The best Mexican food I’ve had so far in the area.

Their specials 👍 always a hit with their taco tuesdays meats on point carnitas a little on the dry side but still good. I highly recommend. Free beans and salsas and chips always fresh and full of flavor. Lemon and steamed jalapeños. Everything always fresh and full of flavor. Decided to go on a Thursday and got the $10 carne asada fries 🍟. Did not disappoint. Full of flavor as well meat was juicy guacamole was awesome. Lots of toppings and wasn't just full of fries . Which i wouldn't have minded since they were crunchy and superb. I highly recommend this is definitely my go to spot. Large portions. (And I'm a big eater) and very easy on your pocket go give em a try

First time to the one in Riverside off Van buren and Orange Terrance. Omg I'm so glad my husband picked here to try. Everything was absolutely delicious! The tacos and taqitios had thee perfect crunch and flavor . The salsa was just enough spice ! Thank you guys! Definitely keeping this restaurant on our family rotation 🙌

Best tacos I’ve had in a while. The cucumber spinach drink also delicious! I asked for a scoop of guacamole on each taco - yum!

Amazing food and amazing service. Carla, Fatima, & Nelson always give exceptional customer service. The salsa bar is one of our favorite parts of coming to El Rey. They also have a variety of delicious Agua Frescas.

We got the Shrimp Quesadilla & Lengua Classic Burrito, both dishes are delicious and filling 👌🏽They also have a chips & salsa bar which is really nice! Me and my husband had a carne asada quesadilla it had a lot of meat it was so good🥰 I had the carne asada burrito was big and they are not shy with the meat. Also my husband had the tripas tacos, pastor and carne asada and lengua he said it was also very good with variety of salsas from mild to really hot. Service was excellent the food was great we would definitely go back again. ❤️❤️

Clean place with plenty of seating. Fast friendly service. Wow everything we ordered tasted great. Chili reno burrito is huge, Sonora taco is large as well., Keto taco was amazing, protein was good. This place is FIRE!!! they make bomb queso birria tacos and large Baja style shrimp tacos. I came here several times with a friend's from work and each time the food was delicious. Service is pretty fast. It's a small local place and gets pretty crowded for lunch. It's well worth it so stop in for those birria tacos.

I searched “tacos” and this was the first location that came up in the area. The customer service at the front counter was friendly, and she recommended taking advantage of their Taco Tuesday deal ($1.75/taco). In terms of drinks, I couldn’t pass on their Strawberries and Cream Agua Fresca, but they also had a melon drink, horchata, and Jamaica. They have a self-serve salsa bar where I was able to take their avocado salsa and green tomatillo salsa, along with some chips. One of their service staff brought the plate of tacos to the table I was sitting at, which had a fair amount of meat, onions, and cilantro on each taco. I’m happy to have another choice of dining when I’m in the area. I’ve had El Rey before in Wildomar, and it’s good to know that they have the same quality of food and high level of customer service.

My new local Taco Shop in Orangecrest! I had their Bomb Bacon Breakfast Burrito (with fries), their Pineapple Fresca reminded me of the Dole Pineapple Plantation Whip (Hawaii) but even better! Their salsa station with fresh carrots, grilled onions and whole Jalapeños was delicious! I will be back to tryout their weekly daily specials!

Small taco shop, they have beans, tortilla chips salsas, grilled onions and jalapenos on their self serve station. Their menu is good, they have tripa! And they even ask you if you want it cooked crispy 💯 this place is good. Their tacos are big and you'll let full off of 3. Their burritos are delicious. Anyways 10/10.

This restaurant may be called El Rey but we were served by hardworking Reynas.👸 The food was ready very quickly and was soo so delicious! The birria tacos a la plancha were the best I ever had hands down! They definitely know how to serve bomb tacos and weren't stingy at all. The fresa con crema drink was to die for, first time a restaurant served a different flavor besides horchata. They also have a self serve salsa and chip bar. The salsas were yummy and spicy too. Definitely a must! 10/10 👌

Being a Florida transplant it's really hard to explain to people what it means to get authentic food. I'm not going to say Mexican because Like the kind you would hand make. Fresh, delicious. Street tacos are my go to at any first time place. Then I'll upgrade to wet burritos, but the tacos are so good! The freshest ingredients and the best chefs. Fresh made chips with beans. My kids love the pickled carrot and onion and said "we want 6 tacos each!"

This is a great place for mexican food and dishes. The ambience is pretty good, but be warned it can get busy and they don't have too many tables for inside seating. I got the chile verde plate and it's quite big for one person alone. They also sell horchata and other drinks but you need to ask them as it wasn't on the menu to be seen.

One of the better Mexican food places not only in or near Orangecrest but also Riverside. I recommend it highly. Good place to dine in or take out. My husband and I have been here twice now for dinner after Saturday church. They have a good variety of offerings with complimentary chips and salsa and pinto beans. The tacos are very good and I have had the shrimp burrito, they didn't skimp on the shrimp. Good food good value!

First time back since it's opened, and it was better than I remembered. Maybe they've been able to settle in. Maybe they've changed ingredients, I don't know. But what stands out is that they have a salsa bar with chips, but it's my opinion that they're using the wrong type of salsa. They're using taco sauce which is more similar to what one would find at fast food Taco shops. It significantly changes the flavor of the food to make it feel More fast. Food-esque.

Carne asada tacos are good you can see how they are flame grilling the steak inside today I tried the breakfast burrito I ordered a steak and egg with refried beans it was really really good with the guacatillo green salsa.

I am updating my review as we come here at the time. The last couple of times we’ve came here the Chilaquiles have been dry and the eggs have black burnt oil from the grill. The tacos are still good. They are busier than before and that is great , however paying attention to these details is important because if it continues to happen we most likely won’t come here at least not for these food items. You can see my previous review below. The service is still good. We come here all the time. The food is always great. All that has changed are the beans not as good as they used to be. Everything else that we have tried is great! The service is good as well. The salsa bar is always filled and the options are great.

Food is good, but needed a little salt. No biggie. I love nopales, so yay, rarely see that on the menu! Mild salsa is not authentic and there are no fountain drinks or beer, but I got a Coke in a bottle so I was happy 😁 Prices were fair, we will be back! Air conditioner wasn't on, so is a little warm and stuffy.

First time here tonight. Thought me and my family could try it . I got the asada burrito and shared some asada fries. It was pretty good. Salsa bar was good variety and chips. Not bad. Definitely would be coming back another time to try something different.

The wife had the carne Asada a la parrilla and she enjoyed it very much. I had a classic burrito which had rice and beans and your choice of meat. I chose al pastor and it was very big. It was very good. The food had good flavor and the salsas were all very good. I gave it a three stars for the length of time it took for the food to be prepared. It was a busy hour, but it seemed the preparers were confused about the orders and the cashier had to make sure corrected orders were put out. Overall, the food was very good.

Tried this place due to all the positive reviews I read. I asked for no beans in my burrito bowl, and they still put in beans. I know the girl in the front wrote in "no beans," but I don't think the kitchen reads those orders. The burrito itself was dry. I wish the food had more flavor to it. It was just very bland.

Food is good. Customer service is trash. We've ordered her a lot, but I won't be ordering here again. I didn't have my confirmation number for my online order. Despite having my name, phone number and email from which I ordered it, they refused to look up my order. When I asked to speak with a manager, they said the manager wouldnt be on site for 2 more days. They're are too many restaurants with good customer service to give this place my money.

Lacks customer service and politeness , young lady was rude and told me I had to dine in to try the complimentary beans. I probably would have dined in if the environment was more welcoming, seems they don’t want to bring in new customers in like myself. Food not worth the price. Next time I’ll keep driving and wait until I’m in Perris to get some good Mexican food from food truck.

Server dropped a to go order. What was disturbing is instead of having integrity they all were looking at each other then around then each other then put put the food in the to go box. If they do this what else are they doing that's not to code. Good food though. Might have some extra flavor from the floor

I heard nothing but good things about this place, so I tried it out. I placed my order online and picked it up. Got home, and part of the order was missing. Went back and was told, "Yes, you did order those tacos, but you were not charged for them." They could have mentioned that when I picked up my order. So that sucked, go home, and the food was not that great. Asada taco and shrimp burrito were good. Cheese and chicken enchiladas were not great, and the bean and cheese burrito was terrible. What's extra crappy is the fact his place is close to where I live, and it would have been super convenient if it was good.

It's my first time in this Taco place, we where coming from Riverside, and we stop to eat, my wife, my youngest son and myself, we ask for Nachos, Carne asada fries, and and enchilada plate for my boy, my son plate was decent, but my Carne asada fries, and my wife birria nachos, where the worst plate I ever eat, no kidding, my plate was cover with white melted cheese, I couldn't eat my fries, they where totally cover, and my wife birria nachos, was no different, looks like they just trow a chunk of birria over it, they didn't try at least to shredded,we spent $56 dollars, we where expecting better. The place is clean, and the pineapple water was good, but the food, bad experience.
