My wife and I were craving Recco's legendary focaccia with cheese. I'll start by saying that I'm from Genoa, so I've eaten it hundreds of times and am well-versed in cuisine in general, and Genoese cuisine in particular. We ordered a good medium Chiara beer, a trio of focaccias: a classic, a pesto, and a pizza. The pizza and the classic were a bit too salty for our palates, while the pesto one was excellent, and overall good. The desserts were both good, though perhaps the affogato wasn't as deep in chocolate. The portions were generally just right. They're kind and professional.

The pizzas were tasty and the prices amazing. Would definitely recommend goind there but sadly, the service we got wasn't good at all... We felt a bit unwelcome, she didn't even pour the wine into our glasses. Maybe we were a bit late and she was tired, I don't know.

Pizza arrived on time, but this thing covered in a crust of mozzarella is not pizza. I wish I took a photo cause I received a crust of cheese with some tomato sauce and 6 awful looking slices of parma ham. It was quite difficult to digest as well.
