Great food, great service, good portions...

I purchased a super burrito ... they put all the contents except for the meat on the outside. So that made the burrito kind of dry, especially after I ran out of sour cream and guacamole. Next time, i'm gonna ask them to put everything inside the burrito. Otherwise service was good and the price was affordable.

The food here is always great. I always judge a place by five major criteria. Quality, quantity, price per, consistency, and service, they do a good job on all of that. I order the same thing and always taste the same. Just as good as the first time I had it.

Breakfast served all day. It was tough to choose due to the extensive menu. My fish tacos were really yummy and service was great!

Simple clean atmosphere and good food with a very nice staff and fair prices. Best Mexican food in Rio Vista that I've had. Generous portions and good quality.

Haven't eaten here in years. Went for lunch yesterday and it was absolutely delicious! Had a chicken Taco and enchilada, excellent. My husband had a combo plate equally as delicious. Now, let me tell you about their salsa!!! Soooooo good!

My husband and I shared the El Sinaloa plate. Everything was delicious! Next time we drive thru Rio Vista we will definitely stop by to eat. The service was very good too.

My New Favorite Place while in Rio Vista. My sister and I go often these days. Service is always with a smile even when I tease about not having crushed ice (my favorite with Root Beer) ;) Be ready to wait during busy hours. Not because they are slow, it's because the secret is out and they are busy. You won't wait long, but you may wait a little. Boy, is it worth that wait... YES! It is. Quiet, traffic keeps trickling in, decent prices, good food, but forgetful so stay on top of what you order.

I really don't think there is bad Mexican food. However, Tortilla Flats is good Mexican food at reasonable prices. The El Paso comes with a Beef Taco, Beef Enchalada, and a Pork Tamale for under $20.00.

The server was prompt, and the food was excellent. The chicken fried steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork. The country potatoes were just the right amount of spice and eggs the way I like them.

First visit for my dad an I and it won't be the last! We just happened to stop in on a whim and we are so glad we did! I had the fajita salad and my dad had the egg-chiladas. Both plates were super tasty and their salsa is amazing! This is a must if you are passing thru Rio Vista.

Friendly staff and prompt service. Definitely recommend for those desiring a hearty and well priced meals. Wish I could visit more often.

The service was pleasant and with a great smile. Extensive menu with breakfast served all day. They brought chips, salsa, and pico without request and they wrre fresh and crispy. The pico and salsa tasted amazing. She ordered huevo rancheros andcsaid she enjoyed them, but she prefers green sauce but forgot to tell the server. I was starving and the veggie nachos more than filled me up. She gave us ice tea for the road since it was over 100 degrees. I am from Texas and have been sorely disappointed in the Mexican food in California, but Tortilla Flats has restored my faith. Guess I'm spoiled by all the awesome Tex Mex back home.

Not much to tell really. Nice people , good service. Went in to kill time while the fiance did laundry as it's next door to the laundry mat. Their dessert menu is awesome. Not too much going on when I head into Rio Vista, so give their small town a boost and visit the nice people at Tortilla Flats. The chips and salsa were really tasty and again, the people were kind and attentive.

Stopped in for the breakfast burrito. It was really good. The only downside was not being provided with some salsa. Obviously I could have asked but I wasn't really paying attention so that was on me. I usually go into a spot by my house and they always provide one. Not a deal-breaker. The food was good. I recommend it when in town.

Great Mexican food, full breakfast The service is always quick and friendly here. Check out their weekday lunch specials, always a bargain. Delicious salsa and of course chips. Full breakfast menu too.

Very good! I've lived in Rio Vista 25 years and this is one of my favorite places here .

Service was great but food was not that good. Had to return 1 plate and really wanted to return both. Was hoping for chips and salsa but got none. What salsa we did get tasted like it had bacon in it. Weird and not good. Other patrons were raving about the food, maybe small town locals but being from the city, wasn't impressed.

Great portion sizes. Yet, I stood bewildered in the lobby, not knowing if I was supposed to sit down anywhere or go up to counter to order. Finally, I was told to sit anywhere. Food was mediocre. Glad to know The Striper Cafe always does better and is LESS COSTLY.

3 stars service and atmosphere because we only got take out. Food was okay not bad, we were up-charged for the appropriate amount of salsa for 11 tacos. And the prices in the “ Menu “ tab online are all out dated. 8 tacos and a taco combo plate came out to $70 which felt quiet a bit steep and the tacos a la carte were priced at $5 a piece. Given they are full size corn tortilla tacos though. Will probably make rounds with other Mexican restaurants before coming back.

The portion sizes here are huge.. sure, but the food is awful, tasteless and overall bad quality. My wife and I ordered burritos. Refried beans in a 16 dollar burrito is a travesty. You would have gotten more flavor from a 2 dollar Taco Bell bean burrito. The vegetables must have been cut the previous day because they didn’t smell right. If you are hungry for a large, tasteless meal then this is the place for you, otherwise find anything else out there

I waited quite a while for my chicken tacos plate. I was pretty hungry. I had been stopped on 160 from Antioch for 3 hours behind a fatal car accident. So, I was done waiting - maybe I was a bit biased in my wait. It was about 20 minutes. It's not too long, but it was just me. Now, the food..... it looked ok. The tortillas were bigger than I'm used to for tacos. The black salsa looked different, but it was pretty good, not too spicy and flavorful. However, the rice was cold. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be a b!tch. The chicken was a bit overcooked and completely FLAVORLESS. Well, that's not true, it has a tin taste to it. I squeezed a bit of lemon that was provided onto the chicken and sprinkled some salt. It helped a little. But the lemon itself was an older one, probably cut yesterday, or even more than a few days, and it was a Meyer lemon (the sweet kind). The beans were ok, but canned for sure. It's pretty hard to mess up tacos.. I've never had a more displeasing bite of chicken. Also, my cup had something salty on the rim. It was just a cup of water. It's not the worst place, but most definitely not worth $15. If you're stopping to eat in Rio Vista, just go to Burgerlicious. I've never had any complaints there.

This is by far the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. I ordered a steak super burrito and I was given a chicken and I am allergic to chicken. So I called and told them I was given a chicken and the lady told me I ordered a chicken and I was wrong and wouldn't stop saying the same thing. I told her I'm allergic and I wouldn't order chicken. So she said come back and get a steak so I did. When I got their the ENTIRE staff even the chef came up to me telling me I don't have common sense for not bringing the old burrito back when she didn't tell me to. I threw it away when she said come back and get a new one. The chef and the entire staff surrounded me and kept telling me off and were just so completely rude. The food was okay and was a little over priced but will never return their again for the only fact on how the staff was. I have never experienced something like that.

Bit into plastic wrap in my al pastor taco. How do you cook a long piece of plastic with the rest of the meat and not notice something odd?

ROACHES!!! On 1/25/25 while waiting for lunch to be served, a live cockroach was moving across the wall where we were sitting. I got up and killed it with my shoe. I regret not leaving right then. Another family member saw a smaller live one on another wall as we were leaving. The waitresses seemed indifferent when we notified them. I’ve eaten here many, many times over the years but I’ll never go back again. Tortilla Flats needs to handle this health violation immediately!

For the price, you would think you'd be getting a quality breakfast. Burrito, extremely upset with the amount of refried beans. This massive burrito is full of i've had taco trucks that were better than this and 1 pice of bacon
