Always love this place! They've been there for years and years and are still a great quality restaurant and good food. Well rounded menu too. Very very busy on the weekend (for good reason) so it can get loud during busy times. If you are able to go at non peak periods then take a table at the back by the windows because it's always nice to watch the squirrels and chipmunks from the tables along the back windows!

I take my grandsons to eat lunch after fishing. It is one of favorites. Good food and friendly staff.

Food is fantastic here, this is my favorite local breakfast place. The portions are very generous, service is very quick (which is saying a lot because this place gets busy!). I really enjoy the large windows towards the back with a view of several bird feeders.

Went here for breakfast very early. Great classic diner food, very kind server, good prices. Got a great breakfast for $12. Only complaint is the coffee was below average, but everything else was wonderful. What stuck out to me was my perfect over easy eggs. It’s surprising difficult to get over easy eggs, almost without fail I order them and they come with a completely set yolk. Here, they were perfect, runny yolk. Can’t recommend enough!

This is definitely the place to go for all day breakfast - it seems to be what everyone else was getting around noon on a Saturday. It's a wonderfully old-school kind of diner and has a lovely view out the back into the trees. I was craving restaurant-level chicken fingers, and while these weren't my favorite, they were HUGE, and the real thing - no frozen patties here. They were a touch tough, and just far too much for one person. I tried both honey mustard and BBQ sauce and much preferred the BBQ here. The fries are AMAZING, kind of a beer-batter style, and I liked them a bit better than the chicken itself. You get two sides with an entree and my second was some grilled green beans, which I really enjoyed. I was a solo diner that day and was able to squeeze into the last spot at the counter, but it was nice and I chatted a bit with the people on one side. The servers are fantastic - just overall a very friendly place. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here when I'm back in town.

Great food at a great price, i had the triple bypass! (3) 1/2 lb. patties, (9) slices of bacon, (6) slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and pickles on the side and fries

We sat by the windows and really enjoyed watching the squirrels, chipmunks, and birds eating along with us. The food was great, too. And the staff were very kind and friendly.

Had batter dipped Cod and homemade onion rings, other party had prime rib and mashed potatoes, and both were delicious we just love this Tip Top Diner and you will too!

Tip Top is one of our favorite local diners! The staff are friendly and efficient. Our favorite seat is by the windows watching the birds at the bird feeders. We had the grilled chicken salad and the Country Fried steak. Both delicious! The fries have a nice crunchy coating that is so different than other restaurants.

If you've read this far WHY HAVEN'T YOU LEFT YET?!? JUST GO! Good luck on saving room for dessert, which is a shame because they have a great pie and dessert selection too. GO!

Absolutely phenomenal! Tip Top in Stow is hands-down one of the best hidden gems in Northeast Ohio. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and buzzing with energy. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is super clean, cozy, and has that classic neighborhood tavern feel with a modern twist. The back of the restaurant and patio offer beautiful and relaxing views of the creek and ravine that runs through Adell Durbin Park. The prices are also incredibly fair for the quality and portion sizes. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, Tip Top treats you like family. This place deserves all the love (and 5 stars)! Highly recommend!

I really enjoy this retro-style restaurant. The space feels cozy with a dark, rich atmosphere, even with the big windows. Those windows look out to the woods and bird feeders, which adds a relaxing touch while you eat. Prices are fair, portions are large, and the food always hits the spot. It can get busy and there may be a wait, but it’s worth it for the good food and the unique nostalgic charm.

Normally I don't do reviews for a salad and soup lunch, however this place is worth mentioning. So Clean, so clean. I was here before the dinner rush and after lunch. They were cleaning the chair legs and benches! The bathroom was immaculate! The food I ordered probably did not do the place justice, come check it out for yourself. The clam chowder was very yummy in the picture I took. The view is the window seat:) The birds were awesome to watch.

Everything I have had there has been amazing! The staff really cares about what they do. They go above and beyond to make you feel more like family then just a customer. My favorite meal is the chicken tenders, macaroni salad and calico baked beans. But they serve everything all day long so sometimes pancakes in the evening is my other go to! An excellent restaurant overall, with fast and kind service, good food and all at a great price too! Came here with a party of 6 at 9 am on a Sunday and was seated immediately. We all ordered an array of food, and for the price it can't be beat! I was very impressed at the amount of food that came in the mexican skillet I ordered. And to top it all off they have a massive wall of windows that overlooks the park! And they have added bird feeders too. Overall awesome small Cafe vibe.

I have passed by this place for years, but I never find myself near it when I needed to eat breakfast. Today I went a little out of my way to circle back here and I would like to say that it was worth the trip. They offer a nice variety of breakfast items including GRITS and Sausage Gravy. Everything was plated in a nice fashion and flavorful. I will go here again and I recommend that you stop passing this place. Ask for a window seat so that you can see the view of Tip-Top Falls. A hidden jewel next to a hidden jewel.

The double cheeseburger with fries sounds simple, but is truly mind blowing!! Two 1/3 pound patties loaded up with veggies with probably a pound more of fries. It’s a lot to eat for a reasonable price. Our server was also very friendly, and sitting next to the window there’s a nice view of birds, chipmunks, and squirrels running around like a live action Bambi.

The food was good and hot, very clean atmosphere as well as the the servers and hostess appearance their hair was well groomed and tidy as well as their uniforms.The hostess was wonderful and very helpful. The only issue I had was with the young gentleman that waited on us today. He kept referring to us as you guys you guys. He did ask us how our food was and offered us to-go containers. However he never removed any of our plates from the table after we were done eating. However I love the bird feeders and the bird houses outside the window.

Great local mom and pop joint that has a wide variety of menu items from breakfast lunch and dinner! Everything I've tried has been tasty and satisfying. Today I got the Bulldog breakfast, an ode to the local school football team and it was a little over 10$. A huge amount of food with 3 eggs, choice if meat(I chose bacon😍) hashbrowns (which were almost a combination of a creamy potato pancake and shredded hash) toast, and a biscuit smothered in sausage gravy! Definitely a little bit if everything and I recommend a stop here if you have a hankering for a tasty Diner meal.

This is a great restaurant with charm from the past. I had high hopes for having an outstanding meal, but unfortunately my food was kind of average. I ordered the beer-battered cod, which is tasty as almost any place I eat, but it was lacking in flavor. The onion rings were also bland. The salad was fine but nothing spectacular. My wife shared the fish, but she had the same opinion. Someone else in our party had a Reuben which they liked. I had a taste of their chili, and it was excellent, as was the macaroni and cheese. The service was very good. The prices were reasonable. I was disappointed in my selection, but I would go back to try more options. The menu looked very enticing.

I had breakfast here for the first time yesterday. It might have just been an off day for the cook, but my breakfast was cold and my poached eggs were undercooked. I ordered the flourentine Eggs Benedict. It came with a side of shredded hash browns. The hash browns were soggy, cold and full of a butter/margarine substance. The poached eggs in my dish were so undercooked that the yolk was surrounded by a glob of uncooked egg white. The service was good, but the food was unpleasant.

Very disappointed. My husband got the sausage skillet and called it a soupy salty mess. My dtr got the Mexican skillet and we ended up throwing it away. I got the fried chicken and it was way too salty…and I love salt. The best thing was my daughter’s French toast. They forgot my baked potato, my husband’s biscuits, my daughter’s toast, and butter and syrup. My husband called and the gal said she was sorry and that he could drive up to get a baked potato. We didn’t drive back. Honestly I wouldn’t be complaining except the food was so bad.

I cannot think of a worse restaurant in northeast ohio. wasted $65 on the worst dinner ever. better off eating mcdonald's or burger king. The staff was amazing,but food was not. I'd suggest that they cut up some potatoes with green peppers and onions instead of hash browns that were over fried and gross. The biscuits were flat and gravy sucked. My poached eggs weren't edible. The prices were too high as well.

Okay to start, my date and I went here last month and when we were sat there were quite a few people waiting for their food (probably a staffing issue in kitchen) when the server took our order, she charged my date for an extra egg when he only requested for the egg on his sandwich to be well done. I ordered the stuffed French toast but got the stuffed pancakes, no big deal I like both but the pancake on the bottom was burnt, when I was trying to cut through my stack there was difficulty lol so I flipped the pancake over and it was dark like chocolate…I didn’t tell the server but I also did NOT finish my food, the breakfast was also expensive considering flurry’s is cheaper and has better homemade pancakes. I will say on a positive note, the view to the outside was nice. To sum it up we were disappointed and I’m not sure how people are still eating here.

I understand that EVERYTHING is going up in price.....but.....damn..... $15-$16 for a plate of canned corned beef hash and a couple scrambled eggs? It's one thing to turn a profit.....it's one thing to run a business.... It's quite another to be greedy.....

I haven't been here in over 25 years....now I know why I never went back. The people were nice & friendly, don't get me wrong, but what we paid for 2 people to eat was just ludicrous! 2 omelets($35), 1 (yes, just 1) pancake($5), 1 biscuit with gravy($10) & 2 drinks cost over $60!!! The omelets were rubber...Idk what kind of "eggs" y'all are using, but they're garbage. The gravy on our 1 lonely biscuit had so much sage in it, it tasted moldy & the pancake tasted like onions. Who wants an onion & maple flavored pancake?!? We should've just went to Molly Brown's like we'd planned, but thought, hey, we havent been there in a long time let's check it out. Now I regret every second of that decision. 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ Makes sense now why there was no one in there under 50 years old (besides us).

Wife & I ate breakfast at stow Ohio location. Wife ordered the French Toast, it came out so soggy she couldn't eat it. I got the Classic Breakfast, eggs look like they gave me the scraps. Hash Browns were so greasy. Didn't see the waitress for 10 minutes. When, she showed up with bill we complained. Said nothing & walked away. Wanted a drink refill but, she was to busy talking to another waitress. Thought she would take wife's meal off bill, but did nothing. Not very happy with service & the food.

They were very short staffed! The cheese sticks were not cooked properly- the marinara was hotter than the cheese stick! The eggs from the western omelette looked fake and plastic or they must of been skimping and saving money and used one egg- very thin egg and not good at all! The hash browns seemed boiled not even crispy at all! Not good food at all! Only thing was the waitress was very nice .
