Già stati in un altro ristorante del Ghetto, questa volta abbiamo cambiato e sempre per gustare il carciofo alla giudia e i primi piatti romani. Si mangia molto bene e le portate sono abbondanti. Cacio e pepe spettacolare, ma potete scegliere anche altro. Hanno sempre un piatto del giorno e ampia scelta di vini. Il posto è tipico romano, accogliente e informale.

Cibo molto buono, locale particolare, tranquillo, personale simpatico e cordiale.

Ci sono stato stasera con tre parenti. Siamo stati bene. Abbiamo mangiato bene, prezzi accettabili, servizio in generale veramente ottimo, attenzione e tanta simpatia del cameriere egiziano (mi spiace, non ricordo il nome) che ha lavorato al nostro tavolo. Infine, cosa non da poco, pur avendo avuto un problema con la prenotazione effettuata con un notissima app, hanno applicato lo sconto comunque, gesto di cortesia ed attenzione da sottolineare. Ci eravamo già stati e ci torneremo di nuovo. GRAZIE!

Sono tornata in questo ristorante e hanno riconfermato l’ottima esperienza della prima volta. Il personale è di una dolcezza infinita, mi hanno perfino organizzato una sorpresa di compleanno senza che venisse richiesta (un gesto che ricorderò). Non è il classico ristorante per turisti, si mangia davvero bene: consigliatissimi i primi, in particolare la gricia con i carciofi, e i carciofi sia alla romana sia alla giudia. Vivendo a Roma ci tornerò sicuramente, anche per l’ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Grazie e mi raccomando andateci ♥️

È la seconda volta che ci fermiamo a mangiare qui a distanza di alcuni mesi e posso solo confermare l'ottima esperienza. Abbiamo mangiato carciofi in tutte le salse e tutto era buonissimo. Abbiamo anche chiesto una variante sul menù, ovvero le mezze maniche invece dei tonnarelli alla gricia con carciofi, ed erano ottimi e perfettamente al dente! Siccome bisogna sempre migliorare, consiglio un pochino meno sale al condimento... Il servizio di Donato super! Simpatico, gentile e molto attento! Riguardo i prezzi non li ho trovati alti, per esempio il primo era abbondante e molto ben condito, quindi meritava il prezzo richiesto

Ho cenato in questo ristorante nel cuore di Roma e l'esperienza è stata impeccabile sotto ogni punto di vista. ​Il Cibo: Piatti davvero gustosi, preparati con cura e materie prime di qualità. Si sente la passione in cucina! ​L’Atmosfera: La location in pieno centro è incantevole, perfetta per godersi il fascino della Capitale. ​Il Servizio: Nota di merito assoluta per il personale. Sono stati professionali, veloci e, soprattutto, super gentili e ospitali con mia figlia, facendoci sentire subito a casa. È raro trovare tanta attenzione per le famiglie in zone così centrali. ​Prezzo: Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, onestissimo considerando la posizione e l’altissimo livello del servizio. ​Torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo!

The pasta was just excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can tell it was made with care, nothing overdone. It looked appetizing and tasted homemade in the best way. I calculated the calories using the service shown in the photo attached to this review. Super quick and convenient — just a few seconds, and you get the full calorie and macro info. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s mindful of their diet!

Food was delicious and reasonable priced , while we was there tour groups just kept on coming in to eat and drink so if your visiting the jewish ghetto pop in day hello to makram definitely worth a visit

I had the cacio e pepe and the artichoke at Al Taverna del Ghetto, and both were very good. The pasta was perfectly cooked, with a rich, creamy sauce full of flavor, and the artichoke was tender and delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive.

So we were hungry having been walking since early...and the time was getting on...think it was about 230/3pm which by Italian standards is pretty much 'lunchtime serving over'. However despite this, and the restaurant being heaving outside, we were directed to a table just by the entrance. Lovely. Atmosphere was casual, friendly, loud - you know standard Italy. This was back at the beginning of October, when the weather was just glorious. What a fabulous meal we had and hats off must go to the wonderful waiter/owner/manager who is pictured, his attention to detail when de-boning the fish at guests tables was second-to-none. My husband and I wandered by one evening and decided to try as I was looking for somewhere to try fried artichoke. I enjoyed our meal, we both got the gnocchi with zucchini hearts and saffron. I was very good. Service was good and we sat outside and enjoyed people watching in the busy neighbourhood. No complaints!

Nice restaurant in a nice area. Surprisingly it was not crowded when we hot there nor it was when we left. We had burgers with potatoes and sald despite the waiters attempts to have us try something more Italian. We simply informed him that we want burgers. Food was good l, liked lamb taste in my burger. Portions were reasonable and enough but I believe its a bit over prices. Ambiance itself was great and service as a start was good later we got annoyed by 3 different waiters coming to our table in about 10 mintues time span asking if we would like to order dessert or coffee. Each time we informed them the same that we don't want now. We felt that we weren't welcomed if we are not ordering more food. Management should pay attention to this.

Final "food" stop on our tour and we had the opportunity to taste their artichokes and zucchini flowers. Delicious fried foods that are unlike anything else I had during my time in Rome. I couldn't tell you about the service or the prices or the ambiance. We had our order to go and enjoyed it sitting nearby.

Ristorante all'interno del ghetto ebraico di Roma, praticamente in centro; presenta tavoli all'esterno e un menù molto vario e ricco di pietanze. Abbiamo ordinato sia il carciofo alla giudia, sia quello alla romana e non sono stati male. Successivamente abbiamo scelto di provare gli gnocchi, senza infamia e senza lode, e un'insalatona. Servizio un po' da migliorare.

⭐️⭐️ Deludente esperienza, poca attenzione al cliente italiano La Taverna del Ghetto si trova in una zona storica e affascinante di Roma, e propone cucina tipica giudaico-romanesca, un punto di forza che mi aveva spinto a provarla, avendo già cenato altrove nel Ghetto con soddisfazione. Purtroppo l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. Il servizio è molto basico, e ho avuto l’impressione che i camerieri fossero più focalizzati sui clienti stranieri, con poca attenzione rivolta a noi italiani. Per quanto riguarda la cucina, i piatti sono nella media ma senza particolari spunti: onesti, ma nulla che lasci davvero il segno o che venga voglia di ricordare. Un altro aspetto poco piacevole: molti tavoli all’esterno risultano storti a causa della superficie stradale sconnessa. Ci siamo ritrovati a cenare con le sedie inclinate e, nonostante lo abbiamo segnalato, non ci è stata offerta un'alternativa valida... (ed avevo anche prenotato il tavolo...) Nel complesso, la qualità percepita del servizio e l’attenzione al cliente non sono state soddisfacenti. Peccato

Attention to a Few Things: 1. They forcibly serve you bread without you asking and charge you €3 for it. 2. Pay very close attention to what you order and what you actually receive—the restaurant’s manager and waiters are very dishonest. I ordered a fish mix for €25, and without my consent, they changed my order to a more expensive dish. 3. The pasta dishes are excessively salty. Be cautious with your order—I will definitely not be returning to this place.
