Really good waiter for such a busy Father's Day. I always get the beef ribs and they are always great. My daughter likes to mix the kids cheese pizza with fresh watermelon. The brisket sandwich is pretty good and you can find fried okra there which is cool.

I had a great time here! I stopped by while driving between states and I told my waitress (I forget her name sadly) that I had had a long day and she was amazing the entire time! I ordered a combo that came with brisket, ribs, mashed potatoes and mac. Honestly the mac and cheese was not my favorite but every other dish I had was absolutely delicious, even their beignets and biscuits. I will definitely be coming again

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que delivered on flavor, comfort, and service. We ordered a variety of meats and each one melted in our mouths—tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. The biscuits with apple butter were light, fluffy, and packed with sweet, buttery goodness. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, and Lucille’s signature onion straws were perfect for sharing and added a crispy touch to the meal. I ordered a seasonal old fashioned that didn’t hit the mark for me, and the staff had no issue switching it out for a regular one served neat. That kind of service says a lot—they were smiling, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance was just right, not too loud and not too quiet, making it easy to enjoy the meal and conversation. There is plenty of parking available, and they also offer a dedicated to-go pick-up area which makes it easy for takeout if you’re on the move. We’ll definitely be back again. We had an amazing experience at Lucille’s! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Elizabeth, our server, was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. She seated us quickly, offered great recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of throughout our visit. The food came out fast and tasted fantastic—flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. My family and I had Thanksgiving at Lucille's and it was delicious! Smoked Turkey and ham with all of the trimmings. I normally cook for the family and this year I decided we're going out to eat. Lucille's was a delicious choice. They offer bbq ribs and such too. Whatever you choose, the food is delicious!

Our visit started out rocky. We had a reservation for a booth and checked in early. Our time came and went and we did not get seated. We saw people who had reservations after us get seated in a booth. We checked with the desk and apparently we had not been checked in correctly. We were obviously a bit perturbed but they said they would expedite our seating. We were shortly seated in a quiet booth area and Corrinne, the manager, took amazing care of us. She not only fixed the issue she went above and beyond. She was so kind. We had a lovely dinner and it turned into a great dining experience. And of course the food was delicious! Thank you so much Corrinne!!!

The food was very good and the service was as well. The smell of bbq in this place is just great. Great spot for lunch, easy in and out. Although they can be very busy, the place is rather large and they get you in and out quickly if you need to get going.

First time trying Lucille’s BBQ and it didn’t disappoint! Awesome service with awesome food! The biscuits with apple butter was delicious! I tried a TRI TIP SALAD WHICH COMES WITH Slow-smoked tri tip, hand-carved to order and served on a bed of mixed field greens with tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, red and yellow peppers, and avocado, tossed in our tomato vinaigrette dressing. I would totally recommend 💯

I got the pulled pork, sliced brisket, and chicken and oh my goodness it was absolutely perfect. The mac and cheese is my favorite side so far. We had amazing service and even though the place was jam packed our food came quickly. I love the laid back atmosphere, and most definitely the home made lemonade. The biscuits were incredible too.

Recently took family and friends for an early dinner, 12 of us. We were sat quickly by the young hostess and then waited on by Taylor. Taylor was by far the best waitress we've ever had. She was full of humor, attentive and overall a great employee to your business. Super Feast was great too.

I had the baby back ribs with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. All of which were extremely yummy. My fiance had the beef ribs with mash potatoes and mac n cheese. Which he also loved. The staff were nice and it was very clean. The watermelon and strawberry lemonade is really refreshing as well. This will be our going out special spot for bbq I think for a long time to come.

The 2 meat lunch with baby back ribs & brisket was just enough to satisfy me without feeling stuffed. I had the BBQ beans which combined with deviled eggs & fried pickles appetizer hit the spot!

This barbecue spot Roclin delivered one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a long time. The smoked brisket had a gentle richness that melted without effort, and the ribs balanced tenderness with a clean, wood-fired aroma. The staff were sincere and welcoming, turning a casual visit into something that felt unusually personal. A warm, grouding dining experience.

The food was great. I had ribs, brisket, mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes and a biscuit. The butter for the biscuit was unique and tasty. We sat at the bar, our server and bartender was Sophie, she was top notch.

The food was good, I ordered a chicken salad and my husband a rack of ribs. The salad was a little disappointing only because it was an iceberg bag mix that they added to. My husband loved the ribs. Most importantly, our server was Phenomenal really so good that we asked to talk to the manager so they knew how awesome he was. Never once did we need to track him down for anything, and this was on Father's Day at lunch when they were super busy.

never been there before. went cause I saw a facebook ad about it. has entry ramp for the disabled. access to bathroom-doorway was a tight squeeze with a walker. staff very friendly, took the time to explain menu and specials to me. dennis-manger-came to my table to ask how things were going-very polite and caring. I sat at a table and loved that chairs slid smoothly on the tile floor making comfort/positioning easy. I was there for a late lunch. got their monday rib special w/2 sides-garlic mased and fries, and lemonade. price a bit high for a lunch but ribs themselves are pricy. 1/2 rack-6 bones of ribs, soft. 3 kinds of sauce on the table to cover it with. garlic mashed were okay but not what I was accustomed to and kind of a small portion. good portioning on the fries made up for that :) lemonade was a little strong for my taste, i just added a little water. I ate 1/2 and got a box for the rest. it was a long morning for me before lunch. the waitress brought my bill- no hurry she said with a genuine smile and placed it the side. she came right back with a fresh warm wrung out towel, "for help getting all the sticky sauce off". another pleasant smile. I wish there were someone assigned to help with all the doors. and i would suggest more napkins or the warm wet towel brought at tge beginning of my saucy meal. I would recommend eating their. next time I am in the area I'll try a different menu item.

My hubby and I decided to give this place a try. And it was fantastic. There is plenty of regular and handicap parking. Out front there was a gentleman playing sort of bluesy type music. We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered. The building and decor are exceptionally cute . All the dishes in the photos I included were fantastic. They start you off with complimentary biscuits and apple butter My hubby had pulled pork, a jalepeno cheddar sausage and bar b que beans. I had a house salad , the drippin' buffalo chicken nuggets and Mac n cheese. I also had the watermelon iced tea ( which is a watermelon version of a Long Island iced tea ) Our waitress was very friendly and very helpful. At the end of the meal they bring you a warm damp face towel which felt so good. That was definitely a bonus. They also have a little machine on your table so you dont have to actually wait for your check. You can pay straight from your table. Other amenities are another room is like a sports bar. Just a couple of TVs but it was a big room . They also have a huge patio area but it is enclosed but with all windows. They have a nice waiting area if you ordered food and are waiting to pick up. They have a doggie patio also which I thought was realky nice. For all of these reasons I definitely give Lucilles Smokehouse Bar B Que 5 out of 5 stars. Mrs Smiley :)

The Real Deal is Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que delivers on outstanding bbq and amazing bbq style environment to dine. Let’s start off the service which I’ve been here a bunch most every time the servers are really friendly, amazing knowledge about the menu, and quick service. All smiles on the service. The atmosphere has some amazing old fashion vibe, old wall art that could take a day to look through it all, and many dining options. There is indoor and outdoor seating options. A full bar, booths, tables and different styles of dining like a patio seating but inside or other backyard style patio outdoors. I will take more pictures next of the inside and out and update you. Now onto the Grand Event: the Food!! BBQ is amazing but some of it can be hit and miss and you need to factor smoking process which takes a long time so some meats are freshly done and amazing and others maybe coming from the warmer. I will update with a ton of pictures over my next several visits. Definitely one of best bbq places around. Must try and must have!! Cheers!!!

Wow! We ordered a full rack rib plate with beans, fries and potato salad and everything was delicious, but the REAL star was the banana pudding. 10/10 recommend this place but 15/10 recommend the banana pudding. The vanilla wafer crumble somehow stayed crunchy the next day when I had left overs. Split with my husband and STILL had a massive amount of left overs for lunch the next day. Now I’m excited to try this place in person if the food was this good delivered. *photo of left overs*

BBQ done right! Now I've always been skeptical of big chain restaurants, but they seem to have the recipe down. Now it's not all perfect, such as the burnt ends can be super fatty and not pleasant to eat, unless you're into that. The good is the brisket and the tritips. Which is super soft and falls apart in your mouth. They have three house BBQ sauce that's on every table which I recommend them all! Their appe butter biscuits are amazing! The ambiance reminds me of hanging out in someone's backyard in the south! Love it.

Every time I come here the place is busy so I truly must say something. The wait time was exactly what they indicated to me. Spent a little time in the bar so the time was well spent. The wide variety of menu choices made it easy or perhaps more difficult to choose what to get but we got the standard ribs macaroni and cheese and other items.. but celebrating my birthday here was a different treat, especially when you getting older and you don't need people singing to you it was a little embarrassing but I love the free dessert..

Food was great! We had a promo code to buy an entree get an entree free. The waitress had us talk with management because the promo is when you get 2 drinks (non-alcoholic). She said we had to purchase 2 alcoholic beverages to get the promo. After talking with management he said they would honor it. After that our waitress seemed short with us. She was nice when she served our food though. At the end of the meal she brought the check and announced loud, Your check was $100 something and now its $69.00, it was a little awkward having out bill announced to all other tables around. So good! Didn't have to wait for a table. They allowed plate sharing. Only reason they're getting 4 stars instead of 5 is that the main course came out almost instantly after the appetizer and we barely even had time to eat the apps. Poor timing but everything else was great. We even saw them cleaning tables - immaculate practices with flashlights, wiping down everything down to the salt shakers.

My family loves coming to this place for dinner. The food is pretty good overall, we had a couple of mishaps with our order but the staff resolved the issues! The ribs were perfectly cooked!

This is a restaurant we go to often. Each time we go I try something new. This visit I ordered the BBQ Tri Tip with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. As always a great meal and great service.

Good BBQ and good atmosphere. We got the special (dinner for 2) and it was MORE than enough. Lots of appetizers to choose from and good drink selection. Portion size is over the top, and the dessert was excellent. Not the best BBQ I've had, but we'll be back I'm sure.

This place is so aesthetically pleasing. There is artwork all over. The amount of tables feel endless. They don't overcrowd and cramp people together which I appreciate. There is inside seating, outside seating, and an inside/outdoor seating area. Great music. It does get loud in there so if you are hoping to have a nice quiet dinner, this is not the place for that. Great for large parties and small parties. The food was delicious. I love the tri tip and the burnt ends. The pulled pork has good flavor but I prefer it cooked in bbq sauce instead of adding it after. They have a nice variety of bbq flavors with different levels of spice. Try the watermelon lemonade if you get a chance. It's very very sweet but so tasty. I let the ice melt in it so it can dilute it a bit. Because its so sweet the ice melting gives different levels of good until the last sip! Huge parking area but it's often full!

It was a nice option to dine late as other places were empty or with no customers. Food was simple and felt as if I had grabbed to go food on a plate. Meat was on the drier side. Chimichurri was a no, no. Just a bunch of oil with some little pieces of parsley (95% oil). The building is very nice, with lots of decorations, but the quality of the food was not up to that level

Very good service, but the late lunch was not as good as the dinner of the past. Everything was just not quote as moist and flavorful as dinner service. But, the people are great and that always helps a lot.

Excellent BBQ, and generally a good experience. BUT, when we ordered the three meat meal for two (60.00), the sides were very small. Garlic mashed potatoes couldn't have been more than 8 oz. total for two - one very small scoop each. Also, the peach cobbler was more like a dough cobbler, with just a few tiny peach pieces inside. Service was excellent though.

I won't say it's the best bbq place but a decent place to enjoy bbq in Roseville. Always love their biscuits and honey apple butter.

Very delicious! Would I go there again? Absolutely! But I would probably get some things slightly different next time... Here's the breakdown no one asked for 😁: Baby back ribs: + there was more meat than bone!!! which is amazing in and of itself (width-wise) + very addicting and difficult to put down! *^* + excellent flavor - tender, but not melt-in-your-mouth tender - barbecue sauce exterior was burnt/charred and hard/tough (could be a style? just not what I personally prefer) Brisket and Tri Tip: + EXCELLENT flavor! + super tender!!! I honestly don't know for sure which was which because they placed them in the same row, but I'd assume the tri tip was the one on the (upper) left, and the brisket was the upper right. The biggest difference was that the (assumed) brisket was tender, but the (assumed) tri tip was even more so, being TRULY melt-in-your-mouth tender 💕 Garlic Mashed Potatoes (side dish, lower left): + great texture and taste - I was missing more of an actual garlic flavor to it "Vegetable medley" (side dish, upper left): - was just green beans with some sweet peppers, not what I was expecting and didn't end up eating anything more than a bite of - not even that great of green beans... 😒 Biscuits with Apple Butter + best biscuits I've ever had in my entire life + so sweet! and the apple butter went so well with the biscuits and both were just the perfect amount of sweet 💕 + apple butter is a whipped butter, which is not what I was expecting buuuttt oh so good! and easier to spread on those deliciously crumbly and flaky biscuits 😋💕 Barbecue sauce: - actually was not a big fan of this very strong flavor of barbecue sauce, too... vinegar-y? for me. I can't entirely pinpoint exactly what the flavor punch is, but I personally like more smokey or sweet barbecue sauce Banana pudding: + creamy, smooth, light, and sweet 😍 + love that they added banana slices and the Nilla wafers! (as one should for a good traditional banana pudding! 😆 ) • was lighter than I was expecting? I guess I'm used to a bit denser of a pudding, but although I was surprised, I loved it • was missing just a tad bit more of a banana flavor to the actual pudding itself, but I honestly hope they don't change their pudding recipe at all because I loved it and I'd definitely get it again, and I could always add some more banana slices myself if I'm get takeout again next time, hihi 😋 I loved almost everything and the things I loved were sooooo good! so I'm tempted to give this experience a 5-stat review, but I had to knock it down for the toughness of the outside of the ribs, and that "vegetable medley" 😂 [mostly because of the ribs though, lol. I take my ribs very seriously. 😤 Especially when this meal cost me close to $50 ($46-something)...]

We love this place! The food and drinks are soooooo good. The service is great 9 out of 10 times! We arrived during happy hour so the 40 min wait was spent taking full advantage of happy hour, back porch lemonade is my personal fav! They have patio dinning where you can bring your fur babies! The A/C is on full blast inside the restaurant so make sure you bring a coat. The portions are always a good size for the price and the biscuits/apple butter is always the best way to start your meal.

We used to go here all the time. The last couple years we eat here much less. I had a nice lunch with a friend today. We both had sandwiches. Food was good but i was reminded why we stopped coming. They dropped several menu items my wife and I liked such as burnt ends, side salads and baked potatoes. It might sound strange but I like my dinners with both. Having a lunch sandwich is fine but dinner without those items isn't. Also, they have raised their prices a lot. A sandwich with one side is now over 20 with tip.

Went to check out this restaurant, as i love smoked / barbecue foods. I ordered the fried pickles, love fried piclkle chips, these are spears, they came nice and hot with 2 types of dip and they were good but I still think chips are better. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich (I think it was called the Kentucky hot chicken sandwich. With fries, the chicken was good especially with the dip it came with. The fries.... well they were ok but I don't think I'll be ordering them again

We went for a holiday party. We had a group of 20. The server, Gina, was patient, thoughtful, and filled with grace. She was an amazing help to all of us. To a person, she was awesome. The food was great, and the portions are huge. There was such Joy among our group, and Gina certainly added to it as well. This is our second year coming for our holiday dinner, I'm pretty sure we'll be back for years to come.

Lucille's is a nice family establishment. The place has lots of room so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of one another. It also had a small bar to order spirits if that's what you are into. The sitting are is decorated with nostalgic pieces which sets a relaxing atmosphere. Now the reason everyone comes here... The BBQ! I had the Pick 2 Combo. My choices...Rib Tips, Burnt Ends, Mac & Cheese, and Coleslaw. Presentation was on point. My mouth was salivating when the server presented me with my selection. But I have to admit. I was a little disappointed after that. First the Rib Tip. At first glance you can notice a little bit of a smoke ring on the Tips. But that's where the flavor actually stops. There was no flavor other than a small hint of smoke. That led me to try their 3 in house BBQ sauces. I tried their Original. A hint of sweet. But not much to offer. Then their Memphis. This one had some tang to it. More of a vinegar base. Then their Hot & Spicy. Well, let's just say, I'm not sure why they call it that. There was nothing hot or spicy about this sauce. I guess if you compare it to their Original. It does have some spice that hits afterwards, but nothing more. Nonetheless, I went with a mixture of all three. That in my opinion put the Tips on another level. Now the Burnt Ends! Hats off to the grill master. Well done! With sauce, without sauce, I loved every bite. The outside were crisp yet the insides were moist and tender. The crispness on the outside led to the flavor being just right. With the "Burnt" not being over powering. I say again... great job! The sides. I'm not going to speak too much on the sides as I would find it hard to believe they were made in house. Both the Mac & Cheese and Coleslaw tasted no different from any other BBQ or Steak house spot. We have all had them before. Lucille's did nothing different to make these sides standout. With all that being said. Lucille's is a nice place to take your family and dust off your BBQ itch. The portion sizes are good. And the pricing is respectable. This place will be on my BBQ restaurant rotation.

we've been to lucille's a few times now, and it's such a great place for big parties and special moment celebrations! for starters, we were a party of 4, and had a reservation. let's breakdown our dining experience: SEATING lots of seating, even in the bar. if you don't have a reservation, and the wait is long -- consider sitting in the bar! lots of open tables and the bar staff were great! FOOD the folks that got bbq in my group LOVED their food. the brisket was fantastic, chicken wasn't dry, and their sides were amazing. i should've known, coming to a bbq place, that getting grilled salmon was probably not going to be the move and should've stuck with my gut! it was a little fishy, overcooked, and needed more flavor (the sauce was on the bottom of the fish for some reason?). the street corn was also a major let down. it said it had cilantro lime butter on it but mine tasted like corn on the cob with cotija sprinkled on it. it kinda stinks when you have to add your own salt and pepper to food that should ordinarily be flavorful :( also a major bummer that you're paying extra for a "premium" side *womp womp*. however, the biscuits and apple butter served with the meal are AMAZING. there’s a little crystallized sugar on the top, and it pairs so perfectly with the biscuit.. dreaming of those as i type this out. SERVICE Todd was our server, and took great care of us despite being busy with his other tables! the staff were all so friendly from the hostess to the bussers. a great team overall! ATMOSPHERE it is really so cool inside. the decode is so great and eclectic. it's always packed and busy. the music is great, and it really is such a great place for people of all ages; parties big and small! lucille's does a great job creating such a great space for people to enjoy! PARKING tonnnns of parking in the lot in front of the restaurant and a secondary lot adjacent. we were grateful to park far away for how full our bellies were after our meal! overall, will be back -- hoping for a little more flavor to my meal next time :)

The service was top-notch. Our waitress was so attentive and friendly. She made our lunch date an amazing experience. The food was okay. Was a little disappointed that the tri tip was overcooked and small portions for the price. The bbq chicken and brisket were great. The onion straws were amazing, too. They have a great selection of whiskey and other drinks as well.

Lucille’s Smokehouse offers solid service but falls short on flavor. The brisket nachos lacked punch and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was disappointingly mild despite its name. It was really just your average chicken sandwich. While the staff was friendly and attentive, the food didn't live up to expectations. The menu seemed promising, but the execution left something to be desired. It's an okay spot for a casual meal, but for those seeking bold flavors and true spice, it may not hit the mark. Overall, a decent experience, but improvements in flavor intensity would make a big difference.

The pork has a weird taste. It's not bad but definitely not what I expected paying $15 for. The Mac and cheese on the other hand is pretty bad. I wouldn't be surprised if into their kitchen and it was Kraft boxes on the shelf. All and all I'm glad I tried it but I will not be coming back...

1st Timers. Food is tasty. However, portions are VERY SMALL. My husband ordered the 2 Meat Dinner Entree and I ordered the Fried Chicken + 2 drinks. Hubby was still hungry after. Overall paid $95 before tip. Friendly service. Wouldn't recommend nor be coming back, based on price and portions.

It's a cute place with lots of seating. The menu was hard to figure out when it came to getting one protein/meat option. There's plenty of options for multiple meats in their combos. I ordered the pork belly burnt ends (it comes with a slice of bread and pickles, which seems weird to me) and macaroni & cheese. The pork was good, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the macaroni (it tasted processed or something). For what I paid for the pork, I wish it came with more value (food that paired well with it, and I could actually eat). I also got some drinks: the Texas Goes Tiki and Cucumber Watermelon Martini, which were good, but the candied pineapple was not edible, in my opinion. Service was slow at the bar, even though hardly anyone else was sitting there, but the rest of the restaurant was pretty busy. The bartender was friendly, though. It wasn't a memorable experience, but I'd like to come back and try out more things, then update this review.

Who slices a brisket along the grain? Lucille’s does. There was a decent bark but flavorless. The meat was not very tender. This was my third or fourth visit and I have been unimpressed every visit. I will not return. I picked a fine time to leave you, Lucille.

I have not had Lucille's in months since the last three times I visited were such complete poor quality fiascoes. From our experience today, I am guessing that corporate FINALLY came in and thankfully reset the cooking to original quality. Bravo new head chef! Food quality and customer service had been continuously slipping for years. We ordered Lucille's BBQ today via DoorDash. The Dasher was on time and left all requested items at the door. Nothing seemed eaten or tampered with. However, Lucille's could definitely use some tamperproof seals on their bags, containers, and drinks like other restaurants. The original lemonade was good. Unfortunately there was no option to order it without ice to get my money's worth on the lemonade. The drink size has definitely sadly shrunk, and was maybe a medium drink. Not too much ice thankfully. The correct number of included biscuits was provided. A good amount of apple butter was provided with our order of extra biscuits. About 90% of the biscuits were properly cooked golden brown on the outside and completely cooked on the inside. The biscuits were not too hard or soft and properly made. This is a great improvement over my previous Lucille's biscuit experiences. The mac & cheese was nice and thick as I have seen it, sort of medium thick. There finally was a good amount of cheese throughout the mac & cheese, not just on top like many, many times before. The beef brisket sandwich finally had a full quantity of properly vertically sliced and properly portioned and cooked meat on it. This time, ALL of it was good edible meat, unlike previous experiences where there was a lot of connective tissue and fat. This is a HUGE improvement over my last three experiences. The meat was finally crisp on the ends and fully cooked and firm. Best BBQ job so far. One small container of mop sauce was provided, not quite enough to compensate for the proper dryness of the sandwich though. Unfortunately, NO extra BBQ sauces were selectable or provided. In my opinion at least two mop sauces and two regular BBQ sauce containers should be provided with each order for a better moist sandwich experience. The sandwich was the best I have had since this location opened over 15 years ago. Unfortunately, NO moist towelettes were provided. NO napkins were provided either! Definitely an overall improvement, but still some improvement needed. I am encouraged enough to try Lucille's again in few weeks via DoorDash. We will see if they stay consistent or go up and down like before.

For a $90 meal this was a bit disappointing, we did the meal for two you get to pick an appetizer, three meats, two sides & dessert at the end. Onion tanglers for the appetizer were ok.... the meats were all good we did the pulled pork, brisket & jalapeño cheddar sausage. We used to go to Lucille's before covid, and it was always on point. Talked our friends into going last night, and everyone said their food was gross. Mine was ok, but it wasn't as good as before either. We spent a lot of money and got nasty food. We are all really disappointed, and some of us felt sick and was on the toilet all night. I have to say tho... Barbara, our server was fantastic! And the fried green tomatoes were really good. Salmon was gross, corn tasted like it was dirty, pulled pork was mushy like it was dredged in its own fat right before sending it out. 2/3 of the kids didn't like their food. I'm in shock. 💔 😓

People who gave this place 5 stars have no idea what good BBQ is. The biscuits and apple butter were good. I had the brisket and pork belly burnt ends. The pork belly was really good but the brisket was disappointing. It was tough and not that moist. I also had the mac and cheese which was pretty bland. It’s nice that they give you a warm towel at the end, but overall nowhere close to a 5 star rating. I will admit that the service was good. The problem is that this is CA and CA is not really known for their BBQ, like the south is. This place is way overrated.

The atmosphere has definitely changed since Covid … and so has the food unfortunately. We ordered the burnt ends as an appetizer with jalapeños. The jalapeños were ice cold and the burnt ends were even warm to cold. The chicken entrée tasted like it was from yesterday, dry to the bone. The bartender was awesome service. Would not recommend this place any longer unfortunately. We decided to go back one more time on December 6, 2023. Michelle, the bartender was awesome. The food is still mediocre and please save your money when it comes to the cracked deviled eggs. I don’t think this place will be open very much longer, especially from the men’s bathroom degrading.

The food was good but not great. The buns were not strong enough to hold the pulled pork and chicken. We had to eat the sandwich with a fork. The Mac and cheese had great presentation but the noodles were over cooked and needed a little flavor. Was it a sauce pre bagged? A dash of fresh nutmeg and I’ll bring out the cheese flavor.

Haven't been back in a 2 years but man has the quality of food fell off! Had the feast for 2. Brisket was as rubber as a bike tire totally nasty was old not fresh at all! 1/10 The ribs were a good 6 out of 10. BBQ chicken was probably the best thing on the plate 7/10........For $70 bux this was a total rip....FAMOUS DAVES blows this place out the atmosphere.. We placed an online order via Lucille’s website, not third-party. We ordered the gumbo under the section “large party takeout”. The website states it fits 4 to 6. Besides being the runniest gumbo I’ve ever had,I’m not sure in what world it would have fed six people. It barely fed four. It was extraordinarily salty and as I mentioned before so runny that it was really soup not gumbo. So what I ordered was a $50 soup,expecting a dinner meal. Also, the “large party” takeout came with two biscuits. To be fair it did not state the number of biscuits, but it said biscuits and apple butter included, so it’s not a stretch to assume there would be at least four. Deeply disappointed.

I drove from Sacramento to get some brisket. The meal was simply awful. The brisket was full of fat and I asked to have it sent back. 3 small slices that were cut wrong and the replacement slices were just as bad as the first. Anyone that knows BBQ knows that brisket is sliced against the grain of the meat or it can be tough and chewey. This meat was a complete waste of my money and time. The Mac and cheese might just as well come from a Swansons TV dinner. I will not go back and waste my hard earned money on such poor BBQ.

It sucks to do this because I really do love the food here. I make a point of going in whenever I am in town. But they have to address this issue of serving crap cuts and the worst racks to their carry out/delivery customers. Multiple times its happened to me. Multiple times I've complained about it. Hell my step father ordered 200 dollars worth of bbq and they did it to him. I know they wouldn't serve these cuts in the restaurant because I've eaten there enough to notice the SEVERE differences. I ordered a rack of baby back ribs to go with me as I fly off to go back to work in Florida. Was there at the exact time I was told it would be ready, opened the box to check and guess what? Dried out ribs with barely enough meat of them to make them worth eating. It was the final straw. Management either needs to be made aware of this or be called out on the practice. If yall aren't willing to serve it to folk that are in the restaurant and can tell you its bs. Don't serve it to folk paying the same or even more just because they aren't there to argue with you about it.

The service was the only good thing here. Ive never made a review but this was the worst bqq experience we've ever had. Ivl used to come here a lot years ago but ownership or something must have changed because it was always consistently decent bbq... The burnt ends weren't burnt ends at all...they were unedible grissel peices you couldnt chew. The brisket was dryer and tougher than a chuck steak (it honestly felt and tasted like it microwaved) the ribs the best part and were sub par at best. I wont be coming back again after what we ate and how expensive it was.

I had a waiter Named Joshua serve me the worst Quality of food I’ve ever had at A Lucille’s Bbq. I don’t know if the dude was a Racist or what cause Me and my Wife are an interracial Couple she told me he kept giving me dirty looks as the cash register was right behind our table. The first MAJOR COMPLAINT I HAD WAS THAT HE SERVED US ROCK HARD BISCUITS I HAD TO CALL THE RESTAURANT MANAGER OVER TO SHOW A CLEAR DEMONSTRATION ON ME CRACKING THIS BREAD LIKE A HARD BOIL EGG. SECONDLY I HAD ORDERED THE BEEF RIBS AS I DO NOT EAT PORK AND WHEN I TELL YOU THESE RIBS WERE DRY AND NOTHING BUT BONE ON THEM I LITERALLY FELT LIKE I WAS EATING TENDON NO MEAT AT ALL. Lucille’s Do better please.
