Romana's Pizza

Fantastic local pizza and salads. Reliable and friendly service. We've been loyal to Romano's since they first opened and, as far as we're concerned, it's the best pizza in Palm Beach County. No fancy storefront and you'll understand where their priorities are when you first see your pie, let alone, taste it. Stupendous, delicious, old school pizza with soul.

We're in from out of state and were looking for something close and quick. Found this little gem. Best pizza I've had in a long time. The big chains don't have anything on this little neighborhood dive. Had a meatball parm and the Romana's pie and enjoyed both immensely. Perfect sauce to bread ratio on both. Chatted with what I assume is the owner. Nice man, very helpful.

One topping pizza, wings and a 2 L soda 30 bucks a little pricey but let’s see if it taste good The pizza was delicious It did have that New York style taste.The food arrived nice and hot the soda nice and cool.The wings were nice a spicy. they just need to be more wet. The only thing I did not like was that my driver was wearing the mask and proper. and I didn’t give him a receipt.. I don’t think I was supposed to pay fo $4.00 in taxes.,When the food came out to be $26.

This use to be one of my favorite spots. I believe they are under new management and a few things have changed. The grilled chicken salad was once a favorite of mine. Not sure how you can mess that up but it doesn't quite taste the same anymore. The pizza slices are very good as well as the calzones. The service could be better. The young lady that takes orders seems to be very short patienced and overwhelmed. I've even witnessed her get into an argument with another customer as I was dining in. I haven't been in a year and not sure I will return. Sorry to lose this place as a local option to eat at.

Ultimately if I'm ever on the island again and I'm hungry I'd order again. Otherwise I probably wouldn't visit the restaurant because the food was just okay.

We're staying on Singer for the week, so we ordered a pizza. It arrived hot, NO BURNT BOTTOM which is huge. It means they keep their ovens CLEAN! I don't understand all the bad reviews, and luckily read them AFTER we ordered. LOL I will say we had added sausage on the pizza that we didn't ask for, so that was odd, but we like sausage so we had no problem with it. It takes awhile to arrive if you get delivery, but like I said, it was hot and tasted really good.

Don't sleep on this hole in the wall. May not be much to look at, but the pies and slices are very reasonably priced and really good. No disgusting grease all over the place. Would recommend a try.

Pizza is ok, slightly above average for Florida pizza standards. Don't even bother getting the wings. $5.00 will get you 5 of the tiniest wing drummettes in history. Not enough to feed a bird.

Pizza is decent. Better than some.. but could definitely be better.. cheap on toppings and prices aren't great. Prices have increased but quality has decreased. Person on phone is rude and told me to "take care of the driver".

HORRIBLE customer service. I’ve ordered 4 times at the pizzeria and NEVER had the horrible service i had today. First of all, I ordered a small “the works” pizza and a crispy chicken WRAP with no tomatoes and no onions. The driver came , brought the correct pizza but didnt bring the correct WRAP. Instead they brought a sandwich FILLED with lettuce. So I called the restaurant and the gentlemen said they would send the driver back and we can exchange the sandwich for my WRAP. Then the DRIVER calls YELLING stating he was NOT going to bring me my wrap and I would have to wait til monday to get what I asked for. I told him that was unacceptable because I was just told I will be getting the wrap since I didnt ask for the sandwich and that was THEIR mess up. So he said he wasnt driving here and HUNG UP on my face. So I called back and asked what the problem was with my order because whoever I spoke to had zero customer service. He told me that because “theyre busy” they Wouldnt be sending the driver to me. I told them thats not an excuse, I asked for a WRAP and it was a mess up on THEIR end not mine. He said theyre not gonna send the driver because my address is “too far” which i never heard because the very FIRST time I ordered from this place I MADE SURE with the lady that they could deliver here. Afterwards the gentlemen said “I cant do nothing to help you sorry” and hung up in my face. Thats 2 times having someone hang up on me. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. So I called back and asked whoever picked up for the managers name and he told me his name was JOHN . So JOHN if youre reading this, I wanted to let you know that your food is great the first 3 times i ordered. This time however was completely unprofessional and lack of customer service. On the last note I called back again this time with my manager next to me and ALI answered and hes the only one there with GREAT customer service. He apologized a lot and fixed my order and said he would send the driver to me to bring my wrap that I asked for. Hes probably the only one that was understanding and actually helped me and DIDNT hang up in my face. So a big thank you to Ali and thank you Anthony and John for hiring ONE great employee.

Extremely over priced for low quality 17 for a small pizza and 25 for a large Dominos is way cheaper in my opinion tatste better even little ceasers would be a better choice I recommend taking a trip to nicos if you want good NYC pizza for a great price

I was a regular customer. I ordered at least once a week for either home or office. I called this morning to tell them that, yet again, my sandwich was made wrong. The guy said pretty much yea so ? I told him I wouldn.t be calling any more and he pretty much said, yea so ? No way to treat a recurring customer, not at their prices.

Horrible service. I ordered on an app around 7:29pm. Said the pizza will be delivered no later than 8:29pm. I got an notification that the pizza was delivered at 8:10pm. It was not. I even checked my cameras to see if it was delivered to a neighbor. It wasn't. So I called the apps customer service. I was told to please wait 15 mins, to which I did. Still nothing. Then I called again, they offered a 30% off and to please wait another 15 mins. After waiting for over an hour and twenty mins, I got a TEXT saying that I was "out of delivery range" they are legit a whole FOUR MINUTES away from me. Absolutely the worst experience, and I will never order from that pizza joint again.

I returned the pizza as it was burnt. They offered to remake it as long as I sent them the original one in tact. That’s exactly what I did. I called to place another order and they called me back to say they refused to deliver to me because of my complaint! This is poor business! Lack of customer service! When asked for rationale, the response was an abrupt hang up- followed by a dial tone. As a customer, I am highly disappointed.

This place is old and run down. Was charged $50 for one cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, and an order of 20 wings. Lots of other places to go to in the area, pick somewhere else.

I'm a Riviera Beach native and have been going here since I was in middle school. I won't be going back again. Ordered a Meat Lover's stromboli with no ham. Got home, cut it, realized it was only sausage. We called to get the order replaced and was told he can't replace the stromboli but could put uncooked pepperoni on the side. Told him that doesn't make sense because it's a stromboli and all the toppings go inside. He said "I'll figure it out." We told him we'll bring it back for a refund. He told us he couldn't do it because he wasn't taught (lie, he's been working there for at least ten years). We had to threaten calling the police (he refused to give a refund - that's theft) and the health department (he was going to take the order back into the kitchen after we cut it which isn't safe food practice) to get him remake the order.

I truly cant say anything nice about this place. I don't know how the county does not close this nasty dump of a place down. Ordered 2 slices of pizza and it was at best a 4 out of 10. The individual..I cant even say lady cause she was so unmannerly. The skinny old lady with purple or red hair. A customer called and after she took his order...she screamed out that she hates dumb customers that dont know exactly what they want and take for ever long. I was sitting there and while I did not hear the convo, I did not think the call was a long one. She could keep that to herself. Not cool to have customers while waiting for their orders to hear that dumb talk. She was so rude with zero manners. She must own the place with the dude in the back. I dont get how people even go to this place. So dirty. Anyway I ordered something that was $8. Not sure how she charged $9. Cause the $1 diff does not add up to what FL sales tax is... save yourself and find another place.

First of all the place was absolutely filthy. I cannot believe the health department has not shut it down. Second no soap in the bathroom. Not so horrible for me but it tells me the employees don't wash their hands and they're making pizzas. The pizza was not good at all. Cross was not good toppings were week. The staff it was working there was very unfriendly. Almost rude it first but did get a little bit better by the time I left. No place to sit me really. One small table one large table with a few chairs around them. I also going to be honest with you just about 8 hours later I started to feel bad but I did not get sick. However 24 hours later I had to scoot bootin boogies. Which would be about the right time for it to be the pizza. 8 hours it's in your stomach. 24 it's heading south. So it must not have been really really bad but it did make me sick. I highly suggest you don't even walk in this place. Absolutely amazed the health department hasn't shut it down.

Good luck ordering through Door Dash. Order was late and they state that they were trying to contact us. We did not receive one call. Turns out driver showed up with multiple orders for our hotel and very late for us.

Poor customer service!!! Placed a pickup order, picked it up to only find out as i was already headed south and to far to turn around that the chicken ceasar wrap was burned to hell. Called in and the gentleman said the next time in he'd square me up on a replacement order.. Went in the following week to get squared away and he played dumb as if he didn't remember or know me and said it wasn't him.. Sad, he's the main person cooking and answering the phone and refuse to square up on the order.. Will never go there again.. Plus the place was filthy.. not a very clean establishment..

We live on Singer Island and have been very pleased with the pizza here for 25 years. That is until now. We had always ordered 2 pizzas on Tuesday night for years but recently the owner fired his son who was the main cook!. The father also fired the girl who takes the orders?. Now the food sucks...pizza is now soggy with hardly any pepperoni on it!. We have made a change since the pizza is no longer the best in the area. It's such a shame since the owners son had such a skill with making a awesome pizza. My advice is stay away!. ☹

I ordered food for lunch from here which is about 5/7 mins from my job. I didn't get my food until an hour and a half later COLD cause he's the owner/cook and the delivery person. Owner went back and forth and stated he wasn't paying for it. I guess he thought about it he called me and said he would bring me fresh food only to return with the same cold pizza and re dipped fries. And the pizza wasn't even good.

I wish I can put 0 stars. I was at peanut island trying to order pizza. Never got my pizza. I called the store to ask how I can get a hold of the person that delivers. They said keep calling. I called them again to let them know I can’t get a hold of anyone and the person over the phone literally yelled at me and hung up on me. I don’t understand why they are so rude

I think he was drunk when he told me this because today I picked up 30 mild buffalo wings and they were harder than NBA Young Boy. They were fried so hard I damn near broke my tooth on one when I bit into it. I asked for mild and they tasted like they were flavored with oil only. I called to complain but all the guy offer me was $5 off my next order. There will be no next order because I eat cardboard before I eat another wing from this place. I had anxiety when I walked into the place because it was not clean at all. The pizza I ordered was ok. Even though the crust was college rule notebook paper thin. Came back to edit my review and this is the next day. I woke up to diarrhea worse than a designer dog after eating table scraps. I wanted to post pictures of the diabolical buffalo wings but there is no option for it. When I talk to the cook he told me that they over cook the chicken because they had complaints that their chicken aren't cooked long enough. Suffering from buyers remorse right now. I wouldnt recommend their food to anyone. I'm pretty sure these wings were marinating in laxative before frying.
