It cracks me up that people are saying $4 is too much for a beer??? Seriously!? I think that amazing! Go to any brewery and it's double!

Great little home town bar food is good and drinks are reasonable they have free pool 2 days a week and Mondays have drink specials all day. Always like going in there having Brian as the bar tender.

Great place! During the week it is a great place to sit at the bar and have drink and hang out. The weekends they will have a live band or other things going on. I like places like this where I can hang out, drink and enjoy myself and not have music blasting so loud that I have to yell to talk.

How did we not know about this place yet!? It has all of my favorite things to have with a bar: -live music nights - a working jukebox with a huge selection -big screen TVS -Amazing food -local beers on tap -great, friendly staff My husband and I found this place through Yelp when I knew that I wanted a really good burger and that I also wanted to shoot some pool. I was not disappointed. The food: HOLY HAMBURGER! We split their regular burger, on a jalepeno bun and substituted the fries for onion rings. I am only disappointed that I didn't get a whole one for myself. The bun was probably the best bun I have had in a long time. It was soft and buttery and the jalepenos were just right- not too overpowering. The whole burger itself was so good that hubby didn't even want to put condiments on it. I left mine loaded up and added my regular ketchup and mustard. I woke up the next morning wanting to go back for a breakfast burger. No lie- That good! The onion rings were handmade fresh in the kitchen, and we could tell not only by their appearance but from their taste. They were delicious. A salty batter really complimented the cooked onions. This is where I agreed with hubby: they were so good that I ate them without ketchup. That is a first for me. We also split the fried pickles for an appetizer and the batter was very similar to the onion rings. Delicious again. The pickles were sliced thin and they were still juicy as you bit into their fried awesomeness. The only improvement I would suggest is to upgrade the plain ranch that is served with them and add some seasoning. I think even a little Tonys mixed in would have been a good improvement. The atmosphere: From the second we walked in the door, we were greeted by friendly faces. The night we came, there was a live band so there was a $7 cover. The door guys welcomed us, told us all about the band, and recommended food on the menu. The Saloon itself was big. It has a good sized full bar, a stage, two pool tables, a lot of seating, a shuffleboard, darts, some video arcade games like Golden Tee, a jukebox with a huge library of Texas country and old school country, and it has an upstairs deck to overlook the whole place. It is decorated with the usual country rustic mixed with bar signs and TVs, and my favorite part is that it sits like 100 ft or less from the train tracks. When the train passed by several times during the night, we could feel the vibrations in our chairs and feet. It completed the rustic feel of downtown historic Richmond to have the train tracks running right there. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a night out with good food, music and fun atmosphere. We are going to come back to check this place out on game night....mostly because I really want another one of those out-of-this-world burgers. :)

I come to the lone Star saloon to see my brothers, they play in the band!!! The club is really nice awesome bartenders awesome waitresses and the people that come there are very very friendly and the place is clean so you can't go wrong by going to the lone Star saloon!!! Yeah Buddy!!!

There's some unexpected, unintelligible currency system going on here. You probably wouldn't understand, but that's because you aren't aware that 10 tickets (god knows how you get them) could win you a Mr. Coffee Pot that's been kept safely inside a trophy case inside its original wal mart packaging next to the restroom of said saloon. Must see in Richmond...

chicken Salad and the broccoli cheese soup are both to die for. Egg salad was good, but a big disappointment in comparison (too much mayo, too little egg, who knows what else?). Tuna salad, which I've had many times before, was always very good

Just an all around great place. Nostalgic in the least, staff is a great deal of the ambiance. So much fun! We sat outside and it was so nice. But they really should have some kind of drink or shot special everytime the train goes by. The staff is so nice, Kara (Jen A) made it fun, so great!. The food was good too.

Best saloon in all of Rosenberg. Room to dance, live music, pool tables to play at 75 cents a game and the drinks are cold. What more can you ask for? The bar staff is friendly and keep the drinks flowing. Dont be afraid to tip like you're rich. Go here to hear some good bands.

One of the best kept secrets in Texas. Our first time here, we were pleasantly surprised. Biggest, small country & western hang out saloon I've ever visited. Once we walked in our eyes were filled with so much to see and delighted when we realized there was a 2nd floor with a balcony view down below. Big horseshoe shaped bar, large stage for a band, adorable dance floor, pool tables, shuffle board and to our surprise a dart board. Inexpensive eats until midnight. We had a great time. We will be back.

Fun place to catch live music. You can grab your partner and dance in front of the band or climb the stars to the balcony for a great view of the bar. Good time!

This was the first time we've been to this place and to say we liked the food is an understatement. Each one of us ordered a different dish and all 3 dishes were very good. We definitely found a new favorite spot to eat and not to mention the great service and atmosphere.

A gem in Richmond. Fantastic clean atmosphere, the staff was professional and personable. The varied menu was a nice surprise. Big, open space with live music throughout the week. The band is on a stage so plenty of room for dancing on a date night. Shuffleboard, darts and a variety of other major arcade games.

was my first time here and did not disappoint! the place is big and the staff were friendly! it was steak night. they cook the steaks to order outside on the grill. the steak was seasoned with yummy lemon pepper and very tender. it came with a fresh build your own salad and baked potato fixings. my friends got the chicken tenders which also were great. the portions are generous including the steak!

We stopped in for lunch. I had the Lonestar burger and my wife had a BLT. Service was excellent and food was good. We especially liked the onion rings. I took one star off because it's a smoking establishment. I realize that may be a plus if you are a smoker. They also have a well cared for shuffleboard... that's always a plus for me.

Great bar. Vape friendly no smoking indoors. Has 2 pool tables and a shuffleboard table and a dartboard. The two karbach beers I had were flat. Still a good place to go. Definitely recommend for a nice night out. Parking is only on the street. The parking behind the bar is for a hotel.

We got invited to watch a certain band They were great but I didn’t catch their name. The service was great! But just make sure you check your itemized bill after, but sometimes it’s an honest mistake so just read over what’s put on your tab. We sadly ate before coming so all we ordered was the fried mushrooms, but let me tell you! It was soooo good. My boyfriend and I will take a trip back out to have dinner here. I believe they said steak nights are on Tuesday, and Wednesday is burger night. Great atmosphere and great music!

Went for a workday lunch. Got a hamburger basket and soda. Food was very good. Sat at the bar so service was spot on. Shared the entire place with a few other folks. Will definitely go back. May be a great place for a mid day breather with some peace and quiet. Update:. Went back for a lunch and this place remains on my list for a quick, easy and quiet lunch.

Friendly staff. Comfy place, the music is nice, overall the restaurant is very nice and cozy. The menu is small but there's variety for every taste. Good suggestions are good. Prices are a bit overpriced for what you get. Appetizers is freshly made and delicious.

This bar is a nice hole in the wall place to drink when there is no place elsr to go, but that's about all it is. I love that they have live music but there drink options are very limited. They used to have a few craft beer, but they didn't have any the other night. Also, the bar still allows smoking and doesn't have great ventilation. I will return if we have a large enough group but I won't return my myself.

The good news: even cooking from frozen, they do a good job with the food. Tastes good, good portions, well presented (keeping in mind that it's still primarily a bar). The bad news: It was me and one other guy eating there. Our waitress seemed to have trouble seeing to us both.

A pretty neat and chill bar/ saloon... But it's only fun if you're over the age of 35 as that appears to be the youngest age here.

OMG ITS SO FREAKING HOT IN THIS PLACE!!!!!!! After several attempts of asking for the a/c to be turned down on several trips to this location all i get is "we are sorry mam its already down" so be prepared to sweat your rear off. i saw several employees walking into the freezer to cool off so i know it isnt me i feel bad for them. im sure its the rich owner that could really care less. staff is ok alot of them are very nice, you do have your attitude issues with some.(especially on Friday night) food is good. they haven't updated their menu in a while, and some things are begining to become repetitive. but what they have is good until you get use to it. Some cooks are better than others. there is a bald one with a chin beard that i think is the best, when i see him i order for sure.ou The atmosphere is ok if your into the western thing. they have live bands on friday and sat overall i wouldnt go back until i see some kind of temp difference. it's hard to enjoy yourself in a 90 bar (and thats when its empty without a crowd) until then if you do go i dont recommend friday nights, or at least dont set at the bar if your a woman. the older looking barbie has a attitude issue. maybe find a seat away from there near the worn out pool tables.....

Pricey entrance fee. I had a great time however, being from Houston I felt very uncomfortable that around 1am, a local police officer decided to enter and stay at the bar. He was observing the patrons and checking them out as they walked to and from the restroom or from the patio. I mean we are all at a bar at such a late hour and you see a cop who's obviously looking for something to get into; not a comforting feeling...for that reason I'll never attend this place again. Last thing I need is to deal with a cop questioning me after I've had a couple drinks. In Houston there are law enforcement officer that make their presence known at bars or clubs so the patrons can feel safe and secure. Not in Richmond/fort bend....he was there to harass and give citations. Stay away!!! Their jail is 5 minutes down the road.

Very excellent lunch menu the $5 menu goes along!!! Over this past month I've been going back atleast once a week if not twice, today was like the last visits food good but there timing is poor. I placed an order at 12:15 arrived at 12:30 to a few customers but none were eating, all had a drink, so its hard to understand why my food came out at 1pm...like I said this has been happening over the past month so yeah this will be my last visiy

Who knew you could still smoke in restaurant/bar in 2016? No idea how that's legal here. $7 cover on Friday nights too and there's no one here. Literally the most expensive cover I've ever paid to get into an empty bar.

They have gambling machines. I gambled and won. Brian the GM said I get coffee pots. Lol!! I put $100 in the machine. Come on Brian. If you run illegal establishments I get that and I’m clearly ok with it, but when u don’t pay out I’m not. Keep the $100 and the coffee pots lol ima send my friends to discuss those machines with you.

Shity service, horrible barbacks cooks and the guy named john loves to have people call and harass us all night long along with another employee. The employee does drugs and has gone in under the influence,and love to say they are related to the owners it is 2:20 am and we are still getting harrassing calls and text. This is utterly ridiculous. The owner needs to drug test randomely and more spontaneously.

I had the california rolls, the tiger hand roll, some yellowfin sashimi, two half bowls of Pho 🍜, two hot servings of freshly made Natto, and the sampler of crawfish etouffe with a half of a Fried Oyster Po-boy. The food seemed, at least it looked like it may have been flavorful, but all I could taste was the Dixie Balckened Voodoo beer that they have on tap here, and about 45 cigarettes, average, being lit per minute. Gross!

Was threatened and harassed by multiple people including the barback had 2 more numbers call me one say he was the owners son. Then when calling him out claimed he was like the owners son have it all on recording then he said im another barback then he magically is the cook. Then recieve yet another call an multiple text saying if i dont delete the review i posted from this bar i would be put in jail for harassment when im the one who they are calling an threatening poor poor establishment an rip off prices I would rate negative stars if given an option ome is way to much credit plus notice if you read all reviews not one time has the owner said anything when they leave a negative review always avoids honesty an cant do anything to take proper action. I think they should drug test employees because those text were uncalled for.

Local bar with local customers. I went in for the first time with a few friends. Some locals tried to pick a fight with us and we ended up getting kicked out. Was a crazy experience considering we were just trying to enjoy a few drinks. Some dude who claimed that it was “his bar” was very nice but also very drunk. The most professional guy there was the bar tender who happened to have a birthday that day. Seemed like he was doing all he could to hold that place together. We got yelled at by some old folks as we were getting kicked out as if the dudes didn’t come around the bar to start problems with the first timers. Long story short, I would avoid this place and literally go anywhere else. Was a terrible first time experience.

Arrived at 7PM for Wednesday burger special, for such a great price special there were 3 others ordering food. I requested a medium rare temp and was told they would get it as close as possible. This would be a miracle to have a med rare because parcooked burgers can not be uncooked. The side salad was wilted lettuce and old tomatoes and cucumbers. The regulars were ordering fried foods which are exceptional! Stay with the friends fried food and come kd beers. Cheers

My wife and I went into this restaurant on Friday December 18, at around 6pm. There were no customers inside and the band appeared to be setting up. The lady that greeted us said you can sit anywhere you like. We proceeded to sit-down and nearly ten minutes passed by no waiter/waitress asked if we needed anything. My wife then got up and asked the lady at the bar is the area we were sitting in ok for service because we had not been acknowledged by anyone to take our food and drink order. The lady again said you can sit anywhere you like. Needless to say after another wait of approximately 15 minutes it became painfully obvious to us as to what was going on. We were the only two African Americans in the building. Once again there are no other customers in the entire restaurant they are not busy and were doing absolutely nothing. At least 3-5 employee's just walking around talking and having a good time. We got up to leave and not one employee said a single word they literally just watched us walk out. To be honest I would really like for the owner to explain to me how this could happen in 2021 this isn't 1967 or maybe it still is in Richmond Texas. You would think with all of the recent restaurants that had to close the doors permanently people would be more appreciative of the customers they have.
