Fantastic place, everything was so delicious. Service was impeccable and attentive. The place felt so friendly and inviting with a great atmosphere. Even the complimentary bread and oil was a step above. The oil came with roasted peppers that make it the best bread dip I've ever had. Seriously divine. The salad was simple but perfect. Baked ziti with meat sauce was perfectly cooked and full of flavor at a magnificent price. This is a gem of a place for a local or tourist wanting a classic new york Italian meal. Highly recommend everyone to try and I'll be a lifelong customer. Better than the other $$$$ places in nyc that I've tried and way more worth it.
A neighborhood staple and a personal favorite. Always the best.
Great food and phenomenal service. The owner and wait staff were constantly on the run and made sure we had everything we needed. Truly cared about our time there. That's what it's supposed to be like! Has an old school vibe to it!
Joe’s Restaurant has been a staple in my family for Countless years. There are not enough good things I could say about Joe’s one of the best family restaurants in Ridgewood, if not the best.
Great food!!! Delicious!!! Authentic!!! Very friendly staff!!! Been there at least a dozen times, never been disappointed. The bar makes the drinks just the way I like them strong!!! Family run restaurant. They’ve been In the neighborhood longer than I can remember. Always have a great time. Thank you
Great homely vibe. Owner is great and accommodating.
Amazing Italian food with actual Italian portions! Great service as well very kind people!! Try the gnocchi 🔥
Wonderful local Italian restaurant. The food exceeded my expectations and the prices were great. Would rate 4.5 because of the bathrooms not being tidy according to my Italian mothers expectations lol, but value and taste is a 5. Will be returning.
Firstly, I love the classic family feelings I get from Joe's. I recently moved to the Ridgewood area and want to find my neighborhood Italian place. I can tell it's a very beloved place. I gave it five stars because these small businesses need all the support we can give. Here are my positives: Portion sizes are generous. I ordered the small antipasti, garlic bread Parm, and a entree with a couple beers. It came to $50 and could have fed 3 people healthily. The services was so great. Attentive but not hovering, polite but not fake nice. Everybody was helpful and efficient with any requests I had. Their sauce is special. It's definitely their specialty. I want to go back and just get a simple plate of pasta and sauce. What I didn't like: The antipasti wasn't great. The greens had some very wilted leaves, some were almost dry. The cheeses don't feel like they're made in Italy. The meat was not great. It was just sliced salami I could get from the corner deli. The olives were good and I enjoyed them very much. The olives really tasted like Italy/Greece. The garlic Parmesan bread was ok, but I had to ask them to bring their red sauce for dipping. With a little red sauce on the side for the garlic bread it becomes a great side dish. Without red sauce it's too dry. I'm not going to talk about the entree I ordered. I think I just ordered the wrong thing... Next time I'll keep it simple, their pasta is authentic and fantastic. I learned my lesson. My least favorite thing about the whole experience was the music. They need to have a better playlist or music curation. Some Italian folk music would be so beautiful. Or just something ambient and light like classical guitar. Instead they had very generic and cheap covers of top 40 pop songs playing with a heavy beat and annoying American vocals. It didn't match the authentic Italian style of family restaurant. It sounded like a JCPenny shopping mall. Overall, I love these places where you can get a good large meal to feed a family and support a small family business. 5 - Stars! With a couple little improvements I can see myself wanting to come back here every week. I was happy to tip over 20% and I will be back!
We ordered many appetizers prior to our meal all were very fresh and nicely portioned. Entrees were also fresh and decently portioned. Service was very good, staff was friendly and prices were not too high. We had a great time. We will definitely be going back.
Joes food is old school Italian food which is amazing. The Family who own it are wonderful. I used to go with my girlfriend and my stepdaughter for dinner occasionally lunch. The best part of the place is the memories with my stepdaughter Alexandra when I took her there after school. She would have a smile from ear to ear. Her favorite is their spaghetti and meat sauce of course. I loved that also mind you. I eventually would like to come back to Joes to make new memories, but for right now it makes me cry missing my daughter when I walk in without her seeing the table we once shared, now empty.
Whether it’s dine in or delivery Joes is great. The scampi is my favorite but I’ve had the entire menu and loved it all. Tonight they got swamped on delivery or had something happen so our dinner was late and the owner personally delivered the food to us. These times are hard and being a fellow local business owner I understand that all too well, as I hope most people do and if not ... they should check themselves and figure it out. I’m sure they have dealt with a dramatic upswing in deliveries since all this happened and he’s dealing with plenty of bull from every angle as most businesses are. And the fact that he stepped up to handle this personally definitely speaks to the quality of his character which is equally matched by the quality of the food and effort they put into this amazing neighborhood restaurant. Thanks for everything guys. You are greatly appreciated and I wish you continued success on the road to economic recovery. Cheers
Hidden Gem!! We had attended a wake a few blocks away and discovered Joe’s Restaurant. We were a party of 8 on a Friday night without a reservation and they were kind enough to accommodate us. The food and service was outstanding! We even met the owner who made sure we were well taken care of. Everything is made fresh and you can taste the difference. Can’t wait to go back! ❤️
I have lived around the corner from this place for since 2008 and have always seen this place but never walked in. i thought it was odd that it was this far up Forest where there is barely any foot traffic, but I've always had friends recommend that place. I finally decided to try and oh man!!!! I cannot believe this place was not in my list of go-to places. With every Italian restaurant, I order Chicken Parm... I figure that if you can't make chicken parm, then you don't know what you are doing so that is what I chose. They give you an option of spaghetti or ziti and I chose ziti and it was incredible from the chicken to the sauce... oh man the sauce and it is a pretty big portion. I have finally found my go-to Italian place. They might even end up on my speed dial. Looking forward to trying the rest of te menu.
The best dining establishment in all of Ridgewood. Can’t recommend enough!! The food is great, prices are solid, all the staff is amazing, and the owner is a great guy. My friends and I come for a nice dinner here and there as well as with larger parties for birthdays and etc. My fav dish is the vodka gnocchi, and my partners is the eggplant parm. But the mashed potato’s slap p hard, they make delicious cocktails, as well the pasta in shrimp sauce goes hard. Oh and the fried calamari is v yummy too, but make sure to ask for it spicy ;) It’s a gem in the neighborhood and I don’t think there’s a person that’s dined here and didn’t have a great experience.
This place feels like im in goodfellas, and a part of the fellas, not just some lousy background character. The food here is so delicious, smack your mama delicious. The chicken Francaise is fuego. The bread and dip is also fuego Come here please, and do ask for refills.
The food and service are great. The only problem is that it's impossible to find a parking spot. Price per person from apps to dessert (including drinks) is around $90-100.
The service was good. The food was even better. Absolutely amazingly tasty freshly made Italian food. One of the best in this city
Just went today for my second time. And I must say the food does not disappoint. It's without a doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in queens. I had a table of 10 and Nasa was our Server. He was incredible, he constantly was checking if we needing anything. He was very polite and gave us outstanding service. I highly recommend Joe's trust me you won't be disappointed.
Best Italian restaurant in Brooklyn and the most authentic food I have tried in New York . I came here for my birthday they have no equal. Love the veal saltimbocca! I wish they roll it but it’s ok.
Amazing food! Will be going back soon. I enjoyed every meal. Steak was juicy! Bread made fresh! And good serving size portions.
Always fine. Been coming to Joe's since it was a pizzeria a few blocks away. The food is always spot on. Anthony has been here since the beginning and is always glad to see you and very welcoming. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
Joe's is one of the best Italian restaurants in all of NYC. Family owned and run, you will feel like part of the family by the tome your meal is over.
Been here twice by recommendation of a friend and was pleased. Food was good and authentic and service was great. The only thing that took us offguard was the mashed potatoes that came with the chicken parmesan because it came with a side of pasta already. Parking can be hard to find but would return to have dinner again and love that it's not too far from where I live.
Place is amazing, they do everything right. The seafood and the rigatoni were amazing, every dish I saw come out of the kitchen looked phenomenal and it was hard to choose. The bread was really good and the server told me his father bakes it everyday. Also the staff were really friendly, we got treated right. Place has obviously been around a long time, lotsa regulars obviously on a Friday. Go here and eat.
Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Food is very authentic and very tasteful. Service is awesome as they make you feel at home and are always very attentive. Thank you very much for the great time. I will definitely be back soon.
Where to even begin? I guess with a, go to Joe’s, you won’t regret it. My wife and I have been coming to Joe’s since we first moved back to Ridgewood - 3 years ago and it has become our go to spot for date night and celebrations. The staff is incredible and the food is perfection! We have tried the entire menu multiple times over and have no critique, there is something for everyone! Check em out, you won’t regret it!
This place is so beautiful! The feeling as soon as you step in was really comforting! The service was great and the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo which was really good, probably some of the best Alfredo I had and the portion size was really big and worth the price. My partner ordered the chicken parmigiana (which was huge) and they said that the chicken was really juicy and their was plenty of sauce and cheese to accompany it! They also said that the ziti that came with it was okay, it won’t blow your mind but was still pretty good. We also ordered the garlic bread which was super good and crispy. The bread that they give you to start out with was also super crispy and the oil that accompanied it was delicious. To finish it off we ordered the tiramisu, my partner enjoyed it more than I as it kinda resembled cake, I prefer mine to be more spongy and stronger in coffee flavor which I felt like was lacking a little bit. Overall I would visit again and 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for delicious Italian food that’s worth your buck!
The Vodka Grandma Pizza is probably the best I’ve ever had. All toppings are fresh and the sauce is perfect. So glad this hidden gem classic NY style pizzeria (re) opened down the street.
My son and I had a beautiful lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Excellent service and a nice atmosphere.
Absolutely love this place, always enjoy their food. It's one of my favorite Italian places in the neighborhood
Delish food, good prices. Great portions. Friendly staff (not the type of super friendly, but with personality. These are the kind of those waiters who become friends of their regular clients). Here I saw people saying "bye, it was delicious as always". The service is a little bit slow but meh, it worth it.
I order from here every time i’m craving pasta and its always so good! The portions are huge and the food is always so fresh! I need to come into the restaurant next!
Joe's is an excellent restaurant that's been around for years, and for good reason. The mussels with red sauce are great. The red sauce is great, period. Which means all the parms and pastas are amazing. What makes Joe's stand out even more is the warm service, which makes you feel like family. Everybody was welcoming, and the staff worked as a team to make sure we had everything we needed, when we needed it. My family walked out full (with leftovers) and happy. And we want to go back.
I went to Joe's Restaurant for the first time with my mother and daughter for dinner before heading to a show. The atmosphere is soothing with low lighting and a great Playlist playing i the background. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, nice portions, and enough to take some home for a snack the next day. I was pleasantly surprised by this gem in my neighborhood. I will be visiting again.
I come from Arizona every year and one of my 1st stops in NYC is Joe's. Every dish is perfect! My favorite is the Veal Parm - no one makes it better. Their sauce is amazing & their marinated green peppers with bread is legendary (served same way for over 30 years)
I've been coming to Joe's for 30 years. The original spot was a few blocks down and a regular pizza place. I have to say I've never been disappointed with a meal or the staff. The family is great and the food is consistently great. It's great to see the kids involved in the family business. Love it!
Lovedddd it. I had shrimp parm with ziti and my husband had veal parm with ziti. The hot bread comes out with delicious peppers in oil. Out of this world. Bread is from a great baker old school in Astoria. Rose & Joe's Bakery. Back again. Wow. What a great meal. The fish is off the charts
The food here is absolutely delicious!!!!! The flavor profiles are amazing, the sauces are W O W! 12 out of 10
I absolutely loved this place. The staff were my favorite part of our visit. They were young spunky down the earth amazing. The waitresses were very pretty and the guys were handsome down the earth and attentive. Loved the atmosphere.. the pace of service was just right and I do t have any complaints. We ordered the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and I ordered the eggplant parmesan which was okay... but the fettuccine was AMAZING order that if you cant decide on anything else. You will be more than happy!!!! We ordered the tomatoes and mottz as the app and before bbn I forget the bread is addictive and the oil that you dip it into is addictive so please make them rush that out!!! Our bill came to be about 85 for two people with apps entrees and drinks. It was worth every cent. Also the place is good for all occasions so bring your family bring your hot date and have a nice meeting here. You wont regret it. Bon appetit !!!
Okay, stumbled into Joe’s on a Wednesday night - lowkey but great energy! Amazing prices, excellent portions, tasty food + wine!! The pepper oil is mind blowing!!! Get ready to dip! I got the spaghetti and meatballs with some cheesy garlic bread, stellar combo. Large carafe of wine? Yes please! My three friends and I easily had three glasses each. Definitely coming back to Joe’s! Dinner now + lunch tomorrow (-: Want to add on that our lovely server gifted us a piece of CREME BRÛLÉE CHEESECKAE!! (Pic 3) absolutely divine❤️
First time at Joe's and it's a shame that it has taken me so long to visit. This restaurant needs to be described in superlatives: as you enter, you are greeted effusively. The restaurant radiates warm and that sense of being in a welcoming place. The decor is well done and visually pleasing and the spacing is very comfortable, allowing for conversation with your dinner companions. The service is top notch and Francesco and his team spare no effort to make your experience top notch. We started with the seafood ceviche (they called it salad, but that was ceviche) which was OUTSTANDING! The bread was fresh and warm (Yes!) and the accompanying olive oil with peppers was heavenly. We continued with the shrimp scampi with linguine sauce, another hit! The pasta was perfectly al dente and the jumbo shrimp was perfectly cooked. Overall, a feast for the taste buds! Lol. I will be a regular👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This has been my family’s favorite Italian restaurant for as long as I can remember. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, and it’s where we celebrate special occasions, enjoy regular Friday night dinners, or just get together as a family. The space is cozy and intimate, and the food is always fresh and consistently excellent. The second you sit down, you’re greeted with a fresh loaf of bread, a plate of olive oil, and the best peppers you’ll ever eat it instantly sets the tone for the meal. The family all works there, which truly gives the restaurant its warm, welcoming, family style atmosphere. The staff has been there for years and has always taken such great care of us they know us by our first names, and you genuinely feel like part of the family every time you walk in. We’ve never had a bad meal here, and after all these years, that really says something. You always know what you’re getting: incredible food, attentive service, and a place that feels like home. And to top it off, they have the best mussels in all of Queens hands down.
I had the pleasure of taking my niece/Goddaughter Nena to Joe's Italian Restaurant in Ridgewood for her birthday dinner this past Friday 19 December 25. It was years ago, that I had dined there,as I live in Brooklyn. For dinner, I ordered Eggplant Rollatini as An Appetizer,as that is an item that I always order whenever I go to Italian Restaurants in the city. For Dinner My Dear Niece Ordered Cheese Ravioli And I Ordered Chicken Parmesan For Dinner We Shared A Bomba, Vanilla Ice Cream with A Cherry Enrobed In Dark Chocolate. They Put Whipped Cream And Decorated It With Chocolate Swirl . It Was Absolutely Beautiful,Perfect For My Niece's Birthday,It Was Absolutely The Finishing Touch To A Most Excellent Dining Experience. The Staff There Works Most Excellent With Each Other,That's Important. The Ambience And The Decor Were Beautiful. My Server Alessia Was So Professional,Had A Beautiful Personality And Was So Courteous,Made My Dining Experience Most Enjoyable. I highly Recommend Joe's Italian Restaurant To Anyone Looking For Some Great Italian Food,You Will Be GLAD That You Stopped By To Try Them Out, You Won't Be Disappointed.
Wonderful atmosphere, as authentic family-style Italian as it gets. Awesome staff, extremely reasonable prices, and delicious food! Portions were massiveeee! Penne Alla Vodka slapped 💥
God I loved it here at joes. Me, my mama, my papa, and my papas new fiance, all came here at about 3:30 Pm on a Friday. We had a delicious meal. I got the manicotti, and tiramisu. My mama let me try her wine tonight! ;) and I loved it. Thank you Joe and the team! We will be coming back for sure. See you next Friday!
My wife and I were in town from Nebraska visiting our son and we had the pleasure of dining at Joe's Restaurant in Ridgewood, NY, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, the welcoming atmosphere and warm hospitality set the tone for a fantastic meal. The staff was friendly and funny, a real 'family' atmosphere. It was the most fun I've had at a restaurant in a LONG time. Don't miss it!
I stopped by Joe’s Restaurant for lunch and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served promptly—perfect for a midday meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a nice break in the day. Service was excellent—friendly, efficient, and attentive without being overbearing. Great quality all around, and the prices were very fair. I’ll definitely be back!
Joe's Restaurant in Ridgewood, NY is the real deal, folks! I mean, I've had my fair share of Italian food, but this place is the cousin that always brings the best dishes to the family reunion! I went in expecting the usual pasta and sauce, but oh no, Joe's brought out the big guns! The ribeye steak was so tender, I thought I was in a scene from The Godfather. And don't even get me started on the lobster - it was like a taste explosion in my mouth! But the real MVP was the mash potatoes - who knew those humble spuds could be so... exciting? And the spaghetti marinara? Classic, just like Nonna used to make! And let's not forget the appetizers - shrimp cocktail that was so fresh, I thought I saw the shrimp waving at me, and a green salad with bread and garlic olive oil dip that was basically a taste sensation! All this, plus a warm and fuzzy family atmosphere that made me feel like I was part of the crew. And the coffee? Fuhgeddaboutit! It was like a hug in a mug! In short, Joe's Restaurant is the real deal. Go there, eat all the things, and thank me later. Five stars, ten stars, a million stars - it's not enough!" Boun appetito!!
Just to say...perfection on Ridgewood! This Italian restaurant represents what is all about great service delicious food! The ambient and atmosphere is very calm welcoming from the moment you step into Joe's. Be ready to enjoy the most delicious Italian cuisine. The service is top noch!! We talking about great service all the way. The food is masterpiece on your mouth. BABABOOM service by nasa and every one that was taking care our table. He was sure the my salad was gluten free full of flavors. ( my apologies for no having every one names here on this review, my notes are been stolen) but you know who you are. Thank you so much to all for a amazing service. Thank you for bababoom cuisine. I recommend 100% this place. My recommendations call for reservations. Please try everything!! Good on the eye BABABOOM for the mouth. Be all safe. Kisses and hugs king size muuuah. abbraccia il tuo pasto con amore
This neighborhood restaurant is worth the trip!!! Not even my neighborhood and I will be going back!!! The sauce to dip the bread in was CRACK!!!! Very addictive… The bolognese was truly authentic and my fiancé is SO PICKY ABOUT IT; I was wonderfully surprised that she loved it-The waitress and waiters were very attentive, friendly and professional. The vegetables were probably the weakest link but I must say we will be coming back for years! Thank you
A Hidden gem in the Ridgewood/Glendale area. Small restaurant but full of dishes with amazing flavors. Staff is very welcoming and I recommend the house wine. The sauce is made in house fresh, if you love food you will definitely appreciate Joe’s. I’m really happy with the food at Joe’s and when I visit my family and friends I will come to Joe’s for a nice dinner.
Welcoming, decent portion size, entrée good, antipasto good
The food was very good and reasonably priced. I can't recommend the meatballs.
Love this restaurant however when I got the clam linguine there so much sand and grittiness. A little bit is normal but please purge the clams properly or if you're using canned clams consider a different supplier. Otherwise, the pasta was great and every other experience here has been amazing.
The atmosphere here is laid back and it feels like you are in another time. It is a family owned business which has been around a long time. You get the feeling that it is a neighborhood restaurant where the customers are regulars. The prices are good but you have to read the fine print on the menu because some of the new prices are not reflected on the menu. As of 2/7/23 the menu was not updated. The Bread they bring to the table is accompanied by Butter and also by some Olive Oil w/peppers, it was very good. I had the Breaded Shrimp which comes with Pasta or Mixed Vegetables. I had the side of Ziti. The Shrimp was very good but the Ziti was not as Al Dente as I would've like and the sauce was bland. My friend had The Bolognese, she found that it had very little flavor. We shared a Mixed Berry Tart w/whipped cream which was good. The service was good and the staff is friendly. The space is pretty with some nice art and it's cozy.
Went here with my family after my mom's funeral. Food was okay. Service was a little slow. (Atmosphere) Place is clean and nice looking. Only problem was the music. It was so loud You can't even hear yourself think. Making it hard enough to hear what your family members were saying. We were leaning over the table to hear one another.
Nice little place but service was not very attentive even though we were one of only two tables. Had the chicken cacciatore which was good and came with a nice side of pasta but also had what looked like spinach mashed potatoes on the side I didn't like at all. Started with fried calamari which was OK. Food took way too long to come out. Wine was 10.00 a glass, prosecco 12.00. Desert menu had a tiramisu in a glass which looked nice but when it came it was just a small piece so we asked about it and the waiter said we don't have that anymore, eat this it's homemade. Cappuccino came in a double espresso cup and is a joke. Took 20 minutes to get the check after we tried several times because the waiter was on the phone. Obviously they aren't interested in attracting new customers or a lunch time meal. With a 20% tip (which was generous!) The bill was 150.00. Very disappointing and overpriced for this run down area, also street parking is difficult. I will NOT return.
The food was wonderful per usual . Unfortunately Alicia/Alesia's attitude was not. Spoke to me in a disrespectful manner and high tone. I also work in service and it was unacceptable. My friends were shocked she yelled at me. I was too and honestly a grown woman not able to control her tone is beyond me. All I did was ask if we could order. I still left a 20% tip, because I'm not sure how their tip system works. Unfortunately will not be going back where I am disrespected. Great food though, perhaps take out might be nice
I ordered a chicken cutlet, it came with ziti with sauce.. Waiter asked if we wanted our left overs to go, yes of course.. Only when I got home he never put the pasta in my to go box.. He assumed I didnt want the rest?! 🤔 I mean, Im paying for it, why wouldnt I want the rest of my pasta.. Cant lie, the taste of the food wasnt bad.. I enjoyed my meal.. But damn, I didnt even get to enjoy the entirety of my leftovers the next day.. Bummer!! Also, whats up with 5+ waiters helping our table.. We ordered 3 sodas and 2 waiters had to bring them over.. 5+ waiters per table equals alotta times someone comes over to ask if everything is okay.. Anyways, Lunch wasnt bad.. Prob wont come back..
I booked a reservation for a party of 7, which later expanded to 12 guests, and I appreciate that the restaurant was able to accommodate us. However, we encountered several issues during our visit. The wait times between appetizers, drinks, and the main course were longer than expected, and while our party wasn't thrilled about it, we chose not to complain at the time. We were celebrating a birthday and informed our waitress, but it took about 20 minutes after I reminded a waiter for them to come and celebrate with us. Additionally, we waited another 25-30 minutes for the bill after the birthday song. When the owner, Francisco, approached us to ask about our experience, I took the opportunity to share my concerns about the wait times and service. Unfortunately, he became defensive and seemed unwilling to listen to my feedback. I believe it’s important for business owners to be open to constructive criticism, especially when they ask for feedback. This was my first visit, but based on this experience, I don’t think I will be returning. The atmosphere felt standoffish and unwelcoming.
Everything was good food wise. One exception was a female server with braces who mispresented a free glass of wine while we waited for a table. She was dishonest. We had to pay for that glass of wine.
The food was good and the waiter was very friendly but when it came time to pay, a bald man approached and there was not very respectful treatment; I could even say a little racist, a pity that a good place gets spoiled by staff like that
Me and my partner came to eat here as we saw it having good reviews, first thing is when we sat down we saw our waiter pointing at us because we asked for more time to read the menu. On top of it all after that he didn't came back to check up on us until we had to call him over after 10 minutes, our food took 40 minutes to come out and we were informed we had to wait because we didn't order appetizers. However we did ordered a shrimp cocktail that never came, the people that came after us got their food before as well as left before us. The waiter didn't even bothered to check on us or give us any updates about the food, we had to ask for their attention every time. We had to ask the busser for our shrimp cocktail after we finally got our food, and we finally got it. It was one of the worse experiences I ever had, would not recommend and will never be back.
My family ate there for decades... one week before Christmas, my mother was unable to travel, so I said that ok Let me see what I can do locally Joe's confirmed a reservation For TWO ON CHRISTMAS DAY.... When we arrived we were told there was a private party there and we had NO reservstion... Now we are in the middle of the street on Christmas day with mo where to go. Great food Unfortunately Loyalty and community Mean nothing to them R I P
We were shocked. We made reservations a week in advance, asked if we'd be able to get a table in the back, they said no problem. When we arrived, about ten mins before our time, we checked in and said we'd wait, it was empty except for a small party of people clearly celebrating, but saying goodbye, they were putting on their coats. The girl sat us next to the servers' booth. I asked her to be seated in the back, where there were plenty of tables, where we were told we'd be able to sit, and where they sat everyone else who came in after us and left us at that uncomfortable table. Nearly 50 years my family has visited this restaurant, during the pandemic, and this is how they now treat valued customers. We left half of what we would normally tip. What was the point of taking our reservation, say yes they would gladly accommodate us, and then sit us next the bathrooms? While they sat everyone else behind us? Very shocking and not very good service. We celebrated many family events, my communion celebration was here, we have photos of that day. My uncle passed away two years ago, we shared the news and celebrated his life there. This was very disappointing and completely unnecessary. I guess they don't care about service anymore.
Walked in (as a two-person party) without a reservation to a *completely empty* restaurant and was told there was nothing available. Won’t be back.
The mediocre spaghetti, stale grocery store bread and cafeteria salad would have been acceptable for the price, if only they didn't charge us $50 for a twist off bottle of Tortoise Creek (a cheap $10 bottle of Pinot that tasted awful). Never going back.
$23 dollars for absolutely no calamari. Ive had twice the amount of calamari at other places for half the price. Short bald guy was rude said the calamari is extra special like I was dumb lol. How are u going to tell a lady she cant have a normal proportion of food. I am a petite girl, imagine a grown man being served this, still hungry. Didnt even offer to add a bit more. Just a straight no. Never going again. Photo is how i received it without biting into it.
