Una garanzia ogni volta che ritorno a Roma. Piatti buonissimi e location ancora più bella dopo il rinnovo. Menzione speciale per il flan di carciofi.
Locale molto accogliente ed elegante. Arredamento curato e intimo, soprattutto i tavoli con i divanetti. Servizio veloce e personale gentile. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Buonissima gli antipasti e anche la carbonara, molto buona e non troppo pesante. Ci tornerei :)
Un'esperienza. Locale al centro di Testaccio, interni curatissimi e un'atmosfera straordinaria Abbiamo ordinato diversi tipi di antipasto. Tra questi spiccano la burrata con il gazpacho e il polpo con patate. Poi bucatini all'amatriciana. Sembrava di essere tornati ad Amatrice, sul corso. Ottimo semifreddo allo zabaione. Prezzo nella norma Consigliatissimo!!

In compagnia di sei amici, uno dei quali frequenta il locale da innumerevoli anni, ci ritroviamo in questa graziosa e storica osteria del Testaccio, ristrutturata con una nota elegante ma sempre familiare, per assaggiare la cucina della tradizione romana, con qualche rivisitazione e un occhio rivolto anche alla presentazione del cibo. Numerosi i piatti provati e condivisi, tutti deliziosi e particolari non solo per gli accostamenti intriganti: cannelloni farciti con spuma di baccalà mantecato, spiedini di mozzarella in carrozza, sformatino di carciofi, tartare di manzo con funghi cardoncelli e bruschette con moscardini ed alice. Accompagnati da tre ottime bottiglie di Sauvignon Vulcaia (Az. Inama) non potevamo esimerci dalla tradizionale e intramontabile carbonara con mezzo rigatone, non disdegnando però lo spaghettone ajo, ojo, peperoncino, gambero rosso e lime (una vera leccornia) oppure il fantastico pacchero polipo e ragù. Sarebbe bastato arrivare fin qui per essere sazi al punto giusto, ma si sa una chiacchiera tira l’altra e quindi ci siamo ritrovati a mangiare con soddisfazione “scarpetta docet” dei gustosi cubetti di manza brasati con pomodorini confit. Chiusura d’obbligo con caffè e amari, tra cui segnalo la presenza del 100 erbe Ballor. Servizio veloce ed informale, conto onesto per il rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Osteria-Ristorante davvero molto curato, a Testaccio. I primi sono mozzafiato: in particolare i “mezzi Rigatoni alla Carbonara” e i “Pici alla Gricia con carciofi”. La “Cicoria”, a mio parere, da provare almeno una volta a Roma. Anche il “Baccalà alla Puttanesca” aveva un sughetto che era davvero la morte sua. Come dolce, la “Sfoglia di Mele” calda accompagnata da una pallina di gelato alla cannella, assolutamente consigliato. Bagni puliti e moderni. Atmosfera abbastanza formale. Personale nulla di particolare. Il locale apre alle 20, non un minuto prima. Nel complesso, consiglio di farci un salto!
Cena per due, dopo opportuna prenotazione. Abbiamo preso due primi, una carbonara e una cacio e pepe, entrambi piatti veramente ottimi e gustosi. Per finire tortino con cuore caldo al cioccolato e sfoglia di mele con gelato alla cannella. Buono il tortino e il gelato alla cannella, un po’ deludente la sfoglia di mele, non all’altezza dei primi piatti e l’unica nota stonata in una ottima cena perché dura e molto bar-style. Si poteva fare meglio. Non la riprenderei assolutamente. Un posto dove comunque tornare per saggiare meglio i restanti piatti.

Diamo cinque stelle perché di più non si può dare! Avevamo prenotato un tavolo presso questo locale via sito web (cosa che apprezzo molto in quanto veloce e comodo). Abbiamo preso le polpette alla romana (deliziose) e un filetto alla danese con funghi porcini (cottura media perfetta). Abbiamo assaggiato anche una millefoglie “scomposta” con ricotta, cioccolato e pistacchio, davvero davvero indescrivibile. Complimenti e spero di tornarci presto!
Un menú molto ricco, in cui sono presenti alcuni piatti dal marchio registrato. Il servizio non é velocissimo, ma la qualità del cibo é al top. Ci é capitato di incontrare un paio di attori italiani famosi e di per se, il locale mostra uno stile classico e antico. A pochi passi da una zona ztl verso il centro, quindi consiglio di parcheggiare e proseguire a piedi.
Invogliati dall’app di Mino, decidiamo di provare questo ristorante con cucina tipica romana. È stato un ottimo pranzo, tutto buonissimo e personale cortese. Super consigliato
Siamo sempre stati bene, ma nell’ultimo anno la cucina è cresciuta di qualità e consapevolezza. Ottime proposte ed un servizio informale ma attento. Rigatoni con la Pajata superlativi e star consigliata pasta e patate !!! Gli amici a 4 zampe sono molto amati, ma si consiglia sempre di preavvisare perché pur essendo i tavoli ben distanziati è un ambiente unico e noi che amiamo gli animali sappiamo che non è sempre facile farli andare tutti in accordo.
Una domenica piacevole, ho mangiato molto bene, piatti gustosi. Atmosfera rilassante e accogliente per godersi un pranzo senza fretta. Lo consiglio.
Consigliato da amici, questa osteria ci ha regalato un pranzo autentico. Zona testaccio, attenzione e cordialità ne fanno una vera chicca. Potete trovare piatti della tradizione anche rivisitati e di qualità ! Grazie ragazzi, sicuramente tappa fissa quando passeremo di lì.
Locale dove vale assolutamente la pena andare a pranzo o cena, tutto veramente ottimo, unica nota amara, visto che si chiama pure Osteria Degli Amici riguarda i Titolari almeno uno dei due, evidentemente fanno i simpaticoni solo con persone famose? non una parola non un sorriso, noi si era un gruppetto di persone trovate appunto in onore all'amicizia, quindi si ok si mangia bene, ma l'atmosfera dovrebbe essere altrettanto importante. Mentre la Sig.ra che ci ha servito si è rivelata molto ma molto simpatica. Buona vita
Antipasti were super good. We also loved their pasta with gambero rosso and grigia with carciofi. They have also a wide range of good wines. Definitely worth a visit (I hope it doesn't become the tourist center but someone has to see this!!)🤗🤗

If you want both great good, friendly staff and a good price, this is the place. I have been going there for years every Friday lunch with a friend and have never been disappointed.
Amazing food throughout the evening! Loved every course and the drinks were amazing. The only thing I personally did not like from this place was the Tiramisu. Everything else was perfect.

A nice neighborhood Osteria where the locals spend a pleasant Wednesday evening. Good food, not too noisy, just the right Roman vibe to feel like a local who likes good, local fare. The menu is in Italian and English because this is Rome. Not much mid -Atlantic here, just honest Italian, that we love.
We were exploring the local area and hadn't decided where to eat lunch, but when we walked past Osteria degli Amici it looked clean and tidy so we decided to eat there. What a great decision that was! Truly excellent Italian food with great ingredients and a fantastic combination of tradition and imagination. The antipasti were tremendously good, and the pasta dishes we ordered - cacio e pepe and pici with artichokes, guanciale and pecorino - were possibly the best pasta we've had in one week in Rome. Desserts were also excellent, both the pistachio semifreddo and the tiramisú. It is insane that for food of this quality, plus two glasses of wine, we only paid around €70. Also kudos to the waitress who spoke great English and was always quick and happy to help us, but also let us eat in peace without checking on us every few minutes. Truly great service on top of the excellent food!
We've been in Italy for just over a month now and we eat out twice a day. This has got to be my fave meal so far. The aesthetic was spot on and the wait staff were friendly. The music was so appropriate for the contemporary feel of the restaurant. Each dish had a slight twist to its traditional predecessor and all six dishes were so well presented and tasted amazing. Cannot fault this place. Highly recommended.
Excellent food, excellent cocktails, excellent service. Had a great time with the family at the restaurant. They were the only ones that were nice to accommodate us on a holiday weekend. The service was very professional, very nice, and the food was amazing. They also have a great selection of cocktails and wine. The deserts were great too, especially nonna’s cookies - and we’re people that usually do not like sweet. The location is a little far from the touristy center, but it’s worth the short trip to eat at a more local restaurant.
Many have already focused on the taste of the food, so I’ll focus on the lovely service and atmosphere at this far-from-the- crowd gem. The owner Claudio shared that the restaurant was renovated in 2022/3. The mid-century modern forward design makes for a warm and intimate atmosphere. Every architectural detail, from the century-old tiles to the elegant tables captivated me. And of course, the food was high quality, tasty, and great value. Come for a long dinner - enjoy the food; enjoy the ambiance; and ask Claudio about his journey from Philly to Rome.
A lovely little osteria catering to a mostly local crowd, the service is always friendly and the food impeccable! What I like about this place is that the menu is smaller and the dishes - while classics - show a bit of creativity and personality. All the pastas are great and the main courses are good too - the lamb was super moist and flavorful. Will definitely come back to try some of the desserts! As is traditional for osterias, the wine menu is extensive and I’d recommend exploring it. Make a reservation as the place fills up quickly, especially over the weekend.

This place was delicious! Definitely the most authentic Italian food and best restaurant that we had in our whole trip here. Their pasta was perfectly al dente and their carpaccio was the best carpaccio I have had in the city. Would definitely recommend and we even came back again!
Excellent food, reasonably priced and friendly, helpful staff. A local favourite. I’ve visited this restaurant a few times now with friends who live locally and recommend you be adventuresome with the dishes as the chefs have real creativity based on my experience of food in Rome. I opted for prawn gnocchi and a sort of baked artichoke purée, be brave, it will reward you.

Love love love this little gem we stumbled across! The food was amazing and the service was so sincere and devine. Tornerei! Purtroppo avevamo il tavolo vicino alla cucina quindi giusto qualche rumore in più ma capita, è casuale! Burrata ottima con gazpacho (che avrei gradito fosse più abbondante), ho preso poi spaghettoni aglio olio peperoncino con gamberi, buona e bella al dente ma con un po più di condimento (aglio, peperoncino, gamberi) avrebbe spinto di più, questione di gusti e palato. Il tiramisù pazzesco, biscotti dentro quasi croccanti e una crema spettacolare

We had dinner in the restaurant. The dining room looked very nice and was very confortable. Not too noisy even when full. The waiters didn't speak much English but menu had English translations. The service was friendly but often quite slow. Food was mostly very good although the cacio e pepe was little too dry and guanciale on my carbonara was (intentionally I assume) not crispy. Overall we had great time and I do recommend this place if you are in Testaccio.

Avevo già mangiato qui tempo fa e ne conservavo un ottimo ricordo. Anche rivedendo le recensioni e le foto più recenti, la scelta di tornare sembrava una garanzia. Purtroppo, però, l’esperienza non ha confermato a pieno le aspettative. La qualità delle materie prime e i sapori restano sicuramente al top, ma le porzioni sono visibilmente diminuite e alcuni piatti risultano meno curati nell’impiattamento, rispetto alle foto di altre recensioni attuali. In particolare, l’abbacchio non è risultato all’altezza del prezzo (18 €). L'unico piatto che veramente mi trovo a sconsigliare, almeno che non vogliate ritrovarvi a rosicchiare un osso per addentare il poco di carne che ci rimane. Anche l'accompagnamento di patate veramente scarso e insufficiente. Ok il redesign e la modernizzazione, ma non si dovrebbe dimenticare che il locale si presenta come osteria! Pertanto, il conto finale di circa 40 € a testa (antipasto e secondo) lascia un po’ perplessi, soprattutto perché siamo usciti con la sensazione di non aver mangiato a sufficienza. Nel complesso, gusto indiscutibile, quantità e prezzo rivedibile!

Hate to leave a bad review but it was an undeniably bad experience. The gazpacho and burrata was good but badly proportioned, the pasta in both dishes ordered was just not up to par - unevenly cooked (not Al dente.) Finally, the service was inattentive and frequently incorrect. We were seen well after several other guests who arrived later, we were brought the wrong dishes, and I didn’t get the wine I ordered for twenty minutes until I asked for a third time.
