Espectacular.
Superou as nossas expectativas.
Aconselho a reservar.
Vale a visita.
Vale sempre a pena voltar.
Comida e atendimento tudo cinco estrelas. Comida bastante saborosa e típica da região. Atendimento muito atencioso sempre disponíveis e prestáveis.
Probably one of the best restaurants in portugal. Great service and traditional food cooked to perfection
Amazing food and wine, in big quantities and in an impeccable setting. We came here on a whim while passing through Arraioles and I was very impressed. Next time we’ll make a detour just to end up here.
Good local food and wine. Excellent and supportive service from Rui. Excellent deserts. The light above us was switching off and on and was very disturbing. Thank you! Good price/quality/quantity!
I’m really starting to live eating in Alentejo! We had black pork with clams, lamb chops, and a garlic soup. Oh, and of course an awesome bottle of local wine😉. All were amazing. We barely had room for dessert, but we managed to do it (and glad we did!). Portions are HUGE so come hungry!!!
is in my top 10 restaurants in Portugal. here you will find typical Alentejo food made with great care. all staff and very friendly. the owner of the restaurant is super friendly 5 stars
Make sure you'll work your apetite before come here, because you'll going no need every bit of space in your stomach you can get, to fill with the mouthwatering regional goodness you'll be presented with. You will not have the strength to send back the entrées, particularly the melted cheese, that is to die for, or the smoked ham. It is useless to resist. And let's not forget the wide range of cold salads. The menu consists mostly of pork and migas (delicious migas!!), which is a typical side dish from this part of the country. Here, they come in flavours you can't think of, like mint or fava beans! But you'll also find veal, lamb, and cação (another regional staple from Alentejo). Be advised, portions are really well served. And the desserts? Don't get me started... The decor features rural themes, it has the rustic vibe you would expect from such regional establishment. And because wine is another hallmark of this region, try not lose yourself in their extensive wine list.
Exceptional all-rounder like I (as a native) have seldom seen. Very presentable, fantastic staff, ample wine selection and very genuine high quality local food (including starters and desserts). One warning, though: one "dose" will easily feed a couple of hungry adults, and it's hearty food at that. Couldn't recommend it more. ❤️
If you're looking for a true Portuguese dining experience in a comfortable and authentic setting, look no further. About a 25 minute ride north of Evora, in the town of Arraiolos, it'll be worth the drive. An easy 5 stars with excellent food, service and atmosphere. Our waiter (shown below) spoke very good English and his menu recommendations were spot on.
Delicious food. Friendly and attentive staff. Reservation is a must, as the house is always full. The starters plate is almost a meal on its own. The portions are good for sharing. We took first cod-fish rice and then pork secrets with asparagus migas.

Lovely local alentenjo restaurant. Great homey feel, excellent service and local cuisine. Get the lizard! It’s grilled pork - delicious!
good food and warm people the starters were excellent very good pie and the wine store amazing to come back
Relación calidad precio no acorde.
The food was lovely here, but not outstanding. Our waiter was great but his English wasn’t the best - so we ended up ordering a main dish each, and when they arrived it became clear some dishes were for sharing so we had a lot of food! But the waiter was great, charming and did his best to help us. The wine choice here is incredible, so be prepared to make a choice! We were certainly full by the time we left!
Very good restaurant where you can have traditional Portuguese food. The decoration is quite nice. The food was amazing, really delicious and the desserts also great. Staff was very friendly and professional. If you want to visit this restaurant I recommend you book in advance as they’re always full. A little bit overpriced for the area but the experience was good. I’m definitely returning.
Great restaurant to go and taste Portuguese food of the region. We went there during our trip to Évora and we’re not disappointed, everything was very good. We basically had almost all of the couvert/entrees that were on the table and the only thing that we didn’t like was the pate. The main plates were just great (unfortunately only took the picture of 1 of them) specially the migas which are just to die for. Another (very) positive aspect it’s the wine, as soon as you enter the restaurant you are presented with the “wine store” and the employee helps you to identify the best wine and I just loved his suggestion and our talk about the wine. In the end he also presented us with some liquors and aguardente. After all this why is it not a 5*? I don’t know.. something is missing for it to be an amazing experience but it’s one of those places that I hope to return soon and be shown that they do indeed deserve the 5*.
Very good restaurant, with typical food (very good) from Alentejo. The owner and employees are very friendly. The wine list os complete with very good Sines. I recommend..

waiter was great. His English was not great. And my Portuguese is nonexistent, but he brought over his phone w google translate so we cd communicate
Dinner with a group of friends turn in to a nightmare. We started at 8pm and waited 1:50 for the main dish.
Pretty big portions , but quite mediocre taste . 6.5 euro for vino de casa (glass) is kind of overpriced, so felt a bit robbed .
A solid, honest restaurant with large portions and traditional food. The food is good, but ends up being too fatty and intense. The pork cheek was a great way to get us going. Moist, tasty, contrasting with the tartness of spinach cooked in lemon. The “sopa da pedra” was rich, fatty and flavorful. The portion was enough for two. The fried “carapaus” were much too salty. Almost not eatable. But the accompanying tomato rice was soupy and flavorful. Perhaps a bit too sweet on the back of the onions. They only serve one wine by the glass (“Ravasqueira”, the house wine), which is not good. That’s a shame. Service was friendly and efficient. I won’t mind going back.
We went to this restaurant as it was the top recommendation from trip advisor, though it felt short in so many ways. I have ordered a veal steak medium rare it came really raw. Without an issue I ask…
