reasonable prices. My mom said the roast beef on the Earl sandwich was the best she ever had. Highly recommend.

Place is awesome! Right in the heart of Pulaski. I went here for the first time with my son last year for takeout, and this year we came back to eat in. The place was mobbed when we walked in, but we were hungry so we decided to stay — and I’m glad we did! The service took a little while, but it was totally worth the wait. We’ll definitely be back!

Place is great to hang out day or night. Food is good, everything we ordered. We got from buffalo wings so fresh so tasty not your average buffalo wings, must get. Their burger cooked just right, so juicy it’s amazingly good. Nachos are loaded with favors. Onion rings also a must get item. Good beer selections especially what they have on tap, always some special one on tap but sold out fast. Only thing is food takes awhile to come out.

Great brass bar with tiger head fittings at the long bar. The food was really good, we had burgers that were great. Just loved looking around the place at the odds and ends.

Second visit: Got seated outside right away but it took 15 minutes to get waited on. The place wasn't super busy but the service was VERY slow. Food was really good. Burger was way better than "Bill Grays Worlds greatest" out in Rochester that we had the other day. Service wasn't the best. Starter came out with the rest of the food. Server only took the order and dropped off the check. Never asked how the food was or asked if we wanted dessert. We still enjoyed our time looking out over the river while eating.

We sat out on the deck at the restaurant, overlooking the Salmon River. It was nice!!! Food was decent enough, but the 16 local draft beers caught my attention. Overall a good place to go for basic bar food and drinks.

LD’s in Pulaski has become a must-stop tradition for my son and me during our annual salmon fishing trip. We make it a point to grab lunch here at least once a year, and it never disappoints. The food is hot, tasty, and hits the spot after a morning on the river. If the weather’s nice, definitely grab a table outside — it’s a great place to relax and watch the fishermen working the town pool just across the way. Be warned though, the yellow jackets like to join the party when it’s warm out — nothing too crazy, just keep your drink covered and wave them off. The place can get busy, especially during peak fishing season, but it’s worth the wait. LD’s has that laid-back local vibe that makes Pulaski feel like home for a few days every year.

This is a bar and restaurant but it has much better than average food. Fun atmosphere. They have good service too, especially considering how packed they usually are. Great drink choices too. Everything is very affordable . This is one of our favorite places in Pulaski. We've only visited in the evenings, but I could imagine this being a great place during the day, especially outside watching the fishermen during the Salmon run. "The Earl" sandwich is by far my favorite. Tender sliced roast beef, sautéed onions, Swiss cheese, beef gravy, on sourdough bread. Amazing! If you're in Pulaski you have to try LD's....and get The Earl!

Nice little spot on the salmon river. Food was pricey for what you get. I ordered the wings, waitress didn't know the price as they are listed market value. I ordered the 10 flight assuming it would come like the picture on menu. 3 different sauces of your choice and a small brush. I got 10 plump wings cooked well and 3 cups of sauce. They speedie samich was well prepared and was tasty. Fries really good! Think it 50.00 for the 2 meals 1 margarita and 1 ice tea. Service was iffy at best, we had to ask for silverware.

Nice place. Service was ok...it was my wife 2 boys daughter and myself. The total was 100 bucks for 2 kids dinners a loaded fry and chicken tenders. Also I had the earl nothing was great all average food and way way over priced.. probably one large very finely sliced fries and bacon and cheese for 14 bucks. It wasn't worth more then maybe 5 bucks. The whole meal was maybe pushing 55 60 worth... but only my honest review. Everyone has their own opinion..

Menu sounded amazing, but the quality of the food didn't quite meet my expectations. I ordered a burger that came with some homemade burger sauce, but there was barely any on it at all (maybe a squirt as small as a nickel) so made my burger plain, dry, and boring. People there seemed nice, though.

Really cute little place and probably especially nice in the summer, but we weren’t blown away by the food. The service was also pretty slow (had to flag someone down after a while to get our drinks refilled) and it wasn’t busy at all, so that was disappointing. The fried pierogis weren’t crispy and the buffalo chicken poppers were bland. Some people in our party said the burgers were pretty good, but smaller than you’d expect for the price. Highly recommend the chicken wings though!

Sat immediately at 5:45 and ordered. Soft pretzel appetizer, 2 beef on weck, kids mac n cheese. Food arrived 7:15 including the pretzel. The food was not hot. Their 3x beer cheese for the pretzel was canned nacho cheese. The main entrees were okay. If your kitchen can not handle the orders, limit the seating and close sections, and do what u have to do to avoid customers waiting that long for fries and a sandwich. We will come and try again, but not at the dinner hour.

The prices do not match the quality of food. The well done burger was wayyyy well done, very dry. Just a couple sprinkles of shredded cheese on top. The $15 loaded fries are a small basket with gas station cheese smothered on them. The setting is fun, right on the river but for 2 burger meals (and a $55 bill) I would have expected better tasting food and better portions. Red Robin or Burger King would have been better quality and half the price.

The atmosphere and view were very nice, but what little service my wife and I received was mediocre at best. It took a little longer than one would expect to get a menu after being told to seat ourselves. Not a big deal, but noticable. We never were introduced to our server, and the person who brought us the menu and took our drink order was not the person who brought us our drinks. Drinks arrived fairly quickly, and we were not given enough time to peruse the menu before being asked to order, so the waitress said she would give us more time. So far, nothing too bad. The biggest problem was that the wait staff never came back. I noticed other patrons were also not being served. One gentleman went up to the bar to ask for his beverage to be refilled. While waiting, we noticed my wife's glass was filthy. The bottom had a layer of grime in it that looked very old. It is the kind of buildup that happens over time in plastic cups you can't reach down into and give a proper scrubbing to. I wish I had taken a picture. At this point, we decided to just go home and eat. I went inside, paid for my one beer and left. While doing so I saw all 3 members of the staff that I had seen on duty just hanging around the bar chatting instead of waiting on customers. I think the waitstaff needs better training. I imagine it must be easy for things to slip through the cracks without a dedicated server for each section. The sight of the river is very nice, though. It's very scenic. If you come here, stop in for a drink and the view before bouncing to another place for your dinner. Just make sure to get your drink in a glass, not a filthy plastic cup.

Let me just start off by saying that I very rarely leave reviews, good or bad, but felt inclined to after my experience here tonight. The place and atmosphere were great. The service and food left us disappointed unfortunately. We sat down and got our initial drinks, but had to go order our next ones at the bar since our server was MIA. It took us 45 minutes to get our food and it was cold by the time we finally got our meals. A simple check-in or a “I apologize for the wait” would’ve made a huge difference. I am in the industry, and the service was definitely not acceptable. After she took our order, she was gone and missing the rest of the entire time we were there. The $20 burger was not worth the money. I got the mushroom swiss burger and there were 5 mushrooms on it and it was all bun and no meat. Also, the burger had no mention of having any other toppings on it, and it came with raw onions, which I definitely did not want. If our waitress had ever come over to check on us, I could’ve told her that, but after we finally got our food, we never saw her again. My husband got the “hot” chicken sandwich and it wasn’t spicy at all. The fries were gross, cold and soggy. They forgot our sauces. We were excited to finally check the place out and left disappointed and hungry. Definitely not an acceptable experience for $70!

Each time i have eaten here the service has been iffy. I had gotten a mixed drink and couldnt order another one before i didnt want it anymore. My fries came out cold and they didnt give us a spoon for my daughters applesauce and thats all okay but she just was not checking back with us enough for me to let her know. Then once i got to the second half of my sandwich and seen that the steak didnt even extend to the end if the bread. The steak sandwich was also very dry. But it costs about $4 more for a philly cheesesteak here than it does anywhere else and they were really skimpy on just meat. I overpaid and was having to kill bees at my table the whole time. Wont be going there again. Martin Inn and Pub just an exit away has much better food and prices.

My husband and I went there on Wednesday Sep 3rd to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We were very disappointed. The Mozzarella sticks were horrible and the food was cold. We both ordered burgers and I don’t know if they don’t have a warmer in the kitchen or they just had the food somewhere after it was ready but it’s impossible for a burger to be cold from the time the server got the food and brought it to us. It’s a nice place to relax, drink a couple beers and enjoy the beautiful view of the Salmon River.

Stopped in here for a quick bite while on a road trip. Beautiful spot and the service was great. The food however was very disappointing. I got the fried shrimp 🍤 with a side of onion rings and my boyfriend got an order of mild wings. The shrimp are described on the menu as being “butterflied and sweet”. I can assure you that they were neither. They were tiny over battered and fried to an oil drenched sad sogginess as were the onion rings. Absolutely pathetic at $15.00!!! The wings were also slimy and had next to no sauce on them. We were there right after they opened so the fryer oil probably wasn’t hot enough. Still no excuse for the shrimp and rings 🦐 though!!!! I can guarantee the shrimp and onion rings came from some wholesale food service sold at about $5 a pound. Very overpriced stomach aches.

Horrible service. Mediocre food. No tables cleaned and remained dirty the whole time we were there. Gave us no silverware, asked for ketchup never got any. The server herself when she finally came over actually said "sorry, not gonna lie, totally forgot about you". Oh, ine more thing, I would like to know how they clean their hands since there was no soap to be found in the bathroom. Gross.

Like many other reviews on here in the past year, we also experienced extremely poor service. When will the owners of LD’s wake up before it’s too late? Anybody home? And I never write reviews, and I never complain. I’m in the business. Mistakes happen. I totally get it. But there ain’t no mistaking whien a place is left to be run into the ground with no oversight. Waited an hour and 15 mins for two overcooked steak sandwiches on a hotdog bun for $54. Having been a patron of LD’s every summer since before its current location on the river, the two gals working the night we went might benefit from some basic customer service training. They might even consider another line of work. Zero communication and zero hospitality at a Pulaski landmark during high summer season? Unacceptable. No sorry for the wait, no can we take care of your sodas. Nothing except a long, lousy experience riddled with flies. Can’t handle a single complaint about an hour and 15 minute wait? This ain’t the job for you. When you screw up, whether it’s the servers or the kitchen - a simple “sorry for the wait” could’ve changed my tune. I also recommend not wearing flip flops in a food service establishment. It’s unsafe and unsanitary. Don’t waste your time or money, folks.. We sure won’t be back after this - and it’s too bad - always loved the place and have come in every season, but this isn’t the LD’s our family and friends know and love from past years. If you’re a “homo” like me - they may even call you that on the way out like the little blond “manager” did when we left obviously upset with the entire experience and no resolution whatsoever. Real bad look for LD’s and an even worse look for Pulaski and neighboring businesses.

We came here first on Mother's Day. It be was my quiet and slow. We had decent service and the food was pretty good. However, we came back today fir our second time and was extremely disappointed. We watched as other parties that were seated after us get their food before us. We waited an hour and half for cold food, wrong food and horrible service. I kept hearing the wait staff ramble of what they didn't have and not seemingly to care. I also watched our waitress smoke a hit off a cigarette from a customer and walk back into the kitchen. That is a huge health code violation. Also, this place is good for beer only. Do not ask for a cocktail, they don't have a knowledgeable bartender or any type of liquor that is adequate. From what I read in other reviews, I believe that the owner also does not care. The truth behind a restaurant comes out when they are busy. Oh, and out high chair was literally falling apart.

Have been to LD’s several times but very disappointed today. Ordered a burger cooked medium. Instead received a dry overcooked unseasoned burger. My husband ordered a chicken Ceaser salad and received cooked chicken on a house salad containing spring lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers, not romaine lettuce. Very disappointed. Not sure if we will return.

My daughter called and left 2 messages about having a small wedding rehearsal there. Never heard from him. I personally went there for lunch in hoping to speak with the owner. The waitress said he’s not in and it’s not like him and I will give him your info today and I guarantee he will call you. 4 days later now and nothing. I’m actually glad though because our lunch was gross. The coleslaw was bad and my chicken wrap was so runny from the buffalo sauce and blue cheese and the lettuce was warm in it. It’s like they heated the whole thing and not just the chicken.

I want to start off by saying that the food is great! However, everything else definitely needs some work. No one came over to our table for at least ten minutes when we arrived. When the drinks finally arrived, my glass was obviously dirty with something crusty on the inside. Not only the first glass, also the second and the third glass that she brought over. Finally I gave up and went next door and bought a bottled drink. After we ordered our food, the waitress never came back to see how things were or offer drink refills or even bring silverware. We ordered the loaded nachos. They were delicious, until I discovered a piece of plastic in it. If I were to eat here again, not likely but I would order to go.

Incredibly dirty before we got our food. I had to wipe off our table. I included a picture of one of our drink cups. Prices are ridiculous. $5 for a side of fries or coleslaw? $3.50 for a soda or lemonade? The fries are mushy, my pulled pork tasted of nothing but the store bought BBQ sauce it was soaked in and had a bunch of hard pieces in it making me think it was old and just boiling in a pot somewhere. The staff are working hard and trying. I can't blame them. But the managment of the place needs to open their eyes. This place has fallen a long way. No one inside even took their jackets off because if the cold. I grew up put here in Pulaski and stopped going to LDs after they moved across the river because of the price of their food. Since I've moved to Oswego there are plenty of places with great food, priced well and with views of both the river and the lake. It's worth it to drive the 30 minutes to Oswego. I promise. I won't be back again. The kids don't even want to come back. They complained their chicken tenders were hard. The only way I can believe this place is still open is the business during fishing season and it being 1 of the 3 bars in town. Such a disappointment.

It took them 15 minutes to give us our drinks, and we finally ordered. We ordered our meals all with fries. When we were waiting for our food, all the waitresses weren’t even paying attention, but were just talking with each other and not answering customers. It took the chefs one hour and thirty minutes to make our food. When the food came we were all excited to see what we waited so long for. But instead, all of our fries were burnt and tasted horrible, and my meal was missing three toppings! Everything about our meals tasted horrible. One thing that this place needs, is to tell the truth. A waitress said our food would be done soon, but it took another forty-five minutes. And they didn’t even apologize for telling a lie. Do not go here with your family. There are much better places in the area. This definitely deserves a one star.

I was excited to try this place only to find it fell short. 20.00 for a burger that doesn't even fit the size of the stale bun it was on. Asked how I would like it cooked, I said medium, and it came out well done. Like dry well done. The server came back to check on us and I had told her to her response "I was told by kitchen staff they have to be well done" so why ask when taking the order what temp I wanted? The fries were very "well done" as well. Also, not being able to order food on the patio is a bummer. And not having the same beers on tap upstairs and outside isn't fun either!

Am so disappointed with the service here. I've been here a few times in the last two months but won't be returning due to our last experience. Prior to this, the food has been good and the service has been alright. The pictures posted were from the time before our bad experience. The last time we were there, we were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken. We were a table of 4. When the waitress brought our drinks, she took our orders for appetizers and our dinner. At 45 minutes after our orders were placed, the waitress didn't check on us once and we had to ask her for a refill on a drink. She took the cup and said our appetizers would be out soon. We waited patiently as others were brought food. At an hour and 15 minutes, the waitress had not brought the refill or food and we gave up when we saw her laughing with her coworkers. We paid for the drinks and told her to cancel the order as we were leaving. The best part was the owner was in house, seated at the bar for the whole time, with his back directly across from us, and didn't even acknowledge the situation or make it right. We went across the street and got much better service. Was glad to give $200.00 business to them instead.

Let’s begin with how out of line the response from THE OWNER to a less than great review a guest (Heather) at this restaurant left. That in and of itself should speak volumes. I have been coming to this restaurant for six years or so during salmon season and I have watched the slow decline of the establishment as well as the alcoholic owner (Scott? Steve?) and employees. There is no uniform it seems so the employees aren’t distinguished apart from patrons and most look disheveled, less than thrilled and messy. I came in this season for the first time a few weeks ago. I don’t ever expect too much from this establishment when I come in to dine/drink. There isn’t much in the area so beggars can’t be choosers if you will. I was coming in for a few beers and my beer of choice happens to be Mich Ultra. I sat and ordered and to my “surprise” they were out. Okay, no big deal. A watered down domestic beer is a watered down domestic beer. I made my second choice. Hung for a few and skedaddled. A couple days later, I had the feed bag and drinkin’ bag on - it was a long day on the river with little success and it was nearing the end of my trip. I walked in to what looked like a small bomb went off. The floors to the main entrance were disgusting, bottles, trash/food, cups, etc. all over the bar, dirty tables but no one in the main part of the inside dining area. I was generously shouted at by an older lady behind the bar “FOOD WILL BE 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR, SIT WHEREVER YOU LIKE!”. Okay, seems unreasonable considering the restaurant was less than busy but whatever - again beggars can’t be choosers. I took a seat, waited a few to be greeted and ordered my trusty Mich Ultra annndddd…they were still out. Someone dropped the ball on that one. Considering my arrival and what I had walked into, being shouted at by an employee, now no watered down domestic beer to take the edge off, I am a bit annoyed. Sat for a bit, regrouped, had a few beers…I watched people indeed sit for over an hour for their lackluster food. The menu consists of mostly fried food, hamburgers and sandwiches so how the hell any of this is taking that long is BEYOND me. While regrouping, I enjoyed the smells of hot trash from the alley behind my table waft into my nose holes, copious amounts of straw wrappers and napkins tumble by, food and other sorts of debris get stepped on an kicked around and to top it all off the cooks chiefing cigs right outside the kitchen door - YUMMM!!! I opted to drink my dinner that night and made the ultimate choice to leave. I did have to use the bathroom so I made a pit stop on my way out. There was no TP except for the strands stuck to the pee ridden floor that hadn’t seemed to be cleaned in ions. While sitting on the deck, another small bomb must have gone off or they never cleaned up after the first one because the inside dining area still remained an eye sore. To your response, “tell a manager”…a manager is there to MANAGE - to comp a bad burger, to have your food recooked ASAP to your liking or to shine up a lacking dining experience. A manager is not part of your team to take full responsibility of what the owner is not maintaining. A bad dining experience, a sold out Mich Ultra or an overcooked burger are all daily mishaps in the restaurant biz but those experiences paired with disgustingly dirty dining areas, poor quality and expensive food, regretful employees, stinky bathrooms and bad attitudes are unforgivable and need to be fixed starting at the top of the food chain. Chose this place for lunch after noticing they had beef on weck on the menu. 1/3rd (a generous estimate) of the bun had the salt and seeds that sets apart a beef on weck from an average roast beef or french dip. Absolutely disappointing. Service was decent, however.

The place had great view. I would say that. But the food was not good for what I chose. The pulled pork was filled with chucks of fat. The napkin tray was filthy dirty on the top. The coleslaw was super bland. And to of it all the bathroom was horrific. EDIT 10-14-2025: Thank you for responding to my review I respect that and believe the issues will be addressed. If I was in the same position it would be my first priority. That said! I encourage those who have read my review and give the establishment a break, that you retake a picture of the napkin dispenser :-) and definitely some pictures and thoughts of your food and give your own review which would eventually increase their rating in there entirety. I look forward to your posts in the near future.

Ordered drinks at 7:10, after sitting there fror roughly 10min, drinks came at 7:15, and placed our order at that time. At 8:20 our food finally came. Waitress came at 8:25 and asked if we needed anything(first time seeing her since placing the order), told her the girl that brought our food already got the refills. 8:35 got the check. I would suggest only going if you dont mind waiting on your food for over an hour and not seeing your Waitress for over an hr! I must add that another table left because the time waiting for food, and they weren't even that busy when we placed the order!
