I love KING CHEF Chinese food restaurant! I’ve been coming to this spot for over 20 years. The food is ALWAYS top quality. I know this because drive all over the county and NOBODY touches these guys when it comes to Chinese food. I definitely recommend KING CHEF!!!!

This was my first visit. Larger takeout spot. There wasn't any special service or treatment, but I loved the open doors, open kitchen and a view of everyone working hard. Response was direct and quick. The food was cooked well and all three of my toddlers ate the beef, lo mein and all the veggies included. Not too salty or soggy. Thank you for the good food.

Best lunch special I've had in a while! My regular Chinese Spot is closed on Tuesdays so I called King Chef instead. It was $15 for the meal, delivery and a little over 20% tip. Delivery didn't take long at all. I got the honey garlic chicken with the sauce on the side, so the chicken was nice and crunchy, pork fried rice was delicious, it was all still piping hot and somehow the Pepsi was still ice cold. Honorable mentions: The portion was huge and the girl on the phone was extremely helpful and patient. Honestly this is exactly what I needed. They exceeded my expectations and definitely have themselves a new regular!

Excellent sweet and sour pork, steamed dumplings, kung po chicken and beef chow ho fun. Only criticism is that dumpling sauce and chow fun are very soy forward. Added ginger and sesame oil would help

Been getting take out from them for a while as I live really close by. Always consistent with the quality and flavor!!! My fave is the young white fried rice! They use plenty of eggs and the portions are as advertised. Egg foo young is on point as well!

It was perfect! the packaging of the food sooo clean and organized! The egg rolls were absolutely delicious ( hands down my favorite) we also took fried pork with garlic sauce and orange chicken sooo good ! And the service was great they were so nice 👍🏻

BEST takeout in all of Planation. They serve authentic New York style Chinese food and they have the best customer service. HIGHLY recommend everyone to try their General Tso Chicken, Dumplings, Shrimp and Broccoli, Bourbon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and their Wonton Soup.

I love the Singapore noodles from this place but I got the chicken bourbon the other day and did not like it. The crab rangoons and the spring rolls are always solid as well we'll have to try other dishes.

The sweet and sour chicken were ordered yesterday was OK flavor wise and texture but it was definitely too greasy. It had soaked up too much oil, which was disappointing because the chicken itself was tender. A solid 7/10 with steamed rice and sauce. The sauce was also too runny. Chicken egg foo young and gravy was delicious: 10/10. Staff super friendly. Our pick up order was ready ahead of schedule .

We live near enough to be able to take the food away and it be hot enough to eat without reheating. We ordered Chow Mein, sweet and sour shrimp with white rice and an extra Roast Pork fried rice, 2 eggrolls and Mixed eggdrop wonton. The order came to about $54. The food was very good and hot. The only thing is, and we only noticed this when we got home the fried rice was missing, although we had been charged for it. If we had received the full order I would have given it a good 4 stars, because the food was good. We will be going again, but of course we will be checking the order before leaving.

First time. Food just wasn’t good. Lo mein noodles were so dark (almost black) that it surprised me when I opened the container. I love lo mein and have never had a portion so bad I couldn’t finish it until today. Tasted like oil. The honey garlic wing didn’t taste like there was any garlic. They had a strong ginger taste. The General tso’s were weird too. They were all the same size, like all little tiny nugget size like they were frozen store bought. Event tasted freezer burnt and not fresh. They were very chewy also. Didn’t taste any general tso’s I’ve ever eaten and not in a good way. I guess a positive would be the portions are really big but we won’t be finishing them so

Tried this restaurant 3-4 times and have become very disappointed. Ribs overcooked and chewy, egg foo young, undercooked and totally inedible.

so sad that door dash deliveries now take precedence over people that actually get up and out, and walk into a takeout place to pick up food. This used to be our goto place for takeout, since we live next door. Never had to wait long before. We even called ahead. So they had a good ten minutes before we even got there. I waited in lobby for 15 minutes, and finally had to ask how much longer for my order? The guy said “maybe 5 minutes”. but no indication of my order being prepared. Instead, a huge box of food being prepared, which I knew could not possibly be ours, and was told it was a doordash order. I cancelled my order, and will not be back. I’m sure they will be ok with supporting doordash over walk in customers. Thanks for that. Will not be back.
