My mother's drink had curdled coconut milk in it and we had to go back and get a new one which was kind of an inconvenience but they were very nice and gave us a new one and a gift card to get another drink which was awesome so I'm still giving them 5 stars

This place is alway.... ALWAYS busy. Tip would be to park and go inside! There is always a line of cars but the inside tends to be quiet. Staff is always moving and very kind. Busy location.

Always a great place to stop for our java fix. Fast friendly staff. Easy off from highway avoiding Thruway stops. Not a frufru coffee drinker. Dark roast black is the way I love my coffee, maybe over ice in summer.

The new inside remodel is very nice, though no comfy chairs any longer for the patrons who like to sit there and read a book or mobile device. The baristas are friendly and know how to make a great coffee drink. I'm back to the store time and time again. Shout out to Kelsey and Chelsea-Ann.

I LOVE Starbucks. The racial controversy is breaking my heart and, unfortunately this is not an isolated incident. But one tends to frequent the same Starbucks time after time and I can't imagine "my" kids behaving this way. Please, guys, get it together, hu? Peace and love?

Probably the best Starbucks in the area. They staff is always very friendly and helpful, and the drinks seem to be better compared to the drinks made by others (i.e. Crossgates, Hoosick, etc.). My mom comes here with her dog all the time, and the staff are always so sweet when she comes around. They even made my mom's dog her own "Puppaccino" and hand-fed it to her. Very cute experience! Overall a great group down there and I'll continue to frequent the location often!

Almost all the staff here and very friendly, warm and positive. Been here a few times and staff have not been friendly, but one person's bad day should detract from the fact that there's consistently great service provided by the staff here. Happy to wait in line while they're swamped because of it.

The drive through here always seems busy, so much so that cars have to wait on the road just to get into the parking lot. That being said, the staff do a very good job of keeping the line moving. They get the orders done quickly and accurately whether you're in your car or in the store.

The team here is great. The store is generally clean. The music is absolutely atrocious and way to loud. There is one table away from the speaker but it's always used by crew for meetings, inventory, etc. Why??? At 9AM the music doesn't need to be cranked up to the point that I need to repeat my order to the barista for them to hear me.

I go to Starbucks all the time, but never left a review for any location. I’m leaving this review for the woman who definitely was the backbone of the team! Everyone was busy and working, but this lady was moving extremely quick to get those drinks done! I wish I would have gotten her name to give her the credit she deserves.

This Starbucks gets a little crowded since it is the only one in the area and is very close to HVCC however the staff are very helpful and friendly and in my opinion they have the strongest coffee around.

Pretty good. Sometimes drinks are hit or miss. Parking lot is small so if you drive a big vehicle, the best you can hope for is open spaces near the drive thru. You could park at Dunkin next door. :)

I wish it was bigger and had a larger parking lot but that was not part of the business plan. Really it was designed for the drive thru. I tried relaxing at the Dunkin Donuts but that didn't cut it.

I love this Starbucks but recently they hired a new girl, she’s awfully rude and clearly not meant for customer service. I hate my customer service job too but I still put on a smile. I order the same thing every time I’m there and when she’s working my drink always comes out with no lemonade in it even though I make it more than clear I want it. I can always tell it’s her as soon as I pull up to the speaker because of her attitude. She has long thin braids, she could definitely use a lesson on how to be kind, especially when she’s getting paid to do so.

The staff at this Starbucks are always very friendly and jovial in the morning when I come to get my morning Starbucks. The only downside is a nationwide shortage of a lot of the syrups and supplies and therefore they can’t always make the drinks that we want.

As soon as I walked in, all of the staff was busy, so I wasn't acknowledged right away. I noticed that this happens often at Starbucks. I still think that an acknowledgment is needed to ensure that someone knows that you are there. However, the associate who took care of me was great. The tables were a bit dirty. The music was fun to listen to, but it was a bit too high. If I were there with someone to talk to, I would not last long because of the music being too loud. Overall, this Starbucks is great.

Usually a pretty good place to go. Went the other day and they were closed. Friday at 2pm and there was 3 employees sitting outside. They said they had to close early because of staffing issues. Yet there was 3 of them sitting there and I've gone when there's been only 1 person working. 🤔

I have been coming here for many years and recently found that the drive-thru is very slow. I started coming inside but no dice there either plus no one is really engaging anyone in the store, just each other. Not the old Starbucks vibe at all. But today was the first time that I have actually had a bad coffee. Hope things turn around soon!

Its a nice place. I don't buy my coffee here regularly. The prices for coffee is a little on the high side for my money. But, I occasionally I will stop by and am always happy I did.. I really enjoy there Blonde Roast. Staff is really good and friendly. Enjoy going there and going inside when I can.

After a long night with a baby in a hotel, I was really looking forward to a venti Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. I DoorDashed one and noticed about an inch of coffee missing from the top of the cup, which made it seem like it wasn’t actually a full venti despite paying for one. The flavor was great, so I’m still giving three stars, but it was disappointing not to receive the full size I was expecting, and definitely needed.

I usually don’t post reviews, however the atmosphere was not the best in this establishment. May be a one time thing but work ethic is a big part of who I am and my experience was not pleasing. My infant child was having a small crying fit so i go where I normally can feel welcome, a local Starbucks. He cried for about a minute while i prepared a bottle, settled down quickly and on the 2nd bottle i accidentally spilled some formula. I went to the front and just asked if I could borrow a broom and I offered to clean it up myself. when I asked the employee If I could borrow the broom his Demeanor was as if I just interrupted him. I said thank you multiple times with no acknowledgment in the 1 minute it took him to mop directly over the formula instead of sweep and mop. I was going to place a larger order following but decided to head elsewhere. Like I said, I usually don’t post reviews but was less than pleased on the attitude that was radiating from this individual and the overall moral of the staff seemed off.

Everything in here are good except one thing which the stuff are not welcoming and friendly. One day, I had in my Carmel micauto a huge ice cube which it it didn't let me inserting the straw, si, I asked for replacement he brought another cup and poor it in it!!?

Slowest Starbucks in the area. Takes much too long to get a drink either in the drive thru or if you order inside. Staff seems more concerned with their social life than serving customers. Best avoided if you are in a hurry.

The drive thru is always a long wait and often this location has issues with their card reader or cash register, and often are out of ingredients. Like 50% of the time I feel like I wait in a long line to be told they’re out of what I wanted.

I went here this morning and unfortunately had a very negative experience. When I pulled on the door handle it was locked, and the barista basically glared at me from behind the counter. I checked the hours posted in the window and saw that I had arrived 10 minutes before they opened (BTW, I do NOT expect anyone to open early for me in this situation). Once the store opened and I went inside, I was immediately struck by the freezing temperature, and I was soon shivering despite wearing a thick sweater. I ordered coffee and an apple cider donut, and the barista's mood had not improved. I know that smiling is not mandatory, but it sure makes a customer feel better about the ordering experience. Thankfully that process was quick and easy, and I was soon at a table. The coffee was hot and delicious, and after a few sips I took a bite of the cider donut. It was terrible. I'm usually easy to please when it comes to sweets, donuts in particular, but this one was hard and stale, tasting like it had sat on a shelf for a week. I managed four bites, and the rest went into the trash. I hope that my negative experience was an anomaly - maybe this place is better most of the time. But I don't have any desire to go back and see. There's a Dunkin across the road, I'll go there next time.

Stopped this morning for a venti black tea lemonade and a blueberry scone, venti was clearly and distinctly stated. As i pulled up to the window, i observed the person at the window scoop my bagged food off the floor where it had been dropped, and then handed to me. I was also handed a grande, not a venti, and when i refused it, this triggered a discussion among the staff. Eventually, i observed the barista dump the grande into a venti cup, add some lemonade and ice and then handed it to the window person saying "heres the venti she DIDNT order". If i wanted passive-aggressive behavior with my food, i can get that elsewhere thanks. Very disappointing. The drink itself was pretty bad, mostly lemonade w a splash of tea.

We got here around 7:35 PM when the store was shipped to close at 8. The doors were locked and the associates were ignoring the drive thru. Turns out after waiting in the drive thru for 10 minutes the associates had shut down the store and turned the lights off. This was horrible customer service and totally unprofessional. I know we were not the only people that experienced this last night.

I saw 4 different employees while going through the drive-thru and every single one had their mask pulled down under their nose. There’s no point in wearing a mask if you aren’t doing so properly. Especially with in-person dining starting up again, masks need to be worn effectively 100% of the time. I was very disappointed to see this.

How do you mess up a drink that you already messed up on? I ordered my drink and it was wrong explained what happened they said come back. Came back and guess what!? It was still wrong lmbo. And they're always rude in here the blonde chick and others. I visit Starbucks 2x a day and get a venti latte each time so ya'll definitely getting my money. I wouldn't waste my time coming here anymore.

No brewed coffee available at 8:30pm asked why, and told that they are closing, asked what time do you close they said 10pm Saturday. They start closing down at 3pm they claim. 👎 Thank goodness theirs a DD across the way still brewing.

Waited 40 minutes for a peppermint mocha frappuccino, people behind me were getting their drinks first. The employee doing hot drinks asked me what I was waiting for, I informed her. The employee who was doing fraps appologized and said things got messed up. I still waited about 10 minutes after that.Finally got it with some lame excuse my cup fell on the floor.

Avoid coming to this Starbucks between 8 and 9 AM due to gridlock due to the drive through line backing up onto the street. I have contacted Starbucks about the problem but it has not been rectified. Be prepared for traffic jam frustration if you come here.

Hey our is store is closed but drive thru is open! Wait, our drive thru is closing an hour early! Hold on, I mean 2 hours early! Eh, 3 hours early. What we really meant was drive thru is only staying open till 130pm. Sorry we meant 1pm. Hell with it...we’re just closing all together! We’re also not going to make any1 aware of these changes. You can find out when you drive up with one of our delicious drinks on your mind. Btw, we’re going to leave our old hours on our site to confuse the hell out of everyone :)

I arrived at the Starbucks store at eight PM, apparently just as they were closing. Parked right in front of the door, walked to the door. Employee came over, looked me in the eye, and locked the door in my face. Rudest thing I’ve ever seen. Could’ve let me in and then locked the door. Could’ve apologized or said something, anything. Unbelievable. I’ll never go back.

WORST starbucks in the area.. They are constantly messing up my order. Everytime I ask for extra whip, never get any whip. Extra caramel, NO caramel drizzle in the cup ANYWHERE. I sit there waiting to talk to someone about it and they just ignore me. It charges me extra for the caramel drizzle so it's very frustrating to pay extra for something I'm not getting. The drinks are also never consistent tastes different every single time.Never coming here again.. Hire people who actually know how to make coffee and get the order right.

I NEVER give anyone 1 star. This place is getting one star. Service is trash. They don't even say a word when your order is ready when you're sitting there waiting for 15 minutes for 2 drinks. This is the only Starbucks where I've seen the staff look stupid and no idea how to do their job. Playing on their phones. Any other star bucks I've been to has been amazing. Let me know my drinks were ready too. Here they made me feel totally forgotten. Anyone could have taken my drinks as they were sitting on the counter, hidden from where I was sitting. I shouldn't have to sit for 15 minutes not knowing anything. Just shout the order out when it's done if needed. The one in target is better

I’m so sad to be making this review but after a change in employees, this has become one of my least favorite Starbucks. There’s only one girl there who is friendly and everyone else is incredibly rude. I waited for 10 minutes at the window and when I asked Matt if I could just be refunded he was very rude and instructed me to just call corporate. And believe me, I was on the phone with them before I even left the parking lot. Hey Matt, maybe the service industry isn’t your calling.

I was just at the Starbucks, I go here often, and my drinks either take a really long time or are messed up. I went to the Starbucks today and send my fiancé in to pick up my two drinks,. The woman at the counter, stated that there was only one drink in the order and didn’t believe my fiancé when he said that there were two drinks - even though on the cup the sticker said “1 of 2 drinks.” My fiancé then came out to grab my phone so he could show the lady that there were in fact, two drinks in the order. When she saw the drink that I had ordered (lavender oatmilk latte with 1 espresso) , she asked my fiancé. “Okay how do you make that to which she responded “Oh I have no idea.” I had ordered one espresso because I’m breast-feeding, and cannot have over a certain amount of caffeine a day. When the drink finally came out 20 minutes later, it tasted like dirt. It must have been either four+ espresso, or cold brew coffee? It tasted bitter and old. The lavender was not mixed into the drink at all, absolutely disgusting.

More Starbucks wallet suck vent, I know this is a first world problem, but !'ve Never been a fan of Starbucks coffee prefer DD. That being said I did get hooked on the banana nut bread twice a week even though I was paying almost $4 dollars for one piece. Go into EG yesterday and the price went up ANOTHER 25 cents. When I asked the cashier she said that includes 10cent charge for warming it up...ARE YOU KIDDING ME !! They continue the customer ripoff. This after their financial report included Our performance was bolstered by.......... our Reinvention Plan, and its unfolding into tangible financial results, as we delivered earnings growth of 19% well above our revenue growth of 12%,” commented Rachel Ruggeri, chief financial officer ! They can take their reinvention plan and.... anyone that enjoys this ripoff enjoy !! I'll buy a six pack of bread at Wal-Mart or a PC banana nut muffin ! Starbucks app deleted !

I placed an order for Mobile pick up yesterday in the afternoon. I always order from here on my way to work and never have any issues! The weekly morning crew is awesome. Unfortunately I cannot say the About the weekend crew. I have visited here multiple times on the weekends and have had terrible waiting times. Yesterday I picked up one mobile order for an Irish cream cold brew coffee and my receipt time is 1:23 PM and I didn’t receive my order until 1:40 PM. I had to ask for someone to check on my mobile order and then the barista started to prepare it. The store wasn’t even busy! It was by no means the fault of the Barista, she was brand new. Management should really look into why two staff member on drive through and from what I could see three staff members in the kitchen couldn’t help out this poor girl. Kudos to the lovely gentleman who was working with glass who helped her try to get caught up. I understand being busy, but at 1 in the afternoon with three tables of patrons already drinking their coffees and no line at the register, to wait 17 minutes for a mobile order that suggests the time take 4 minutes is disappointing.

Came on at 7:40pm on a Sunday. Hours on the Starbucks app said they were open until 8:00pm. They also had sign up that said hours were 8-8, went to order only to be told they closed at 6pm. I was also told there was a sign that said they were open to 6pm, but you couldn’t really see that sign. If they closed at 6pm, why was the register still on? Lazy staff, customer service doesn’t matter. It’s all about me generation employee working. If you were truly closed at 6pm, the register should have been closed out and off and I don’t see how it can take someone 1:45 minutes to clean up. Avoid at all costs!!!! Take the time to drive across the street to Dunkin.

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to by far. There is this drink with no ice that my daughter orders all the time. Every other Starbucks we've been to fills it to the top (or near it) with no issue. Every one. This Starbucks fills a venti drink 1/3 of the way including the cold foam layer that I paid extra for. When I brought it to their attention, I was told I'd have to pay extra..on top of the $6 I just paid...because the drink is 2/3 ice. So basically, this Starbucks is charging full price for drinks that are mostly ice. It makes no sense at all. The passive aggressive barrista was rude. If I'm paying for coffee that is overpriced to begin with, I expect what I paid for and nice people serving it to me. This Starbucks has gone downhill since COVID and needs to hire people who actually want to work.

So I called this morning just to see if there’s any indoor seating at this establishment yet, as things are just starting to open up with Covid waning. The staff member was extremely hostile and rude to me as she told me that there is no indoor seating and I still have to wear a mask tomorrow if I come there as it is New York State policy. I was polite and tried to nicely explain to her that I work for a corporation that has been following the guidelines very carefully and yesterday it was announced that New York State as a whole is not requiring indoor mask use for vaccinated people. She flat out argued with me in a very nasty manner and told me that the state policies have not changed (Starbucks has actually announced as a company that they are not requiring masks for vaccinated people in states that do not require them as of tomorrow. I cannot believe nobody here has even informed the employees of this major change?) She then throws me on the phone with her manager, who I didn’t even ask to speak to, and the manager didn’t know of this change either. I told her perhaps she should just look at recent news articles and Starbucks announcements. I wouldn’t have cared if they weren’t informed as that is not their fault, but the nastiness and hostility I received from the staff member was extremely over the top and needless. I wasn’t arguing whether I can or cannot wear a mask in her business I was trying to help. Well guess I won’t visit here 🤷🏼‍♀️

I get Starbucks everyday and even though this is my local Starbucks I avoid it because without fail my drink comes out wrong 100% of the time. So inconsistent. It's sad because the staff is pleasant I feel like they try but the turn over rate is so high it's takes a while to perfect those drinks.

I’ve been a regular at Starbucks for years, and I’ve never been more disappointed than I was when I entered this store. My visit started off fine, but then I encountered Juana, a barista working behind the counter. To say the least, she completely ruined the atmosphere and my overall experience. As I was grabbing my drinks, I started hearing loud yelling from behind the counter. I looked up to see Juana having what can only be described as a full-on tantrum in front of customers and coworkers alike. She was yelling about how customers take too long to order and actually called them “mother truckers” — clearly a substitute for something more inappropriate. It was shocking and completely uncalled for in a public space where people are just trying to get their coffee. I can’t stress enough how uncomfortable and awkward it felt to be standing there. This isn’t the kind of energy I expect when I visit Starbucks. I’ve had bad service before, but this was on another level. The behavior was not only unprofessional but disrespectful to customers trying to go about their day. I’ve never seen a barista act so unhinged in a work setting, and it made me question whether I want to return to this location. I’m all for understanding that people have bad days, but there’s a line. It was embarrassing, disruptive, and honestly, I hope Starbucks addresses this issue to ensure it doesn’t happen again. If I wanted to experience a hostile work environment, I’d look elsewhere. A coffee shop should be a place of comfort, not a source of stress.

GO TO UNCOMMON GROUNDS. They're right across the street in the Home Depot plaza. This place is filthy and full of screaming employees. The good news is Starbucks plans on closing 900 stores... maybe that will scare the employees into actually working. And why aren't they using a REAL photo of inside the store?

Am I wrong or is Starbucks wrong? I was at the Rensselaer location today on Route 4 and saw this sign. As some one who directly works with those most in need, we have individuals here in the Capital Region who struggle just to eat on a nightly basis and what does Starbucks do? Ship the leftover food at night to New York City - over 150 miles away! I plan to post this in a couple of different places on Social Media and will not be patronizing Starbucks until this policy changes and they actually help those right here in their neighborhood instead of those 150 miles away! If you agree with me, please share this post and let Starbucks know that this isn't right and they should support Food Pantries here in the Capital District! (Please note the Baristas are great and probably agree with this!)

I’m honestly never one to leave a review because I never wanna sound like a Karen and have also worked service industry jobs and understand how tolling they can be but I just had such a ridiculous experience in the drive thru this morning. Me and my partner had placed a mobile order that hadn’t loaded and so it just had gone thru when we got to the speaker. When we got to the window the worker stuck their head out and essentially told my partner off claiming that “she does this everyday” and “my baristas are complaining”. It was incredibly rude and totally uncalled for. My partner had also already apologized profusely (though she really didn’t need to) and the worker continued to essentially tell her off. I think there could have been a respectful way to say it but ALSO complaining about receiving orders at your job where your assigned task is to receive and make orders is absurd. Genuinely such an off putting experience.

I will be honest. The sandwich I ordered, didn’t have half the ingredients as advertised - half the sandwich was just bread by itself. The other half, barely had any ingredients it should’ve had as advertised. Second, I asked for extra cold foam in my cherry chai and paid for that - they did not give me extra cold foam. Third, I asked them to warm up my banana nut loaf bread, they offered to warm it up, it was not warmed up at all. And Starbucks wonders why their revenue loss is at its highest in the US and abroad in 2025, they are skimping on ingredients, their staff cannot properly make orders for customers, do not pay attention to how orders are written so that customers get the items and drinks the way they paid to have them made, they get rid of good drinks and bakery items that actually sell, and keep ones that realistically don’t, etc. I won’t come back to this Starbucks, they cannot make drinks the way customers order them and pay for them to be made, they clearly intentionally do not warm food up when requested and even when they offer it, and they cannot handle a busy drive through, walking, and online orders at the same time.

I went to Starbucks to just have some thing to drink and just do some work on my computer out of the house and the music was so loud. I couldn’t hear myself think so. I just asked kindly if they could turn it down and they were employees were saying no to each other. So I just asked again if they were going turn it down and I was not rude at all, and they said they were going to. They had to go to the back in back which was a total lie they have it on their Bluetooth phone and they just chose not to turn it down. It was very loud. I don’t think it’s much to ask. I was not the only one.

i never order here anymore because they continuously make my order incorrectly. last time i ordered here i got an iced drink and it was warm with no ice. at least this time it had a few ice cubes (i got light ice this time) but they put whip when i asked for none. will definitely be walking into the target starbucks rather than coming to this one again.

Changed since Covid. Upon the Covid lifting, they are out of ingredients. Ok. But I order from the app in the last month, pull up and the Venti iced drink is filled to the top with ice. 5-7 sips. Over an hour later, ice still fills 3/4 of my cup as it sat in my car on a 90 degree day. Pix after the hour enclosed. ****Update***** I pulled in and verbally ordered. I asked for the shaken oat milk iced espresso, venti. I then asked for light on ice. I was told my cup would then be 2/3 full. I tried to diplomatically debate this with order taker, she insisted that I pay $1 extra for my cup to be FULL! I have the receipt. The drink tasted horrible!! No consistency at all to what it is supposed to taste like. Very rude!!! I order regularly from Newton plaza, Latham, never had an issue with “light ice.” There needs to be a management overhaul here In the route 4 East Greenbush location. I do intend to call the Customer Service of Starbucks and file a complete complaint, quoting my receipt. *** Avoid this location at all costs******
