This team of “experience ambassadors” do a great job of bringing a contagious energy to the hotel. Most of my experience was had on the beach chairs. As such, I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Mica, Coni and Juli. These ladies are exceptional at what they do. If attention to detail, appropriate energy and dedication to your experience are of value to you, come to Makesh Beach Club. To be clear, the whole team is great, but because of my experience I would recommend Mica, Coni and Juli to anyone. I had a great time, largely, due to them🤙🏼

This place is great! Juli will provide the most welcoming, warm and impeccable service. At first glance the price may seem steep but when you actually weigh it all in it is not. You get 800 pesos worth of consumables which includes top notch cocktails and high quality tasty food. You get access to the pool which provides a sense of zen, if you need to escape the incredible view of the beach. Service, quality, and great location.

Kicked our whole beach experience in Playa up! We absolutely loved the location and the staff, especially Connie was fantastic! Food was excellent, especially the guacamole and the fish and chips!

Julieta was the most amazing server anyone could ever have. My family & I spent the holiday there and she was not only our server but a friend. Always smiling and happy when it was busy. The entire staff was amazing and I hope the owner reads this. Not one complaint from the Rawles family in Michigan. We love & miss the staff already. We will definitely be back. ❤️🇲🇽

The vibe is quite chill and lovely. The service here really sets this place apart- some of the best I’ve ever had in Mexico. The ladies were lovely and attentive, very present when we needed anything and super pleasant. The price isn’t bad for what you get- I will say the food was just okay, nothing special but you’re here more to relax and have some drinks than to have a nice meal. The pool was a perfect temperature and very clean. My biggest complaint of this place would be the toilets. For a classy place that felt very clean overall- the toilets were quite grim. Otherwise: definitely come here to spend a nice and relaxing day!

The deal at Makesh was pay $1000 pesos per chair (plus umbrella), but $800 of that could count towards food and drink. The food was better than most of the food in PDC, in that it didn’t make us sick after. It was helpful to have pool access on days when the sea was too rough. The beach in front is nice and free of rocks, though you will be hassled by ppl trying to sell bracelets, mariachi songs, etc. Service was friendly and responsive.

We just visited this place in Dec 2024. It’s a great location with a great beach. You’ll get charged $600 pesos per person but they’ll refund $500 of that to you and drinks and food. It took about 30 minutes for the first round of drinks to arrive and then they ran out of tequila and so it took about another 45 minutes for the second round of drinks to arrive. In the meantime, I ordered food for the group and they brought us extra food that we did not order and our large group unknowingly ate it. They then proceeded to charge us for the food that we didn’t order. Neither the waiter or the management cared to remove the food from our order and forced us to pay for it. I think it’s pretty shady practices all the way around…..
