I love this Thai place. I get the red chicken curry. Beef pad se u and cream cheese, Rangoon’s. Also their Thai iced tea is delicious. I have been coming here for 4 years
My go to thai place every Saturday night. Best quality to price to portion size ratio in Los Angeles I have found. Consistently super tasty and properly cooked food.
Great food! Loved the crunchy orange chicken and pad thai chicken also good portions. Got delivery and food came fast and they closed each food box with an extra bag for security purposes I guess 🤷🏽♀️, extra points for that 😊.
Customer service; awesome. Food; amazing, staff; super friendly. The best part is that they made me a plate without being in the menu. I wanted cashew nut, with chicken, pineapples and spicy peppers, it was made for me and it was amazing.
Crab wontons were excellent with real crab!! Chicken Satay was amazing !!!
We love everything at the restaurant! The employees are so nice even though they are busy, the food is delicious and the portions size very razonable, highly recommended!!!
Best Pad Thai in town. 10/10 would recommend to friends
We love to go once a week! Delicious food! The service is very good!
I come here every day to eat, I live all their food here have tried plenty of then and will always come back. love their veggie egg rolls and veggie sup, hits the spit evey time ..
Everyone that works here have always been very sweet and attentive. The restaurant is always clean, they have plenty of parking in the back.
I had the Panang Curry and was impressed. It was fresh, steaming hot, and the chicken was quality; lean white meat, which is what I prefer. I didn’t have to spit anything out, lol, as with other restaurants who use cheap ingredients or don’t take the time to cut out the bad parts. The rice was fluffy and fresh, and even the water tasted good, like it was filtered. Regarding the service, I felt welcomed and could tell they really wanted me to be happy as their customer. One nice touch is that my waitress placed a spice tray on my table without me asking, which, in my experience at many other Thai restaurants, doesn’t normally happen. I look forward to coming again.
One of our favorite Thai places in thr valley. Food is great. The people who run the restaurant are so friendly. We order take out all the time here and have eaten in a couple times.
My go to Thai place! I have been ordering Take out from here recently. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very relaxed and calming. The Beef Spicy Noodle and Chicken Pad Thai are delicious! I have never had a rude server in the 2 years I have been dining at this restaurant. :)
Absolutely tasty and authentic Thai spot, Nex the server and cashier is so warm and friendly. Overall reasonably priced with good portions. Red Pineapple shrimp curry and Talay-fi are very good. Pineapple fried rice as well.
I loved the deep fried tofu and tomatoes with cucumbers along with a beautiful tour of the menu. This place offers delicious affordable food that’s made fresh my next goal when I go there is to have the pad Thai with chicken but make it as hot as humanly possible the spices are delicious the scenery is wonderful I love coming to this place just to sit down and look around.
Wow! We just got home and the food was so excellent I had to write a review. We regularly order Pad See Ew with fried tofu, and Pad Thai with tofu, and it is excellent every time. The pad Thai is a little more on the saucy side here, so if you like that type I highly recommend this one! Price to portion ratio is one of the best in the valley! My Bf is saying this is the best pad see ew he’s ever had right now, lol.
Got the spicy noodles, egg rolls & fried wontons with Jasmine tea. The place is cozy & small with over a dozen tables inside, parking in the back & on the street. The day was nice & food was hot , with yummy flavors. The spicy noodles were actually spicy & really good. Wontons were crunchy & fun to eat & so were the egg rolls. The cream cheese wontons were bomb. Hot , crunchy & flavorful.
Underrated Reseda Gem, Great food and Lovely staff. I personally loved the Chicken Satay here. Peanut sauce for the Satay really reminded me of home and I would recommend all to come try. Both Dine-In and Take out are great options here and portions are large enough to share with a family or a group. Picture attached is of the Satay but I already ate 3 or so (Oops)
We went here today, it's been several months. We arrived just before the mid-day closing. I had the Beef Panang and it was delicious! My GF had her favorite Basil Chicken. They are still on the top of our list for Thai food here on the valley. It was a 5, and our go to place. Our two soups last night were not good. It was liquid with three pieces of chicken, 1, Sezchuan chili pepper, small piece of green onion. I forgot the main thing, I guess because I dont like them. 15 mushroom caps in each soup. 2nd soup was identical as far as amounts went. All i could taste was fish sauce. I paid a convenience fee, even tho I picked it up and checked the box for no utensils. Kinda bums me out. New owners! We've been here twice now since new ownership. Portions are very good sized, full of flavor too. Server is very friendly. My Beef Panang was tasty, the Pad Kha Pao with chicken. They're was a nice amount of chicken, enough to take home for a second meal. I'd definitely tell my friends to come here, you should too!!
This is one of the best Thai places around. I came in for lunch (orange chicken, Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork, and Shrimp and Noodle soup). Total bill with tax and tip was $39. Service is great, and they check in on you often. Food is delicious. Much less sugar than other places on the orange chicken. I have a feeling they make their own sauce, because you can actually see orange slices in it. Also, it doesn't feel like a sugary, pre-packaged type thing. You can taste how fresh it is, and how real the orange tastes.
I have only ordered food to go but it's always so delicious! My favorite dish is the house special rice. It comes with this sausage that's a bit sweet, a fried egg, and fresh tomato and cucumber.
These old spots be having the best foods! 10/10 authentic Thai
We got #12 jaopaya jerky pork as an appetizer and #63 Rad Na (with beef) & #75 Jaopaya Amazing as entrees and it was delicious!! We cleaned our plates completely! We werent even that hungry but we ate every last bite it was sooo good! 10/10 we will be returning again (:
Great food but the wait time on taking our order was waaaay too long. We went around 10 10:30 wasn't that packed when we were there so i didn't understand why everyone after got their orders down and we didn't. Besides that the food is really delicious and if you ask you can also get the lunch special after the time.
Soooooooo good. Best thai food i ever had. 😋🙏🏾 Definitely coming back for more.

This place has a great and quiet atmosphere with an attentive and kind staff. The food is always great…I’ve had their soup, curry, and larb; and it’s all so good. If you want to support a local business that cares about their establishment, come here
Some of the best Thai food in the valley. Used to be open later, but I will always go out of my way if it means I can get to Jaopaya. Par Kha Pao, pad Thai, all the curries; they’re all excellent. Be careful ordering spicy, you will get it HOT!!!
The food here is fresh, authentic, absolutely delicious, I recommend the crab rangoon or cream cheese wontons as they call them. And the boba Thai iced tea. Amazing. Great service. Should really check this place out.
great food and very clean restaurant
Food is always good been going here for 15 years. I was probably one of the first customers when they first opened. Excellent service. Food is hot off the kitchen. Good price and excellent servings. No complaints. Best Thai place in the valley 🙌.
First timer love the beef broccoli. Tastes very fresh and savory. Real good spot if you are looking for authentic Thai food.
Just moved to the neighborhood and looking for my new favorite Thai spot and I FOUND IT! I ordered my 2 favorites-the Thai beef jerky with jeow and som tum or green papaya salad. Let's start with the tom sum...it's the best one I've found in the valley. Crunchy fresh and they had no problem when I asked for extra garlic, extra sauce, and only 1 Thai chili. The only part that's lacking in this salad is the website said dried shrimp but it was regular shrimp. But the salad is so good I'll just keep some on hand at home for next time. The Thai beef jerky is marinated to perfection and came with jeow that was bright spicy sweet and sour---perfectly balanced. The service was warm and friendly, and even though I got takeout the restaurant definitely looked like a nice place to sit down and eat. Can't wait to eat there again!

I picked up the mixed veggie in garlic sauce for my lunch break. 1st time trying this place and I am highly satisfied! I will be back to sit down and enjoy the restaurant. Very enjoyable atmosphere.
I come here for lunch frequently, and they have a pretty awesome lunch special. A little bit more than $7 gets a large portion of great curry (green, red, or yellow) with chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu, a side of white rice, a side salad, and a soda. Can't really beat that, especially because the food is such high quality. Fun fact: Turmeric, found primarily in yellow curry, is known to have mental health benefits. It's no Dr. Oz cure all, but many researchers think that it could have an effect on fighting off diseases like Alzheimer's. Soooooo basically, it's a great idea to eat a lot of thai food (and Indian food)!
Jaopaya Thai is a very welcoming restaurant. The seats are padded. The walls are tastefully decorated. Their service is good and knowledgeable. I would rate Jaopaya 4.5 stars. We ordered thai tea and they were some of the best we have had. The seafood with red curry and glass noodle salad had a depth of flavor and was spiced the way we ordered them. It is not inexpensive, however it is spot on in terms of value. There is a small parking lot in back and at night it is dark and parking in the street.
This family run Thai food restaurant is located in the west San Fernando valley. The place is also under new ownership so if you have not been there in a while, it does look a bit different. There is metered parking in the front and free parking in the back. The staff are friendly. It’s a chill spot so you can choose to dine in or take out. There was ample sitting space so it’s good for solo and group eats. Now for the food. I tried the shrimp fried rice, chicken dumplings, crab cheese and orange chicken. Out of all these the chicken dumpling was my favorite. The fried rice was ok. I probably should have requested it be a bit spicy. The crab cheese was also delicious. The orange chicken had a lotta kick of orange so if that’s your thing, you’ll enjoy it. I prefer a bit more subtle hint. They had chicken satay and pork jerky which I didn’t try but it looks pretty yummy. Oh and I had the Thai tea. That’s always a win for me so I loved that. My experience here was pleasant but next time I’ll choose something else as my main dish. Maybe the chow mein or pork jerky ?
Really good fresh food. Good lunch special.

Really good fresh food. Good lunch special.
OK is enough for their delivery service: 1. They forgot the extra rice. 2. The beef satay can and should be better (The chicken is good). It was not bad. It was average. The delivery was on time, and the food was still hot. But just OK.
Food was good but not much taste. I asked for hot sauce and she said “no, it comes spicy I don’t recommend it, too salty” and wouldn’t offer me one. The Pad Thai says comes with peanut sauce. It does not. I asked for some, came in a small container and didn’t taste good even. Was not impressed
I eat Thai food all the time, and this place is mediocre at best. Walked in and no greeting. Lady at cash register just said, eat here or take out. I said I'll be eating here and she tossed me the menu. Ordered Kai Kua (Chicken noodle dish). Attached a pic. It tasted overly cooked, greasy, lacked flavor and presentation. Definitely not what I'm use too at most other good Thai restaurants. Perhaps it's the Latin dude with the white t-shirt cooking in the kitchen? Also ordered a Thai ice tea. It was ok. I won't be back for more. Lam-Na-Kaad up the street is much better. However, if you don't care about how good it is, the prices are a bit lower than most Thai restaurants. 😕👎
Sad to say because I love this place. But i went for dinner and saw two cockroaches in the bathroom. I tried to brush it off thinking maybe it’s just the bathroom. When the waitress brought my plate a roach rushed at me from the plate she put on the table!! I had to excuse myself. Don’t know if it’s under new ownership as I have never seen this before. Jaopaya fix the issue please!
the food was normal until that time when I saw the big cockroach , it was disgusting, it was at the head of the sofa and it climbed directly above my head, when I called the waiter and showed it to her , she very calmly climbed on the sofa and held it by the hand,OMG I will never come here again,
I always used to order the seafood soup because of the crab when I was pregnant... we go maybe a month ago and they changed it to imitation crab... it was so gross .. literally made me sick.. never went back
I received spoiled shrimp in the shrimp wraps and I order pad Thai with pork and was sent shrimp instead that was spoiled. I had it delivered with Grubhub and it was the worst. I was nauseous for a hour and finally forced myself to throw up. They should be out of business for this!
The chicken seemed rubbery and although the menu says Spicy Noodle, the food was bland. I threw everything away as the food seemed to be under cooked and with no thought about the taste. Having eaten Thai cuisine multiple times at different restaurants, I would not recommend this restaurant for thai cuisine.
We ordered over $100.00 dollars worth of food for dinner tonight and it was HORRIBLE I have no idea what has happened to this place but it’s not the same at all I won’t be ordering anything else from this place.
The worst Thai food experience we ever had. We went here for dinner. It We ordered the spicy short ribs , crispy pork and tom yum khai. The other table complained about their food and unfortunately they were not able to finish and left the restaurant. On our end when they served the short ribs, the meat was overcooked and it jst for few small pieces! Waste of money! The soup was so salty and the pork too! I guess they were not in the mood to cook that night!
