My favorite taco Tuesday place

It's has the most fabulous and delicious hot Cheetos burrito fr. It also has an all gender restroom for costumers 😱😱 love the smell of this place and they give you ur order within 5-10 minutes instead of waiting 20 mins

Love the breakfast burrito with bacon. Add grilled onions and avocado and you will be all sorts of winning for the morning 😁 Also, I highly recommend the Mar y Tierra burrito cause it's so freakin good with the steak n shrimp!!!!!

To be honest with you today was the first time that I bought food from here, but let me tell you it's not going to be the last. I ordered the Chili Verde and it was off the hook, one of the best I've had thus far. I highly recommend this place because if they got the chili verde right then I'm almost positive the other food is just as good.

Hard shell tacos were amazing. My co worker had a carne asada burrito which he enjoyed also. It was like 11 bucks but was a big one..

Always good. Great food. Menu similar to Alberto's but it is better tasting. These cooks are much better than others. Portions are great, plates are hearty, and breakfast and specialty burritos are always well made. The menudo is petard well here. Tons of Mexican bottle and fountain drink options.

This place is definitely not like Alberto's it's better I can say this place is 24/7 for a reason 🤷 because it can afford to stay open all day long because people keep going I moved here in the area and this has been the go to spot for fast food Mexican food their adobada meat is good and their burritos are delicious. Their red salsa is the best one. Best place for Mexican food that you can get at a drive through guaranteed Rick approved Would recommend driving here even if Alberto's is closer to the fwy you wont regret driving a bit further in for better food and portion meat wise.

This place is on the corner of Jackson, and Magnolia is the best compared to all the others that look the same. The green salsa is so good.

The food is fresh and tasty especially the French fries. The Carne asada burrito was good with extra guacamole mixed in and gave me a new experience.

Food is so bomb. The rice is perfectly cooked and it's not dry or moist. The consistency is very precise! The beans are also flavorful and soft. I would recommend 11 and 21. They really know how to serve good portions too. It's a lot for 1 person !

Good Mexican restaurant, copycat of Alberto's, but done right. The menu even has hot cheeto burrito, and with 24hr drive thru it's available anytime you are.

We like the food and that's its drive thru. We also like the prices. A taco plate with rice and beans is $10.99. Two burrito plate with rice and beans is $20.99. The burritos are large, it's shareable.

Drove by at 1am and there was a line so I knew I had to stop by the drive thru. The carne asada breakfast burrito is one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely rate this place.

I LOVE their asada fries, they give you a pretty big portion of them as well. They are open 24 hours so it's my go to spot late at night. The guy with the bushy mustache is pretty cool too, always great customer service.

I ordered 2 crispy potato tacos. They were absolutely delicious, the corn tortillas were a golden brown not burnt, not rubbery and just crispy. Smothered in sour cream and topped with lettuce, diced tomatoes and crumbled cheese. Can't wait to go back to Los Fredos Mexican Restaurant.

Had a wonderful lunch today with my wife. It's authentic Mexican food and was absolutely fantastic! The portions are huge so, Bring your appetite. The employees were very nice and friendly.I highly recommend this to friends and family. Thanks for the awesome lunch Los Fredos!

Los fredos first time ever I went with an empty stomach so I was famish with the whole menu. I grab a machaca plate and had a great breakfast combo along with my coffee. Thank you los fredos for a great morning 🌅

I went twice this week. Both times I had a breakfast burrito. One was a bacon, eggs, potato, and cheese. The other time was carne asada instead of bacon. This is the only place open at 4:30 am, and I gotta say the breakfast burritos were delicious. My new go to place during the "early" hours! Open 24 hours!

We found this place by accident. The food is awesome and the employees are very friendly. It's one of our favorite places to go. Yes, it may be an older establishment, but the food here is delicious. Their chilaquiles are really good, but the sauce is super hot. I couldn't eat it. Wish the heat was a little less heat to be able to enjoy it. Must try.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I miss California Mexican food. Got into town last Monday night and we’ve been eating here almost every day. The taquitos, shredded beef tacos and chili rellenos are my favorite, and the breakfast burritos are a family favorite and are massive like 2 or 3 meals in one

The food was good for the price...my husband said he enjoyed his Carne asada burrito he couldn't finish it because it was so big...my plate was huge I didn't eat half the plate but the flavor I enjoyed I was to hungry to take pictures but it was our first time eating here and I'd recommend.

Food is always great just prices went way up and they need help in the take out service with their employees. Very friendly but just not sure on prices and also crazy % prices on credit, debit. Very sad they all have to raise prices to survive 🙏 in this messed up world. God bless us All....

First time here at 'Fredos' and I was not disappointed. The food was stupendous, outright tremendously good tasting. The carne asada burrito was my choice. It was huge and so expertly constructed and neatly folded and wrapped. The tasty meat, the sauces, cilantro and other spices made this one superb rolled flour tortilla treat. There are also many other menu choices at this exceptionally spotless, comfortable, relaxed Mexican restaurant. I also enjoyed an order of chips and salsa, so savory. The chicken torta is looking mighty good for my next visit here.

Fair warning. ⚠️ their drive through microphone and speaker suck, so u can't understand jack.. but the food is definitely worth the wait. 🔥 however the customer service leaves a bit to be wanted.. dose it hurt you to smile?

Food here is 5 stars for sure! -big portions -delicious -good quality ingredients Only negative is the little short lady working the window. Speaking with the microphone a few inches from your mouth and slowing down (you’re speaking into a speaker not face to face right) would improve the customers ability to hear you in the drive thru. Attitude when being informed respectfully is funny too but hey, the foods good and I wasn’t trying to catch some hair or spit so I sat quietly.

Good food served here. Clean & prompt service. Can & does get busy during meal times. Only negative is the rest room. Not the businesses fault. Humans r nasty. I believe the restroom starts clean because this business is clean. Homeless use this restroom???? I eat, will eat here in the future. Go powder my nose @ home. Easy fixs.

We were in search of a burrito that a friend brought to work from Riverside to Irvine. Tjis place ended up not being the one. However the place was very clean. The young lady that took our order was very sweet! I had a Carne Asada burrito unfortunately the asada was very dry, to the point of some of it was crispy. We also ordered a Machaca burrito that was very good.

Delicious food!! However, their service is spotty- sometimes great but sometimes close to a rude- almost hostile- vibe from order-taker/cashier that puzzles me. Why would a restaurant allow a person to be the face of their company if they are unable or unwilling to smile or even be minimally pleasant? I don't get it but the fact that I still eat there regularly is a testament to the deliciousness of their food! 🙂

This place is just ok but it’s open late. Don’t be afraid of the homeless because it is a rough area especially at night. The food is pretty good. They charge extra to use a card. Hot Cheetos burrito is what I like here. 4 stars overall.

I recently visited Los Fredos Mexican Food, and their carne asada fries are absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of my meal! Everything else was decent, but the carne asada fries truly stood out and made the visit worthwhile. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d definitely recommend trying the fries if you go!

Carne asada fries are BOMB!! Half size is huge. Food came out fast. Not a fan of the chicken tacos- way too much chicken without a lot of flavor, shells are mediocre. Would give 5 stars just for the fries though!

This place is alright for drive through Mexican food. We've been twice now and items seem to be hit and miss. We liked the rellenos, machaca burrito and chicken tostada but the fish taco was soggy and the shrimp taco came with only two shrimp (not a lot of flavor), I wouldn't seek this place out but it's nice it's open 24 hours for people who work night shift to have a option.

The food is pretty good, but the customer service could use some work. Often times I come through the drive thru and it really feels like I'm being a bother. I get thats its fast food, but at the same time, a little bit of courtesy goes a long way. So don't be surprised if the servers come off a little brash.

The food is great but this is the second time I've gone there and my debit card info was slipped. Once was in 2015 and I only used my debit card there that whole month. Then again just recently which like, it could've been anywhere but the fact when I checked my recent transactions on this card that this place came up rather upset me. Just gonna avoid it or door dash.

I bought the breakfast special as advertised $5.99 for 2 pancakes, eggs, and 2 sausage links. It looks better on the menu than it's presenting. The pancakes looked very burnt like they didn't clean the cooking surface, the eggs were overcooked and dry and flatlike, and the sausage links were chopped up in pieces. I didn't expect the sausage to be chopped up as it shows the links as 2 whole links on the menu. I don't know why they cut it up, but I guess you get what you pay for. I ordered 3 because I was taking to my cousin that had covid. I couldn't bring this to them, I was so embarrassed, so I ended up buying Del Taco for them. I ended up spending for 2 different breakfasts places and wasted my money at this place.

I got a burrito. The tortilla was not warm. The burrito did not have beans or rice. The pico de gallo in the burrito was a miss for me. Overall the burrito was ok.I'm a Mexican .Please stop catering to other people's idea of what a burrito is. Gracias

So just ordered supreme nachos are amazing however the chicken tacos tasted like the chicken came from a can. Staff very friendly and great just definitely need to change the chicken or cook it with a different recipe but that's on head of house not over night staff

This was my first time here. I ordered a burger combo with cheese, mustard, & ketchup only. I was told they didn't have any mustard because it's a Mexican restaurant. There was no cheese like I asked for and it would've been nice to have a hamburger to go with all the ketchup. It was ketchup overkill. The fries had very little salt. I doubt I'll come back here again. Price wasn't too bad: $14 and change for the combo.

Came here on 6/7/21 around 11 ordered Cali burrito with sour cream and guac like it should be, like the original SD Cali burrito anyways thanks for putting love in the burrito everything was perfect. Gone there many time over 20 years as Alberto's. This crew they have running this place at night, is a hot mess. About 5 days ago, my order was given to the car in front of me, and my order was made wrong, no big deal. Went again last night, same lady, misunderstood what I wanted, asked if we can get it changed and she said no. So I took the bag, paid for it because I was already in line for 30 min, and left. No personality either, felt like I was bothering her doing business. All good, wont be bothering you guys again.

They have the driest California burrito ever!! No sour cream or guacamole in it. Looked like they were skimping out on me. Dude at the window was sketchy and nervous to come up to the drive thru window for unknown reason and A burrito not worth $12 👎 3:30am right after a 10 hr graveyard shift and hungry as hell…. I was there late last night. I ordered the two beef tacos dinner, and a rice pudding, and the rice pudding was not included in my order. I called them today and told them I didn’t receive it and I have the receipt if they would like to see it, and they flat out told me that I should have called them yesterday if I wanted to replace it. I support small businesses, however, I feel this is not very good customer service, nor a smart way to conduct business in general, so I will not be going here again…

this is solely based on PRICE how the hell are they charging $12 for a burrito, they're not part of the minimum wage increase. I doubt they have more than 40 locations but shame on me for buying the food there I will caution the owner this strategy is not smart to try to act like the minimum wage for fast food. Restaurants affected your business when in reality it didn't and then just try to bump up prices for the sake of price gouging is gonna backfire. The only reason I went there was because of convenience but paying $12 for a burrito is inconvenient.

I actually REALLY LOVE this place, it's absolutely my favorite place for a burrito! I've been coming to this place for YEARS. BUT the only issue I've ever had is with 2 employees, one man and and one woman, usually working at late night hours. They are very racist against white people and make you feel dumb for ordering in english or will completely make your order wrong and blame you for it. I feel disrespected every time I come here at night. One of the workers, named Juan, constantly hits on me, has grabbed my hand while handing me food, has teased me, has made me and people I'm with feel extremely uncomfortable almost every single every time I come through the drive-thru. Do not come alone as a woman late night if you don't wanna be harassed by this man.

Ordered a burrito, made to order and hot and fresh. Drive thru cashier a little rude. Edit: Went again today (a couple months after my first review). Another cashier who was surly. These ladies who work the registers at this location must be family, because I find it hard to believe that an employer would be okay with customers being greeted with a "help you" in a rude tone of voice. I'll go to R Burgers instead from now on. Also, all their signage states OPEN 24 HOURS. But they're not open 24 hours. They are just too lazy to correct their signs.

Ive been going here for five years now. Always order the carne asada plate or Tostadas. This is the third time ive given the meat a chance this week. Ive tried to eat it but can’t and end up wasting $27 on 2 plates. The meat is over seasoned. Alot of squishy pieces and a chemical smell to it as im chewing. Idk if they changed the chef or meats but I Don’t think we will be returning here after all these years.

I went there Sunday night approximately 7:45 pm. The lady at the window is always disrespectful never getting the order incorrect.... She gets upset if I tell her on the intercom to repeat the order because it's not even very clear at the menu board. I tried to explain to her on the intercom that I wanted to no onions or cilantro in my double burrito combo meal. She didn't understand me so when I pulled up to the window I asked her the same and she was doing everything possible not to make me another set of burritos without the onion or cilantro. What is going on with this establishment… they have to have employee with more respect for the customer! It seem like everything was a bother to that woman, like she didn't want to be there! Never coming back!

Cashier was very rude. Asked for hot sauce, she said yes it's in the bag. I get home and take my food out and there is no hot sauce. You gotta be a real kind of lazy to not have to grab some hot sauce. Her customer service was very poor. Didn't feel welcomed to the place of business. Will never spend money there again.

⚠️ Loveeee the food. The Cali burrito is my all time fav… unfortunately I got food poisoning from it on 9/11/22 😔 probably will be a long time before I even consider eating here again. Edit: Since this ocurrance, I’ve had many gastroenterological problems. Turns out food poisoning can trigger IBS. I regret ever eating here, do not take food poisoning lightly!

There's an Alberto's barely a mile away that is so much better than this place, that I will never eat here again. They forget to add certain ingredients; multiple times I've ordered the taco and enchilada plate, I asked for no lettuce on just the enchilada, and I get a enchilada with no cheese or lettuce, same with the taco. Other times I've been, I order a carne asada burrito, and the meat is still pink in the middle. Carne asada should not be cooked medium. There's plenty of these spots around Riverside. No reason to go to this one

I placed an order for the shrimp combination plate and my Wife had the Congo burrito. Unfortunately, I accidentally said I wanted the number 22, which is the chili verde. However, I did say shrimp. "Smiley" as she's known between my Wife and I, did not clarify upon placing our order. When we got home 10 minutes later we noticed that my order was incorrect. I tried to eat it but, it was just too spicy so my Wife suggested we call in the error. "Smiley" answered and I explained the mishap and rather than offering a solution, she barked, "if you want a refund come and bring it in." So, we did. My Wife and I showed up with the food in tow and spoke to "Smiley" since she took our order and advised us to come in. Not only was she argumentative and condescending during the entire conversation, she reimbursed me for my plate and not my wife's very cold burrito. Not my problem she muttered. We. Were. LIVID! Now? My poor Wife is stuck with a cold burrito and no refund or replacement took place. We felt helpless and terribly angry. Never, EVER, had either of us been spoken to or handled this way in a restaurant establishment. Very unprofessional and crude to her customers.

First time here for lunch. Drive-thru lady wasn't too happy to be at work. "Can we have red and green sauce?" All green extremely spicy. You have been warned. And don't go with any special requests like no pico or tomato. They will put extra of what you DON'T want. Paid $75 for 2 bean and cheese burritos, 4 tacos, carne asada fries, and a side order of fries. No drinks. Way too expensive for bad attitudes, ignored requests, and okay food.

Maria took my order 2/6/2023 @ 1:37am. I asked for no pico de gallo on #8 she failed to add that to my order. When I asked for some lemon she only gave me 2 small slices so I asked if I can get a few more. She then had an attitude stepped back gave me a mean stare saying “Anything else?” She was extremely rude extremely unprofessional. She charged me $1 to get more lemon. I have video footage. I go to the location of van buren and have never had an issue. This is the 1 and only time I come to this location. I hope this business takes this seriously being that her role is also customer service yet she got loud and gave me attitude. I’d give this location a 0 if I could. My food was warm by the way not hot nor did it taste freshly made

So today after Bible study and having a long day at work, I decided to come to this restaurant. It’s very rare that I come here, but after today I won’t be going at all whoever was in the drive-through was so rude. I asked for quesadilla with green sauce and chicken and he straight I said no we don’t do that which is a which is a lie because I have got it like a lie because I know that I have ordered it like that before and then I asked him for tacos for taco Tuesday and he was rude straight. I just asked how many do you want and then I asked him questions about his taquitos how much are they his response? Do you want them? How many do you want and once again I asked him how much are they once again being rude do you want them? Yes or No! After that, I didn’t order any food from here I just drove away. Whoever was at the register tonight needs to get written up or get fired because he has zero customer service. Don’t get me wrong. I have worked in a restaurant as a customer service. Has a manager at Taco Bell. If I would’ve acted the way he acted today. My behind would’ve be written up because the way he act was not because he is representing the restaurant and what he represented today was a lack of customer service.
