Sacks is a local institution and everyone loves this spot. They have amazing breakfast burritos, wraps, killer sammies, smoothies, coffee and pretty much everything you could ever need for breakfast, lunch, or a healthy refresher to take to the beach or on a walk. And the people here are super nice, the cook always smiles and is really friendly.. the store just has a great vibe. They have patio seating with an ocean view where locals love to chill and snack. Even their side dishes are home made and delicious.. the quinoa salad is a nice healthy option and oh so good. They also have plenty of salads and vegetarian choices on the menu. The best part here is the prices.. they seem to have missed all the inflation and constant increases because their prices remain super reasonable. Whatever you order here it is always made fresh to order and comes out piping hot, cheese perfectly melted, looking and tasting fantastic. The location is right on the corner of Ave I and Catalina NW corner. Ideal spot to grab some lunch to take to the beach.
Amazingly fresh pastries, good food, great service. And a lunch special under 10 bucks!!! Perfect patio for dining. A must stop on your walk down to Avenue I beach!
YUMMM! I have been on the hunt for delicious breakfast spots in the South Bay and I’m glad to say I’ll be returning! There was surprisingly no wait time during my visit (weekend brunch time) - I walked right up to the counter and was greeted by friendly staff who helped place my order right away. We grabbed a seat in the shade and waited approx. 5-7 mins before being served. Then we got to indulge in these savory breakfast wraps (see photo). There are 1 or 2 tables outside where you can catch a glimpse of the ocean if you care about that. I have to say I’m impressed and can see why it’s a local favorite! Side note: If you care about spice level, the Verde sauce that came on the side seemed relatively mild.
OMG. This is THE coziest….and tastiest….and friendliest place in the whole South Bay. If you want a chill bite to eat near the water this is your spot. Also stop blowing big bucks on fancy, chain store coffee. Their Americanos are robust yet understated…just delightful.
First timer here leaving an honest review! I went with the mexi sandi, it was really good. It definitely kept me full as i am 6 ft tall 200 lbs it hit the spot. If u ever pass by dont forget to try some tortilla soup it was delicious!
This is a delightful place to grab a delicious healthy breakfast or lunch. Consistently good, tasty food. Nothing too fancy or chichi. I started coming here when a Redondo Beach local friend suggested the place, and now it's my go to place for lunch when I'm in the area
I would call this place a hidden gem in the city of Redondo Beach. They have both breakfast and lunch all day, which is awesome. They even have gluten free and vegan options available too! From coffees to smoothies to juices, Sacks has a lot to offer. Tried their Jerry Scramble breakfast and customized it a bit. The quality and flavor did not disappoint at all. It can get fairly busy on weekends, but the friendly customer service makes it worth the wait. Highly recommend trying this place out. You won’t be disappointed.
One of my favorite places for breakfast or lunch in the Riviera. Wonderful beach views outside, great food, and excellent service. The Mediterranean Omelet and Quinoa Salad have been favorites of mine for years.
Had the roast beef sandwich, Butternut Squash Soup and Fresh baked pumpkin bread. Delicious. Was worth the stop.

A great little cafe. I have been enjoying coming here for years. The owners and staff are so friendly and I see they work hard to keep the quality high. A good spot to know about.
My husband and I are visiting for a few days from Atlanta and had breakfast here. He got the Go Pro and I got the Breakfast in France. The food and coffee was great and we got to enjoy our food looking out at the ocean! Great spot!

the avocado toast was yummy but could've used a little bit more avocado for a better taste, the ingredients ratio was off. i had a tropical smoothie too which was tasty with no added sugar.

Nice little restaurant with nice atmosphere with a nice beach view...a couple of blocks away. They have plenty of nice outdoor patio seating as well as inside seating. The menu has lots of options. The staff is friendly. I found the food to be bland. Portions are a bit small fit the price.
The service was ok. The food and coffee was ok. The building and setting was pretty old. The best part about this place is you can see the ocean as you drink your coffee. Seems like a good spot to grab a to go snack on your way to the beach
Ordered Breakfast at Tiffany's $9.25 With egg whites, turkey, sun-dried tomatoes, and avocado. The breakfast included fresh fruit. It was not what I expected. Small portion, sliced turkey meat, and not sun-dried tomatoes...which left the omelette a little bland. We waited a really long time. As a thank you, our server brought me a wrapped chocolate chip cookie for the delay/inconvenience.

The only thing I enjoyed here was the service. They were very nice and informative about the ingredients. I ordered a soy chorizo wrap with egg whites. I don’t remember what it’s called, but the food presentation was not appealing at all. It was wrapped in paper, and because it was extremely oily, the paper stuck to the wrap. It was very difficult to get the paper off so I could eat it. The food was very bland, even when dousing it with the green salsa it didn’t make much difference. I also ordered a lavender latte. They make their lavender syrup in-house, but they make it with Stevia. I’m not sure why they don’t use raw cane sugar when they have it on the tables. Much like the food, the lack in taste is what was disappointing.
$15 for a large coffee and Bigfoot Breakfast burrito is better spent elsewhere. The burrito was very basic and lacked any sort of flavor. Neither the bacon or potatoes were crispy. That also made the burrito very mushy and lacking of any texture. The coffee was watery. The staff was not friendly and was on their phone the entire time. I made the mistake of not asking for my order to go. When it finally was ready after a long wait, I asked for a to-go and was ready to fix the mistake myself. It was a simple task of transferring the burrito and dumping the fruit in a box. I received side eye and attitude. The atmosphere is great. Cool art. Great location. Just an overall "meh" experience. Will only come here if it's the only option.
Ordered here on my mother’s recommendation. Got a sausage, egg and cheese bagel for myself and new yorker for my mother. Our bagels were practically burnt and my sandwich was so dry (bagel, sausage & egg), it was hard to eat. I will not be returning.

Basic food: we had tow omelette options (one with pan cakes). The lady cooking and serving was very rude. It’s our first time in LA and this was the worst experience (or even the only) about the place so far. Also she gave the kid green tea instead of black and sausages instead of bacon likely because of talking too much on the phone.
These people are incredibly disappointing. I rarely leave bad reviews but this was really kind of over-the-top. I don't know if they were upset because it was a half hour until closing or what, but seemed like they were bothered that they got customers. They also seemed bothered that we wanted a couple customizations to the order, and then they punished us by getting the order wrong. I've never seen somebody give us a sandwich with TWO BOTTOM pieces of bread and then another sandwich with TWO TOP pieces of bread. It's super insulting and disappointing. I live right nearby, so their loss, I guess.. I think the staff should be severely punished and/or replaced. They are way too comfortable and willing to be snotty and punish customers for showing up to spend money. I will not return. Edit: So I opened my "chicken club" sandwich and there's almost no chicken in there. This is basically bread, cheese, and lettuce. It's supposed to be a chicken club. I've attached another photo. What a turn-off experience all around.
