Ratings based on industry and competition. Magnificent fast food tacos. Bean burrito is always a winner. I’ve watched the guy making beans several times. Staff is always great even when the customers aren’t. Tea is always fresh. NOTE: if you’re ordering for takeout- you can get the nachos with everything on the side. So every thing stays crunchy.

One of my favourite things about Texas. The tostadas are great and they have a delicious hot sauce. The spicy bean burritos are good too; they have delicious refried beans and their flour tortillas are soft and tasty. Prices have gone up in recent years, but still hits the spot every time. The Rockwall location is great, avoid the one in Garland though—they are stingy with the cheese and lettuce.

This was my first visit to Taco Casa. I ordered in the drive thru, and my service was fast and friendly. My order was also correct, which is becoming a bonus with fast food establishments. The ingredients definitely felt fresher than some other taco chains. The tomatoes seemed a little old and mushy, but I'm sure they'll be better next time. Overall I was pleased with my experience. The Super Taco is good sized, and had a great shell on it. I did add the included Hot Sauce packets, which I felt added a lot to the taco. The Chilada was quite flavorful. I enjoyed the red sauce quite a bit, and the cheese didn't seem overly processed. I could do without the black olives on it, but that's just personal preference. My wife ordered the Super Nachos. They were packaged with all ingredients separate, so that we could combine them on our own. This was a surprise, but not an unwelcome one. The chips were much thicker than I'm used to, and reminded me of gas station chips & cheese. Now, I'm not necessarily saying that is a bad thing, but it's good to know what to expect going in. My favorite item was the Casa Delites. Fried tortilla covered in cinnamon/sugar. Delicious. I did add a drizzle of honey to mine to give a sopapilla flair, which I felt added greatly to the experience. I would go again.

One evening, a little bit before closing time, I came to the Rockwall, TX Taco Casa for a late, dine-in dinner. It wasn't crowded so service was prompt and seating plentiful. I ordered 2 Super Tacos and 2 Super Burritos, with water for my meal. I provided my name, as requested by the order taker, and when the order was ready, all food and drink was picked up at the counter after they called the name out. I didn't see a soft drink fountain, but maybe I just missed it. The corn taco shells were crunchy and fresh, the ingredients of ground beef, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes were also fresh and in general the food was fairly good. The Super Burritos were warm throughout with good fresh flour tortillas that held together, as the Burritos were consumed. I also added packaged taco sauce to each item before eating. All in all, my meal was tasty and satisfying. I'll probably return. Update: MY Significant Other and I again came to Taco Casa for a take home dinner. The tacos and burritos were very good! Freshly prepared warm and ready to consume. I'll be back!

Employees are super nice and it’s Always yummy! But tell me please why everytime I’ve come the past 3-6 months my burritos are leaking and messily thrown together, and there’s sauce all over the wrapper? They can't substitute anything even when it's a simple request but that's nothing compared to how bad their beef tastes. The beans are fine but the beef is awful. Also, their advertising isn't great or accurate.

Went thru drive thru it took 20 minutes for 5 cars to go thru. Long line. Then when I ordered the young man said, "pardon " I asked him if he got my order and he said no and asked me to repeat it. He said a small Dr. Pepper and a bean burrito was 8.48. Bean burrito are 2.87...so when I got up to the window I asked how was a bill 8.48. They said I ordered 2 bean burritos but I didn't. He wasn't listening. When the girl asked him to correct it...he was not happy...he was very aggressive. Sigh....

This location was not being well run when I ate lunch there on Sunday, August 25 at about 2 pm. The manager on duty was unnecessarily loud. I told the cashier my order was for here (dine in) twice, yet he still put "take out" on the receipt. I reminded him again and he told the people putting orders together the order was for here and used my name to let them know which order. Yet they put it in a huge bag for two items and just walked away. Couldn't get anyone's attention to get a tray. Just an incredible waste of supplies for two items. The picture shows how much waste there was for a tostada and burrito. Plus the dining room was dirty, it looked like a couple tables were wiped down with a filthy towel. Only saving grace was that the food was pretty good. I should have gone to the nearby Whataburger instead.

Ordered through the drive-through. Asked for no cheese and no lettuce on 2 soft tacos, my son is allergic to dairy. Received 2 tacos with the cheese and lettuce put on and "wiped off" traces of cheese (and lettuce) on both tacos. Would be pursuing a lawsuit had I not checked my food (after getting home) if my son had consumed and had a terrible reaction. Y'all need to fix your attention to detail and start over if you mess up on an order that asks to omit ingredients. You could kill someone.

Once I find hair in my food, my review is automatically going to be a 1 star. This long black hair was weaved throughout my taco. Yes, accidents happen, but this is truly disgusting. This is a FOOD establishment and there’s no room for sanitation error. This is a biological hazard. EVERYONE needs to be wearing hairnets because clearly pulling your hair back or no hairnets isn’t cutting it. I looked at other reviews and it seems like this place could use some work in other places too. I hope they took all the reviews into consideration.

I had no expectations for a Taco Casa to be a bad choice...I was HORRIBLY WRONG! This location has everything wrong, slow service, employees in the kitchen clowing around during dinner service, even visible from the drive through! Ok, it does have large windows...the cheese sauce was burned, burritoes inedible, chips were stale and disgusting...Why??? This is a super busy location!!! Poor management on site...I have been to a dozen locations, expectations for this one, shattered...beware of food choices in Rockwall!!
