Me gustó mucho el burrito de cochinita. La salsa que no pica es muy rica y le da el toque a los burritos. Sí están llenadores porque son de 30 cm y el precio es de $90 La atención de Humberto es muy amable con todos los visitantes

Probamos el burrito de huitlacoche y ¡tuvimos que comer otro porque estaba delicioso! También nos dio mole y estaba riquísimo. Definitivamente es un lugar al que regresaría a comer unos burritos mexicanos. El dueño es muy amable y sus recomendaciones son excelentes, super recomendado al visitar SMH.

Llegamos buscando comida y encontramos un banquete de chicharrón ! Buenísimo este burrito , crujiente y la salsita que no me atrevía a ponerle (despues me convenció el dueño) y woooow ! Llegué por las buenas reseñas y me encantó! Primero el precio se me hizo elevado pero después de probarlo entendí el porqué. El dueño en cada burrito se toma el tiempo para que quede de 10/10 y son de muy buen tamaño y el sabor también 10/10! Gracias! Tambn a mi bebé le regaló un poco de fruta, volveré :)

Fui buscando algo vegetariano, y encontré un montón de opciones! Pedí el burrito de elote, ejote y calabaza, y fue increíble. Además, recibí atención y servicio muy amigable y eficiente de Umberto! 100% recomendable.

Lo encontramos por suerte. El de chicharrón estuvo delicioso, pero la salsa le dió un toque especial. Excelente atención y buena onda 😎. Sin duda recomendamos hacer la parada.

Excelente servicio por parte de Humberto! Traje a unos colegas alemanes a visitar SMA y decidí venir a este lugar por sus calificaciones en google maps. La realidad es que no solo hizo honor a las mismas, sino que superó con creces mis expectativas! El lugar es pequeño pero no dejen que eso los desaliente. La comida está INCREÍBLE. Mis amigos se fueron encantados con sus burritos vegetarianos! Yo pedí uno de mole y otro de Cochinita Pibil y estuvieron increíbles! Sin duda alguna volveré!

Los burritos son deliciosos, nutritivos, con buenos ingredientes y típicamente mexicanos. Lo mejor de todo es la atención: Humberto es amable, gentil y oriundo de San Miguel. A nosotros nos explicó sobre la cultura local, nos recomendó lugares y nos dio excelentes consejos para disfrutar la estadía. Para mí, es una parada imperdible en San Miguel.

Una experiencia increíble! Primero, la comida. Compartimos dos burritos (uno de chicharrón y otro de carne chile pasilla) con los que probamos también un poquito de salsa, no tan picante (mejor así) pero con sabor a Naranja. Muy rico!!! Además, Umberto tiene 4 tipos de tortillas! El dueño es muy simpático. Nos aconsejó un montón de cosas, qué hacer en el país y sobre todo en la zona de San Miguel de Allende y Oaxaca. Le encanta hablar de su país y de la comida típica. Nos hizo probar unas cositas como chocolate de Oaxaca, un trago de mezcal con lima y sal de gusano (del insecto que vive en el maguey). Muchísimas gracias por compartir todo eso con nosotros! Muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Deliciosos burritos 😋 Somos de la ciudad originaria de los burritos 🌯 y esto fue una experiencia completamente diferente que valió la pena!! La tortilla súper delgada y crujiente, aparte te recomiendan el tipo de tortilla (con nopal, chile negro, chipotle, etc.) según el guisado que elijas, estaban deliciosos! Pedimos para llevar y pagamos en efectivo.

Hidden gem! Food was so incredible, we went 2x in three days! Do yourself a favor and get the cochinita pibil! But don’t pass on the mole. Just get both! Tiny restaurant with only a few seats at the bar, but it’s right next to a little park. Owner is really friendly and an amazing cook. I miss not being able to go here.

Stopped in for a snack after the lunch hour. The owner's service was highly attentive. We felt like family. Following his recommendation, we tried the Cochinita Pibil and the Horchata. Both were outstanding. The Pibil was tender and perfectly seasoned. Even my picky youngest daughter loved both items. We look forward to returning for the Chile Relleno and Mole. Excellent quality and authentic. Highly recommended.

Skip the overpriced touristy spots in el Centro and come straight to Mama Mela! 100 pesos for a delicious burrito with high-quality ingredients—The Conchinita Pibil and Chile Relleno burritos were the two best bites we ate in SMA. On top of being delicious, the owner Humberto is great, super welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

Me and a friend hat 2 vegan burritos today, one with champigñones and one with ejote, elote and calabaza. Both were super delicious! And the price is more than fair - 100 pesos each. The owner is very friendly, we had a great conversation with him. He even took his time to speak spanisch with us even though our spanisch is not the best. All together 10/10 - would definitely recommend.

Best burrito I’ve ever had. Simple: a chipotle tortilla with a filling of your choice, grilled and a little crispy on the outside. Vegetarian and meat options both. 5 stools located right in the entryway. However, the storefront faces a little park. The proprietor, Umberto, is very kind. He came to us sitting in the park to ask how we liked his food. 🙂

Wow - the burritos at Mama Mela are like nothing I have ever eaten. The Cochinita Pibil and Mole Negro were incredible. So much flavor. Humberto is so kind and friendly, and clearly very proud of his cooking. I am not a native spanish speaker, but he was patient and chatted with me about his travels and mine, while he prepared our food. We went back two days later because the food was that delicious.

Simply put, these are magnificent burritos. The kind that will brighten your day and make you think of the world as a better place. That delicious. The location itself is cut but small. Only enough seats for four. But you can probably sit in the little square just outside the restaurant if you’d like, or if there are no stills left. Humberto is very friendly, and will have your burrito cooked and plated in minutes. Fast and satisfying.

It's a hole in the wall place, but packs so much flavor. The owner was super nice and speaks well enough English to help us understand the menu. We got 2 burritos and they were delicious. Unlike burritos in US, the ones we had did not have rice (which is a good thing for us) and mostly meat, veggies, and flavors.

These are gourmet burritos served with love from a tiny spot in Centro. We tried the cochinita pibil, a vegetarian one , and beef. All were excellent. And prices are so reasonable too.

What a fun experience at a local and unique burrito shop. It's very small and quaint, and the owner provides such a personal approach to making each burrito! Great local gem!
