This place has been several other businesses that have gone under, but Huicho's has amazing food, and horchata made on the spot. I have been to hundreds of Mexican food places but this place is in top 3..... everything is authentic and will not upset your stomach (us white people can be sensitive). Cheap food with amazing taste.

Oh my Gawd! I saw thus place while passing by to get gas and was hungry for a Torta so hungry. So I said, "I'm gona go back and try that lil place". So glad I did. That was the Best Torta I've had in a very long time. Sad to say I've had tortas but not like this one. I don't live nearby so I opted to eat in and drink a large beverage of course cuz it's HOT. My Torta came out and it came with 🍟 to my surprise 😮 😋yummiest, what a treat. Fresh hot fries. Fresh hot red salsa, oh my gosh I wanted to steal it (seriously). I ate as much as I could and saved some for later for my drive home. I pulled off and decided it was time to finish it. Mmmm Mmmmm. So good I couldn't get enough. The lady working there was so super nice and kind. It was very sweet. She has great customer service skills and I appreciate that very much. This spot was busy with to go orders on the phone and people ordering to go food there at the window. I so so glad I saw this place and especially glad I went back after getting gas. I now have a authentic Mexican food spot that makes my tummy very 😊 happy. The food is really good! My husband and I had some chilaquiles verdes and the flavor was amazing. It comes with beans on the side and eggs of your choice. My sons had tacos de carnitas and they were good too, they're small but come with double tortilla so it fills you up pretty quickly. The wait for the food wasn't long. Recommend it!

I ran across this place from yelp reviews as you can see the star rating is pretty good we ordered 2 carne asada burrito's 1 crispy chicken taco and 1 shredded beef however when we arrived home we had 2 hot & fresh. .pork burritos 1 shredded beef taco and a something else taco I honestly don't know what it was so of course I am mad eating with an attitude that was one of the best burritos ever the shredded beef taco was on point the beans are the bomb great flavor really really good so I let them slide on a star deduction bet not happen again... Delicious folks!!

Great service to go along with delicious meals. I have had the cheese enchilada plate twice and the 4 taco (pollo) plate yesterday. I ate every last bit of everything. The menu has a nice variety and I’m looking forward to trying the fish tacos.

These are incredibly tasty tacos. Some of the best. I could drive 50 miles for their al pastor (although my favorite at any taco place are carne asada). I think these are the best tacos in Redlands and possibly the IE. Guacamole is fresh and the hot sauce is made there.

Good street tacos, fast friendly service. The burritos have a very good proportions of rice to beans and cheese and filling. The tortillas are well made. On the st tacos they arrange them very nicely good presentation. Place is a little run down inside but it is delicious and worth it.

Tacos are amazing! Quality of food at this Mexican food spot is actually authentic which is hard to find here in Redlands. I highly recommend if you want real Mexican food. I always get the asada tacos or the asada burrito. I no longer live in state so when I do come to visit, I always come and get Mexican food here.

Their Taco Tuesday and Thursday deals are the best in town. I love their carnitas-- super flavorful and not ridiculously greasy (just enough grease!) and I always save their salsa to use on my scrambled eggs, it's so yummy. This is a regular restaurant for us!

This is my taco spot!! I have been coming here for years and they are my favorite Mexican food spot around!! I love the tacos, soups, taquitos, and enchiladas. Seriously some of the best food around. This place is the best Mexican food in all of SoCal.... I drive up from San Diego to get great tacos from them. I’ve catered through these guys and my entire family raved about the food. I recently ordered beans and rice for Christmas dinner with them, and the food was so good and authentic that my grandfather thought my grandmother had made it! 😂 The owners and staff are lovely people, and the food is excellent!

I try to eat here once a week. My visit this morning was amazing as always. Food is always fresh and delicious. I get a bean rice and chz with chili Verde sauce. Rochelle and Nancy are so nice and of course we love when Huicho is there. Pretty steady business, can get a little busy sometimes and it's worth it. Authentic and great tasting.

Best Thursday fish tacos!! These tacos and this hot sauce are FANTASTIC! On any usual day the big version is like $5 but on Thursday they are $1.25. I love them so much that on usual days I'll still buy one but on Thursdays I'll take 4 smaller ones for 1.25 each and be a very happy camper! Great service and atmosphere also! Yay Huichos!

Oh yeah... Stopped in here based off of a friend's recommendation. Just got a basic huevos rancheros. But everything was done right. Hope to travel out that way again and get into the menu a little deeper.

Buche taco and al pastor taco. Both excellent. Make sure you get the pink hot sauce. It will bring a tear to your eye and a burn in your mouth.

This taco place had excellent customer service the person that was taking our order name Luis was friendly and helpful and very generous and he let the cook know that I’m pregnant and took precaution and the food was delicious and had my baby dancing in my tummy and it is a family owned business and they work hard and thrive to have smiles on customer faces they made us feel family aswell

Visiting family in the area and found this little gem of a Mexican restaurant. Everything was absolutely delicious. Great value too. Associate at the counter was friendly and patient with my family, as it was our first time visiting and we took a little while to decide on what to order. My husband had the asada street taco special with rice and beans, and it was phenomenal. I had green chicken enchiladas and the sauce was the best I’ve had since I lived in SE New Mexico 25 years ago. Their salsa was great. Just enough of a kick of heat that you definitely felt it in your mouth but it wasn’t unpleasant. Chips were fresh. Beans and rice were great. Burritos and flan were great. The interior of the restaurant was a bit run down and had no decor or creature comforts to speak of, but I get the impression that most people do takeout so it’s not an issue for most. Overall we all very much enjoyed our food and wish we had something comparable closer to home in the Midwest.

I love tacos. We're visitors to Redlands and a quick search showcased Huicho's as highly reviewed, high average stars. AMAZING TACOS. I had the carnitas, chorizo, carne asada and something else- doesn't matter b/c anything from Huicho's is going to be FANTASTIC. 4 Taco combo plate, I'm a corn tortilla man, ordered with cilantro/cebolla over all of it. Taco heaven. I wish I put more thought into the order I ate them. I guess I'll have to get more. My buddy wished he got cilantro/onion. I wished Ii got rice and beans. RICE. BEANS. Easy to make, not so easy to get right. I was pleasantly delighted with the staples here, and it matters. My son ate all of his rice and beans, and he's a foodist. Thanks Huicho's!

Fantastic tacos and tortas. Absolutely will eat there again, the staff were very nice. I'd recommend the chorizo torta the spices were well balanced and it wasn't over cooked but some pieces had that beautiful crispiness to it. The bread was nice and pillowy but not mushy, good texture. if you're in the area come check out this gem, it's not often I say things are a gem but this place takes the crown.

The tortillas on the tacos were great. Lengua tacos and carne asada were both very good. We ordered a bunch. Only thing was ... there was a piece of like a brillo pad in my bfs rice. Had to say it. Would totally go back again tho.

Gave this place a try for takeout, we had the BRC burrito wet style, plus the ranchero burrito. The ranchero burrito was very flavorful, I will Definitely get it again. The BRC wet style burrito was tasty as well, the red sauce taste great. If you get the red salsa it does have a nice kick. Looking forward to try their lunch and dinner menu items.

Came back to edit my review. Giving them 4 stars now only because of the awesome worker who took our order today. We usually order two carne asada burritos (pretty sure he knows us by now lol) but since the first time he’s served us his positive energy and attitude has always been great. It doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated. Carne asada burritos here are amazing, little pricey but they’re big and taste great.

I was looking for something that would be as good as our favorite Mexican spot (Paco's Tacos in San Bernardino), but closer to home. The food came really close to being as delicious but I had sticker shock for sure. $75 to feed a family of 6 (9 tacos, 4 BRCs)!!! Maybe just the hubby and I will eat here from now on…

Got a bean and cheese burrito which was tasty, hubby got tacos...food was good... a little too expensive though. Almost $6 for my burrito...$3 for a tostado $5 a large taco...(still small) with those high prices...the place could look a bit better...looks like a hole in the wall place...we almost changed our mind on eating there. $29.00 for our food was too much. $20 would have been acceptable. Told hubby I rather spend that kind of money at Cafe Rio...for better environment and excellent food. 4 stars because the food at Huichos was decent.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered the three hard taco dinner with a different meat in each taco; which came with beans and rice. The tasting of the food was excellent. The only complain was my beans and rice were barely warm. I will most definitely go back.

Good place for a quick Mexican food fix. There are not many tables and is pretty cramped inside. Food is great and service is friendly, but stretched a bit thin, at least when I was there it was. Would definitely come back, but I’d probably do takeout instead.

I'd say these are some of the best Taco's in Redlands. There salsa is good and if you like it hot get the red... we personally got the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos and we're impressed with both but the Carnitas were the best. The portions are great for the price and on Tuesday the tacos are only $1.49 each. I recommend and will be returning on Tuesday lol. The only local tacos that can compete in my book are in mentone at Jhonnys Tacos Sports Bar.

my first time here. Was recommended by a friend to come eat at this place from the looks of the outside looked like it was a little run-down little hole-in-the-wall taco place as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the gentleman that works at the cash register I believe he was really nice he told me exactly what they have for specials so I ordered the taco special soft tacos I ordered one of each kind of meat that they sell and I got to say that I'm very happy with the taco that has a good flavor I will be coming back the salsa the red salsa is amazing I wish I would have had a little bit more they just gave me these little tiny cups that have probably about enough for two tacos but other than that it was good service however one of the girls that work there was gossiping and when they called my order up when it was ready it seemed that she got bothered by me asking for salsa and rudely asked me isn't it in there! And I said no they didn't give me anything so she went to go get me some salsa but other than that the food is delicious

The burritos are outstanding, even if a little expensive ( $13 for a burrito?). Every time I’ve gone the food has been yummy and quick.

This Mexican restaurant is probably the most authentic in all of Redlands. The food tastes fantastic. I only gave them four stars because they’re cheap on giving hot sauce. They serve good amount of food, but very little hot sauce. I originally only had two tiny containers I asked for more and only got two more.

The food fantastic, but I have to give 3 stars because the employees are NOT wearing their masks properly. I gestured several time to pull up their masks which they did, but a second later, they fell down again. Please take this pandemic seriously and wear proper fitting masks.

I've only had a few items here. I've had fish, al pastor, and chicken soft tacos, and chile verde nachos. There were good. I didn't like their ground beef tacos. I tried both (hard and soft.) I thought their prices were high. My wife and I got 2 ground beef tacos, 1 side of guacamole, 1 order of French fries, and 1 order of chile verde nachos and it came out $22.

Hole in the wall type place. Really good carne asada and chorizo street tacos. Their beans are delicious. If you don’t like heat chili 🌶 stay away from the red and orange sauce and stick with the green salsa verde. The chicharrones street taco was very hot and I couldn’t eat it. The carne asada steak meal , the carne asada was over cooked and too chewy. Ordered cheese enchiladas and they were ok.

Way, way to expensive now. I can empathize with price increase due to macro economic factors but almost $10 for two glass bottle cokes? My dad and I used to come here every Saturday for breakfast. Food is still great, service is still ok, but I can’t justify continuing to patronize this place. If you decide to visit I recommend the Carnitas plate. If you’re into tacos I would pick the chorizo over the Al pastor. You can never go wrong with Chilaquiles if you make it in for breakfast.

I love Huichos food so much, literally my go to place whenever i want tacos. Unfortunately they have such poor customer service, literally always “forget” to add lemons and other things after specifically asking, and this has happened on endless occasions. On top of being pretty stingy with condiments and sauces. Hope to see an improvement otherwise I’ll unfortunately be forced to just give my business else where.

I just want to say I do love Huichos, I’ve been coming here for years. But the past couple times I’ve ordered have been not up to par with the Huichos I know. Especially with how much they have raised prices. I know that with inflation that may be necessary but it’s hard to justify with the quality of food has degraded a bit as well. I’ll keep coming back because I want to support them as a small business but it’s definitely not a go-to anymore.

My favorite menudo but the Prices are pretty high now for the amount of food you get. Used to go all the time and be stuffed. Went last week and left hungry paying double the usual bill.

After this place showed up in the Inland Empire Magazine best taco list I decided to give it a try and was disappointed. Tacos are okay, the carne asada tasted like if it was frozen meat and had lots of fat on it. The chicharon tacos were okay. Wont come to this place again unless im desperate for okay Tacos.

Overall good quality food. The price and ratio of food was off. I spent $4.49 for a side of rice that was 4 scoops of rice on a fork. Very small portions. Tacos were amazing! Other than the very small portions, it’s 5 stars!

Huicho's typically has tatsy tacos and authentic food. My last two visits were inconsistent: I ordered a shrimp taco and it was so good I went back there the next day to order another. On the second visit, whoever prepared the taco basically threw two tortillas and shrimp giblets together into a takeout box. For shame and a letdown when you pay $5 per seafood taco.

Food tasted good. I really like the owner. Just wish my burrito had more meat. Got an Al Pastor burrito and it was mostly rice. I would expect more meat for a $9.99 takeout burrito.

Restaurant was really clean, but the service was not great. The woman taking our order had her earbuds in and was playing on her phone, acted like we were inconveniencing her by ordering. Chips were stale and unsalted. We paid $40 for 4 tacos and 3 taquitos, with only water to drink. The tacos were TINY and the taquitos were basically Jose ole frozen taquitos. Really disappointing for the price.

Paid $15 for a burrito w/ side of guacamole. Burrito was small and skinny but mediocre in taste. The cooks should've definitely added more meat to the chicken burrito I ordered. Plus, the restaurant only had ketchup and Tapatio as free salsa. Also, no free chips for your dining in order. This place blows. For a $12 burrito you could get more bang for your buck at Juanito's tacos in Highland, Jose's Mexican food or a Castañeda's.

Good customer service the cashier was very helpful and patient. since it was my first time here, and I must admit I took forever to order. However the food was definitely not what I expected. my burrito was soggy and eventually fell apart. My agua fresca was way to sweet. They have very high rating, but I definitely don't recommend this place.

Food was just average but tasted fresh. Ordered crunchy shredded beef tacos and potato tacos. Pricey for just an average taco; $4 or slightly more, can't remember exactly. Service was quick and friendly. Would we go back? Probably not. We can get cheaper food that tastes the same or better at other places.

My wife and I have ordered from here several times. We always order street tacos because there are few places where it's decent in Redlands. We notice they are skimpy but taste good. Today we got some really skimpy street tacos. Just disappointed.

i was just visitor in Redlands, so I open google review and found out this restaurant ranked top 3 for the area, but after visits, my opinion its better I go for In & Out Burger. the same price you can get twice as much from In & Out Burger

The al pastor is mushy and old and the carne asada is dry and not good. Street tacos were a little bigger than silver dollars for 3 bucks each. save your money

The food is tasty but the place is really not that impressive and not sure if I would come back. Went with a friend and we both had stomach aches after from the food right immediately after. Concerned about the cleanliness of this place. If you would like to use the restroom, don't bother using it here because it's shady located outside and not clean.

Shouldve trusted the bad reviews. I got birria tacos with consome. Tacos were okay but not crispy as quesabirria should be! Then consome tasted bland and watered down! I paid 16 dollars for 2 subpar tacos and bland water “consome” …also added tips (total 18 dollars) ! So not cheap at all for such dissapointing food

Did not have a pleasant experience here. I ordered 2 adult combination meals for $40. The beans were or tasted like canned. Not only did the place look like a dump but the gal or owner was extremely stingy with the salsa. We like our food hot so she gave 2 very small cuppies of salsa and when I asked for additional she stated we charge for extra. I said I’m sorry I just spent $40 you can afford to give me some additional salsa. 2 thin paper napkins as well. Will never eat there again. Food was worse than Alberto’s.

I use to love this place. We order enchiladas. The cook was mad about something. Long story short. Soon as i ate the food it was about 5 minutes later i was in the restroom. I wasn't the only one we were both sick. Since the Pandemic food quality has really went down. No more eating out. Doctors are saying they are seeing more bacteria infections in the stomach from people eating out.

40$ for a bowl of soup and a burrito? The staff I interacted with were friendly and soup was fine but the burrito was sad. I just can't understand why it's so expensive! The burrito was so bad that I gave it to my dog and just made ramen for dinner. Sad to say but I'm going to have to strike this place off my list of good restaurants. Everything is expensive these days but 40$ for a bowl of soup and a burrito that tasted like it was microwaveed felt like a daylight mugging.

Small portioned and my kids bean and cheese burritos were not well wrapped and fell apart as the beans were runny and it was a gloppy mess w/ cheese. This is the worst Mexican restaurant to go to in Redlands, California. Me and my sister and my nephew were starving and we wanted to stop to try a new Mexican restaurant. We decided to come to this restaurant. I asked to use the bathroom I had to wait, which is OK but then when I went into the bathroom, they did not have anything to dry my hands with, when I went inside to ask for a napkin, a guy who looked like his hands were never washed, handed me a paper towel over the counter, and it was already contaminated because his hands were filthy. I went home and I opened it and instead of providing Beria tacos as ordered, I got four street tacos. I was charged additional cost after calling back up and talking to the server Luis, He told me that he did nothing wrong and that I can bring the food back to the restaurant to be charged more for the correct order when I was charged and given the wrong order. As I’m speaking with him, he is challenging me and arguing with me. I am not me over the phone and said it’s not my fault. It’s the back’s fault. He took no accountability and was arguing with me like a child. I would not recommend anyone to go to this high cost food chain that is so disgusting and disrespectful to their customers. A professional place would’ve said please come back up and We will fix the order. We apologize that you went all the way back home and had to come back. We will take care of you. No problem instead he’s gonna charge me additional money for each taco that was wrong and on top of that very unapologetic and unprofessional I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants Mexican food. I would recommend you to go to Cuca‘s in Redland’s office State Street. I am a food critic and this is the worst food chain. I absolutely had in Redlands.
