Corbetts is hands down the best breakfast and lunch in Redding. From the owners to the staff to the cook they all do an amazing job The food is always consistent they're friendly. My wife and I absolutely love patronizing this business. For one reason, and one only, we enjoy this place of food and the environment. Her name is Dana. She is the most gracious and loving person to ever have served us. If we can’t enjoy Dana’s beautiful heart to serve and empathetic kindness we are glad to patronize one of the many fine restaurants in town instead.

The best Philly steak sandwich in Redding. Price is good and well worth it. All the staff is awesome. Highly recommend.

Corbett's is am amazing place to get breakfast or lunch. I have never had anything off of their menu that wasn't fantastic and the food isn't even the best part. All of the wonderful ladies who work here never fail to treat customers with the same level of respect as you would an old friend (which sometimes is literally the case) this little restaurant has a great atmosphere and it is always a pleasure to go here.

I really enjoy the quiet atmosphere. No loud music, obnoxiously loud customers or servers that are in your face every 5 minutes asking if everything is ok. Just a peaceful, quiet and delicious place to eat. Personally I love the Downtown Omelet! The turkey, mushroom, cheese and hollandaise sauce is pure magic! By itself, it's great but I cover it in Sriracha sauce. Crazy Good!

I LOVE Corbett's. It has a very family like atmosphere. My parents eat her almost every Saturday and occassionally I come along (when invited) The waitresses are great and very personable. They work hard and the food is great and priced right. I have only tried the breakfast menu but everytime I order I have been totally satisfied! If your looking for a hometown feel this is the place.

Wow! The food at Corbett's was amazing. My wife and I stopped here after a 30 hr road tripping to CA and we were so thankful we did! The breakfast was incredible. We each had their omelettes and their homemade biscuits; you have to try their biscuits! The waitress was very friendly and great at what she does. Overall, we were extremely satisfied

First visit after the change of ownership. We were greeted and sat in a timely manner. The restaurant was clean and had a good decor. All day breakfast and lunch menu on a Sunday. There were many items that looked good. Our server provided some helpful suggestions. After ordering, our food was served surprisingly quickly. It was of a proper temperature and was very tasty. The prices are fair for the portion sizes. We will definitely return, as we intend to sample many of the menu items, especially due to how well we enjoyed our lunch today.

Everything was so tasty! I had the downtown omlette. Turkey, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, covered in holindaise, with biscuit and gravy. Watching the other tables, all the plates were beautiful!

Eggs Benedict, very tasty and the hollandaise sauce was excellent. The portions are filling and satisfying. I would recommend as a breakfast/brunch location. I have not tried lunch or dinner but glancing over the menu, it would be well worth a try.

We happened upon this eatery in downtown Redding about 6 months ago. We were hungry and looking for good places to eat. While we were getting gas, we noticed a packed parking lot at Corbett's , so we went... follow the crowd philosophy paid off big time! The Pilly Cheesesteak was recommended and did not disappoint 👏! The waitresses all have great personalities, and that makes the experience all the better! Definitely recommend you try this place.

I'm so excited to see that this awesome diner has expanded its menu and is open on the weekends! This is a must to bring family and friends to experience a warm environment and great staff. Downtown had great things happening and this is one of them. The owners are truly excited and are thrilled to meet the evening crowd!

We have had breakfasts and lunches here. The food and the service are excellent. Their Eggs Benedict is the best I have ever had. The ham was delicious, eggs cooked perfectly and the Hollandaise sauce was the best ever. All of the sandwiches we have ordered were delicious and their french fries were excellent. Everything is fresh!

We are like part of the family there since it is our favorite place for breakfast or lunch. The owners and staff are friendly and give great service. The menu is extensive and it is possible to get half portions for light eaters. It is always sparkling clean and the food attractive as well as delicious. Try the Mexican dishes which are extra flavorful.

This is an amazing spot for breakfast. Parking is difficult in larger trucks unless you park on the street which we did. The Eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had, the hollandaise was the perfect consistency and the ham was flavorful. The waitress was very attentive and kind. My husbands corned beef hash was very tasty. Pastrami sandwich very flavorful. Highly recommend the fresh cinnamon roll too - only complaint is the price. I had a couple kids who ordered the small kids meals(eggs + 1 piece of bacon or sausage), along with hot chocolates (which have to be $5+ a piece) plus our two coffees and the bill was over $100. Not expected but very high quality and wonder I service, so it’s worth the extra penny. We will definitely be back the next time we come through Redding!🍳 🤤 Ps. We did see a man punching himself in the face in the gas station parking lot next door, harassing everyone trying to get gas. Also a large homeless population in this area so, you know, always be aware of your surroundings

We so love this restaurant!! The breakfast is amazing and the dishes they offer are tasteful. The prices are great and the chefs know how to cook. The environment here is nice... it feels a bit like a winery inside. Dark and quiet, with warm wood and classy decor. The women serving here are outstanding! They are sincerely sweet and friendly, with good work ethic. They meet a higher service standard that can be hard to find in Redding. Thank you all for being awesome!

I can't say enough about this restaurant. The only negative (and is it really a negative?) Is, unless you have a huge appetite, order the 1/2 orders. Full orders are HUGE but they're reasonably priced and absolutely delicious!

My wife and I went to a concert on a Friday night and woke up with a hankering for good a good breakfast spot. We drove around aimlessly downtown and found Corbetts all by chance. I ordered the chorizo eggs Benedict. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak. The food was amazing. Satisfying and large portions too. Our waitress was great. Nothing bad to say about this place. The atmosphere felt inviting the minute we walked in.

I've been here before and our waitress was super mean and did not return after a couple of years. When I returned because a family member wanted to try it, I was helped by a very nice hispanic hostess but the mean waitress still helped us. Decided to give it a 3rd try and our waitress Allison was super nice and friendly. Her service was excellent👌definitely recommend! 10/10 ordered too much food but taking the rest to go since it was all yummy 😋

I am so impressed with the Tostada Salad, it is a delicious wonderful combination of veggies & protein. I appreciate that they are taking the Pandemic seriously and provide hand sanitizer at each table. The staff are wearing masks. 😷 The seating was good. They even have a nice little wine section..... This is a very nice, bespoke place to grab a bite to eat in the downtown area.

A local hotel (Americana modern hotel) gave us this rec for good diner food at great prices, and it didn't disappoint. Breakfast was good, staff was attentive, food came out fast. We got a breakfast burrito with some hot salsa (we had seen it on reviews but wasn't on the menu, they said they could make one of course). I got the Denver omelette and biscuit.

The food was good. Seemed like everyone in our party was happy. The resturant is in desperate need of more help. Our server Maria was great. There was another older lady helping as well it was very noticeable that her finger nails are unkept and dirty. I think this could be a great place to come back to if they had adequate staff. The resturant was packed, covid protection restrictions not enforced.

Great service from the time we walked in the door. My husband and I easily found a number of menu items that would sate our appetites. In fact, it was hard making a decision about what to order. The food was good and we enjoyed our lunch.

Corbett's is one of my favorite breakfast/lunch places. They have amazing sandwiches. I like to get the turkey cranberry sandwich. Their country potatoes are among the best I've had. I rate it 4 stars for it's great food, but it comes at a price. On average I pay about $30 for two people to eat.

It was inexpensive. Good for the price. My eggs were done to my specification which doesn't happen often. The waitress was sweet and just on it with my coffee. She made great recommendations for us.

We waited a bit longer for our food than I would have liked but not too bad. Over all a very nice breakfast.

While we didn't try everything on the menu -- we did hear good things -- my husband's Lobster Benedict was pretty overwhelming. Worth the stop.

Great sandwiches, quality food, and a wonderful variety on their menu at a nice price point. Staff was friendly and non invasive which for me is wonderful when I want to focus on three people I'm with. My only minor complaint was that the onion rings were a bit hard to bite into. But that could've just been one bad batch which happens. Overall wonderful can't wait to go again!

Friendly, fast, and delicious. The steak was a bit chewy, but that's a bit my fault for asking for "thoroughly cooked." Before you freak out, I had terrible good poisoning from "medium rare" so I'm still a bit cautious if I think the chef is anything less than gourmet. Having said that, their fruit and steamed veggies are top notch. Enjoy!

Saturday brought a new group of family to Redding and we chose Corbett’s. They have a convenient downtown location in the middle of everything. Good size for small and large parties alike, we were greeted and seated swiftly. The server was very knowledgeable on the menu and what she did not know she asked rather than making up an answer. As you can see the portion sizes are large and almost shareable. My daughter’s Benedict Sauce was awesome, my son’s biscuit cream sauce good too. I asked for spicy and while it wasn’t mind blowing (my fav) it was full of flavor with a bite. When you are thinking 💭 of a place to dine in Redding, put Corbett’s to the head of the class.

First time here. Nice little restaurant. Came here for breakfast, left full and satisfied. Ordered the country breakfast and sourdough benedict. The biscuits were really good and fluffy. The gravy was not as hot as I'd like but it was still good.

And that’s ok, it’s not a knock. everywhere should have its position and thrive at that. wait staff are very nice and top notch price is ok coffee is terrible btw. that’s an easy fix. they should fix that.

My fiance, our friend and I tried this place for the first time about a couple weeks ago. Its really cute on the inside! Very comfortable. The food was pretty good. The service was okay but we always got our refills. My potatoes tasted okay, kinda overcooked had a burnt taste. Will definitely come back to try more!

It wasn't bad but it wasn't super special either. The portions seemed small compared to similar places. The looked like they had a good wine selection if that is your thing, it's just not mine.

The food was good, but not great. No one made you feel welcomed or appreciated. It was like a hog trough. Belly up, eat up, get outta the way, there's other pigs to slop. A small town dinner restaurant needs to create warmth for a return clientele. Perhaps they don't need more clientele, so new customers don't get the energy. The waitress didn't bring our order correctly, but never checked back, except with the check, before we finished eating. I have eaten here before, and had the same experience. Come back every couple years hoping it will change. Third visit, still the same. Go to Humble Joe's instead.

Stopped by with some friends on our way back to Washington. It was a great atmosphere and delicious food but my friend got a waffle, 2 eggs and a English muffin that came up to $22. Outrageous! If you stick to their regular menu items you'll be fine dont get any extra sides unless you wanna be robbed

While the service was great and fast, the food was among the worst I've ever eaten anywhere. I had a steak sandwich on dutch crunch bread with onion rings. The steak was flavorless and the bread was actually more like undercooked thick biscuit dough. The onion rings were soggy and left a pool of grease on my plate, even though the breading should have been good if they had been drained properly. I have heard that their breakfasts are better, but after this, I don't feel the need to try.

It was nice. I hadn't eaten there for years. Took my spouse there for lunch. It was just too expensive. Over $40 for lunch. We are looking for a new place to have our weekly lunch at, but for $15 more we can have a nice dinner. So, it was nice, the food was good, but too expensive fir a weekly lunch.

The food was mediocre. I don't know why you can't get a decent burger anymore.. and not just here but every restaurant I've been to in the last year. My daughter loved her steak. I didn't appreciate getting an extra charge for using my debit card, but the waitess said that it was normal.. just seemed odd to me.

I'm seeing a lot of good reviews of this place. Unfortunately my experience wasn't quite as good. The lady who welcomed me and my dad at the door wasn't very friendly. When we got seated she got us coffee and then kinda rudely said she's not our server when my dad was asking her a question about the menu. Our food wasn't too memorable and the coffee was super weak. It's an ok place but I feel like there are better options than this for breakfast in Redding.

Clean, nice place. Decent diner food. I don't go out much, so my sticker shock at the downtown prices was considerable. Four dollars for six cents worth of soda will never ever seem okay to me.

My salmon omelet had canned salmon mixed into my egg whites, with a little Spinach inside.. covered in a milky pink sauce🫤. The second star is for the biscuit (delicious), and the waitress was very pleasant and efficient.

I don't understand why I can get hash browns with my corned beef hash (potatoes with my corned beef and potatoes) but I can't get anything at all to go with waffles or pancakes or french toast. Who goes to a restaurant for pancakes with no sides? And they don't salt the eggs or hash browns while they're cooking. Do you know what happens when you put salt on already cooked hash browns? It just bounces all over the place. Season your food.

My husband and I ordered the house Ruben sandwich I had cup clam chowder my husband had fries with his sandwich the clam chowder had lots of bacon so it was a bacon chowder instead of clam we had to ask for thousand island because it was not added to sandwich they were very very light at this point my husband and I decided that we won’t be back this was our first experience first time there not going back

Terrible. The one star is the server. She was great. The food was cold. Slow. Not great service from the other two women walking around , when the owner of a restaurant and ask how everything was it's to be thought it's an honest answer you wanted not a trick question and your answer is "hmm" and not an apology. Garbage for such a well known place.

This review is a little harsh but...the salmon salad WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SALMON I HAVE EVER HAD DRY AND SOOO SMAL but menu states generous amount, absolutely a lie. Salad was not good at all what so ever it lacked taste salmon soo dry and cheap salmon salad for being 17 was a complete joke I had to send it back as well as my daughter's Mediterranean salad was horrible the champagne dressing is not good lacks thr right taste for champagne dressing,. My daughter also got salmon on her salad as well it was dry and weird taste for salmon we had to send it back and leave I was super disappointing 😞 also we got latte not very good also the potatoes were NOT cooked at all and I mentioned to the waitress and she stated thry come under cooked like that and get this I WAS CHARGED 20.95 FOR FOOD THAT WAS HORRIBLE..BAD FOR BUSINESS I would have not charged anything to avoid bad reviews. GO ELSE WHERE

Was charged for a crusant and got a burger bread. Got one end slice of tomato on my turkey sandwich with one teaspoon mayonnaise. Very poor sandwich . Charged me $14.98. Too much for a sparse sandwich. Have went there many times before and now they are cutting back on food portions and quality. Chris-and Mel Corbett knew how to run a restaurant these people need help.

My wife and I used to go here regularly. The previous owners were great and you could always count on good food and good service. Since they sold, the food and the service has gone steadily down hill. The new owner does not seem interested in running a quality restaurant. What a shame. We've been there for the last time.

Service was good. The food was just awful. There was a hair in my hash browns, the waitress saw me discover it. I had not even taken a bite yet. The main issue was my eggs were not over medium. The whites were not throughly cooked. She took the plate back and I was brought a new food. Well, the hash browns were the same ones because I used pepper and they didn't come that way the first time. The eggs yolks were now half cooked and the white was crispy. NOW for the bad part... The oil that was used tasted quite off. An old rancid and slightly chemical taste. It was so bad that I could only eat a few bites. I mentioned it to the waitress and had her take the food away... Yes I was still charged for it.... It was the first time in my 67 years that I could not eat food that was served to me in a restaurant. My husband ordered the breakfast bowl special. He ate it but agreed about the strange taste as well. I'm still feeling ill.... As we exited a lady said thanks and please come back. NEVER again!!

After 25 minutes (!) of being seated and waiting for ANY offer of water, coffee, to place our order- we left. Will not go back. We were not the only ones sitting there waiting for service. Other people who seemed familiar to the servers were immediately seated and given drinks and had their orders taken. 25 minutes without a glance or offer of any kind.

Food is gross, and service is terrible, and the men's bathroom is in major need of repairs! It's one of the very worst restaurants I've ever been to in my entire life! I can't say this enough. DON'T GO THERE!!!!!

I really really hate that I have to change my review for this place because we loved it so much. However, over the last year it has very significantly gone down hill. The good and the service have slipped little by little making for some very disappointing experience. However our last meal was the deciding factor to not go back. The wait time was incredibly long, and we were shocked to see the portion sizes were about half of what we normally see. My mom orders the same salad every time, I get the hot open faced turkey sandwich and my toddler will usually share with us. The turkey sandwich normally has what appears to be hand sliced turkey while this appeared to be prescribed deli lunch meat. It was also not served on the usual thick sliced white bread but was on very thin seeded rye bread it seemed. The salad didn't have its usual beautiful sliced chicken breast but instead had tiny diced chicken cubes. The worst part about it is that both my two year old and my mother got incredibly sick. He used to drive by this place and ask to eat there, now when he sees it he says he doesn't want that plce.
