This was my first time at Sullivan's and I have to say Lily was the most amazing server and made this experience super special. The Lobster Mac N cheese was the best I have ever had and the cheesecake was spectacular. The crab fried rice wasn't the best but everything else was perfect. Would absolutely come back!

4.7 stars. Business dinner for our party of 12. Server and team did a wonderful job ensuring our drinks were always topped off and the evening flowed beautifully. My fillet was cooked perfectly and delicious with the Oscar topping. All appetizers ordered (shrimp cocktail, fried calamari, fried cheesesteak egg rolls) were a hit with everyone. The steaks and sides made for a superb meal. Slight ding on the food due to three members of our group who had to send their steak back b/c they were pinker than preferred. The private dining room and table setup was just right for an evening of hearty conversation and laughter. Thank you Sullivan’s Steakhouse team for a solid dinner and evening.

My son and I returned to the restaurant by invitation from Kayla Kruez the general manager to make up for a previously dinning experience. My recent visit more than made up for it. We could not have asked for a nicer, more calm and relaxing dinning experience. The service by Ryan, our server was top notch, the food was absolutely amazing, and the view from our table was stunning. The Sullivan's staff and managers Ian and Kayla went above and beyond to make sure we had one of the best dinning experiences of our lives. I look forward to dinning hear with my family for years to come. Thank you Kayla, Ian, Ryan, and the rest of the Sullivan team for such a wonderful experience!!!!

Brianna H did such a great job today! She was so cheerful and helpful every moment of the meal. The food is my favorite of any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Their Ribeye is to die for! We tried new appetizers today and they were amazing as well. We tried au-gratin potatoes for the first time and they were absolutely delicious. You really can’t go wrong at Sullivan’s. Thank you Brianna for making our 27th Anniversary an amazing experience! We’ll be back next year for 28!

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. It was a romantic restaurant with excellent service and really fantastic food. They had a happy anniversary card on the table and some rose petals, a very nice reception! One of my favorite points was that I did not feel rushed at all. It was a very leisurely dinner (several hours), and we got to really enjoy each other's company. The server was very friendly and helpful but left us to ourselves as appropriate. The food was better quality and presentation than we have had in a long time. The beef wellington bites were exceptional, and the cocktail options were interesting and creative. I got the lavender limoncello martini, my husband the wagyu old fashioned, both were fun and super tasty! We leisurely worked through our four-course meal, enjoying delicious house-made salad dressings and expertly cooked steaks. The salt crusted baked potato loaded with goodies was a real treat! It's a nice bonus that they offer several complimentary sauces for your steak as well. My husband's steak, the cowboy ribeye, was exactly what he wanted and cooked exactly as he requested. Most restaurants do not live up to his expectations of steak! Our server, Shannon, was excellent! She let us move at the pace we wanted and took her time and thought to help us choose the wine we desired, which turned out to be a perfect bottle for us. She was friendly, interactive, and recommended the perfect items for what we described. We would be very happy to return to Sullivan's and have Shannon wait on us!

Shannon made the best recommendations! Made us feel at home! Food was spectacular! Filet with The goat cheese Bernaise sauce was my favorite. Oh, and you cannot forget to get the crème brûlée and the carrot cake for dessert. It’s a must and don’t forget the specialty drinks and they have the best mock tails! I tried a little bit of everything tonight and everything was top-tier

Had an excellent dinner with friends at Sullivan's Steakhouse in Raleigh on a recent trip to North Cakalacki! The food was on point. We shared appetizers which included Steakhouse bites, the pork belly bites, calamari and oysters. My main was the ribeye done Cajun style with mushrooms. I did try Brussel srpouts from one of my friends. Larry our server was very helpful with the recommendations and was very friendly.

Everything was good. The tea was so sweet and good, and the food was delicious! Have to come here again. I forgot my waiters name but he was the bomb!!! The herb crusted chicken was the best chicken i ever tasted.

We’ve attended several of these awesome pairing dinners, and this was the best yet! Perfect portions of delicious food, excellently paired with tasty wines, all presented beautifully and served with consummate skill. Grateful to Steven, Edy, and Bri for their attentive detail and engaged and prompt service. Just an all-around LOVELY evening! Thank you all, compliments to the kitchen!

Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Raleigh is a beautiful and upscale restaurant that delivers a truly memorable dining experience. The atmosphere feels polished and inviting, with a lively yet comfortable vibe. Valet parking made arriving easy and the staff was warm and welcoming from the start. Everything felt well maintained and the bathrooms were clean. I ordered the porter steak with a lobster tail and it was outstanding. The steak was perfectly cooked and the lobster was rich and flavorful. The bread served before the meal was also fresh and delicious. Seating near the bar was a bit chilly during my visit, but when seated closer to the kitchen area it was pleasantly warmer. While Sullivan’s is very expensive, the quality of the food, the attentive service, and the elegant setting make it worth the splurge. It is the kind of place that is perfect for celebrating a special occasion or enjoying an unforgettable night out. I would gladly return for another meal and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates excellent steak and seafood in a refined environment.

Came here for a company dinner and was served by Steven, Shelly, and Ryan. Amazing food and drinks, amazing staff, and amazing atmosphere! We even got a magic trick at the end of dinner and it was so fun! Highly highly recommend!

So we had a really good time Paul was amazing. He worked so hard. I don’t know why the other bartender in this picture didn’t work so hard but you know that’s what happens with these millennials today just kidding. That place was fantastic. No one danced on the bar, I was kind of hoping for that but didn’t know this is our sixth or seventh time here so I have to say this wasn’t the best time I’ve had here, but it was almost the best time. Our dog loves the big Tomahawk steak bone

We went here to celebrate my birthday. The tables are a little snug, but the food was delicious. The food was not to be outdone by the service. Our server Ashley was knowledgeable, kind, and made sure that we were well taken care of giving us helpful tips to ensure we had a delicious meal. We enjoyed the Seafood Tower, the Tomahawk steak, and the French Onion Soup among other things. I would definitely recommend Sullivan's Steakhouse and look forward to going again. If so, we'd definitely request Ashley.

I celebrated my birthday here and our server was fantastic! The food of course was fantastic and the service was out of the world. Everyone that interacted with us was happy- meaning, they didn’t seem stressed. Steven our server was very nice and personable. I enjoyed his company.

I absolutely loved our meal and service at Sullivan's Steakhouse! We came for restaurant week and it was amazing. The meal included a starter, entree and dessert per person which was great for the price. Our waitress Shannon was excellent and very attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and our drinks were always full. Can't wait to go back!

This was our first time dining here and it was a very good experience for us. Shannon our waitress was very attentive and wonderful! She helped us through the menu and ordering and we were thankful for that! Great ambience, music and atmosphere! Food came hot and accurate! Most importantly, it was mouthwatering goodness! Definitely coming back for more!

My husband and I enjoyed our 15th anniversary celebration at Sullivan‘s. I had made a reservation online and noted that it was our 15th anniversary. We were very pleasantly surprised when we got to our table and there was a card with rose petals and a rose on it. Our server, Logan, was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable of the menu, genuine, and overall a very kind individual. His recommendations from the menu were also great! At the end of our meal, he brought us a cheesecake on a plate saying happy anniversary. It made our celebration very special!

Sullivan’s Steakhouse offers an upscale dining experience that delivers both on ambiance and flavor. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, with soft jazz melodies playing in the background, setting the tone for a refined evening. We began with appetizers: the deviled eggs with caviar were a standout—rich, creamy, and elevated with the salty pop of caviar. The tuna was fresh and delicately prepared, offering a light contrast to the decadent eggs. Even the bread and butter impressed, warm and crusty with a high-quality, whipped butter that melted on contact. For our entrees, the deep-fried lobster tails were indulgent and perfectly crisp on the outside while maintaining juicy tenderness within. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The king crab was sweet and generously portioned, making it a satisfying choice for seafood lovers. We paired our meal with several house martinis, which were well-balanced and strong, along with a few glasses of Moscato that added a sweet, refreshing note to the meal. Sullivan’s combines quality food with a smooth, classy vibe, making it ideal for a special night out or a sophisticated dinner with friends. Highly recommended for both steak and seafood lovers. Dress is business casual. There is metered parking or valet. There are several parking lots nearby and you can pay via their apps. They also have private dining rooms. You can reserve a table via their website too.

Our first time here and Shannon made it amazing! The food was top tier, the filet mignon was so tender I could have cut it with a spoon and the crab stuffed shrimp were to die for! Will most definitely be back.

We had such a great dining experience at Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Raleigh! Our waitress, Sarah, gave absolutely amazing service. She constantly checked in to see if we needed anything and was so sweet in sharing her opinions on the menu items, which was definitely reassuring when ordering. We started with the cheesesteak eggrolls, and they were packed with flavor—definitely a must-try appetizer. For my entrée, I had the herb brick chicken, which was juicy and tender, paired perfectly with fluffy and tasty mashed potatoes. The dish also came with peppers that had a nice kick to them if you like a little spice. We also tried the mac and cheese, which was creamy, cheesy, and topped with a perfectly crispy breadcrumb crust. To finish off the meal, we ordered the banana foster pudding, and it was the perfect dessert—rich, sweet, and absolutely delicious.

Came here for a lovely night out and it was so much fun. We had the best waitress, Lily, I absolutely loved her attitude and her vibes, she made the experience very fun. We've been here before and it didn't disappoint. The wine was awesome, the beef wellington bites were amazing and honestly everything else was awesome. The filet mignon was exceptional and so soft. I couldn't get enough of it. The carrot cake was ridiculously big, but delicious 😋😋😋. I'll have enough for the whole week and I can't wait. Everything was phenomenal, as usual.

Had the pleasure of taking my wife to Sullivan's for our Anniversary. Ricky was an awesome server and made sure our food came out perfect. The tomahawk steak came out just as I ordered. The table was even set up for us with rose petals and a Happy Anniversary Card. They really take care of their customers. A must go if you're in the Raleigh area.

We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary. First time customers, too! It was the best dinner experience we’ve ever had. Rose pedals on the table, a long stem rose for me, and a card with Happy Anniversary on the table. Shelley was our waitress for the night and she was awesome! The drinks, the beef wellington, the filet, the ribeye, the brussel sprouts, and desserts were fabulous! We cannot wait to go back! Would’ve given more stars if I could’ve!!

We return to this location yearly for our business dinner during the SAFRE conference. Ashton waited on our group this evening and provided the best service we have received! Sullivan’s is definitely one of the best steakhouses my family and I have ever been to. Everything including the food, atmosphere, and service was outstanding. Our waitress Shelly was very attentive and made the whole experience special for us. All of the food was great but the desserts were really the standout. Our waitress told us how the carrot cake takes 3 whole days to make which makes a lot of sense as soon as you take a bite; best carrot cake we’ve ever had! We will be back!

I went to Sullivan’s this week for dinner with my teammates. The downer service, good, and drinks were all delicious and served in a timely manner. We did have one issue with one of the steaks but the service we received to address the issue was top tier! Highly recommend Sullivans! Book your next dinner and corporate event there!

We had an amazing experience at Sullivan's Steakhouse thanks to our waiter Steven aka “Magic Man”! From the moment we sat down, he brought incredible energy, attention to detail, and top-tier service. He anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask and made the entire evening feel special. Friendly, professional, and genuinely fun. Steven truly made the night unforgettable. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal together. Our steaks were perfect. The cheesesteak egg rolls are an absolute must when you come. Our server, Shannon, was amazing. She was on top of our orders, drinks, and super friendly. A great server always makes you want to return.

The 12 oz. filet mignon is one of the best that I've ever had. The king crab legs were of good size and quality, but the flavor was a bit bland. The pan-seared scallops were phenomenal. The crab-stuffed shrimp is a must-try! The steakhouse mushrooms were good. The macaroni and cheese was great. The garlic mashed potatoes were great. The shrimp and lobster bisque was wonderful. Our initial waitress was switched after getting us drinks. The waiter that replaced her was very attentive. However, he didn't give us the bread or steak sauces we requested to go. We will definitely be back. The steak alone is worth a return trip.

We joined Sullivan's for their Bubbles & Caviar and it was wonderful. Bri did great, guiding us through the champagne pairings, Steven did a great job of emceeing the event and Edy did an awesome job keeping the food coming. We appreciated Jamie coming to our table to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Been here twice recently first on Valentine’s Day it was very busy but we expected that the service was great and the young lady at the host stand in the red and pink sweater was doing everything she could to make sure we got seated in a timely manner even helping clean tables while answering phones and greeting all guest with a smile I really don’t know how she did it…. Came in again last night and the host we’re not as attentive as before the young lady from valentine days was not there but we over all still had a good time and then this morning we get a call from the restaurant asking us about our visit and thanking us for coming we really appreciated that!!!

We had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday at Sullivans..The food and service were excellent, Our server, Steven, truly stood out. My boyfriend planned a birthday lunch for me here and it was amazing. Ricky was our server and IMMEDIATELY we could tell that he knew his stuff. He was quick, attentive, so so kind, and he was the only server during the lunch service! We really enjoyed our meal and would 100% recommend it. We got the calamari, steak salad, spinach, au gratin potatoes, crab fried rice and stuffed shrimp. All of the food was really good and if you have a chance to be served by Ricky he will make sure you have an incredible experience.

My wife and I thought we would go to Sullivan’s on Christmas Eve. I was a little hesitant because of the mixed reviews. We had reservations and were promptly seated at a table for two. The wine was excellent and it was the house red and white. The service excellent in every way. Timely, professional , knowledgeable, and joyous. Our steaks were done to perfection. This was a great experience and we will return. Oh, the ambiance is great very quiet, low key, dimly lit and romantic.

Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the hostess was welcoming and attentive. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish came out hot and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it perfect for both a casual dinner and a special occasion. Preston was a breath of fresh air and Steven was attentive and courteous. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, excellent service and wonderful entertainment. Thank you Preston and Steven.

The filet mignon was superb. My bread pudding was also very delicious. The mashed potatoes, bread, and soup were okay. Was a bit overpriced for what it was. Server was fairly attentive. The place is pretty upscale and nice, but the food quality didn’t match the ambiance.

Not bad, but the portions for restaurant week were somewhat of a joke. I should’ve ordered from the regular menu because I didn’t save that much money. I often find that’s the case with other restaurants that have a restaurant week option. The add-ons to get equivalent regular menu options would’ve ended up making it cost just as much as the regular menu. They did have some unique offerings such as a banana old-fashioned and a banana foster bread pudding. Both were really good. My filet mignon was good, although it was undercooked. They gave me about a tablespoons worth of mashed potatoes. They should do more with the aesthetics of the space esp the bar.

Cheesesteak rolls were phenomenal- don't skip these! I had the NY strip, (medium) w/ garlic-roasted butter and crab fried rice and this combo did NOT disappoint. Power move: dip the crab rice into the garlic-roasted butter for a REAL treat 🤌. The blueberry limoncello had the perfect combination of sweet & slight tartness which made it deliciously well-balanced. And lastly, our server, Samantha was friendly & very attentive to our needs & made excellent recommendations.

We had the private room reserved for a party of 17 for a wedding reception dinner and arrived at around 8P.m. The front desk was friendly and greeted us and within a couple minutes showed us to our tables. There was a $1500 minimum which I thought was a bit high considering 7 of our guests were children small enough to order off the kids menu. Our group was assigned 2 waitresses who were friendly but the attention was very lacking. We waited 10 minutes for the son of the bride and groom to receive a lemonade and it was never refilled in a 2 hr dining experience. Also, the youngest child in the room asked for a cheeseburger as his meal early on before other orders were taken but he was the last to be served. The meals came out in parts and pieces and Summer for food got cold waiting for everyone else to get fed. At the end we still had not met the minimum and there was enough left for us to get additional two bottles of wine and two bottles of champagne. It would have been nice if the server had kept up with that and offered us to drink it during our dining experience since we had multiple empty glasses on the table. The food was good but not great. In the end we still enjoyed ourselves because it was a very special day for this couple but I'm not sure I would return. I'm used to excellent service at restaurants of this level and was very disappointed.

Made a reservation for a birthday dinner. Came early and sat in the bar. Excellent service and atmosphere in the bar! Had some appetizers and some drinks. We tried the caviar deviled eggs, beef wellington bites, and tuna poke. Literally 5 tiny eggs of caviar on the deviled eggs, not enough to even taste it. The other two were tasty. Beautiful presentation on the drinks. Finally was seated, next to the loud kitchen, in booths that definitely need to be replaced. Absolutely NO cushion at all. We ordered a cajun ribeye with family style sides and my brother got a house cut ribeye. When the staff delivered to the table they gave us the wrong steaks, which we did not realize until 1/4 way through. When the manager came by he did not offer to replace or discount or anything. Their solution was to bring more chili oil to put on the wrong steak that was served covered in house steak sauce. Our steak was not cooked to temperature and the best part of the ribeye was burnt… which is a far cry from medium rare. Disappointing service from management. The lobster mac and cheese was not worth the price either. Chef just threw lobster on top of precooked mac/cheese. The best part of the night was our server Robin. She was exceptional. Other than that, for this price point, you are better off at Capital Grill.

We decided to try Sullivan's for our anniversary. Our server was great, informed us of all the specials. We ordered drinks, which were great. When it was time to order our dinner I had the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce on the side and my wife ordered the ribeye with the garlic butter on top; we shared sautéed spinach and the sweet potato casserole. I ordered my steak medium but it came rare. The cook must have been upset, when the steak returned it had a hard bark on the outside. My wife enjoyed her main meal. We ordered dessert to go. When we tried the dessert there was nothing special about it. Most notably there was a ladder at the entrance.

We went there for lunch and it felt like the tables were too close together. There was no pre fixe menu which would have been nice for the holiday. The food has seriously become overpriced. The steaks were fine but salads were not chopped. My scallops were salty and very small with literally one spoonful of risotto. Plus, I had to wait about 10 minutes longer for my food. Lobster mashed potatoes tiny and $22. The worst was tiny piece of cheesecake for $14. Since I asked to split I thought this was half, and waiter said no without blinking an eye. In addition the atmosphere inside is not as upscale as other steak places. Come if youre just ordering steaks and using gift cards or better to just eat in bar for happy hour. Otherwise recommendation is to go to a different steakhouse.

My partner and I chose Sullivan’s to celebrate our anniversary after seeing all the great reviews. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the experience. We aren’t very picky and are not usually ones to complain or leave bad reviews. In fact, I typically only go out of my way to write reviews for restaurants that exceed my expectations. However, this experience fell so far below the mark that I felt compelled to share. To be fair, the evening started off great—our table was decorated with roses, which was very cute and romantic. We ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls to start, which tasted amazing, along with a Caesar salad that was also good. However, it took an hour and a half for our entrées to arrive, and when they did, they were far from stellar. We ordered a Wagyu strip cooked medium and a bone-in filet mignon cooked medium rare. The Wagyu strip was slightly burnt on the outside and, honestly, much chewier than expected. While some fat is to be expected with a Wagyu cut, the large portions of extremely chewy fat were disappointing, and the same was true for the filet mignon. Both steaks also arrived lukewarm rather than hot. The sides were also lackluster for the price. We ordered the lobster mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, and Brussels sprouts. The mashed potatoes were quite bland, and the lobster contained pieces of shell. The sweet potato casserole was overly sweet, and while the Brussels sprouts had decent flavor, they were undercooked. All of the sides arrived rather cold as well. Our waitress was pleasant but not very attentive. We were rarely checked on, and she seemed to be stretched far too thin. We were seated near the kitchen, which appeared to be having issues, with numerous servers standing around waiting for food. We ended the meal with a slice of cheesecake for dessert, which was also underwhelming. To their credit, they did add a nice decorative touch to the plate. Overall, the experience was definitely not worth nearly $400 for a meal that we honestly felt we could have prepared at home for a fraction of the cost. When dining at a restaurant of this caliber, one expects a cohesive, elevated experience—from the service to each course—and we were left unimpressed. This was also the first restaurant of this tier we’ve visited for a special occasion where we did not receive a complimentary dessert. Not that it truly matters (what’s another $15 on such a large bill), but it felt notable given the nearly 90-minute wait for our entrées. What was meant to be a luxurious experience to celebrate our years together ended up feeling like an almost three-hour waste of time and money. Based on the reviews, perhaps it was just an off night—but we expected better.

I typically love Sullivan’s, but this one reminded me of one of those bad dates that you have with your ex’s when you knew you shouldn’t have gone. You know that feeling before a date when you realize you definitely made the wrong choice? Well my friends, it was as if my fore fathers of steak was warning me not to go as I had stepped my pretty little feet inside. As I stepped into the place that I “believed” was Sullivan’s, (unpronounceable as I could barely see a sign that showed the restaurants name) I was greeted by the friendliest of host. I will begin by stating that the hosts were the only great thing I found here. We came in early so we decided to go to the bar and have a drink. I asked for a dirty martini extra dirty which was not dirty to the kind I would’ve imagined. I imagined a cute virgin getting peed on by a bunch of pretty unicorns which was doused onto my martini as I lathered it softly. That was not the case. It was not dirty and better yet straight and plain, as if I was Jane meeting Tarzan for the first time. No flavor. The appetizer was mid to comparison, I ordered a calamari which was okay but the main course at which I was frothing over barely satisfied my steak craving. Granted I split a steak because my meager self couldn’t stomach all the steak it was flavorful but a tad dry. The mashed potatoes which I would have hoped mashed me so hard I would’ve not complained made me feel less than satisfied. We also weren’t greeted at our table until 25-30 minutes after we were sat and it was my birthday. They didn’t even say happy birthday or send me off with a birthday dessert. All they sent was a message a discount off my meal because of the 25 minute wait, and an old rose that I picked the pedals off and threw along side of the table to make it more festive. Would honestly say I’m less than disappointed but will just will just settle for never coming back again. I’ll be going to chuck-e-cheese for my next 30th birthday. The service there is way better. At least chuckie the rat will wish me a happy birthday.

We were looking forward to a great night, but sadly severely disappointed. The live music in the bar was the highlight from there it went downhill. The service was so slow. We started with drinks and two appetizers, and both appetizers were nothing great. We then got soup and salad, both fine. One entree was the prime steak frites delmonico and it was literally all fat not even edible. They literally put so much butter on top to mask all the fat. It took forever for a waiter to come back over to get our dessert order. The dessert was very good. Will not be back.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our dining experience at Sullivan’s Steakhouse on Christmas Day, which we chose to celebrate the holiday. Our 3:00 PM reservation was for four guests, including an infant. From the beginning, the experience felt unwelcoming due to an uncomfortable interaction at the host stand. Service delays occurred throughout the meal. Cocktails took approximately 20 minutes to arrive, appetizers took over an hour, and wine orders were significantly delayed. We were informed 30 minutes after ordering that an appetizer was unavailable, and a replacement appetizer did not arrive until the entrées were served, nearly two hours and forty minutes after our arrival. Additionally, a four top seated approximately 45 minutes after us received their food before we did, despite ordering after us.When entrées were served, only two arrived. One entrée was missing entirely, and sides were not delivered initially; some arrived later, while one never arrived at all. A child’s meal was also delayed and later delivered cold after being requested. While we understand Christmas is a high-volume holiday, the missed items, extended delays, lack of communication, and disorganization exceeded reasonable expectations. This was not the $800 dining experience Sullivan’s represents. We reached out to the restaurant directly following this visit and have not received a response after more than a week. This feedback is shared in hopes it will be taken seriously and addressed.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse was an experience with very mixed results. I’ll start with the highlight: the egg rolls were amazing—so good they honestly should be offered as an entrée. They were the standout of the entire meal. I ordered a Caesar salad with added salmon, which was just okay. Not bad, but not memorable or worth the hype for a steakhouse at this price point. Unfortunately, my husband’s entrée was a major disappointment. He ordered the crab-stuffed shrimp, and the shrimp were burnt and barely qualified as “stuffed.” The stuffing sat on top in a small ball rather than being incorporated, making the dish look more like a lackluster appetizer than a main course. For something marketed as an entrée, it missed the mark entirely. This dinner was a gift, so we were grateful for the opportunity to try it. However, if we ever return, we would strictly stick to appetizers, salads, and possibly soup—those seem to be where the kitchen shines. Overall, the atmosphere is nice, but the execution of the entrées didn’t live up to expectations, especially for a restaurant positioned as upscale.

My wife and I recently came for our anniversary and our dining experience was, at best, mediocre. We came with a reservation and had to stand around in a line of people to be seated. Whether this was due to lack of servers or lack of tables, I don't know. However, it shouldn't have happened to a party of two with a reservation. It is a small thing, but when you are paying the prices that these establishments come with, you hope for better. Once seated, we met our server, Lilly, who was actually nice and quite attentive. She seemed new, or maybe just nervous, but I had no issues. The closest thing would be that the complimentary bread took some time to get to us, but that may not even fall on her. She got everything written down as should be and even allowed me extra time to decide on an entrée when they were out of the lamb rack. We ordered a cocktail and old fashioned, both were good. They definitely do not warrant the 1 star review. However, the food did. We ordered the charbroiled oysters and calamari to start. Both came out lukewarm, but the oysters seemed bad as underneath the cheese, some oysters were both smelly and slimy. As oyster lovers, they just were not right. Our entrées took an hour to come out, which could be justifiable if our dishes were anything that took a long time. Instead, they were the cowboy cut rib-eye with lobster mac on the side and the scallops for my wife. After an hour of waiting, the disappointment of a burnt, warm (not hot) rib-eye was immeasurable. Although, I will say, they did cook it medium rare, but the outside was beyond seared. My wife was met with a mushy risotto that tasted bland and soulless. The scallops were okay while hot, but they got cold so incredibly fast that we were shocked. They became inedible after five minutes of being delivered. I believed it would be hard to mess up mac and cheese at a restaurant with supposed great chefs, but it was definitely pre-cooked, or even microwaved. After, the lobster must have been thrown in. The noodles were mushy under the crust and way too hard at the crust, and the lobster was just okay. It was a bad end to our anniversary, but the chocolate mousse cake we received did help. Sadly, I just cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Maybe if it was the price of Longhorn Steakhouse and being compared to that, it would be good.
