2.24.23 Updated pics with new menu prices. Still love this place! Baja Flatbread, Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Tap Salad are great recs too! We came to kill some time before a movie at the Cinemark and so glad we did. We tried the Brisket Tacos and the Poblano Chicken Tacos. Both were so flavorful and tastier then most taco only places I’ve tried recently. Also, the Poblano Chicken Tacos were mild so don’t let the name fool you, but you can always ask for the sauce on the side, like I did, if you want to play it safe. Love that the menu and cocktails had calorie information. And our waiter was super helpful and attentive too. 5 ⭐️!

Service was great, food was delicious. Tater tots are obviously made from scratch. Try the Orchard Ham and Cheese, sounds weird but it's really good! Don't bother with the brussel sprouts though..not great.

Such a great atmosphere! Not many vegan options, but I got vegetarian nachos and they were delicious. They went a little heavy on the cheese but otherwise very tasty. Nice waiter. If you like beer, and like great pub food from a scratch kitchen. The brass tap is your place. Emma was a great server with good suggestions and attentive. Chicken tenders were huge and hot. Cheese curds were excellent. Beer was awesome and there is something for every palate. Highly recommend.

Huge selection of craft beer. Wine for those of you who do that. Mixed drinks that will make your mouth water. Broad menu of classic bar food but turned up to 10! Great burgers, delicious tacos, best fish and chips in Roanoke! Oh my! Great new menu items! Brisket grilled cheese, sweet potato waffle fries, guac burger!!! Yum!

The service was great. Prices are great and so is the food. The burger and fries is nothing to write home about but everything else rocked. Totally would recommend to friends and family.

I got the wings and for the first time Ever this place would not let me get all drums. The other location on 121 has no problem with that. The new flavor, Brown Sugar Bourbon, had NO flavor. I had to get a side of the regular sauce to add flavor to my meal. The beer, that they had, was good. They were out of 2 beers that we would normally get. Not really understanding how a place with "Tap" in their name doesn't have the beers on the drink menu. We will be back someday to see if things improve.

Visited on a Friday at open—we were the only people there for the entirety of our meal. Bartender was very friendly and quick. We shared the chicken tenders (wanted tots, but ended up with fries even though only saw waffle fries and tots). Chicken tenders were piping hot and fresh but not special. Fries were well seasoned. Great selection of beers to choose from, Paloma drink was just ok. Music was great choice. Nothing special worth returning to.

Chicago Rockhouse

Yikes, tap ipa’s were terrible. Happy hour Cauliflower was definitely frozen, bottom of the bag crumbs crap. Only good beer was from a can. Does anyone go here? All those taps and zero customers means you get old crappy wet sock tasting beer… whoever owns this place really needs to care, just a little. Turn it around, you’re better than that.

Affinity Adventures

Would not recommend the chicken sandwich. Unless you just like a sandwich that is mostly bread and notelse to it. Remember the old Wendy's commercials. "Where's the Beef?" This sandwich makes you ask, Where's the chicken?? 🐔 The server was apathetic and sluggish. He mostly stood at the bar talking to the bartender and sipping his drink instead of checking on us or refilling any of our drinks. Music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation.

Came in at 6pm for an impromptu date night after work. There were two tables and about 7 people at the bar… for a Friday at 6pm I would consider that almost dead… We were not greeted, it was quiet- we sat ourselves. There were three waitresses, one was standing not helping anyone by the waiter station the other two didn’t notice or help us for over 10 min. It wasn’t until two other parties walked in that one of the waitresses made her way over and set down menus- didn’t ask us for a drink order or apologize for the wait. We ended up leaving because if it took that long to be noticed, I didn’t want to know what the wait would be like for the food or drinks. So disappointed in the lack of awareness and customer service of the waitstaff.
