We'd been meaning to come for clams on a friend's recommendation. We were craving salmorejo, so we sat down for dinner and were pleasantly surprised to find the waiter was from Gran Canaria. We made his day by having fellow islanders working at the bar. The service was excellent, and the salmorejo and prawn salad were delicious—you could tell they were made with love. Don't hesitate to stop by.

Bar Antonio was simply my favourite place to eat in all of Punta Umbria. Aside from the quality of the food, which you simply need to try because words will not do it justice, the prices are incredibly affordable and the service was beyond excellent. Although, I do have to admit I got special treatment since it was my birthday and they were not that busy on the day. I can't recommend this place enough! Quiero agradecer especialmente a Guty y Paco. Desde la comida, hasta el servicio todo estuvo simplemente fabuloso. Regresaria a Punta Umbria solo para comer alli.

A place to eat typical Huelva dishes at a good price. Very fresh fish, a delicious prawn salad, and good service. If you're looking for a fancy restaurant, this isn't the place for you, but if you want to eat local food at a good price, it's perfect. It's also located next to the market and opposite the fish market.

Had a platter of seafood here and the owner was very welcoming. Food was delicious and when I asked for water, they gave me a bottled of water for free. Very grateful for the food and service.

Buena relación calidad-precio: la comida está muy rica, la cantidad es buena y el precio está bien. El camarero muy atento, aunque el servicio fue algo lento, estaban a tope. Nos regaló unos bombones helados como postre. Medidas de seguridad: algo de distancia entre las mesas, todos los camareros con mascarilla y limpieza de mesas y sillas antes de sentarnos. Muy recomendable para tomar algo.

Un sitio ideal para comer. Buena relación calidad - precio. Atención rápida y carta variada. Fuimos en dos oportunidades y en ambos, el pagar la cuenta fue como participar en una gymkana.

Exquisite traditional food, specializing in fish. Probably the best value bar in Punta Umbría. One of the waiters was very attentive. The dishes were hearty and delicious. 100% recommended.

I had golden bream (dorada), it was very good, simply cooked and very tasty. We also had the tuna which was just ok, a little over cooked but fine. Would eat at Bar Antonio again but probably choose something other than the tuna. Also shared a mixed salad and some beers. Can't fault the value for money at €29 for a meal for two.

Good quality of food and very little wait time in weekdays. However, on weekends (including Friday) the waiter seem to be all over the place and wait times increase drastically. Otherwise, I have been coming here for the past three years and after every experience I leave satisfied. Recommend it for a nice casual dinner in the center of Punta Umbria.

Typical beach bar, with the usual food you find in almost every bar, nothing new or innovative. Everything was tasty, though, so I recommend it for fried fish from the Huelva coast. The service was good even though several tables arrived at once, but the waitress was quick.

They had a bad day today, and they warned us as soon as we arrived. They told us we should be patient; there were dishes missing from the menu (cockles, roe, tails, etc.). They were kind enough to show us our patience. But they took a while to serve us, to bring each dish, which came in dribs and drabs. Then the place had a pointless decor, 3/4 tiled but antique, wooden furniture up there that makes no sense... a coat rack too... I don't know. The more I think about it... everything gets weirder. Then there's a tissue paper tablecloth, plastic garden terrace chairs inside the dining room, wobbly tables. On the plus side, there's something about the freshness of the produce. Anchovies, clams, adobo sauce, and the cuttlefish, which was a little firmer than usual. We have to get our act together, summer's coming. It's eating us up! I'll be back; if things are better, I'll change my review. Cheer up!

I've only been to this place for dinner once. The restaurant has a small indoor dining room and a fairly large outdoor area with plenty of tables. The menu isn't very extensive (which I appreciate), featuring typical local dishes like clams, cuttlefish, fried and grilled fish, etc. We ordered three half-portions for two people, which were more than enough to satisfy our hunger. The fried cuttlefish and Galician-style octopus were very good, but I didn't like the croquettes at all; they were dry and a very heavy, mushy mess. The waiter served us well. What I disliked most was that when we asked for the bill, they brought me a scribbled piece of paper with the total written in pen. In my opinion, that's unacceptable in a proper bar. In our case, the amount was clear, but when there are many diners, checking for any errors on the bill would be quite difficult. They should definitely fix this.
